Reservation for 6 for 7pm, was running late showed up at 720pm, they had already given our table away for 7people at 6...nope backwards... then we waited over an hour for food at in 15 minutes and left unimpressed

Hands down the best pizza Ive had in Moosejaw.

Portions are pretty large. Good value, great quality. You can believe all the reviews raving about the ribs. They are fantastic. I usually have low expectations for restaurant food, but this place surpassed any and all expectations I had. Seriously great food, Im impressed.

The food is amazing here! I ve never tasted a French onion soup like theirs before, delicious!! It s a busy place and the service was slow. Not bad just slow, they were personable and the food was prepared quickly.

First time at a Greek restaurant, I went with an actual greek so I had some insight and I enjoyed everything as did he, he just would have liked to see more selection of dishes and the chicken souvlaki isnt proper souvlaki. Delicious food though!

We ve been going to Temple Gardens in Moose Jaw for years and finally went to the Mad Greek restaurant! We had chicken souvlaki with Greek salad and Athenian chicken with Greek fries. Everything was excellent, the service and the food! We will definitely be going back any time we re in Moose Jaw.

We visited the Mad Greek and were very impressed by their hospitality and food. Their Greek ribs were great, their gyro was delicious, but most importantly their tzatziki was properly made and the best we ve had in a while. The restaurant itself doesn t have visual appeal but I would recommend them based off of their food alone.

Me and my boyfriend had went to Moosejaw for a little road trip to check out some places, we stopped by this place as he loves Greek food. When we arrived it was busy but the service, waitresses, and the food was out of this WORLD. I got the cheese pizza as I heard it was VERY good and it was amazing! One of the best places to eat in Moosejaw and when I go back to Winnipeg I will SO recommend it! Thank you so much and please keep doing what you are doing

Possibly the most misinformed staff, the chefs didn t even know any ingredients of the sauces regarding allergies my friend had an allergy and they couldn t even get that information for us. Had to leave

Just Wanted to let you(the owner) know I don t enjoy giving out bad reviews to the restaurant I myself am a Professional server and have worked in multiple cuisines and restaurants myself, we(customers) always want to have a good time at a restaurant and I myself have visited at your restaurant in 2020 and loved it that was the whole reason to come back and I never asked your server to clean a whole inside of the oven for us Im not sure what your server told you but we requested to use a clean knife that s all and she kept saying the same thing that there s meat everywhere and the chef is not going to clean everything and we said again can you please just use a clean knife and she bluntly replied no we can t. Ask her if that was not the case, also we asked the server about the greek sauce for any allergens amd she said it s a secret sauce, we were not asking for its recipe just an allergen related question which as a server or a chef should be known to them. Im sorry if your server says otherwise but I don t have to gain anything for getting a bad experience. And for your information the restaurant we went just after leaving yours got an amazing review just because they were well informed and much more accommodating.

Not the most charming place but the food was exceptional.

Placed an order for delivery and everything was fantastic! The person on the phone who took our order was friendly and courteous, the delivery driver was fast and friendly, and the food was superb! We ordered a few different items (salads, Greek ribs, Mad Bread, and poutine) and everything was delicious and top quality! We always have great food from Mad Greek and the staff is always phenomenal! Kudos to John and his wonderful staff!

11/10 would drive 6 hours from Calgary again just to eat here! The moussaka? Life-changing. My husband and I devoured the Greek platter, and every bite was fresh, flavorful, and downright phenomenal. As for the baklava let s just say I ve never cried happy tears from eating I d give anything to taste it all again for the first time!

We had the platter they have to offer, hands down it s the best food we have had, don t miss out on this restaurant if you are in the area. 10/10

Warning! I ve been trying different places, looking for a great pizza, this was my first time. At the mad Greek And I m hooked! You will enjoy the food. The crust is perfect, the toppings excessive, in a great way, the cheese perfect, be warned you ll likely be returning again and again.! Wow. Can t say enough good stuff.

Update: We returned a couple of weeks ago and had an enormous meal including the Greek platter and also collected our extra secret sauce from the prior visit, thank you!. All super delicious. Every time I walk in the door the smell makes me want to eat everything on the menu. This place never disappoints. In our travels, every time we tell people we are going to this restaurant they already seem to know of it and love it as much as we do. Side note: Washrooms are also modern and clean which is always appreciated and a good sign. We researched restaurants with the best reviews before visiting and this one looked promising. Little did we know, the experience and food was even better than expected, we wanted to try every item on the menu!! After the first visit we specifically drove out from Saskatoon for a second visit and ordered a dish to go as well. The only bad part was when we got home and opened our takeout containers, we were crushed to find that our special sauce (the most amazing and important part) was missing!! Its like the death of a loved one! Words cant describe how good this is so we are still dealing with our loss! So far, ribs and pizza are amazing, if ever visiting in the future and ordering takeout you can bet we are going to inspect our containers for the secret sauce before leaving for Saskatoon!

