Its our 4th visit in this restaurant and twice being served by Jin and as always, it was an excellent service, wonderful food and experience.

The sushi is soooo good! Great service and atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

Probably some of the best sushi Ive ever had we had 5 different kinds of nigiri and a tiger roll the fish was extremely fresh and really really good quality by far the best quality fish ive had in Saskatchewan they also gave us 2 pieces of seared tuna belly for free!

We finally had a chance to try himieari sushi in Moose Jaw. Tempura, karage, korokke, many rolls and nigiri. All in all this is the best sushi we have had in Saskatchewan.

Truly the best sushi place in Moose Jaw, Beautiful cherry blossoms and anime figurines. A wide variety of menu options, the green tea is truly amazing. They have excellent service and the waiters are very nice, But they did charge a change fee if you want to alter the meal 1$ per change food is a little bit on the pricey side but if your able to look past that it s a pretty nice place

HIMAWARI has been my friends and I s go-to restaurant since last year! I love their chicken karaage. Their staff, Harri, was so nice and sweet and she accommodated us very well.

Clearly THE BEST in Saskatchewan Youd have to go to Vancouver or Toronto to get this quality of food and presentation..TRULY delicious , if you havent been here ,,your missing out on a great quality place ..which I will repeat ..Youd have to go West or East before find this ... 5 Star with the Red Carpet !!!

This is a fantastic Japanese and Korean restaurant. We had a number of different maki and rolls and loved all of them. Saskatoon has a number of sushi restaurants but only one of them maybe compares to how good Himawari is. The only thing I hope is they add non-alcoholic beer options; otherwise, this place was fantastic!

From the upcoming street festival in the city, on the street food court, it would be a fantastic idea to sell some Korean bulgogi sauce for barbacued hot dogs & hamburgers because they are familiar and comfort food for these local people. This will not only attract attention but also advertise your restaurant to small town citizens in a delicious and memorable way. Parking: Weekdays after 5pm / weekends whole day free parking in the city. Kid-friendliness: Please teach the manners in the public area before you come out with your kids.

Amazing little hidden gem in moosejaw! Delicious sushi, takoyaki and monkey brains appetizer! Good portions, great variety and reasonably priced. Adorable faux cherry blossom trees throughout the restaurant. Will be back every time we visit MJ!

My family and I have been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. The food here is delicious as well as presented beautifully. The servers have always been very polite and attentive. My favorite restaurant in Moose Jaw.

Servers are the best. Really accommodating. Even though shes busy with the orders. She took time to help us take our photos. Everyone loved the food and the place. I ordered the spicy noodles. Was expecting a homemade noodles but had the noodles like in an instant noodle packet. Just like buying instant noodles and putting some veggies on it. All in all a great time. Awesome job by the Servers.

Best Japanese dining experience in this side of the prairies, Not pricey and the servings are lots. Service also has warm greetings and hospitality. I ordered the donburi and Did not expect it to be lots and the slices were huge. Will definitely come back!

Visited on February 24, 2024 with relatives for supper. Easy street parking. Quick to be seated despite being a walk-in for a party of 7 people. Great food. Reasonable price with good portion size. Only downside was they never checked on us until it was time to pay. We had to ask if we can have our glasses refilled with water. Other than that, Himawari is a reasonable stopover for lunch and supper in Moose Jaw.

The food was delicious. Nice and clean environment. The lady was great with refilling drinks. It was a very quiet evening when we were in. Good menu size.

This is the best Sushi I have had in a long time

Hands down one of the best places I have eaten at in Moose Jaw. Diverse menu, the highest quality food that easy competes with West Coast cuisine and the kindest, freindliest staff there. Young man that was our server was knowledgable, friendly and promt with eevrything. Food was a 10 out of 10 across the board. Ill definately be back on my next visit to Moose Jaw.

