Rosie's on River Street in Moose Jaw

Crazy LOUD heavy metal music playing during our lunch! Server wasnt accommodating when we asked to adjust the volume.

We didnt anticipate the noise level of music being so loud. Maybe on us for not checking that out thoroughly. It was uncomfortably loud though. Some of the people at our table had to leave because they were getting a headache. Overall good food, especially the Saskatoon berry French toast.

This is probably the best burger I had ever. All the flavours were amazing, the meat was so juicy and tender. Service was quick and efficient and the decor is amazing. A must go in Moose Jaw.

Food options were limited but very good. Staff seemed to want to rush you out. Id hate to do a bad review based on a staff member but... leaving open tables seemed like a bigger option then the tables that were there. Dip options on the platters seemed to be more concerned about freshness then taste. They werent matched well with the app options :(

We loved this stop on our road trip! Food was amazing, their beer so good and Jenna took such good care of us. Friendly, accommodating and prompt. Can t say enough about this place. My husband and I were there over the weekend, right during the lunch rush. We were blown away. The service was amazing, our server was fantastic. THE FOOD was one of the best places I have been too. We will be back for sure!! Thanks Rosies!!

Went here for an impromptu lunch and was not disappointed! Very tasty food, good flavours. Had the Rosies Mac which was almost cooked to perfection! My wife had a nice berry salad which was also quite good!

I dare say the Coconut Shrimp PO on the poppy seed bun is the best sandwich I ve ever eaten! My new absolute favourite! Portions were great & service was fantastic! A must visit if you re ever in Moose Jaw!

Such a cool place with AMAZING food. I had the absolute BEST beef dip I have ever had in my life!! My husbands burger was delicious and even my super picky MiL LOVED her meal. Absolutely 10/5 meal!! We will be coming back many times so worth the 2 hour drive!

Terrific little pub/restaurant. Unique food items. Caters to local craft beers and spirits.

The waiter, a small calves individual, was rude, which detracted from the experience. Despite this, the food was good.

My dorito burgarito was delicious. It was my first time, but it will not be my last. Wish it were a bit larger.

I couldnt stop staring at the walls. Its SO Much sports memorabilia. Its a small and cozy place. However I found the bar stools to be very uncomfortable as there wasnt a foot rest. Nonetheless Ill go back if Im in the area again. I ordered the Burger of The Week with Lager Chips (similar to kettle cooked potato chips) and a light Lager beer. Food is good but I did find the service a bit slow! I also was a bit confused on where to park.

I love it. Mckenna was the waitress. What a beautiful afternoon lunch on the deck outside, on a beautiful sunny day. The food was delicious with every bit. The French fries I enjoyed the best shoestring. mmmm. If youre ever in Moose Jaw, I urge you to go to rosies on River Street.Youll enjoy it.

I went out to dinner here to break up with my ex when I broke up with her my wallet was on the table. She took my wallet and said youre not leaving this restaurant. I didnt want to make a scene so I got up and I left. This has nothing to do with the restaurant itself but the problem that I get here is that the server saw this. His name was James, same with the manager Lindsay and they saw her use my wallet to pay for a $300 bill that she racked up with the waiter and the manager using a stolen wallet which was mine. They knew that the wallet was mine because its after paying with my wallet. She left the wallet on the table for me to go get the next day. Lindsay, the manager confirming she had no money to pay so I asked you allowed her to use somebody elses wallet and then left the wallet on the table and didnt report this way the waiter James come to find out. Got drinks himself using my credit card with Lindsays. Knowing these are not nice people that work here I would definitely never come back or recommend

McKenna you are amazing! Was out on a date with my (King ) and we laughed and joked with her. Love that she got that we were definitely out to have a good fun time and she hyped it right up. She made sure (the Queen ) was treated right. She gave us amazing recommendations from the food and drink menu and not one thing was a disappointment. The atmosphere of Rosie s was amazing, From decor to food to patrons. Can t believe I have been to MJ so many times and have never been here. Will be back for sure!