I thought the food was delicious, service was ok :) I didn t care for the Greek mayo that came on my Slovaki, but I could tell they were made very well, and with a lot of love. When I go back I ll ask for sauce on the side

Massive portions. Good quality food. Slightly disappointed in the Greek salad. (Light on olives, peppers and feta) And no feta and olive appetizer. But overall good food and great value.

Overall everything was amazing here, the staff were extremely kind and we got our food incredibly fast. Unfortunately, I ended up getting food poisoning from the food here. We phoned the restaurant back the next day letting them know, and they said there was absolutely no way that I could ve gotten food poisoning from their restaurant because I had no meat in my food. I got the gyro wrap, which has lamb and beef in it. Not sure if it was an oversight or not, but I was completely wrecked from the food poisoning I got. Even today, almost 3 months later, I m still dealing with issues because of it. And I m forever turned off greek food, which is the greatest crime of all.

Dietary restrictions: I have celiacs, and they were able to accommodate a gluten free meal. Other than the waiter bringing my meal out at the same time as the gluten items all sharing an arm, which has cross contamination potential. It was good. Big portions. And no reaction to me. Yay! Food

Its a nice restaurant with adequate service but I regret ordering the Greek wings with what was supposed to be a Greek salad. The wings were smothered in sauce and were okay. The Greek salad however was not a traditional Greek salad but rather was a lettuce salad that was overly smothered with so much of their Greek sauce that I could not eat it. I mentioned that there was too much sauce and the waitress just shrugged and took the plate away. It was disappointing after a very long day of driving so I chalked it up to a lesson learned.

Excellent food, great atmosphere!

Omg the pepperoni mushroom lasagna will have you coming back for more and we did. Tonight my husband tried for the first time and he was so impressed and said it is so good that he wanted to lick out the container (we had takeout). He also usually gets the ribs and fries but I may have converted him over to the lasagna now. Will definitely be back to eat in and to take out when passing through Moose Jaw to lake or when passing through to head back to Regina.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was quite disappointed. The food was not delicious at all it lacked flavor and seemed quite bland. To make matters worse, the prices were unreasonably high for the quality of the dishes served. I expected much better for the amount I paid. I wouldn t recommend this place if you re looking for a satisfying meal that s worth your money.

Went to this restaurant for lunch... Tuesday. Family of 4. We waited over an hour while a big group of 30ish ppl came in, ate and left by the time we got our food. Apparently it was a Moose Jaw hockey team. The restaurant staff did not have had the courtesy to notify us that the wait would be longer. We had 2 young kids with us (you know how that goes if youre in one spot too long). Manager shook the hockey players/ coaches hands on the way out.. thanked them for coming. No one to be seen when we left. Portions sizes were good. Food, fine but not rave-worthy.

Stopped at the mineral spas in Moose Jaw on our way through, this place was well recommended to eat at. This small Greek restaurant was the antithesis of every franchise pub that decimates the Canadian restaurant landscape, the restaurant is small with a fun view of the kitchen, some colorful looking cooks make you some vibrant, fresh tasting foods. My wife had the Greek ribs and Caesar salad, I had gyros with a Village salad, which I ve never had but was delicious. The Greek ribs are apparently famous, and rightfully so. Actually craving it here the next day, it was just bursting with flavour.

Today our admin staff at Westmount treated us to lunch from the Mad Greek for Teacher Appreciation Week! The food was delicious, hot and ready right in time for lunch! Thank you so so much!!

I have attempted to come to the Mad Greek a few times this year and us always packed I got lucky last night and it was well worth the effort had a friend with me from southern Ontario and he was blown away with the quality and service he dud not expect in a small city and I agree 100% food was perfect and service was spot on the common complaint I hear is its expensive but good I disagree for the quality and service I found it to be a bargain! Well worth the visit if you want top quality fair prices plus locally owned ca t ask for more then that

My son and I stopped in for lunch, they had a lunch special menu, the prices were the same as their regular menu. We each had a burger, they were really good flavour, however my mushroom mozza had a crazy amount of mustard. The fries where a little greasy. Over all our first experience, was good enough that I would go there again.

