Stay away from fish and chip full oil and end throwing up after eating.

There fuel for trucks here and few parking overnight there store not open 24hrs but they have good breakfast

Dietary restrictions: If you have common dietary restrictions then they will accommodate you no problem, however if you have more niche dietary restrictions then they cannot. Which is understandable. Here s an example, my mum is allergic to beef she has no problem eating there without beef coming in contact with her food. I have a severe sodium sensitivity, and they cannot accommodate my restrictions.

I was over to the big stop and had a turkey sandwich meal with fries dressing, gravy, and carrots. I have to say the meal was absolutely disgusting. It had zero flavor. I m not sure if the turkey was full of bones or pieces of wood. I actually had to get upfrom the table and go to the washroom to remove what appeared to be a piece of wood. It could ve been a bone, but I never seen a bone look like that. I have to say my strongly recommend staying away from the hot turkey meal. this is not the first meal I had there in the last six weeks that wasn t pleasant. I had a fish and chips about 6 or 7 weeks ago and that was awful.

I have a delivery order from doordash and i have to pick up from here and im waiting here more than 45 minutes and they don t care about delivery drivers they didn t cooperative they are only serving people who ordered by phone or din in

Not my first time visiting this location and receiving bad service. Stopped in here for lunch today and was promptly seated. Unfortunately, nobody stopped at our table to take our order. Waited for a while and finally left and went elsewhere. The restaurant was not busy, no excuse for poor service. Expected more from an Irving Big Stop. On a previous visit, our order was taken, but not submitted to the kitchen.

Great food, ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and veggies. I had the Thai Bites as a starter and everything was delicious. Roast beef sandwich had actual sliced roast not the stuff from the deli. Everything tasted amazing.

The food is so good here even my toddler loves it! We love going for weekend brunch here. The servers are really friendly and great at what they do. The eggs Benedict is full of flavor, down to every last bite. The hollandaise sauce is savory and delicious. Parking: There are plenty of parking spots on both sides of the restaurant and gas bar. Kid-friendliness: The servers are always great to my kids. Always asking if we need anything and interacting with them to get a smile.

The food is delicious, the staff are exceptional, the prices are reasonable. The only complaint I have is the decor is a little dated. I still go to eat here regularly and never regret my decision. Parking: There is a lot of parking but where it is attached to a gas station you have to walk a fair distance to get to the building. I dont mind but I usually go with my senior Mom so I end up dropping her to the door. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and it is a family restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: It is all on one level and is wheel chair accessable.

Yeah so this is a truck stop restaurant.. good is fine. Price is about what you would expect... a big problem in st Johns is the short options for breakfast. Unless you have some other place in mind.. this will feed you and get you on your way Kid-friendliness: Yup its fine for families And kids

My family goes here every Saturday morning and maybe throughout the week too . The staff are amazing,very friendly and the food is delicious. I have only one concern .You dont have enough wheelchair parking . Im mobility challenged and need support to walk therefore needing a wheelchair parking space . I had spoken to a gentleman in management and he said they were in the process of making more wheelchair parking places , but it never was done . We go really early to obtain this one space if were lucky , but alot of times we dont. Im sure Im not the only person that has encountered this problem. If more spaces could be added it would be greatly appreciated. Also the handicapped door openers would be nice also as most businesses have then installed on their doors now . It makes it so much easier to enter and exit your restaurant .

Most of my meal was burned. Turned my stomach. Barely ate any of it. Left it to be thrown out. Server never came and check on table after serving meal. Wont be going back.

When you ask the waitress for hot food (fries) please on poutine. Not just spread hot gravy and thats gonna cut it. Please remake it not reheat it in the microwave, so the actual curds will melt. Had it remade and the fries on the bottom were cold again . Too hungry to complain anymore. I was told it was a new cook . So the benefit of the doubt goes to the cook this time.

Met for breakfast on a Sunday morning at 10 am. Not too busy. Able to get a booth immediately. Got served quickly however once the food arrived the waitress never returned to see if we wanted a top up on our drinks (tea, coffee and water) or anything else. Food was hot and well made though. Parking: It s attached to a gas station so lots of space to park Kid-friendliness: Lots of families go with kids ranging in ages from newborns all the way up to teenagers and beyond. Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair can easily enter and go to a table in the restaurant

absolutely TERRIBLE service! waited almost an HOUR just for our drinks.. the server seemed like she had no clue what anyone was talking about and forgot to ask necessary questions such as: how we would like our eggs, what kind of toast, etc. after waiting around an hour and a half we finally got our food with the WRONG order!! i m beyond upset with the service. go to mcdonald s it s better then this. i won t be back here again.

Every other time we have had a moderate experience. Was looking forward to a treat of their all day breakfast but ended up waiting 30 minutes alone just for our drinks when they weren t even busy!! Our waitress forgot about us and also forgot to ask us the usual questions like how we like our eggs. Not to mention we were even given dirty cutlery!! After an hour and a half finally received food which was made with everything i asked not to be on it, after it was fixed it came out cold. Very disappointed as this place seems more like a zoo than a restaurant. You re better off going to mc Donalds its better managed. Only good thing that came out of it was we got our food for free. Save your money and time and don t eat here!!

Service was good and food was good but not great, fries were bland and I had fish tacos that were supposed to have slaw and a special sauce but was just red cabbage and red onions chopped and thrown on. The clubs the other people had were good accept for the fries .

My family and myself went there at 4:00pm. Hardly anyone in the restaurant, they sat us at the table in a timely matter and then so nicely forgot about us until they had a full house which took 30 minutes. Then never said sorry just made an excuse in not knowing who got their first, then 5 more tables came in and got sat down and received their meals and had their meals finished and paid for. We was there for 1.5 hours with no food and a bunch of excuses as to why it was taking like it s a bigger table to your last to be done but their was also another table of only two that got ignored as well. We ll never be returning.

This place use to be good. The prices have doubled since my last visit, unfortunately the quality of the food has worsened. The coffee is horribly weak and absolutely disgusting - akin to a cup of warm dirty water.

I went at noon, so it was crowded with a line up to get seats. This is to be expected though for that time of day, so I cant hold that against them. The service was quick and efficient. The food was good and the price reasonable. Ill return, but probably not at a peak time like lunch hour.

Irving Big Stop Restaurants are my favorite spots for quick food stops when travelling. I was on my way back to Halifax Airport & wanted to have a quick bite before going to the airport. We decided on Irving because its familiar (you know what you are getting every time at an Irving Big Stop since the menu is the same for most if not all locations in Atlantic Canada. I ordered a bowl of the NL delicacy split pea soup with salt beef & veggies & a dumpling. MARVELOUS. THEN I had 1/2 clubhouse sandwich with gravy on the side. It was perfect. Then to top it off I had a pc of Coconut cream pie. Also delicious & a small chocolate milk. I wet from starved to stuffed in short order but OMG it was so good!!!! Vegetarian options: N/A Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family spot.

Had a wonderful lunch date with my brother we both had breakfast which included eggs bacon sausage ham bologna home fries and instead of toast a chocolate chip pancake it was all delicious but way too much food for me the price was reasonable considering the portion size and the staff, although busy, were friendly and provided awesome service. I will go back for sure!

My adult son and I had breakfast there today. I have a gluten allergy and was delighted with my gf eggs benedict and pan fried hash browns. Great attention to detail with my allergy. My son had a beautiful omelette with all the fixings. And while the food was delicious, the service was also outstanding! Jo was our server and she was just a delight! Couldn t help but smile every time she checked the table.
