Used to be a good place, not anymore. Atmosphere very dirty and dingy. Few regulars in there talking loud and disgusting conversations across the restaurant at each other. Food not so great. Fried wontons full of hair. Had a loud man come out from the kitchen don't know if wrked there or what but asked me and my daughter if we were done with our fork cause he couldn't find one to eat his food with. The dessert was ridiculous. The brownies were dried hard as hockey pucks. We will never be back nor would I ever recommend.
We came a little later in the evening. They made all fresh food for us in the buffet. Wasn't overly impressed with the food. It was ok but not great. Sorry, we won't likely be back.
Clean looking dining room. Small selection but tasty. Best Wonton soup so far in Saskatchewan. Chicken Wings were excellent except had 5 spice on them. Didn't need it. Prawns were yummy! Small but tasty buffet! Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return when in town.
It didn’t stand up to all the hype! The ginger beef was soggy and the Szechuan chicken was the worst I’ve had. That being said the mushroom rice and chow mein noodles were amazing! They also had the best spring rolls I’ve had in awhile! I’m sure other options are great as well, but I’ve had better Chinese in town! The door also closes abruptly and crushed my toe as I was leaving.
My mom has macular degeneration and can’t see so clearly. She goes to pay and went to use tap and the tip option pops up first(mom can’t read that) and asks “can I tap now?”. The worker then says wait and pushes the max tip button and then hands it back to mom to tap so I saw that and stepped in said wait, wait, wait and asked the waitress what she did, she denied doing it and smiled at me, I took the debit machine back and changed the tip to no tip and told her that is not nice to take advantage like that. Food was good, service was good but that last bit ruined it. Wonder how often seniors get taken advantage like that, not impressed🤦♂️
Did a take out order. Food was ready on time and checkout was easy. Food was hot and tasted wonderful as always. The location is a little out of the way for me, but we don't order from here often. They have the best crab rangoons in town. Absolutely delicious.
I visited this place with my dear friends for trying authentic Chinese cuisine. The ambiance was amazing with music in the background. People were very friendly especially Edmond. He was polite and made all of feel at home. He was kind enough to help us with flavourful chilli oil. I loved it and I would definitely come back for some more. Fried rice was delicious as well. That awesome chilli oil went well with the soup and fried shrimps that we had. I would recommend this place to all those who want to try out authentic Chinese cuisine and a looking for a great place to have lunch or supper. Keep up the good work you all.
This was the first time coming here. The service was above and beyond. I was celebrating my pre birthday here. They brought the cake that was brought and sang happy birthday. This meant alot to me. The food was very fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend and come back again. Thankyou :)

I did an order through skip( I should have just called the restaurant). They were out of dumplings,but instead of calling and asking me if I wanted something different,they just sent nothing I called, and they told me they were out and I was refunded through skip. However, a conversation should have happened with either skip and myself or the restaurant and myself. The food is usually great, however our order seemed rushed,the egg Foo Yung had zero color on it...just white eggs barely cooked with vegetables in it. Theyre portions have shrunk as well with the prices going up. When someone pays over 100 for Chinese,I expect it to be good and portions proper. Ill be going through the restaurant from now on and not skip, and hopefully they will go back to their normal portions

I always order to be delivered . The food is always excellent hot and lots of it. I love the Singapore Noodles dish and it never disappoints as originally living in the Vancouver area and being able to enjoy Chinatown and its food this in Moose Jaw is as close as it gets

I had shown up at approximately 7:45 pm and they served me and catered to me like they had all night and plenty of food to share(i had buffet) . I ate two plates full of delishes food(pork that looked like bacon was off the charts)Edmond served me and was so helpful plus pleasant. I could not of asked for a better time and meal. I will return perhaps bring some friends or family to share the wonderful experience with.
Made an order last night was told it was going to be an hour. Ended up being an hour and a half the food was so covered in breading you couldnt even tell if it was had meat in it at all. It was covered in sauce that had virtually no flavour. The crab rangoons had no crab just cream cheese it was very disappointing that I will probably never order from there again.

Ordered the Fried rice with chicken balls. That was two days ago, Im still sick! I showed a friend, and they couldnt even distinguish what it was. Ive eaten here before, with no problems, I feel as if it was undercooked. I will not be ordering from here again. The delivery guy was great though. So he got three stars.

