Small burger and tiny place itself. Still good food, service and ambience

Stopped in her on our way to the airport for dinner. The wife and I were very pleased with the food. She said gumbo was the best shes ever had and the sushi was very fresh and flavourful.

The food is with wide range of choices from western food to steaks and sushi. This us my 3rd tome to this restaurant when I am visiting Nanaimo. Always have the sushi but the other dishes look good as well. The old location was much nicer. The new one is way too dark.

Centrally located in downtown Nanaimo, this bar and grill restaurant offers a few East Asian fusion twists to the otherwise fairly standard menu. The beer and wine list is limited but theyre a couple of interesting BC hoppy or fruity choices.

Absolutely amazing! This is definitely a must-visit spot. Everything was top-notch, and our server, Memphis, took care of our large group with impressive professionalism and good energy . The Firehouse in Nanaimo radiates great vibes all around.

This restaurant was OK. The service was quite slow - the first time since weve been in Canada that the service wasnt fantastic. The main reason for the review is the steak was quite disappointing, it was overcooked and the French loaf it was served on was just a piece of bread. The sushi was decent. Overall it was fine but I wouldnt recommend to friends.

Hire more people. Waited 45 minutes to be seated and another hour for appetizers... took over 40 minutes to bring a beer and 25 for water.

What a fun place! The food was amazing, try the sushizza! My wife had the salmon and was down away by the flavors. The best part of our dinner though was the manager. She found out that we were from out of town and took the time to give us suggestions on places to go and things to see around the island. Made for a fantastic experience. I also watched as she coached a brand new server. I have worked as a restaurant manager for 25 years, and of I owned my own place I would hire her in an instant. Such a pleasure to watch her work, direct politely, work on new servers skills and still take the time to help some wandering travelers. You are lucky to have her!! Keep up the great work.

Sushi was crazy good - I didn t have high hopes since they served so many other things but I was kind of blown away

the kitchen came out and asked me if i was okay because of my obnoxious and apparently ambiguous facial expression. truth is, i was struggling to come to terms with the reality of how good this food is. it s eyes-rolling in the back of your head good. (we shared the firehouse beef burger and a volcano roll, with a pint of berried alive. perfect combo!)

Though we rushed the chef to prepare our order bcz we wanted to catch the ferry, the sushi they made were the yummiest sushi I have ever eaten. I tried their Good times sushi box n it was amazing. Definitely gonna come again for dine in this time.

Good place to go to catch up over dinner or take a date for a good meal without breaking the bank. The atmosphere is a bit lacking as the dining room is one big open space with no dividers and bright lights. The food more than makes up for any lack of vibes you may feel. Order the assorted sashimi platter and enjoy one of the best meals in town. Fair prices, decent service, amazing food.

Amazing quality, great staff, very helpful with food allergies (and the best gluten free tempura I ve had!) Price is reflective of the quality - and the quality is incredible. Firehouse is our go-to for all our date nights, and has been great for takeout during Covid. The kids love the lunch boxes!

Came for dinner and drinks, we were talked to once at our table when we first were sat, ordered our drinks, but after that were completely ignored. We were going to order food but we were not helped at all so didn t even have the opportunity. Staff was mostly just chatting to customers and not acknowledging us at all after like 25 mins. Really disappointed

We had never been to the firehouse grill so we went to try it out. The food was just delicious. Unfortunately, my girl ordered a type of roll and received the wrong one. They were quick to fix the error. The drinks were good. The food was great. Im sure we will be back. Vegetarian options: My girl is lactose intolerant so Im glad they had dishes that worked for her.

Ended up here because I was fool and didnt make reservations at an actual resturant, Its been 6 years since I have been here and I thought to myself surely since then something has to have changedoh boy was I wrong. We got 3 rolls and a couple pieces of nigiri and let me tell you it was by far the worst sushi I may have ever had in my life. Somehow they didnt get the memo where your supposed to season the rice and not keep it in a cooler before serving it and maybe your thinking that those two things are not deal breakers but when your first bite tastes like cold rice that got left in your fridge for 3 days you would be surprised on how awful it tastes. All of there rolls are dressed up in ways where they try to hide the fact that they cant get the most important steps right. Service was meh, We had Memphis as our server who warned us he was having a hard night so we were patient and gave him no issues. However we did try to make eye contact with him a couple of times because it took 15 minutes to get to pops out but even then that was okay. The hilarious thing was the manager I think (woman with glasses) came over and asked why we were glaring at their staff and tried to desculate a situation that was never there. Overall its a pretty awful place and we went to mcdonalds and had a better time.

Not a bad little place to get some sushi. Not a huge selection, but it was decent. Atmosphere reminds me of a cafeteria. The beers took way too long as their tap was broken apparently, and we didnt get any condiments with our sushi. We had to grab the soy sauce from the table next to us.

The seafood Jambalaya was delicious gluten-free option. Nicely seasoned with lots of seafood.

I wanted to try sushi but was a little nervous to eat raw seafood so the chef was very nice and cooked the salmon & tuna for me and it was delicious! Im so glad that I stepped out of the box and tried sushi, because now I love it! Paige was our server and she was very sweet and helpful and the manager was very friendly. We will definately eat there again!

