Always have consistent experience here. Food is good, staff are friendly and you know what you are getting. Remains one of my favorite pizza plafes when I need to grab a slice in a hurry.
Hardest pizza of my life if u want to check durability of your teeth’s and if you can digest pizza made of marbel you can go to this store.
Worst pizza of my life.I ordered a chicken pizza with butter chicken sauce yesterday and Overall the girl at front was very polite and kind , but i felt like they used cement in their dough. I think they should provide free dental insurance or iron teeth to their customers to help them to eat the pizza.

I have ordered from here several times in recent months. The pizza is usually the really good, though pricey. The amount of fresh toppings is probably the best attribute. Do not order anything else though, over priced and not the best. Food court Greek spots are better. Fries are not good, at most 2 stars out of 5 and their Souvlaki is lacking for sure. I think this place was better back in the day overall and I don't think I'll be going there anymore due to the price vs quantity/ quality. FYI; 2 medium pizzas was 60$ when I had to order a separate vegetarian pizza for my GF. 2 Souvlaki's and fries was 40$ and really not worth it. I
If you haven't tried the pizza at Acropolis, you really haven't had a great pizza! We were visiting the St. John's area for the boys' Baseball Canada 18U National Championship games and wanted to try some of the local restaurants. This was by far the best pizza ever! The toppings are more than generous, crust was cooked to perfection, and the staff are great. Before our pizza was ready, people were coming in for 2 slices of pizza. I was thinking to myself, how are they going to fill up on 2 slices?? Well, they can. Two slices of a small pizza were enough to fill me up. If there were more 🌟 to give, they would definitely get them. It is definitely worth the money!
Ordered nachos with half meat half vegetarian and recieved nachos full of meat. I was so upset because I couldn't share the nachos with my brother during the hockey game. After the driver drove off, I started trying to pick off some of the meat to see what I could scavenge. Minutes later, the driver returns, apologies, and gives us the right nachos, letting us keep the wrong ones!! My brother instantly recognized him as a driver that had delivered to our house before that my brother had invited in to watch the last minute of a game. I wish I had gotten his name, he was so great and provided awesome service. Thank you mystery delivery driver!!!<3
This place just hits the spot every single time. Every single time should be described as post bar and late night eats. The single slice late night pizza is damn good and the value is also amazing. I got one bacon, pepperoni, and cheese slice that is essentially two giant slices for $6.50. it is served in a small pizza box because it is so large. If you have a fat soul, you will be happy af finished both slices. Otherwise, just eat one slice and save the other half for tmrw. The pizza is covered in giant pepperoni slices. When I say covered, I mean every single inch of that pizza, below the main crust, is covered in pepperoni. I lifted this to check. Then the pepperoni is completely covered in cheese. Finally, the slices of bacon. The bacon is sparse at times but that is the only fault I can give this pizza. Service is quick. Pizza is hot. Crust is the perfect chew and crunch. I always get this when I am in the area. I can only imagine losing my mind if I get the pizza fresh from this establishment.
Delicious. The cesar salad at this place steals the show! Staff is friendly, it can get a bit pricey for dinner but ask about their combos and you can get a good deal that way. Also the lunch specials are excellent. Would recommend!

Only pizza place I know of that consistently has good slices! I deplore doughy pizza and that seems to be the norm everywhere...but Acropolis is the exception! Only place I can order from these days.
Great pizza, poor service
Pizza is usually great, fast service normally. This time I decided to order a super donair. $16.00 quite pricey actually. Asked what happened to the donair that used to come with pepperoni. Was told it s no longer an item on the menu but I can add pepperoni for $1.49 so I did this. Guess what. I got 2 slices of pepperoni in total on my donair. I paid $1.49 for 2 slices of pepperoni. Absolutely awful. With the old donair I used to get 6-8 slices of pepperoni or more. But now it s just awful. This is definitely the go to place for pizza and poutines but be warned about the donair if you pay to add pepperoni. Would not recommend this at all. So sad they changed the menu.
Put it this way you wont get pizza cheaper anywhere else. That lunch special is unbeatable.

Not my favorite pizza but it s one of the few places in delivery rage for Goulds. So it s nice to not have to leave all the time. The pizza however is very mediocre at best. It s the sauce that tastes very cheap and acidic.