Pushy staff.. always trying to make recommendations when clearly youve indicated you arent interested. I mean 5 x asking me.. stop. Hubby used bathrooms and said they were disgusting. Buffet seemed to be enjoyed by those having it but half empty, and what was there just looked all the same deep fried. Decided NOT to stay and found a better Chinese restaurant without a buffet instead, which looked and tasted sooo much better!

Ordered a late takeout dinner from our hotel after a long day of traveling and found the food to be some of the best I have ever had! Excellent in all ways and really good sized portions.
We ordered the landscape special for 3. We were disappointed. The chicken wings were old and tough. The rice and dry ribs were very nice. The chicken balls and shrimp were just deep fried and over breaded Hard to find meat in there. We were hungry, had had a long day and were looking forward to a treat, Didnt happen.
It s an aged dining room but typical for a neighborhood Chinese Restaurant. The food has been good for years!!! I can t count how many times I have stopped in for the lunch time buffet. All around good place.
I hadn t been to this restaurant for 4 years. Went this past weekend. Had the smorg. It was okay - close to how I remember. BUT! It is so dirty in there! The carpet is filthy! We could see into the back and it is also filthy! Probably won t go back and not sure I will ever order from there either! They really need to clean up the place! Yuck! Parking: Better in evenings
Ordered a variety of meals for takeout, every one was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed them. This restaurant is my first choice for a special occasion and treat meal.
I went into the restaurant today. First time though Ive been an online customer for ages. It was my birthday and I was with my Mom. We are both over 60 in age to portray how excellent this outing was to us. The waitress noticed my birthday card and said the smorgasbord was on the house. Well, I dug in and ate until I couldnt. The service was as good as the food, excellent. The atmosphere is like a Chinese diner. The food was the best smorgasbord food Ive had in a long while. The quality was quite high. Not cheap dishes. These were good dishes of vegetables shrimp chicken balls etc. The pork dish they had that day was great. If your journey into this restaurant is as good as mine its worth the cost of a meal. I had mine at lunch just saying.
I am so distressed to write this review. We lived on Iroquois street for 30 years, the landscape was our favorite and only take out restaurant for all that time. Not just because it was on the same block but because food was great and plentiful and we we had a good relationship with the people. Even after moving away we would still make special trips to the Landscape for our favorite food ignoring all other oriental resturants. Lately things started doing the Covid slip, portions smaller, price increases but still great food. Everyone expects price increases, but that with smaller portions is disappointing. The final straw was the last order, aside from the small container of fried rice, the crab rangoons were horrible there was so little filling in them it was embarrassing, it was like eating a cracker no taste of filling at all. The amount of filling was the size of a pea. Hate to see this relationship end like this but I guess it is time to move on.
Great place, great people. Good food for the price. Be kind and tip the staff, they deserve it. Order ahead, and they never miss when they say its ready.

Because of Covid, they closed their buffet, unbeknownst to us, they just reopened the buffet option other day. We happened to be in the area and stopped in. Forgotten how great the food was! The staff was super friendly, will definitely go back again.

It has been a long time since weve had the pleasure of having the famous Landscape Buffet! So thankful they have reopened the buffet! As usual, the food is fresh, tasty, and a wonderful variety of Chinese cuisine. And the service was, of course, so friendly! Thank you for reopening the buffet! It was like reuniting with an old friend!

It was my first visit in landscape dinein. We had a buffet. I would recommend it for buffet lovers. Menu is similar with Jade Garden. The host was really good to us. He addressed to our whole group which we liked.

I lovve going here and or ordering take out. The staff are vvery friendly, and keep up wwith the buffet. I havve nevver had an issue here, foods great, servvice is good. Plus you get a fortune cookie after, wwhats there not to lovve! I wwill wwarn that it is of a smaller place so if they get full, there wwill not be to much running around room.

Their food is delicious and fairly priced, and the service is excellent. My only complaint is that theyre not open on Mondays. I always seem to be craving Chinese food on Monday, and am forced to take my business elsewhere. I would have given them five stars instead of four if they were open on Mondays.

