Great experience at this Tim’s today.. they actually filled the cups unlike the other Tim Hortons in mount pearl. Tea and coffee was actually fresh and didn’t taste like bog and the young man at the drive through window was super sweet and kind.
One star. Not because of the staff, perfectly fine. Not because of the food, perfectly fine. It’s due to the half assed implementation of ‘tech’. If I have spent ten minutes putting an order in on your magic telly it had better work. Getting to the end and having only a gift card as payment option is not acceptable. Corporations looking to increase profitability by implementing auto kiosks need to learn how to test properly. Some one dropped the ball Tims. I’m looking at you too Westjet.
Do not use the kiosks to place a take out order, they will NOT start preparing it until you complain. They then say they called out your name but only then begin making your order. Employees shouldn't try to gaslight customers. This was for a simple coffee order. Would only recommend the drive-thru at this location
you are standing still to order something for yourself and they are wandering around and not paying attention to you, they are very busy))))))) although you can see them in the kitchen a man of 6-7 I'm just pissed off by this service, the coffee is also of the worst quality. better make coffee at home and don't go to this grocery store

Any time I go to this Tim’s location, I’m always met with slow wait times and as someone who’s worked in fast food for many years, I know things happen, however part of the reason this location is always slow is because staff are always using their phones on the floor instead of tending to a long line of customers. This Tim Hortons/Wendy’s is very dirty as well, every time I bring my child in, we have a very difficult time finding anywhere clean to sit, on either side of the lobby. I also don’t understand why they have this sign up but don’t actually collect customer information in store, especially considering MP being a hot spot for Covid 19 earlier this year, including this establishment. It’s almost as if this restaurant isn’t taking the pandemic very seriously. Bouncing back to my cleanliness comment, you would think this location would be a lot cleaner and the cleanliness be taken more seriously when this store has had covid positive patrons in the past.

Attempted to order a small watermelon quencher and some Tim bits only to be told they don t have time bits, or any donut other then a Boston cream. Muffins were even worse with the only option being blueberry. Ended up leaving and going to another location that actually has products.

Food is good as always, but the place looks like it hasnt been cleaned in week.
I bought a large ice coffee for $2.99 plus tax (I always get less ice, no sweetener), a large coffee is $2.10 for comparison. I asked for light ice and when they handed me my ordered, my large ice coffee was not filled (about 1/5 from the top). I asked if they could please fill it up as as I pay more than a regular coffee (which doesnt make sense in the first place) they replied No, that is how they are filled when you ask for less ice
A fairly clean establishment with a variety of food and beverage options. The outside of the restaurant shares a parking lot with the gas station and is downhill from Kent Building Supplies, which makes for a dirty lot. Other than the untidy lot, the interior is clean and the staff are friendly. As always, waiting in line is more quick and efficient than going through the drive thru as there are typically delays - especially on the weekends.
Edit: Its been 2yrs, since last update. There has been a slight improvement,.but many areas still remain problematic. Today, at 8am, I was told there were no eggs! How can that be possible? Is there no management to oversee daily operations? The common theme for these places is to have eight employees serving one customer in the drive-thru, while only have 1 person serving dine-in guests, doordash, skip, mobile pickup, mobile delivery, kiosk, *while* training a new person. Cross train staff and stress the importance of team work and initiative. They also dont actually serve dark roast either or is very inconsistent. If it needs to be brewed, please tell the customer it needs to be brewed. It shouldnt even get to that point because POLICY and ADVERTISING say its brewed FRESH every 20 minutes. Dont go serving regular roast or half reg and half dark or half tea and half coffee. Maybe they want to replace it with regular roast and a shot of espresso. By making decisions on behalf of customers, you miss out on potential upsell.
Restaurants 24/7 but doesnt stock donuts regularly only bakes donuts once per day and once an item is sold out its sold out for rest of the day. Such poor service your a bake shop thats open 24 hours you should be baking regularly. especially donuts like the dream and the new retro donuts that are heavily advertised
Lack ingredients of for wrap at dinner time. One of the employees cleaned the floor and rug when I was eating. And even came to clean under my table, I could feel the dust on the floor and salt on the rug flying in the air.
Its Tim Hortons, its what you would expect, dont expect 5 Start food and 5star services.
Yet another disaster. 5 people running the drive thru. One poor sap left to do the in house orders. Clearly not well trained but did his best. He personally asked the kid making sandwiches to put real cheese on as ordered, nope. Ordered tea, got coffee. Management is none existent.

