Bobby's Place in Moose Jaw

Being scottish and living in the neighboring city regina for 10 years, I am so glad this place exists! The closest to authentic home foods and atmosphere you will get! The portions are MASSIVE, great value for money and the staff are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and dressed in TARTAN!!! What more needs to be said? Highly reccomend the mushrooms, they will feed you and your family for days lol we will be back soon! (Next weekend most likely) do not miss this place when in moosejaw!

Bobbys Place has earned its spot as my top choice for homemade Beer battered mushrooms, surpassing all others. Its an absolute must-try! Accompanied by my son, who praised their burgers, I opted for one and was astounded by its size and juiciness, comparable to a fantastic burger Id enjoyed in BC. Paired with homemade fries, it made for an incredible meal. While I didnt capture a photo, the numerous napkins we used would have illustrated the burgers exceptional juiciness. With a diverse selection of homemade options, Bobbys Place is a must-visit for lunch or dinner, with the added bonus of live music on some weekends.

Im a Canadian of Irish descent and spent time touring Ireland. This pub was like home. Its of Scottish origins and the atmosphere was spot on! I just finished driving over 6700 km from AB to Southern ON and the food at this location was SO UNBELIEVABLY FANTASTIC that Im making ABSOLUTELY SURE to go back on my return trip home. I had the BRIDIE and it was foodgasmic! Ive been thinking about it for weeks. Literally. And Im a 130 lb 51 woman and you truly dont understand just how amazing this dish was! PLEASE, TAKE MY MONEY AND MY DOG AND MY HUSBAND AND MY FIRST BORN!! I MUST HAVE MORE OF THIS CULINARY MAGIC!! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great burger! We both had the Bobby burger, it was very tasty and served on a nice fresh bun, the fries were good! And everything going by looked good too! Looking forward to going back and trying the roast beef with Yorkshire or fish and chips.

This place is a total gem. Great family feel evident by their service. Unique atmosphere and amazing food. I had the Yorkshire pudding and my guests had the chicken pot pie and fish and chips. All were amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or living in Moose Jaw.

Service is great, drinks are good, vibe is immaculate. Food was good but not great, Yorkshire pudding was not my ideal version and seems a little crisp/ not fluffy the way a classic Yorkshire pudding is. Overall pretty good.

Took an out of town business associate here. Mike was from Nova Scotia and was expecting fish sticks and fries..... boy was he shocked. Ordered the fish and chips and after 5 minutes confessed it was better than back home. Service was fantastic as always. My go to place to impress out of towners that love great food. Great drinks also, if you like Scotch, great selection.

Arrived for lunch. We had the shepherds pie and fish and chips. Both were excellent tasting and large portions. The young lady serving was very friendly, efficient and very courteous. My 1st visit here wont be my last. 5 stars for Bobbys Place.

Best Fish & Chips in Moose Jaw. Hands down!

Yorkshire too large to cook properly. Stodgy in the middle, almost burnt outside. Meat and gravy underseasoned. Were spuds real?

We had heard Bobby s was not a place to be missed when in Moose Jaw. We are so glad we listened and stopped in for dinner last night. Our server, Jade was lovely and provided us with great service. Out of the four of us, three had the fish and chips and one had cod bites. It was all delicious and plenty of food, and Jade made sure we had refreshments as often as we wanted. We will definitely return the next time we are in Moose Jaw.

We went for the first time on St. Patty s day and the place was PACKED! Service was top notch, even with it being so busy. Portion sizes for food were huge! Loved that they had malt vinegar for the fries. And the deep fried mars bar was drool-worthy. Atmosphere was great, loved the live bands. Bathrooms were beautiful and clean. We ll definitely be back

Bobbys is what I would consider a hole in the wall pup and restaurant that you need to check out! The food and atmosphere is great and the have live music every Saturday. We went for dinner and checked out Adam Johnson and his band. Fantastic time!