Mad Greek was a mixed experience for me. The mozza mushroom burger was delicious. The service was not exceptional; we sat for about 30 minutes after finishing our food before we asked for a dessert menu at the front. The baklava was crispy on top but mushy beneath the top layer.

It was takeout, so can t comment on the atmosphere! Lol. The pizza we ordered was the mad greek . That Greek was mad with the toppings. It is their all dressed Their pizza dough, foundation was excellent, cooked right even after an avalanche of fresh toppings. The sauce was not too tangy, which I like. Got their caesar salad, which was nice and fresh with just the right amount of dressing. Honestly have never had better, the pizza included. I just wish i would have ordered from them previously when we were in Moose Jaw. Thank you to Mike, RPN for telling me how great it is. You were not exaggerating!!

I have referred thousands of people to the Mad Greek and have never heard anything but how FANTASTIC the food and service is. Staff were really friendly! There were a couple downsides, the food took really long, and there were a couple issues with the food (dry chicken and a smoked sausage that you wouldnt get greek restaurants) other than those issues, I totally recommend eating there! Kid-friendliness: Staff were really friendly and accommodating! Free refills for drinks and just overall a positive environment!

This place has to be one of the best Greek restaurants out there. Super unique design outside with art inside of Greek soldiers (300 style) and hand drawn Santorini art. That s just the restaurant. The food, don t even get me started First the chicken souvlaki was hands down the best I have ever had. It was fall of the stick tender and had a sauce on it that just made it extremely delicious. The rice was delicious, the Greek fries were in some type of wine vinaigrette so they were epic! I also got the pita bread and tzatziki sauce and that was also outstanding. Must try if you are in MJ because it s a one of restaurant from what I know of. One thing to note, and I only am because if you are a time crunch be careful as the food is prepared fresh and takes a little longer than normal restaurants but that is worth it because it s so delicious. So to me that doesn t take away from its 5 stars!

One of the best places to eat at in moose jaw prices are a bit high but well worth it. If you are visiting or new to MJ lunch super or late night hunger eats everything on the menu is excellent. But there Greek salad and Robs are by far there best dishes.

Ordered Greek Ribs, lemon roasted potatoes and got a mass of overcooked grease after waiting 45 minutes! Their Greek ribs are deep fried chunks of meat and their lemon roasted potatoes are deep fried steak fries - both saturated in fat! So very disappointed. After being out $54 and 45 minutes I now have to go out and find something decent to eat!

Please do not let the odd combination of Greek food and pizza confuse you. Mad Max offers a very good Greek dining experience. We visited on Friday around 7 o clock and it was not too busy. The menu is comprehensive, and includes a variety of pizza dishes as well as Greek food, and some standards like hamburgers. We opted for the chicken and pork kebabs, which were delicious. The servings were very generous, the food was served piping hot, and it was all very well seasoned. The salad that accompanied the meals was fresh. We also very much appreciated the helpful information that we received from our server. She offered us some great tips on things to see in the Moose jaw area, and we were very appreciative. Overall, we were very pleased and we would return without hesitation.

Facility clean and very attractive with many booths. Drive thru as well as outdoor seating. WiFi good. Bathrooms clean and attractive. Staff friendly and very cordial. My wife and I both enjoyed our meal. Parking is challenging.

Seems like a place with a lot of potential but from my experience it just wasn t great. Had the dry ribs and ceasar salad. Salad was great, dry ribs were not good at all. Some of them you could hardly get a fork into and they were hard to chew. It seemed like they d been microwaved. They came COVERED in a sauce that tasted purely like mayonnaise. I m definitely a sauce fan but that was not good. About 10 minutes after my meal came the garlic toast to go with it arrived. The waitress seemed distracted and I had to ask for a drink refill, the pop was flat. Just an overall disappointing experience. Prices seemed quite high too.

How good is The Mad Greek? My husband, originally from MJ and now living in Texas will tell anyone and everyone all around the world that the best pizza he s ever had and will ever have is at The Mad Greek. We ve traveled all through USA, Australia, Asia and Europe. But no he still says The Mad Greek is the best. We ve been to Italy. I-T-A-L-Y and still says nothing compares to The Mad Greek. It is the FIRST place we go to when we visit his mum in MJ and he will eat there multiple times before we leave. The pizza is fantastic, the boneless ribs are insanely good and he ordered a meal for his mum on Mother s Day and she had the carrot cake cheesecake which she said was the best thing I ve ever eaten . Please consider a freezer section with frozen pizzas so I can tide my husband over till his next trip back to MJ.