I went to this Tim Hortons location (Ruth Ave & Old Placenta Rd) Every other Tim Hortons does a cravable combo. The guy on the drive thru said they have a deal with Wendys preventing them from selling cravable combos so it would cost $14+ bucks so I went down the road (Richard Nolan Dr & Old Placenta) ordered the same Cravable combo and it came to $8.61 Avoid the location at Ruth & Old Placenta - The deal they have with Wendys is basically rip off your customers. Ridiculous! Well that Tims location or Wendys next door to it will never get my business if thats the attitude theyre taking!! On a side note, they dont serve breakfast sandwiches after 4pm as other locations do.

Me and my sister went to Tim s there was a car infront of us, and one in the other lane. Nobody inside, just 3 cars in the drive thru. We Waited 20 mins. Car infront of us drove up to the window and knocked on it, waited 5 mins then left. The other car honked and so did we, nothing, me and sister drove up and not a person to be seen. Nothing against the woman who works everymorning and makes my day everytime, she s always so nice. But if your not gonna do your job and have people wait 20-30 mins then quit
So I ordered a skip order I m normally pretty easy going when it comes to messed up orders. I m thinking the girl working was new so I m not mad or upset with her. But my whole sandwich was missing my drink was a strawberry Oreo creamy chill I received a strawberry one I understand that they ran out of product but an update letting me know that would have been nice and their was no receipt on my bag for proof of purchase. I was offered a full refund and a free sandwich on the phone but when I got up there they said they couldn t do anything about it. Wich I know isn t always the case. Again no shade to the new girl but the other guy working was the one talking. I m also pregnant and having to walk all the way up there in the rain for my meal was ridiculous lol. The sandwich tasted good tho once I got it.

Food is hit and miss with this place. Wraps and sandwiches are often poorly made and swimming in ranch sauce. Personally I also believe their breaded chicken is over spiced as it can leave a horrendous after taste if not washed down with a mouth full if ranch sauce or mayo. Their drinks are good, but 7/10 times the food is not worth the price you pay for it. Their drive through has a major problem though. Drivers using it frequently pile up on the Old Placentia Rd side, pouring out onto the main road. They obstructing traffic and actually completely ignore the second drive through lane. While I firmly believe that is impossible to teach the public common sense these days, the store should put some effort into discouraging this. At least put a sign up. A double double isnt worth blocking the main road in Mount Pearl and causing an accident.

I always order through the app and receive my food without any issue but this morning they made the biggest mistake Ive ever experienced. They just straight up forgot my breakfast wrap and gave me a small iced cap even though i ordered a large. It s really unfortunate that when i order through the app i cant choose which place i want to order from, because this is the last place i would choose, it has the worst reviews on skip, doordash and google and now i know why.
You know the manager isnt in the store when... The lines werent coordinated in any way, there was just a confused crowd of customers not sure where to go. We ordered coffee and donuts, the server asked if we want a hash brown with that. I think thats being on autopilot a bit too much. Another customer had to point out where our drinks were because he put them where no drinks should usually be. Then we still have to wait on food. He puts a chocolate croissant in a bag and the cinnamon roll in another bag. Fine. He then grabs another croissant and puts it in the cinnamon roll bag. There other bag disappears. More bad trips here than good.

It just does not get better. 15-20min wait times, check your orders and ask for receipt. This has to be the slowest Tim Horton franchise in the country! On a positive note, they are great at saying, Sorry.

There is a language barrier between the drive through associate and the customer my order has been messed up 3 days in a row and today I was charged for a delivery order that was already paid through the app and then my order was wrong I paid over double what my order should have been Ive call head office 2 days in a row and asked for someone to call me concerning my complaints Ive still havent been contacted by managers of both stores or head office this is not satisfactory and ridiculous