Awesome English style pub. I try to stop in while driving through. Unfortunately, they seem to be close Monday snd or Tuesdays. Great pub style at decent prices. Good Ceasars too!

Im still so sad Bobbys Place closed here in Regina, Sk. It now gives me an excuse to come to Moose Jaw to their Original Location. This location is usually packed but the great atmosphere is something that is a hard find these days.

Food was very good as we expected. Prices were in line with other restaurants. Check their daily specials. If you like what you hear, they are a great bargain. For example the Wednesday special is the $10.99 half pound hamburger with fries was a great deal! We found that there were too many tables cramped into the restaurant making it somewhat noisy and crowded.

Excellent location across the street from Temple Gardens spa. Wednesday specials were awesome. Especially the battered cauliflower with buffalo sauce and the beer deal was good too. Fish and chips were good as was the cheeseburger on special. The fries and gravy are AMAZING! Caesar drink also very nice. Service was good as was the atmosphere. Will be back next time were in Moose Jaw.

Ive had scotch eggs, fish and chips and the yorkshire pudding dishes, everything has come out to hot to eat, and delicious. The food here is really, really good. Service has always been excellent too.

Our trip to Moose Jaw for our Anniversary was not off to a good start. But coming to Bobbys Place made it worth everything! The food was amazing, the service incredible, and the atmosphere was brilliant! Thank you for a lovely anniversary dinner and the complimentary shots. Next time well stick around for the karaoke.

This was my second visit to this place, and it did not disappoint. The service is really good, the servers are friendly, and the food is very good. I had the western caesar and it was AMAZING. Their drink menu has lots of choices and the atmosphere is unique & fun. Would definitely go back again!

The atmosphere was awesome and the waitresses were great. The waitresses were fun and knowledgeable. The food was awesome cant wait to go back. They even had my favorite beer from Newfoundland.

Staff were friendly, food was hot and portions were over-the-top. You definitely need to stop here if you are in the area. Fish & Chips were top-notch and the Cod Bites were equally as tasty.

Had the very best Nachos and Yorkshire dishes in over a decade, complimented by the evening drink special _ V7limes. Incredible flavors and very ample proportions. Thanks again to all the staff that continue to put on great service and great meals!

A pub with a large bar. Periodically there is live music. A large room with tables for visitors. Excellent interior design. Cute waitresses, especially the cutest Jade, I hope others wont be offended. Reasonable prices and a considerable selection of drinks.

Very good atmosphere, food and drinks were very good. Only issue was that there were no stalls in the mens bathroom only urinals.

For me no trip to Moose Jaw is complete without stopping for a plate of delicious fish and chips at Bobbys. Great service and food.

I want to give a better rating but I just cant. I have been here a few times over the years. They are known for their fish and chips. I ordered them with crispy fries. The fish seemed tasteless. The fries are home cut & fresh. Im no cook, but I dont think I have ever received fresh cut fries that were crispy...these were simply overcooked and not crispy at all. The place is small and cramped. The building size they cant change, but the seating is very uncomfortable. We came for supper and drinks and to listen to the band. We were there about 2 1/2 hours and couldnt wait to leave the chair was so uncomfortable. The staff is great, the atmosphere is great. My wife enjoyed her homemade burger. I think they are great corporate citizens

We had a large group of hockey people come in about 20 min before last call for food. Our server, Kevin did an amazing job of getting everyone fed and kept the drinks flowing. Well done.

We want to try the food as everybody recommends Bobbys, so hopefully theyll let us in next time we go Kid-friendliness: If you have kids dont bother going! Didn t try the food, just showed up for the kareoke and some beers. Spent about 40$ on the night, had a few laughs and walked out hammered. 100% recommend great cute spot!