Best Donairs in the West end
Okay pizza, not the best around but definitely not the worst I find their sauce a bit too sweet for my liking but if thats what youre into youll love it. A touch expensive but thats on par with just about everything now days unfortunately. Customer service is good and so is the atmosphere so long as you dont get there while the high school across the road is out for lunch. When thats the case its best to just stay away as its like a circus in there.

This place is great! The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. They also give you a cookie with pizza slices! Nice touch.
Do not order from this place!! They send out food incorrectly made and then turn it around for you to put it on Skip the Dishes. They dont own up to their mistakes and will fight you over the phone to argue their fault. POOOOOR COMPAN!!!!

Mistake made on our nacho Grande order, much less cheese than it used to be, much less toppings, price much higher. They asked for a tip at the pay terminal to pick up take out which is rude and inappropriate for no service. Pay your employees and dont beg to top up their salary. Used to be the best nachos on the Avalon, but now just another rip-off.
Almost everything I and my girlfriend have had from here is amazing. The pizza, donairs, gyros. All great! The only things Ive had that I didnt like were the fries and wings. Those were mediocre at best.
I ordered a while ago on Door Dash. The dasher must have dropped my order off at another house. The dasher said it was delivered. But it wasn t, and I never got a refund.

2nd best pizza place I have tried since moving to St Johns, NL. We ordered 5 Jumbo and Jumbos + 2 toppings were $14. Very worth it if you ask me. Quick and convenient to feed family and friends if you dont feel like cooking. I will def be trying other food from the menu and review

Gave me about 10 tablespoons of donair sauce for a jumbo garlic fingers. Then charged me 1.25 for each additional2.5 tablespoons worth.

They treat drivers with Skip and Dash very poorly---the worst in the Northeast Avalon. This is determined not just from my own experience but talking to others. I dont care how good their food might be. They are not kind to drivers even in the slightest. I do not recommend them therefore except for dine-in.
Horrific price to portion. This was $12 like are you kidding me???? For $12 I m expecting to get actual food, not a petite snack. Do not go here and waste your money.

Asked for fresh pizza. We got it. Got home it was like rubber. Called in to explain and the first young lady was very friendly. Then then another girl, wont call a lady,. She was so rude and obnoxious that I had to ask her what do you think I am lying? She said well it was fresh. I said with an attitude like that I wont be back ...she said do what you want and hung up. I was in awe how she spoke to. Like seriously, I got better things to do than buy pizza and turn around and bring it back. In the garbage it went So thank you girl at acropolis We wont be back.

Fantastick food
Last night I ordered a poutine with dressing and bacon strips. It was honestly so disgusting it felt like they microwaved it. I love this place but lately it has been horrible. I even called to complain and nobody really cared. I hope they figure things out but I won t be spending my money there again.

I really like the food here, the poutines are always on point, the cheese is melted perfectly and they dont cheap out on it either, you get a lot of cheese, fries, and gravy, its a tasty mess. Also the pizza is great, I havent had better pizza anywhere else. Its one of my favorite places to get takeout.

Pizza is o..k. its a 2 dollar slice for like 6 bucks. guy who served me was less than stellar. to be honest he acted like he was there against his will like being forced by your parents vs working for some money. very bland, lifeless person, maybe he was on his 3rd shift working a triple or something. the girl who handed me the pizza was much more upbeat.

Fastest pizza spot lunchtime for a slice. In and out in under a minute sometimes. Pizza is great, good selection of drinks, cookie comes with the slice. What more do u want? Spice on it? Well I just found out theres a spice rack on the right to throw on your za! Crazy. Im here at least once a week and will continue to be going here for lunchtime slices

Stayed in St. Johns for the wèekend. Asked our Costco cashier for best pizza in town. She recommended Acropolis. Had medium, well done, thin crust delivered to our hotel. Delivery driver was pleasant. Pizza arrived hot and was very delicious! Highly recommend this place!
Its pricey for pizza but worth it. The way they manage to get all those toppings on there and cook it to perfection is beyond me. If you dont mind expensive pizza and want a good slab you gotta try it out.