Pretty bad when a premixed drink cant be made right. Ordered a frozen lemonade and iced coffee with both being tasteless. Everytime there is an issue. I guess its my own fault that I keep going back
I give Tim Hortons for stairs now dont get me wrong Tim Hortons is great its the tops on the cups theyre awful go back to the other ones theres a mess on them the whole time youre drinking your tea not much of a problem to fix
I decided to try one of the lunch bowls that I had seen on TV. They looked amazing, so I figured they would be great. What a disappointment! They looked beautiful with nice, crisp, colourful veggies, beans and couscous. I was delighted. Until I took my first bite and discovered the disgusting texture of the crispy coated chicken. It was like biting into rubber rolled in broken glass. I have a serious aversion to chicken that obviously has a bunch of rubbery connective tissue attached to it. It wasnt nice, white breast meat that you would expect to be contained in a meal tgat costs more than $10.00 - this was indescribably disgusting, so chewy and grizzly that I had to spit it all out. I couldnt take another bite, as I had completely lost my appetite. That will be my last lunch at Tims. I dont know if this was one franchise cutting corners on their meat purchases, or a problem with all Tims, but I wont take another chance. I will stick to coffee from now on. Yuck! :-(

This location is always out of something. Tonight it was bread. A few weeks ago it was Chilli. But nothing beats the time they were out of eggs at 9am on Saturday. Service is also very slow. Worse Tims location ever

They care more about their drive through customers more than the customers that actually come into the establishment. They have one person serving mobile and eat in orders, 4 serving drive through. 3 people in line and a wait time of 20mins to be served. Needs better morning management.

Asked for 3 chocolate dipped doughnuts and a double double coffee. The kid who served me threw all the doughnuts top down into a bag, so all the chocolate on the doughnuts stuck to the bag and peeled off. And my double double had zero sugar in it. Wont be back.
The employees are always rushing you through the drive thru, they rush the food making which often ends up in mistakes. I ve been waiting over a month to write this review in the hopes that things would change, but it never does. I get workers being motivated to have good drive thru times and everything, but when I don t have a chance to put my wallet away after using tap before they re essentially throwing my order at me and rushing me to take it from them is a bit much. They don t stir the coffee, they literally throw the sandwiches together which ends up with the cheese slice half off the sandwich, and today I ordered a bacon and egg English muffin and I got half English muffin half stale biscuit. It s ridiculous. I know, first world problems, but cmon. Y all can do better. Stop rushing everyone through your drive thru so you can say you re efficient, slow it down when your speaking so we can understand what you re saying (I understand accents with no trouble, but they don t really annunciate their words because they re in such a rush), and have a bit of a personal touch. Say good morning, say something nice as your greeting. Not HiTimHortGoHeaOrder....
I normally dont post anything negative, but I was just there this morning, first time in a long time, and it hasnt changed....I asked for a cafe mocha, tea double double, and an egg belt on a four cheese bagel, my husband slowed down 3 times to tell him at the speaker what his order was, and still got it wrong, and when we got it, it wasnt fit, I got burnt coffee, husband got watered down tea, no sugar and milk in it, not cream(and trust me when I say he knows the difference) and I got just egg and cheese, not a belt, on very burnt bagel that I couldnt eat, what I mean it was black on the in side, and so dried up on the out side it was hard as a rock..... so I just paid for breakfast I couldnt eat or drink, not to mention so impatient.....You know you can see this happens once in awhile, stuff happens, but this has been like it every time we have went there, I am so done with this tims.
Spent 8 min in drive through cars didn t move so I go inside and I am the only customer in line wait over 5 min as they were serving skip the dishes. Step up to the till to order only to be told to wait as a staff member from the kitchen came out to put in an order. Don t usually write reviews but where has customer service gone?

Worst location Ive been. Dont plan on ordering ahead because they wait until you arrive and tell them and only after theyve served everyone else. Thats 20 minutes for a freaking coffee that takes 15 seconds. EVERYTIME! Defeats the whole purpose of mobile ordering.
The wait time is atrocious and they cant seem to adjust, even after paying penalties to its delivery drivers.

Slowest Tims service for dine in that ive ever experianced. This has been the case over multiple visits. Managment needs to overhaul the staff and their priorities to better serve their customers. Ill be avoiding this location in the future.

The service was extremely slow today. There were very few in line. There were lots of workers but those actually taking the orders were painstakingly slow. I am thinking the online orders app orders and kiosk orders were causing the backlog. Once I placed my order and received it, it was good. I almost went out to my car to go through drive through which was much quicker. I waited in line 12 minutes for 2 donuts.

Every single time I order a coffee it is made wrong. Its a complete waste of time and gas these days to get a coffee made right. In the new year I along with all of my coworkers are going to take our orders to either Robins or McDonalds where our beverages are made correctly and customer service is polite.