Went to check out the mineral pool but first decided to have lunch at browns social house. But instead choose Rosies, we were not disappointed, amazing lunch ( I had the shrimp poboy and my husband had the rueban ) great food , awesome service . In side was packed but we sat out on deck and we werent disappointed. We will definitely be back for another day trip .

Great food and service. The inside was cozy and we sat outside in the patio. Beers were great, especially the craft selection. Birger were excellent. Price was fair and would visit again in Moose Jaw. P.S. park on the main street and walk in, much easier than looking for a spot right near the entrance.

Amazing Cuban sandwich and super friendly service

The most amazing Crispy chicken burger, with buffalo sauce on a side. I never finish my plate but this time I even ordered dessert, a delicious bacon pecan pie which was majestic. Great ambiance, awesome food, great service. Loved it! Sorry, didn t take pictures, I was enjoying my food.

Amazing food and atmosphere. We sat on the patio with our dog and had a great time. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly! The food was so good!! We all left happy and satisfied. If youre visiting MJ, definitely stop in here for food. We got the PB pickle burger, a Greek wrap, blue cheese burger & bacon burger. We had fries, yam fries, and tater tots with them. Everything was phenomenal.

Was in Moose Jaw one day and decided to try something local for lunch. A coworker suggested @rosiesonriver so I figured I would give them a try. I ordered the Mike s Chicken Wrap with a side of sweet potato fries with sriracha mayo. The wrap was really fresh tasting and well put together. I wanted something light while filling and this hit the mark. I was able to eat everything without feeling overwhelmed. The chicken was moist and the vegetables were fresh. The fries were crispy and to die for. I will admit, sriracha mayo isn t my favourite as I find it sweeter than chipotle mayo. But I can see why other people like it. I am very eager to return here as they had a VERY interesting menu. Quite literally I want to try alllll of their burgers. I m talking burgers with peanuts butter, pickles, sweet Chili heat chips, pineapples, banana peppers or perogies .to name a few. Not to mention their staff were really nice, inviting and attentive. Can t wait to return !

Great service with generous and tasty portions. We were staying over night on our way back home and would highly recommend if you love or crave pub food. Wish I had room to sample the bacon wrapped tater tots. Next time I guess.

One of the owners was our server. He said they were known for burgers and so we took the bait and ordered burgers. We were not disappointed! My Bacon and Cheddar was amazing and my husband had the Dorito Burgarito. He didn t speak through dinner, as his mouth was always full! A great stop, had a great beer list, great service, and a really cool atmosphere. Would definitely go again if we were passing through! Parking: We were unaware, not being from here, that we could have parked in the permit only lot. Just can t park overnight. It took a couple laps around the block (construction happening) to figure out our plan so don t give up, park somewhere and walk. Totally worth it.

Rosies is the place to eat your new go to burger. I had the Bacon Cheddar burger and my friend had the PB and Dill Pickle. They were both so amazing!!!! Anytime I eat a burger it has to be a Rosies burger!!!

Was here last year with my husband, my niece and her kids. Best burgers and fries in town. The combos are so big, you can share them.

I went to the place and enjoyed a good local beer . It was good, the atmosphere inside is kind of stretchy, outside is better, staff is awesome (the go far and beyond).

It is a small little place and it was very busy which speaks to the great food and service. We will definitely make this a stop the next time we are in Moose Jaw. We attempted to get in on Saturday night. No such luck(place was packed to the rafters)... But Im still giving it a 5 across the board. Fav place in MJ by far, never had a bad meal, and service is great!! Every time we are in town we try and go!

My husband and I came here for a date night and it did not disappoint! The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. My husband and I both got burgers and I was not disappointed with the taste or proportions. The bacon wrapped tater tots were a great starter! Something to note is the restaurant is small and cozy in the inside so it would not be the best pick for a large party of people, but for 2-4 people it is a great spot!

Fairly small inside, but has an outdoor patio. Clean restaurant, charming sports bar atmosphere, attentive wait-persons! Lunch was delicious & filling! Busy & full tables, relatively short wait for table & food. Wish the space inside was a little more spacious. Parking: No parking allowed in that area of the street, have to park on another street & walk over.