This is one of the most unique places in Moosejaw with personally what Id say is not only the best but most appetizing looking food in all of Saskatchewan! I openly recommend their gravy fries and steak sandwich It is the best meal Ive ever had and I get it every single time I go there. Food

Bobby s is a very nice place to go, the portions are really big and the price is cheap! The food tastes really good too! It can get very loud in there, even when there isn t an event on. One time my friend and I went on a day where there wasn t supposed to be anything on and a band showed up and played music for like an extra night. My friend and I weren t prepared and we were right up close to the stage and it was so loud we ended up just packing our food up and taking it home. It can be really fun! I just wasn t expecting it, and it was on the calendar we just missed it. So if you don t want loud, make sure it s on a night without karaoke or live music. If you like karaoke and live music, you ll love it! It can be calm on other days! The service is amazing as well!

A few steps from our hotel we found this local hot spot that serves tasty bar food and more

My food was so greasy. Burnt my mouth and grease ran down my arm. The fries were thickly covered in salt and seasoning giving them a rough texture and too salty. In contrast to the other meal ordered which was super bland.

Food is good, big portions, Irish traditional dishes, if there is live music, atmosphere is really cool.

Ordered the bangers and mash, and the fish and chips for take-out. Very nice. But, the issue is the online price from their own menu and their website shows $17 for the bangers and mash, and $17.50 for the fish and chips. When I went to pay, they were $19.99 each. And no, I wasnt using some old menu or some lunch discounted menu - it is the one on their website. I didnt bother arguing because I didnt want to hear some excuse about their online site, but no tip and likely not ordering from them again.

Ordering a drink that was on the menu as a classic: it looked like a little milk and still Coca-Cola, terrible. I noticed that here in Canada alcoholic drinks are usually made with a lot of ice, some terrible syrup and the alcohol is passed where Judah lost his boots. These drinks normally cost more than 20 dollars lol.... the big colors are beautiful, but they really dont have any flavor. This place is for natives, lots of drinks and food, noise of people talking loudly...

If you visit the pub during the day you re likely to meet Mitch the Witch, Bobby s granddaughter Her heart is in this little pub and it shows! Vegetarian options: Black bean veggie burger is delicious. Greek Salad is HUGE! Beer battered mushrooms

My sister-in-law and I are in town for a family reunion and we decided to stop here for lunch as it was recommended by a local shop owner. We love the atmosphere, and the servers were extremely friendly. What I was quite impressed with was that I ordered mussels. At the end of the meal when I received the cheque the waitress, kindly pointed out that she s deducted some of the price because some of the mussels did not open up. I ve never had that happen in a restaurant before and it was quite a pleasant surprise. We both enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere very much. We will be back the next time we re in town. Thank you.

Nice little Irish/Scottish pub, with amazing Shepards pie. Had it and was it was great and super filling. Even the baby Shepard pie that I had a few days later was filling and I didnt leave hungry! Great service and atmosphere. Next time we are in Moose Jaw well definitely be back!

We are from Regina so decided to have a spa day today. My sister, my daughter and I stopped for lunch here today, the food was great...huge portions and very tasty! Our waitress was very nice, fast, friendly and efficient...highly recommend eating here!! 10/10 hands down!!

Fish and chips were very disappointing. Small portions for the price. Tablespoon of coleslaw. Husbands burger was ok but fries were soggy. Won t be back.

The bartender definitely elevated our experience. He is part of the family that owns the pub and had great stories to tell about the place and great local recommendations. We got the fish and chips, Yorkshire pudding and a shot called Dads cookie (I think). It was all delicious!

The food was amazing! We finally found a great place in Saskatchewan for real fish and chips!! The portions were perfect, even a bit for a midnight snack. The atmosphere was very Irish Pub, not washed out franchise pub. I cant wait to go back!

The place was super lively for a weekday as i visited on a Tuesday. The crowd was good, service was okay- some items were out of stock. The food in general was good and portion size was pretty decent. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting the town.

They have some of the best fish and chips. Light and crispy batter with flacky tender fish. Their gravy! Its made in restaurant from beef drippings. Its so good! The wait staff is always friendly.
