We stayed at JW Marriott Hotel, Mussoorie, for three nights while I was there as makeup artist for the bride and her family. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff greeted us warmly and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Their politeness, friendliness, and willingness to assist with anything and everything truly stood out. Whether it was helping us with special requests or ensuring we had everything we needed, they were always attentive and kind. Special thanks to the housekeeping guy Naman . The property itself is stunning surrounded by serene views of Mussoories beauty. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after long working hours with luxury feel. A special mention to the breakfast buffet and the wonderful staff there and chef Sunil Raturi, who was kind enough to entertain our special food request. The variety of dishes was impressive, and everything was absolutely delicious. The team at the buffet breakfast, special mention to Akhilesh, Suraj, Seng jir, Dhruv- ensured we started our day on a high note with their exceptional service and cheerful demeanor. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay. I highly recommend JW Marriott Mussoorie to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable experience with top-notch service. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our time there so special. I look forward to visiting again soon with family and friends as soon as I get time. The staff were the friendliest we have experienced and we had an amazing time. The rooms are spacious and have a perfect setup for your luxury vacation. We tried JW cafe and Teppan during our time here and really loved the food. The amenities provided are perfect to make it a long staycation or celebration. JW Marriott, Mussoorie is an amazing property and the duration of my stay here was fantastic. Everything from the food to the services was excellent. I personally recommend the Teppan Restaurant in JW Marriott. The staff is very polite especially Ms Seng Jir. She is amazing at what she does and has great knowledge about the food.

Its a 5 star property But when car was handed over it was too dirty as cars were parked in outdoor and no car wash or clean facility At least you should keep a staff for cleaning cars or indoor parking for cars

I will try and put my experience in words: Arrival : As soon as we reached the hotel we were greeted with great warmth and enthusiasm, we requested for a room upgrade and thankfully we got one. overall experience 5/5 Rooms : The rooms are spacious and super clean, so no complaints there and would like to give 5/5. Food(Restaurant & In Room Dinning) : Well we had the chance to eat at Wisteria Deck and trust me one of the wood fired pizza and pasta I ever had. The breakfast spread was fantastic and thanks to the chef I was able to try some local cuisine. so no doubt it is a 5/5 The people who made is special : A huge shout out to Ragini, Raunit & Renuka from the front desk in making sure we had a wonderful stay. And Ishani who served us at JW cafe and made sure we had our bellies full! So overall it was an extraordinary stay at JW Mussoorie and thanks to everyone in the staff for taking care of us so nicely! Located in a picturesque view of the Kempty falls, it was an amazing experience in JW Marriot. The food was awesome and the hospitality even better. Nearby activities: Multiple activities like hiking, trekking, camping and sightseeing tours Safety: It gets quite dark in the evening and less street light so always recommend travelling with a flash light incase you prefer walking. Less cops around Walkability: Roads are good but since its a hilly terrain youll have to make do with walking uphill as well Food and drinks: Try the regional food, its better then the typical north or southern dishes of nearby restaurants Noteworthy details: Very near to Kempty Falls and market, the wine shop is about 2kms away

Excellent Property but Overpriced Let me straightway share the pros and cons of this property as per my experience: Pros: 1) Well equipped room and bathroom 2) Room air conditioner is good with perfect temperature control 3) Beds are comfortable 4) Bathtub and shower facilities are good 5) Breakfast quality is awesome 6) Game zone area is also good to take care of guests of all age group Cons: 1) Location is not that perfect, its much ahead of Mussoorie with far less altitude than Mussoorie 2) High tea arrangements were very poor 3) Ala-carte charges are too high as compared to other similar properties We were warmly attended by Ms Ragini at the property and she took utmost care to make our stay memorable.

We had a super amazing stay in Marriott. The welcome, support in room check-in, cleanliness is amazing, garden maintenance is fantastic, staff training is really nice. All the staff greet you with a smile, very responsible at the service. Three employees I would like to mention Chef Sainath, Mr Kailash and Ms Manmeet were super supportive. Rooms: Super clean rooms, we had super huge bed. Balconies are big enough to sit and have nice view. Food and drinks: Very delicious food in the Indian cuisine restaurant Trout. Hospitality is amazing. Chef Sainath, Mr Kailash and Manmeet in JW cafe were very caring and supportive.