This is a wonderful pub!! The music was on point. The food was excellent. Our server was very friendly and did a great job. It s a very small place so you might not be able to just wander on in but if you can get a seat it s well worth the time to go check. We re looking forward to going back.

Great place to meet a few friends for a great lunch in moose jaw

Had lunch at Rosies. I enjoyed my Reuben sandwich with lager chips and hubby had a wrap with French onion soup. Good service. Small restaurant which makes it noisy.

Great menu with lots of different burgers and sandwiches to try. We had the fish tacos and one of the burgers- both were excellent. Portions are good, and service was great- look forward to going back.

I had one of the best burgers I have had in a long time!! Atmosphere and service were off the charts - if you have not been to this little treasure before you would be well to travel to Moose Jaw to give it a go - we did! Parking: Because of its location you may need to park the block over and walk back !

One of the better places to chill out in moose jaw.

Me an my mom stoped in for dinner well travelling! This is a small but mighty place to eat!! The portions are big so go hungry leave very full! The atmosphere, staff, food and drinks are amazing! Definitely 100% would recommend this to anyone coming through Moose Jaw! 10/10 for everything just awesome!

4.5/5 We had wanted to sit inside but there wasn t a table for us. So we didn t really get to see what the atmosphere of the inside was like. The patio was nice too though. Drinks were delicious and the food was tasty. The Saskatchewan Sangria especially was a hit. Very sweet and lots of berries. Our server was great and made sure we had lots of water for a hot day.

Wanted something that I didnt get back home and a place that wasnt a big chain restaurant was not disappointed when going here I highly suggest anybody in Moosejaw visiting to check it out.

Went in for takeout. Friendly atmosphere right from the greeting. Love the pun atmosphere. Reminds me of a place in Regina I worked at. Food was the perfect portion and absolutely delicious. Ordered ther perogie burger. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in or going through Moose Jaw.

We were hoping to come here the last time we were in moose jaw but were unable to, we made sure to visit this time. The staff were extremely good, no issues despite how busy it seemed. The inside is covered with moose jaw history, hockey photos, ticket stubs, various 8 track on the wall, you could visit every day of the week, and you would notice something new each time. The food was absolutely delicious. the only thing I was saddened about was I was too full for their dessert, which sounded mind-blowing. This is a definite spot to come when needing good food and atmosphere for a decent price.

Typical bar type experience. Limited selection of drinks, pub style food. We ordered the small appy platter which included: 2 breaded dill pickle spears, 4 bacon wrapped tater tots, 3 chicken strips, a handful of breaded boneless ribs and chose the beer chips for our option. Beer chips were nice, not any real seasoning or flavor to them but of all of it they were the best. Dill Pickle spears were made with too thin a spear so the first time it got dipped in sauce the pickle fell out. Disappointing. Asked for a margarita but was told they dont make them. Unhappy. Got ketchup with 3 dipping sauces. All in all it was a shareable dish for the two of us. Hubby had 2 beers and with my one beverage bill plus tip came to almost $60. Overall the reviews sounded amazing but all in all our experience was no mire than a 2/5. Server was good but didnt even get a name so that definitely did not personalize our visit. Not likely to go again.

A must-try is the BlackBerry Whiskey Paralyzer, it is amazing! The food is great too! The burgers have a hand-made patty, theyre so good! The reuben is good, but the chicken bacon ranch sandwich is absolutely delicious!

Was in moose jaw for the day and had heard good things about the food and atmosphere. Meals were large and very tasty and there was lots of neat stuff on the walls.

We sat outside so they dont have control over the wasps which were a bit of an issue. Still enjoyed our meals.

We were just stopping by on our way to Banff Alberta and what a delightful place! Lindsay the waitress is excellent! I am gluten free and I loved my meal! Highly recommend.

We were visiting Moosejaw and this place was recommended to us by many locals. We are glad we tried this place out. Probably one of the best nachos we ve ever had! We always have problems with nachos not being cheesy enough. The nachos here is almost too cheesy (It was actually perfect). Also one of the best caesars i ve had in a while! Service and atmosphere is great! Highly recommend this place!