The Village Salad is a traditional Greek salad. There other salad had lettuce in it. The stuffed chicken breast was great, a very large portion. Loved the Baklava. Very cool air conditioning.

Our family of six adults all from out of town dined at this restaurant last night. The food was magnificent!! However, our waiter must have been new because he had to check with someone else whenever we had a question. He was pleasant but perhaps he needs more training and/or experience. The place was packed on a Wednesday night which indicates that it is a very popular and good restaurant. We stayed almost till closing time and the issue that bothered me was ou server never took away the dishes. Our table had two platters and there were a lot of dishes, and I felt very uncomfortable sitting through out the evening with a dirty table. Towards the end of the night, another staff member started to take our plates off, which I appreciated. So m, a delicious food , and I would recommend this restaurant, just feel that the server needs a little bit more support Thank you and will be back whenever we are in town again!.

GREAT EXPERIENCE, Restaurant was super busy for a Monday (power outages in parts of the city contributed to extra diners) and yet both the service and food were top notch!

John and his staff are some of the best in town. If you haven t eaten at The Mad Greek, you are truly missing out. Whether we eat in the restaurant, pick-up ourselves or get it delivered - the food is always delicious! And their pick-up drive-thru window is so convenient. Even during busier times, the food is WORTH THE WAIT. This is a gem in Moose Jaw, and we ll continue eating here and recommending it. Get the baked feta while you re at it !!

The food is delicious. The service is always quick and timely even on a busy evening. The Greek ribs and Greek salad are my go-to, keep doing what you re doing! Highly recommend.

Travelling Manitoba to BC. This is one of the best family restaurants I ve been to in a long time. In fact we rarely eat out due to poor quality restaurants in our area. The food here was fresh, very tasty, huge portions & fairly priced. Excellent attentive service to top it off. Keep up the good work. We will definitely return.

The food is ok its expensive for what you get and you wait and wait and wait no time management whatsoever

clean. i mean you need to clean, my phone stuck to the table. it was certainly not just the table as you say cause mine was the only one that stuck, it was dried soda, ik because i touched it and the rest of the table. big difference. i have been here multiple times. the tables dont do that the other times so ? excuses instead of just telling your staff to clean. Next time in in ill be sure to take photos

Loved this place! Friendly staff and great food....big plates! Even though a whole hockey team arrived right after us we were not waiting long for our scrumptious meals!

We went to the restaurant on October 13th . We had the pork souvlaki meal and it was delicious. Next time you are in Moose Jaw give it a try I m highly recommend it.

We orderd the dry ribs and salad and were very Disapointed in the amount of ribs that they had given us maybe 15 bite size ribs , for the price they charge it should of been twice as big , service was good staff friendly

This is literally some of the best food in the WORLD. If you ever get the chance and are passing through Moose Jaw Saskatchewan make sure you stop here! Love this place and everything they do! I dont want to over hype it, but it may be the best food on the entire planet!

Waited long over an hour, for burgers and fries. The food arrived cold, the restaurant was cold, the wait... way too long, we will not be back.

Had the Gyros, Greek Platter and a side Village Salad. It was amazing. Some of the best Greek food weve had. And Jules our server was great. Friendly, helpful, attentive. Definitely try the Mad Greek when in Moose Jaw!

Excellent service as always

My husband and I went to Moose Jaw for our anniversary again this year and decided to try out a different restaurant. The Mad Greek was great. I looked on the menu ahead of time and saw the Greek chicken salad and ended up ordering that and when it came to the table I was amazed that it looked double in size and it was so good and I had ordered the Mad Greek Greek salad dressing which is a creamier dressing and Im glad I did. My husband ordered the Gyro with Greek salad with the traditional Greek dressing and again the plate was full. Halfway through our meal we ordered a medium Mad Greek pizza to take out and were so happy with the size and proportion amount you get. When we did eat it later on I was only able to eat 2 pieces and it was like eating a whole meal. Parking: We were lucky to park right out front of the door so that was nice.

I ve ordered the baby back ribs and it was not good . I have no idea how this place got a 4.4* review. Paid so much money and I m very disappointed. Definitely won t go/order there again!

Best Ribs in the World! The meals never disappoint

I loved the pizza at Mad Greek! The vegetarian pizza topped with a combination of fresh veggies and gooey mozzarella was an absolute delight. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The friendly staff and ambiance made the experience even better. I highly recommend this spot for a tasty, comforting meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere!