We went for dinner for our sons Birthday. It was a bigger group of people and food came out in a time and was super hot!! Everything was delicious and service was fantastic!! Young gentleman was our server and he was super! A few of us were first timers there and we will be back to try more options!! Prices are very reasonable considering quality and quantity of food!! The food is really exceptional. Very fresh and very flavourful. The restaurant is a very pleasant venue. The service was regrettably poor! It wasnt even busy. We had to ask again to get our drinks and they were never refilled. One of the main food dishes came out before the appetizer and before our drinks even! Nobody came back to check on us. Very bitter taste from the service but the food quality is great and enjoyable!

We went last Friday with our kids (16, 13). The food was very good and came out quickly. The service was pretty good, our waitress was friendly and made some recommendations which were great. The atmosphere was nice. The only thing I might change would be the lighting. It was quite bright in the restaurant, could be just my family but we all thought that the lights could be dimmed to give it a little nicer ambiance. Other than that, no complaints!!

Food was amazing, but when my friend and I phoned in to place the order, we were told it was going to be 45 minutes to an hour for 3 rolls, which we asked them to confirm with the Sushi Chef. We also heard the person on the phone say something along the lines of Im pretty sure its that B**ch on the phone. when they asked about the wait time. Otherwise the experience was fine, but the person that answered the phone needs to learn to be more respectful when talking to people, as well as be more mindful of what they say. Not the first issue Ive had with this individual. The rest of the staff however, are amazing!

Had a dinner date yesterday at Himawari and had an amazing experience! Our server s name was Brittnee and she was excellent! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and gave us good recommendations. Not only that but the food was fantastic! So delicious, I normally have a small appetite but I couldn t leave a single bite on the plate, I just had to eat it all. Everything from the atmosphere, the service and food was great! Not to mention the prices are really good especially for the amount of food you get! I Highly recommend!

It s been a while since I met Korean Dolsot Bibimbam!! Very satisfied^^ Osam bulgogi and bulgogi are also plentiful and taste impressive! The pork cutlet is also crispy and delicious. The fried cheesecake I had for dessert was Good!! Its friendly, spacious, and added to the restaurant list!

Saying they re mediocre is an overstatement. It was the least tasty but most expensive sushi dinner we ve ever had. Service was terrible. With the price they re charging we expect not only friendly server but someone who knows what they re doing. Honestly, disappointed. We were tricked by the high review score.

We have had sushi all across Western Canada and this was the best. Service was great, atmosphere was welcoming & the food delicious! We have come here so many times, our favorite restaurant in town.

First time we went was shortly after opening. Food was great but service(server specifically)was lacking, could tell she was newer and unsure what she was doing. We sat at the bar and even though it was busy the chef didnt hesitate to chat with us or answer any questions we had and even recommend things based on what we where asking about. Went again about a month or so later and still great food and service was much better. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for some great sushi.

I went there for the first time today, and the first impression was that it was clean and well organized. Also, the owner and staff were very kind, and I ate Korean food and it was really delicious.

My husband and I went in with our little guy over this last weekend and it did not disappoint. They were so accommodating for our little boy who is still figuring out solid food and they seemed more than happy to help get him something he could eat too. Food was amazing and service was awesome. Our server seemed to know just the right times to come check on us. Nothing more awkward than trying to answer a question with a mouth full of food. Lol Atmosphere was great and overall we had a great time. I dont have a single negative thing to say. Will definitely be back next time we are in Moose Jaw!

Went there for lunch yesterday and had the Karaagare chicken and spicy gyoza. It was amazing! Our server was on top of everything and ensuring we were looked after.

Went here last week with a couple of friends and holy moly, the food was heavenly! We had the spicy chicken and it was delicious. The sushi is very fresh, and for what it is, it is very decently priced. Will visit again!

My boyfriend and I decided to give this new restaurant a try, we had heard good things so went there for supper. Menu is large and many options, both Japanese and Korean food. Service was excellent. Food was so much faster than expected! The food was amazing, safe to say this is my new favourite restaurant in moose jaw. The Bibimbap bowl was to die for. The dragon roll and Philadelphia roll was so good and fresh. Shrimp tempura was hot and crispy and miso soup was delicious. We got all this food and shared it between the two of us. The entire bill was about 60 bucks which I think is a fair price for the amount of food that we got. So glad to have a new, QUALITY restaurant in moose jaw. Highly recommend.