The team at the property hardly understand the importance of good service. They kept troubling us with delayed service and stupid mistakes while we were two couples with our 9 month old babies. I would never ever return to this property and would urge people to check for other better options before diving into this one. Even after giving repeated instructions on certain things, they will screw it up and give you bad shocks during your stay and spoil the entire experience for the family. 1. We booked our airport pick up and drop with the concierge before the trip but to our surprise - airport drop wasn t confirmed by them. The only way to confirm is to call them 20 times again and again and then they will confirm. 2. Call for a mashed banana for a baby and they will take 40 mins to say oh I will get it right away . We mashed it ourselves later. 3. Book a valley view suite and you ll get a room which doesn t let you see the valley from ANY angle. Fight with them and then they will say okay let us try and shift you tomorrow to a better room. 4. Book a cab with conceirge for local travel. Go to the lobby at the confirmed time to find out that no one has called for a cab. Wait for 30 more mins coz someone did not understand the instructions well. 5. Tell the team clearly to not call on the room phone (and give your mobile number as the primary POC) since the baby is sleeping. Result: get 3 calls back to back so that the baby wakes up and becomes restless due to troubled sleep. 6. Book 2 rooms next to each other- one for a couple and second one for the kid + nanny to have enough room for the baby to play. Confirmed on call while booking. Only to find that the rooms will have 3 more rooms between them. 7. I might need a few more days to put everything here about the food service. It gives you an experience of the entire spectrum possible with quality on one side (which is good) and the service on the other side (which is insanely bad). 8. Call for a dosa and you ll be served with a paratha. Call for a toast and you ll get a fruit platter. Call for a juice and you might not get anything that day. Imagine this happening with multiple folks at the same time. The staff is just not trained to manage even 2 tables at the same time. And they have atleast 20-30 tables at the cafe. 9. We ask the team to book for a thali experience at 8pm for lunch next day only to get a call at 11:30pm in the room again asking whether we want to have lunch or dinner! 10. You bring up the issues with their director of operations only to get even more terrible issues at the cafe the next day. And she stands right there without doing anything or instructing anyone about improvement. 11. And last but not the least, it does not give the value for the money you pay. Marriott definitely doesn t understand luxury stays. Oberoi/Taj/ITC/W definitely does much better. I would never ever visit this property again and would recommend to go for ITC or W/West In (either of the two has just opened).

Hyped & Not Value for Money Walnut Creek Mussoorie is nestled in the gharwali range of mountains atleast 6-10 kms from Mall road of mussoorie, its located in the quite location. The rooms are large and spacious. If you are a family with kids it has lots of games and amenities. The highlight was breakfast the chefs and servers all do a fantastic job. The experience bit is lacking in this property as the design has a major flaw... The rooms that cost approx 40 k a night donot have a great views . Incase u have booked delux then u r going to face a car park . Btw if you lucky with a valley view it doesnt end here ,it depends on your wing. A wing is best and if u are on the pool floor be ready to face the noisy pool , u will surely feel u have arrived in your community pool or building club. They donot have the spa building and wellness centre in separate wing. Noise & crowd is something which comes as a package. The nature trails are more in the backyard and everything is chargeable. The yamuna river picnic is quite far and is chargeable. They have three restaurants, especially the teppan needs upgrade as it faces the car park and porch. The staff and chef at teppan are gracious.Overall after traveling the world and staying at some finest hotels . Recently just arrived from Taj Rishikesh.. not to compare but honestly this hotel was not value for money in terms of authenticity and experience of the hills .Its a commercial hotel apt for wedding and conferences. Our stay became some what less chaotic as the hotel houses hospitable staff naming Abir at front desk , Aakansha at front desk who was very patient with us . Abhishek at teppan and Sunil at breakfast. Do your research as in what you are looking for in terms of your top dollars, before you get swayed with the PR this hotel offers . Stayed in the property with Family from 1st to 4th June 24. Location is good 30 minutes from Mall road so approachable but far from noise and crowd. Staff is very friendly and helpful I want to specially highlight Chef Rohit Chadha who took special care , Helper Ram in Souna and spa area and personalized return gift we have received at check out . All restaurants are with different cuisines but Westeria was best Overall one of the best property we have visited .Highly recommended . Few things can be better -Swimming pool is small ,should have some shuttle to Mussoorie mall road .

