Order as take out and got a lot more in their Christmas special then was listed (gravy and jam and dressing) .

It was freezing there. One chicken breast was all red inside. Waited 20 minutes for our bill. Might as well tell you this now that I am going there. I wrote my name in the dust on the ledge, along by our boot. I had to take the desert minu of the table it was so dirty. Along the inside of the table was full of crumbs. A man asked a girl to clean his seat their was stuff on it. Yes, with a paper towel, no spray. Usually, go there often. But got to get better than this.

Missing the Thai chili 1/4 chicken

People who came and ordered behind us received their food and left and we still had not received our meals. Asked for a manager and was disgusted with how rudly he spoke to us. I am a diabetic who had taken my mediction and was expecting to eat in a reasonable time but this did not happen.

Very friendly service on a very busy night. Despite the chaos, they were very courteous, attentive and we got our meal quickly. The food was great! Everyone enjoyed the meal.

Placed a large order for a group of 40 people. Kudos to this team for getting it exactly right, on time, hot and reliably delicious!

We had to wait an hour to get served, understandable since it was 5oclock but whatever, we finally get a table and it s around 6:22 now, we get chicken, fries and Caesar salad and a burger, when the server brought out the salad he did not put any dressing on it, I ask him for dressing and he takes about 20 minutes to come back with just a thing of ranch, whatever, now what made me mad was when my dad shows me that the inside of his chicken is COMPLETELY PINK, very dissatisfied with this restaurant, will not be coming here again.

I was just in the take out and asked for a large soup with lots of crackers and a 5 strip meal. I heard them talking about how many crackers normally goes with a large soup and the reply was 3 or 4. So I expected there to be more than 3 in my bag when I got home. Also the only gave me and single packet of plum sauce for 5 strips? 2 is barely enough ands it is. Very disappointed with my service and attention to meal quality today

This past few months we dined in and gave us wrong meals, never did get the correct meals first or last Tonight we went with the take out route to come home and find my daughters portion was missing but yet we were charged, offered us a $15 credits on a $70 order, how kind of them, so here I am cooking for my daughter for supper, not good enough!! Two awful experiences, won t be a third

this place has some of the best ribs around that fall right off the bone and the chicken is as the French say good. prices are reasonable, and you always walk away full and satisfied,nothing worse than paying too much, and the food wasnt fit to eat but this place is neither of those. the ladies serving us couldent be more helpful from being friendly and joking around to coming back to the table multiple times without being called to see if everything was OK or if we wanted refills,I love when I dont have to ask so needless to say she earned her tip that night and also needless to say I took a rack of ribs home for later and yes I cried a little while eating it because Im a sad bottomless dumpster which is ironic cause my real dumpster is a sight to behold and that baby dont quit Wabam!

We visited the Mount Pearl location for lunch today. As busy as it was the food was fresh and hot and the service was amazing. Even the manager checked on us to ensure all was well. Great experience.

Disappointed in our recent visit to mount pearl location. We eat low carb and wanted salad as our sides. We were told there were no salads or vegetables. When asked why, we were told its typical on a Monday. Really?! If you know that you run short by Monday, you need to adjust your order to last an extra day.

WOULD you please remind your staff to ASK customers if they have a Scene card. Husband went to take out Sunday July 9 & they did not ask for Scene card even though he paid with a Scene Visa!

I hosted a work lunch for myself and a few colleagues recently, our server was amazing! Very attentive and efficient, her name was Taylor! She was extremely professional and most pleasant despite the chaos! I don t know how she managed to serve on your dangerously slippery floor. You should work on that please, we wouldn t want anyone injured.

Server was outstanding. Wait to get in seemed unnecessarily long. Tired atmosphere. Chicken was dry, skin - tough, chewy and sticky. Roll was dry and tough and seemed to be a different recipe. SC sauce was now optionally and lemon soup no longer offered. Not what I remember from Swiss Chalet.

You need to hire more servers, we walked in and were told we needed to wait 5 mins for a table.... The place was empty, we were told the server needs so much time between guests so they dont get over whelmed. We all had beef, soooooo delicious!!!

Birthday dinner. Ordered 5 meals for takeout. Get home and only 4 meals. Go back to get the 5th, come back and no side! Just fries! Incompetence when ordering for takeout. Dine in is always fine but no review or care for takeout orders!!!

I normally have a good meal and always good service, but the last 3 times I have picked up my online order or ordered through the takeout, I have seen kitchen staff with masks down over their nose, or completely off their face while preparing meals. I understand how difficult it must be to have to wear a mask all shift, but I need to see that my food is being prepared safely, otherwise I have to go somewhere else to eat. Specially with this new omicron variant present

My favourite Swiss chalet location in NL. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. Servers and hosts are always very friendly and deliver prompt service. And the food - best chicken in town! Always hot and tasty. 10/10!

Bad experience My wife ordered pepsi and got diet, Asked the server why it was diet when she ordered regular pepsi and her reply was if you ordered regular you would have gotten regular you ordered diet;but my wife did not order diet. Got a caesar salad and it was the poorest and smallest salad we ever had ,we got one plate between us for double order if wings and salad. Never mt.pearl location again. That was Thursday 5:00 ish April 21st 2022.

