For $35.65, I thought that they would be better. I mean, a $15 waffle should be fantastic.
This place is a hidden gem! The ham and cheese waffle was fresh, delicious and beautiful. Amazing bubble tea! This place is so cute and I was very surprised there was no one else here!! 10/10 recommend for good quick eats!
Great place! Little gem great atmosphere and the food was great. Waffles were really fluffy. I got the fruit explosions. Sisters got the go banana, and brownie delight. Brownie delight was 10/10. The bubble tea, however, was pretty watery. The milk shake was on point. Besides the bubble tea everything was worth it.
Hidden away in the corners of Nanaimo, it’s no secret that Waffle Magic has some of the best golden circles known as waffles available to the public. One taste is sure to have you under the spell and wanting more, 10/10 in terms of service and food.
DELICIOUS as always! I personally love the Nanaimo bar waffles. Both styles are wonderful, depending on your preference. Milkshake was very yummy - not as thick as some may prefer, but very good! There's some cute stickers and little keychains and reusable bags there as well, and they serve bubble tea but I've never had it there (yet). Always a nice experience, indoor and outdoor seating, waffles are always served warm and delicious, would recommend!
Its a small establishment tucked away in a little alley in old city area I went with a couple of friends and enjoyed some amazing liege waffles and their choices were amazing who would've thought you could oder a savory waffle!!! Definitely on my try list for next time. The staff service was amazing super friendly and diligent to their tasks when making food ! We tried the strawberry cheesecake waffle and nanaimo bar waffle aswell as a vanilla milkshake (true classic) and mango and watermelon boba!!!
Oh My! These waffles were delicious!!! They even make two different styles of waffles and I can say that both are so yummy. Their boba was great and we even had one with ice cream! If you feel like waffles this is the place.
Waffle magic was a dream! It was far from disappointing the staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is enjoyable for people of all ages . I couldn't believe a delicious place like this actually existed. I had a hard time deciding which waffle to go with but in the end I picked the brownie one and have no regrets. I would recommend it to anyone but you cant go weekly haha that wouldn't be good.

Omg,the most Delicious Waffle Crunchy outside,soft inside,with lotsa yummy fruit on top and the Scrambled Eggs were so Yummy Great,Friendly Service.I ve been here a few times and can t wait to come back again

Been going here since high school with friends, its a staple of downtown Nanaimo and one of those nostalgic places with an atmosphere you cant really get anywhere else. The waffles are fantastic and the price has always stayed more or less the same since Ive been going there (around 2015-2016). Strongly recommend the brownie delight if youre a chocolate sundae fan. Dietary restrictions: Maybe not the place to go if you avoid dairy (as most of their options include milk products) but as someone with a moderate lactose intolerance and little to no other dietary restrictions... its worth it, just bring lactose pills.

This place is wonderful. The owner and staff are kind and friendly with a laid back demeanour that is welcoming and jovial.The food is delicious and very well priced. My favourite is the Sweet Heart with the Brussels Waffle. I have had waffles in so many different cities but these are the best by far! You would be doing yourself a kindness to come and enjoy this place for yourself. No only are you going to have an amazing and delicious meal, but also a friendly and relaxed experience. 10/10 I would recommend Waffle Magic to anyone. This place it tiny and mighty! And no, I don t work for them- I just love food!
Waffles are brilliant, but the server is so sour, plz.m U are serving the public, say hello and thank you . It cost you zero. Your manners are letting this establishment down. Sorry.

So good! Every time I ve been here a handful of times now and I have enjoyed it every single time. The price is fair. The service is great and the food is delicious. The neighborhood/location contributes to the quaint vibes of the café :) You can tell everything is made fresh to order too. It also smells SO good. This is my favourite place for waffles!

By far the best waffles Ive ever had, nice, fluffy and crispy! I had the cinnamon sugar waffles, its melt in your mouth, id recommended all day!

So tasty and cozy! I really enjoyed the delicious cinnamon liege waffle and the strawberry Brussel waffle as well. The liege dough on warming and comforting and the Brussel dough is very light and like eating air. I also had the strawberry milk shake which was VERY thick and just delicious will definitely come back next time Im in Nanaimo and also they have stamp cards so Im excited to earn a free waffle with it

Consistently delicious waffles! I usually pick the Fruit Explosion, which is aptly named and tasty on either type of waffle, though I do quite enjoy the liege style.

Tayaki ice cream cone is not youre walk in the park melting experience but rather within two minutes leaks melted icecream out of the scales n blew up a vanilla blop of impossible to consume to sinking proportions of a bleeding out fish for 6 bucks.

I think the prices are a little too high, but its a sweet place to get a treat! In warmer and dryer weather it is very nice to sit outside and enjoy your food and drink.

They dont serve coffee, but if you go to the café just 20 feet away theyll actually deliver your order to Waffle Magic if you just give them the heads-up thats where youll be

Ive never experienced anything like this before. These waffles are on a whole other level of deliciousness. They take your taste buds for a wild ride. My top recommendation is the Peanut Butter Bliss waffle.

Decent waffles, decent price.
Brought my family here starving. The service was excellent with a very attentive server (the owner, I think). The waffles came out quickly. We had the Belgian waffles (they also have Liege style). The waffles were beautifully light and tasty. My husband and I split a savoury one, the kids had sweet. Both were delicious. Everything was very clean and the prices were reasonable. If you find yourself in Nanaimo, I highly recommend a stop here.
