Philthy Philly's- Moose Jaw in Moose Jaw

My family ordered 3 medium sandwiches, and we wondered if we had received smalls for the price we spent. So the price is definitely the first issue with these! One sandwich was missing most of the veggies requested, and the other 2 were also lacking in that area. They definitely were sparse on the cheese on all of them, and the meat was definitely not the type of steak excepted like a Philly should be. I was impressed though that provolone was an option for cheese, but again, it was lacking. We ordered this instead of Subway, and we are sure Subway could have made a much tastier fresh sandwich for the same price as a foot long. They were also smooshed in the bag and the ingredients were pushed out of the bun. And lastly, the taste was mediocre at best! It was also delivered to the wrong address and the driver left it next door.

Love the Food, the Philly special burger and fries makes our day so special and service is too fast.

Great prices, fabulous food, and it was not greasy at all. Glad we gave it a shot and we plan to be back soon.

Delicious cheesesteak poutine!

First time coming in, wanted to try something new! The pulled pork poutine is incredible! Sweet and flavourful, gravy is tasty, cheese curds are perfect! The fries are nice and thick and dont get soggy fast which is great! The peppercorn steak poutine was OK. Gravy, cheese, and fries were tasty, but wasnt a fan of the steak itself. The flavour and texture wasnt quite what we were hoping for

Unbiased biased opinion but the food the smell the service everything was awesome as for the atmosphere loved it but it was too clean so not a bad thing but ya know.

Veg burger is the best veg option in town.

Ive been looking for a good peppercorn cheese steal sandwich and did they deliver! It was tasty and hot thru to the last bite. Walked in, they have a fun atmosphere and a large selection to their menu and everything was lookin well cleaned.

Great food!! Great stafff!! They offers an incredible dining experience with a variety of mouth-watering options. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly ,making my visit very enjoyable. I started with their famous cheesesteak, which certainly lived up to its reputation. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, while the steak was tender and flavorful, complemented by gooey, melted cheese. The handmade smash burger I tried was a standout as well, featuring a juicy patty cooked to perfection. The fresh toppings and soft bun made each bite delightful. The fries were an excellent side, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, seasoned perfectly to enhance their flavor. Next, I had a cookie and cream milkshake that was rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness with milk and real ice cream. It was beautifully presented with whipped cream and a crumbs on top.

Loved it. We brag to our bosses about it. It was delicious and filling and for the price it was decently priced especially for the taste you got and friendly service delivered right to my table they deserve 2 thumbs up and buy a milkshake you WONT regret it.

Very happy with our first visit. Staff was friendly and even brought food to table, although it took a little longer than expected for a simple dish. Would definitely go back to try again when we are back in Moose Jaw.

Extremely disappointing poutine. Dry fries, very few curds, and even less gravy. I had hoped that the gravy had all just pooled at the bottom but there was none there either. To add insult to injury, the italian sausage in the italian sausage poutine was no more than cut up hot dogs. If youre looking for poutine, even McDonalds and A&W would be a better choice.

How can you go wrong here. Choices and then more choices. Everything cooked made to order and served with a smile and thanks. Cheesesteaks are their specialty and you can order in 3sizes with a wide variety of toppings. Good as great and prices were reasonable. I would go back.

Everything here was insanely good! Seems like a little dine in but is one of the best places Ive eaten at in Moose Jaw. Cooked right in front of you and they do not skimp out on anything! Will absolutely come back again!

I was going to go to Subway when I noticed this place and thought I would try it out. Unlike Subway where your sandwich just gets toasted, you get freshly grilled veggies and meat. Ive always found a 12 inch sub too much and an 6 inch not quite enough. No problem at Philthy Phillys, they have an 8 inch. Will definitely be back the next time Im in Moose Jaw and am looking for a quick lunch.

I came here at 12am at night I thought they would probably be closed and we were really hungry and literally tried to leave but the employee Rajveer said its okay so we stayed and he cooked up some really good cheese steak and the cheesecake was awesome too !!!!! Hospitality 100% !!!!!!!!

We were looking for a quick place to stop and grab some food, so we came here and everything was amazing. The food was so good, highly recommend the poutine! The service was also great! The guys working were super friendly and even brought us our food! 100% recommend!