Hostess miss *Riyamoni* was amezing...always smiling and ready to help you all the time . Veey impressed with her attitude. Also would like to recommend Chef Sai Naik and trekking guide Ram were equally amezing.

Beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning mountain views, luxurious rooms, all the amenities, several gift shops and a well maintained fitness center. The food was excellent with a mind boggling multitude of choices. There are many different outdoor and indoor areas for staging events. The only drawback is the confusing layout--this place should offer maps for its guests. A little known fact... They offer a very generous breakfast to go box which I took advantage of on my very last day. Rooms: Beautiful stand alone bathtub, excellent water pressure in the shower. The double beds are really one super large connected California king size bed. Bathrooms have a glass partition wall with privacy shade, so guests in rooms overlooking the mountains can take in the stunning view from the bathroom. Food and drinks: The food, no matter the type of cuisine was top notch. Especially enjoyed the Mongolian stir dry noodles and various pastas like the vegetable lasagna. Indian desserts were also excellent.

It s a okay property but not worth the spend there - the service is good and people are friendly - location is far away from Mussorie and just okay -nothing wow about the location - breakfast area is messy during the mornings - it s just another Mariott - wouldn t come all the way here - was over hyped so I booked to get pampered

Right from the start of our adventure to the tranquil JW Marriott Mussoorie, located in the stunningly picturesque mountainous region, we were greeted with exceptional service and hospitality that made our trek from Dehradun airport entirely worthwhile. Nisha at the reception ensured our check-in was seamless, laying the groundwork for the impeccable service that was a constant throughout our visit. Our room was a masterpiece of luxurious design with comfort at its core. It was elegantly furnished and functional, featuring a luxurious bathtub, an advanced 50-inch smart TV, a fully equipped mini-bar, and a desk that met all our needs. The king-sized bed was perfect for a rejuvenating sleep after adventurous days. The highlight for us, however, was the large balcony with its comfy sofa seating for four, offering a private haven for enjoying serene Mussoorie evenings over coffee. Although the gym was somewhat limited in equipment diversity, it provided enough for our basic exercise needs, ensuring we stayed on track with our fitness routines. This minor aspect was greatly overshadowed by the fantastic childrens play area, which was a dream come true for our toddler. Mr Rishabh from JW cafe was extremely helpful and Chef Sunil was very welcoming. My wife s a vegan and he made a special dish as well as a dessert just for her. We came to celebrate my wife s birthday and Mr Shailendra & team of housekeeping ensured we got a beautifully decorated room welcoming us to a great birthday celebration. Our guide to the temple trail was very polite, accommodating & knowledgeable, if you have the time, take their paid trails as well, totally worth it. Evening High Tea (Kachdi) was a great way to meet all other guests and have a gala time playing tambola. We also took a complimentary morning Hatha yoga session and our instructor was extremely polite, helpful and great at yoga. She gives personal attention to everyone and accommodates every body shape as per pace and energy. I have no complaints, I enjoyed thoroughly. Do note, it s a resort where it s mostly families who come in with generally young kids and older parents so expecting them to behave with etiquette might not be right. I enjoy chatting with people and talking to everyone I come across but if you are the kind of person who hates loud kids and desi Indian parents having a gala time then this might not be the place for you.

The stay was amazing . Rooms were really nice and good . The staff here are very friendly . The property is huge . They have their private garden and some spots of farming . They have some outdoor games for children for which they charge some amount . The location was bad . It s too far from the main place , Mall Road . Front desk team was excellent. The taste of food was just fine . Not Upto the mark . Other states JW food is excellent. But the deserts were superb . All were eggless . Good variety of desserts that too vegetarian. Made my day . They had wide range of breakfast but they comprised on the taste . Stayed here for three days . The chef was also nice and polite . He tired a lot to make South Indian chutney to match my taste but couldn t do it . It had a nice gym . The play area or the games room for kids in the basement was nice , the staff there were really sweet . It has a very nice swimming pool and a separate pool for the kids . I hope I visit here again after some improvements.