We ordered takeout from Landscape for our family last night. Everything was so good! We got a combo dinner plus a few extras! Incredibly fresh and large portions. It was a Sunday night, the food took a bit longer than we were originally told, but it was very busy and the fellow at the till was quite apologetic. Landscape is our favorite spot in Moose Jaw for Chinese food!
Huge thank you to the landscape for all of their public health measures during covid! This has quickly become a favourite for take out. The egg rolls are amazing.

Disgustingly full of oil and salt. This was some of the worst food Ive ever had. Eating each bite was like drinking straight soya sauce. It was so salty that my mouth was numb for hours. There was no flavour, just salt. The old box I picked it up in was covered in oil. I had to shampoo my car because the oil leaked everywhere. If you have a truck, be sure to transport this take-out in the bed. Dont bring it in the cab with you.

War Wonton Soup is overpriced for the size offered. 3x the amount of vegetables to protein ratio. The chow mein dish had a one serving size amount of noodles. The vegetables were undercooked. Quality has changed since the last visit.
My family and I eat the buffet here regularly and have never been disappointed. The buffet is always stocked even when it s busy. The food is delicious with a nice variety. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Service was fast and very friendly. But sadly that is the only reason I could give 1 star. Plus I have to give a star for a review. We decid to order based on the reviews we saw and wish we hadnt! It was probably the worst Chinese food we have ever had. Especially for the price! It was very much like fast food/mall type food. The house fried rice was sticky and flavorless and lacking in ingredients. The pinapple ribs were in an odd colored sauce that had a very bizarre flavor. More like ginger beef. The only reason we were sure it was what we ordered is because it actually had pinapple. The ribs them self were basically all grissle and fat. Any meat was dry and chewy. The beef with black bean sauce was flavorless in a thin light colored sauce. Not a dark rich flavor as expected. It was more like beef and broccoli sauce at best. The egg rolls and fresh rolls also lacked flavor and all the food was less than warm.
Friendly service, very generous portions in terms of take out and delivery orders. A busy restaurant especially during the rush hours for dinner time, meanwhile always spot on fresh at all times. Responsible owners and staff throughout the covid-19 period for closing their buffet and dine-in temporarily. The Owner William, mentioned they will try to bring back dine in and possibly the buffet once covid settles down a bit after Christmas, hopefully. But boy of boy, we surely do miss their buffet! So far, ordering for take out and delivery has been just as good!

They have a good smorge, may be a bit smaller than other restaurants. We have been there twice and each time there were different items at the smorge table. The service is quick and courteous. Very busy restaurant, but usually an open table to be found.

During the last sweep of regular health inspections, Landscape was the only kitchen in town to pass with no issues. Keeping in mind that even the cleanest kitchens in any city have health code issues due to a variety of factors, some of which are entirely beyond owner or management control, this in itself should be an indication of quality. Personal observation of the kitchen validated the report, as in 30 years in the industry I had rarely seen a kitchen operating during a lunch rush with NO food or waste on the counters or floor. Immaculate. Food is top shelf, service is friendly and gracious, and atmosphere is clean and fresh. WELL DONE!

The service was good, the place was busy, but I think people from out of town will be disappointed. We came here because of the reviews but left thinking it is obvious Moose Jaw lacks a really good Chinese restaurant. We had the buffet and the selection was your typical pre-made freezer-into-deep fryer fair. I think only the rice and veggies were not deep-fried. Doesnt compare for example to China Liangs in Regina. Dessert selection was ace though.
Went for the buffet the rice was hard the chicken balls had to much batter and small piece of chicken the pork was soggy no crunch to it I enjoyed there food better when we got take out
We were looking for a quick place to eat as we passed through Moose Jaw and found Landscape on Google. The food was good with a decent selection. We were able to eat and get back on the road target quickly without resorting to Timmies again.
Always excellent. My favourite Saskatchewan Chinese food restaurant!! Consistent quality and flavour. The lunch buffet is always fresh and hot. The staff are very nice.
The dish portions were small, yet prices were high. The salt and pepper squid dish appeared to be cooked from a pre-made product with small pieces of squid and a lot of loose batter. The chicken in the Special Chow Mein was hard, grainy and tasteless. Very disappointing family meal!