Friendly staff and good tasting food. Original menu items! Not particularly fancy inside, equivalent to a Subway. Only caveat is that its quite pricey for a fast food-style restaurant. Parking: Not lots of availability, might need to walk a couple blocks if busy. Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible.

Food wasn t bad, got the cheese steak sandwich poutin and pop x3, almost a 30 minute wait, wasn t what I expected, was very expensive for what you got, there was no kids meals and when I thought my order was up finnally the guy who ordered after me received his order, then I just sat there for another ten mins. I will try again on the deal days but 50 dollars for what I got was not worth it.

We ordered for the first time today, these sandwiches were AMAZING. I ordered the peppercorn steak sub & my husband had the Greek Freak. Honestly the best subs we have had in a while! We will be back FOR SURE. Staff were super nice, very understanding of it being our first time and taking the time to go through the options with us. Just amazing. Thanks for a great supper !

The cheesesteak my bf got was good. I got the chili poutine and was disappointed. There was possibly a tablespoon of chili. So first couple bite, no more chili. Find it kind of pricey for what we got.

My husband and I just saw the new restaurant opened downtown Moose Jaw across from Joe s Place. We ordered a poutine and shared a basic Philly steak and cheese. It was ok but everything was very salty which overroad the taste of the food. The service was fantastic and the prices were reasonable (their cheeseburgers cost less than a quarter pounder at McDonalds). I ll probably go back and try something else from their menu. Maybe they just had an off- night. I reached out to the manager and they responded to me immediately saying that we should talk to him if we return, so my husband and I tried their food again and talked to the manager. Not only did he give our meal for free but he personally made it. My husband ordered another poutine (with meat) and I had a cheeseburger. They nailed it! It was a excellent burger which reminded me of the burgers we used to have at Webers in Orillia, Ontario on hwy 11 (originally Paul Webers). It tasted like a homemade burger instead of a restaurant burger. The service, the price, and now the quality of food has made me change my 4 star to a 5 star. We will be going back again.

They have the best Buffalo Chicken Sandwich! It was very busy the night we went in, but they got everything out in a reasonable time! Excellent service.

My taste buds are delighted when a poutines gravy is delicious - Philthys gravy & real curds are Amazing!!

Actual heat in their sauces, every thing was great tasting. Philthy size is very satisfying and jalapeno poppers with ancho chipotle dipping sauce was an amazing appetizer!

I have been here 3 times in 2 weeks and each time I am happy. The Philly are delicious and the varieties are numerous. The poutines and chilli cheese fries are also great. I reccomend to check them out at least once. This has become my top 5 favorite places to each in MJ.

Read about this place on fb. Sropped on a whim and have to say I am pleasantly surprised. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Food is amazing. I had mac n cheese bites and cheesesteak sandwich. Granddaughter enjoyed a chicken poutine. Huge portions and very very tasty. Definitely recommend and will be returning again when in town.

We tried this franchise in Ontario and were very excited to see it come to Moose Jaw. This location did not disappoint. Great tasting food, good portion sizes. I highly recommend. The staff is new, so they can be a little slow, but since theyve opened, we have gone 4 times, and each time, theyre getting faster!

I have been forgetting for some time to write a review, and everytime I see these folks I feel horrible for it. Why? The food is good. Mouth watering good. Heart of downtown and they stood out! Food looked delicious and the staff was friendly! Vegetarian options: As simple as asking for the toppings you want. If they put it on, you asked for it. Dietary restrictions: Asked for no cheese and they rolled with that.

An easy to rate 5-star experience!! We wanted to try a bit of everything and what a menu to choose from.. The food was absolutely fantastic! From the Philly Cheesesteak with both the steak and bread brought in from Philadelphia (Jay gave us great information on the restaurant and ingredients), to their burgers, which we tried the Peppercorn Burger as well as the veggie Impossible Burger, to the most unreal loaded Meat Eater poutine! We also tried an order of Cauliflower Bites, Fries and then finished off with a Funnel Cake with chocolate chunks, cheesecake bites, french vanilla ice cream, and chocolate sauce, wow!! Now for the best part, the friendliness when you walk in the door and dialog begins with the staff. Meeting the owners Jay and Raj and getting their help navigating the mind blowing menu. It was seriously a dining experience our family won t forget! There was lots of whenever we re in Moose Jaw we have to come back comments.. Really wanted to like this place as I love Chessesteaks. When holidaying in Phoenix, I go the Arrowhead mall at least twice a month just for them. Whenever doing a stopover in Denver I have ran to their cheesesteak kiosk for one. We went during sidewalk days to Philthy Phils, disappointed. First, every cook had a beard, but none wore a beard net, I didnt want their beard in my food. Second, the bun wasnt fresh, tasted like a couple of days old, crunchy on the end. Third the steak tasted like warm roast beef. I found service quite slow but they were quite busy. So I was disappointed, I wont be back. Parking: Metered Street parking on Main Street.