Three of us placed a takeout order this evening. Arrived to pickup just prior to time specified. Its a two-minute drive home & food was cool so must have been sitting for quite some time. One person ordered a crispy chicken sandwich (without Cole slaw) & it was basically a bun, chicken & bit of sauce. I also ordered a sandwich with a Caesar salad. Well, when looking at salad, I figured there must have been a mistake as the only thing in the container was romaine lettuce & a bit of dressing on the side - at other restaurants you would at least get some croutons & grated parmesan cheese. All we could do was laugh. First & last time we will spend almost $75 at Swiss Chalet.

I called in to speak to someone and before i got the chance to speak i got hungup on and i feel very disrespected. The food it good but customer support is not the greatest.

Today, I entered Swiss Chalet expecting the reliable meal Ive come to love. Every time I enter, I eagerly await my 1/4 Chicken (Dark Meat) and 1/3 Rack of Back Ribs drenched in Chalet sauce. This is the meal that brings me back. However, what separates this Swiss Chalet location from the others that are around my house in the service. I always find the Host/Hostess staff to be enjoyable and super helpful, and the Service staff continue to make my experience enjoyable. Today, Matt served me. His table presence was amazing as he had a demeanour that made me feel comfortable throughout the meal. I throughly enjoyed Matts service and firmly believe he is one of the best Servers Ive ever had. Thank you to Matt and the rest of the Staff at Swiss Chalet (Mount Pearl) for making my experience enjoyable.

took use 1hr 15 min to get our food. Took forever for someone to even come to our table and greet us after sitting down. Food was mediocre as well .

Ordered 4 combos, when we took the order we asked for our drinks to which we were told they were a dollar more as it s not included in the combo even though the sign says bottle of pop or water included in combo. We paid for 4 drinks and it was almost $10 extra. Never asked for our scene card. Staff working were too busy talking about cutting each other s hair.

The ambiance is amazing, booth or no booth! Food is always good at Swiss, but our server Katie (Katie B I think, blonde hair) made me the absolute BEST Shirley Temple I have ever had, no joke! Lots of cherries yet still not too sweet! Thats my special occasion beverage, and Swiss Chalet is always a special occasion.

Our server Sonya was sweet and very quick with our service! Our water was always full, constant supply of napkins, and the service was very quick. Their medium wings with sweet potato fries will always hold a special place in my heart!

Almost every time we order (takeout) here, we get home and something is missing. A side, or chalet sauce, but something. Not every time, but most of the time. Food is good, service is good, just disappointing to get home and something be missing.

I found hair in my food both times I went. Its unfortunate but I only eat at the east end location now because of this.

Arrived at 3PM on Saturday Nov 26, was turned away and told a 30minute wait, while the building was basicially empty inside. 3 partys of 4 left the waiting area due to lack of service.

Busy spot for lunch, so it was about 10 minutes later than expected, but everyone in the office were positive and pleased. Still a favourite spot. The kale salad order, however showed up as a caesar salad, so double checking the order the next time.

Just ate at the Mount Pearl location, very disappointed in the service. Received our meal, the fries were hot, beyond that the chicken was dried out. No one came to ask how our meal was, no one asked if we wanted dessert, we waited at least 15 minutes after we were done to pay. Normally we dont have any issues but this was really poor service.

Hit or miss ..and tonights take out was a huge miss. The ribs were dry and brittle, the grave was watered down so much that it ruined the fries and litterally taste like water and last...the rolls were hard enough to knock someone out if we choose to do so...we couldnt eat them so... I was extremely disappointed..if it had been dine in the entire meal would have been sent back. VERY DISAPPOINTED Swiss Chalet Mount Pearl.

The service here is usually pretty quick here and we had no trouble getting a table. As with most Swiss Chalets, the food is pretty dependable too. Our server was kind enough to add a promotion to our order even though we had left the coupon home. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

Best Customer service Ive had in my life! The menu has recently been changed to include Kale as the main lettuce that they use, if youre not a fan of kale you can substitute it but they dont make it very clear on the menu.

You get a decent meal for a decent price. Something in the menu for everyone.

My experience with Swiss Chalet has been hit or miss many times in my life and I noticed that theyve been struggling to settle on a menu. My most recent visit was a very positive experience thanks in no small part to my server. He was extremely personable, attentive, and helpful. He recommended a menu item and I decided to switch from my current choice to pursue it. The stir fry was as good as he suggested it was and I really enjoyed my experience. Wish I had saved room for a sundae

Quick service. Yummy food. Nice space and could talk without hearing or listening to the booth behind you. The food could have been a touch warmer, but all in all a nice place to go for a good price.

I love Swiss Chalet. Myself and mom goes every other week. I enjoy the atmosphere along with their famous chicken and ribs. Lately, I liok forwsrd to the roast beef dinner,very tender and moist. I give it 10 out of 10. Customer service is also number 1,friendly, and on top of things. Looks forward to our trip here always.

It took more than an hour from seating to final plate placement. Four meals were wrong, one meal was forgotten and our server dropped the tray of drinks on the table to start. For a birthday dinner no one at the table was impressed with the service.