Most excellent dude!

Had a pretty good sandwich here, the regular philly cheesesteak, loaded veggies, provalone and the regular sauce. It came out hot and wasnt a sloppy mess on a bun. Clean dining room with some music playing and one bathroom which was clean, but small. Its not a 5/5 star review for two reasons: 1: The food was maybe 10% too expensive; maybe Im out of touch with food prices these days, but its my review. 2: I think a 4 star review looks more real, like it shows its not a bot review with generic GrEaTeSt MeaL EvEr!!! This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is really good, i visited on sunday evening with my friend and we ordered Desi burger with fries which was so yummy i guess it was made by Harry, I really thank him to suggest me this amazing burger as i was looking for something in veg, and their prices it s 100% worth it. Lie about whats in your food, 0 integrity. Not ideal with food products. Eat elsewhere. Assume they pay for bots for google reviews. Nothing close to the positive reviews we read. Your welcome Nice try. You tried to charge us the same price for plain. Which is crazy. We suggested if anything you should offer something at a minimum for keeping us there for 20 mins or more. And offered to pay for the plain fries even as they were already done by that.time and we felt bad. You clearly di not. Your camera will confirm both. The sandwiches were amazing. Full of flavour, soft rolls, an explosion of flavour in every bite. A perfect spot for lunch. Large portions, I normally order a large meal but a medium sandwich was the perfect amount. Also, a fair price for what you get. Will return when in moose jaw again.

Peppercorn steak sandwich (loaded) was awesome, Philthy original poutine was very good and some chicken strips for the picky kid.

What an awesome little place! Poutine was fantastic and portions were huge. Loved that we had 3 sizes to choose from for the sandwich and got to pick our toppings. Hot, fresh and fast. Definitely will be a must go when we come to Moose Jaw again!

Good burger and GREAT poutine. I noticed something about the fries though: they cook them long so theyre crispy and dont get soggy from the gravy, BUT they cook them the same way if youre just getting fries, so the fries come out overcooked. They should consider cooking them different ways depending on what youre ordering.

We really wanted to love the filthy Phillies, but in the end, we left somewhat disappointed. The service from the staff of the restaurant is absolutely first rate. They try hard to take care of their customers, which we very much appreciate it. Our Philly cheesesteaks were just ok, perhaps a bit small, and a bit dry. We tried their fries as well, and the poutine was above average. This is your standard fast food restaurant, so the decor is as expected. We found the restaurant to be very comfortable and clean. Overall, despite their best efforts, the food at filthy, Philly s is just OK, and we probably would not return.

Fantastic food. Some of the best chicken for sandwiches Ive gotten in years. Very moist, soft but not undercooked. Good sauces, good toppings, good cheeses (so glad they have provolone). Service wise, couldnt be nicer. The nice man who works evenings/nights (We usually go around 11:30 when we go) there has remembered my wife and Is order by this point. Great place with great people.

Went there for the first time today. Got a cheesesteak sandwich and an original poutine for takeout. Taste was really good but the bread was really mushy but that could have been steamed from being in the wrapper too long. Everything was really good and I will go back again, but the poutine had almost no cheese in it, and for the cost, I expect more cheese, otherwise it was good. Service was great, really friendly and the place was nice and clean.

Great service! One of the only places open for late night snacks on the weekend, and we were not disappointed with the food or friendly service. Did not feel rushed, even though it was getting close to closing time. Will definitely return when back in Moose Jaw.

The vibe is amazing, the place is clean, the best thing is that the are open till 3am. Vegetarian options: They have pure veg options for which they use a separate grill.

Really good sandwiches!

Had one of their chicken sandwiches and it looked nothing like the picture on their menu. Small and not very crispy piece of chicken. Fries were very dry as well.

Excellent value for price. The portions were very generous. The staff also were very understanding that our son wanted to run around the store. Cant wait for our next trip so we can visit again!