I cannot believe how disgusted I am after being at the restaurant. I was charged $113 for three meals yes we had two beer each bought the beer was good I ordered a two piece fish and chips with a Caesar side I ended up getting a house side of salad in a cup +2 cod tail s that were probably 2 ounces each and they charged me $24 if you are insane go to this restaurant

A westernized maki spot. Rice was a bit too vinegary and mushy for sushi, but other than that, flavour was on-point for being fusion.

The Staff were friendly and took care of us nicely. The restaurant felt cold and small. The food I had was good but won t stand out in my memory compared to similar plates I ve eaten elsewhere. The bathroom is a long walk around the workings of the kitchen. Not a great effort for renovation or decoration compared to what s out there.

Celebrated birthday and service is great, the ambiance of this place is perfection. loved the crab cakes and the different flavor mojitos. prices are on the higher side but with inflation everything is expensive now adays. I d say stay at home if you don t want to enjoy a good time.

Went here for lunch when I was visiting family. It was great food, and lots of different options. Even for kids, that we had with us. Food service was very slow. We were sitting waiting a long time for food. The drinks were good as well. Kid-friendliness: The provided coloring books to the kids. And the options they had for kids to eat were good

Waited a few minutes to be seated, and then waited 15 minutes to be served, with only 2 other customers in the place, before walking out.

We had such a nice time at the Firehouse Grill. The diverse menu made it easy for everyone to find something they would love. The service was top notch, polite, friendly, present...but not intrusive. The food was both delicious and beautiful to look at as it arrived. Reasonable prices. Nice lively atmosphere. Highly recommend. Did I mention that its nicely...wheelchair accessible...including the bathroom! Thanks!!

We went to the new location for the first time last night and were blown away yet again! The sushi was amazing, the service was outstanding, the experience was wonderful. Thank you for always going the extra mile!!! The new location is fantastic.

I had the full jambalaya and i found it to be very small and only a few small prawns for $25.The portions are small and the ambiance is nothing to write home about, considering the prices.

Unfortunately since the restaurant moved, I have no enjoyed their fish and chips. Twice I ve ordered through skip the dishes and both times the cod is tasteless and the batter is gummy. The menu says salmon but I ended up with cod both times.

Definitely not the best place for sushi. Came 3 times for sushi and still disappointed. Burger and other is better. Service is great though.

Great selection. Both had a drink and ordered sashimi tuna and salmon. So good very fresh great presentation. I had seafood jambalaya half order plenty of food lots of seafood. Wife had blue cheese tuna salad lots to eat very fresh. Service was great ambience great too.

We ve been going to Firehouse at the old location for years, so decided to check out the new spot with a group of friends for dinner. On the plus side it s a nice location, space is cozy, our server was attentive and friendly. They have the same menu which has a good variety and some solid selections. My wife ordered the salmon, which is has been her fave dish there (and one she s probably had 8 times in the past). When it came out, it was raw. I understand that properly cooked salmon is in that medium range to use a steak comparison, but this was the equivalent of blue rare. Basically sashimi with a bit of a cooked outer shell. Usually no big deal, often restaurants err on the side of under rather than over cooking. When brought up to the server she consulted with the manager who sent her back to tell us that s just the way we cook our salmon here . The manager hadn t looked at the state of the food to actually gauge how it was cooked, and as I ve mentioned we been there multiple times with the same dish, so know how It s usually cooked. We explained that to the server, and again without actually coming out to look at things the manager told her to give us a discount on the item. Ok cool, they at least are willing to compensate. But when we get the bill it s a whopping 10% off the salmon, taking a $32 meal (that my wife was barely able to eat)down by a whole $3. Two of us also had the chicken sandwich, which had some good flavour but was extremely dry and didn t have a whole lot else on the bun to offset that. Overall a disappointing experience. As mentioned we ve been going to them for years but not too sure we ll be back again anytime soon.

We popped in for lunch at the new location! It is so much smaller but much more personal. The Jambalaya was outstanding! We enjoyed our meals and the service was great. Well definitely be back!

Big Willy burger was super delicious and mouth watering! One of the best burgers I ve ever had, super fresh. Staff are nice and friendly. I liked the mojito as well, it was fresh and had a natural taste. The interior design is not something special but the quality of the food will satisfy you for sure.

Needs some decor. Looks like a cafeteria. Food was good although soup wasnt hot. An extra order was added to our bill which we did notice until we had left. Our efforts to discuss this have been ignored. Wont be going back. Atmosphere : 1/5

Horrible experience. Gave my mom food she has a serious allergy to. My mom has a serious soy allergy. I called in advance to make sure the fish and chips were soy free and the girl on the phone told me she spoke with the kitchen and the fish and chips were soy free. We sat at our table and my mom double checked about multiple items in the fish and chips to make sure she could eat it. The server was really lovely and checked on everything she asked about. He asked the kitchen wether the tartar sauce was soy free and they said yes. Her food was brought out. She double checked about the cole slaw. The server came back and said the kitchen realized that she cannot eat the cole slaw OR the tarter sauce which she had ALREADY EATEN since they said it was safe for her to eat. They took her whole meal and discarded it. Remade it and it was done poorly. Tiny piece of fish and dry fries. Not at all worth the price we paid. Allergies are not to be taken likely and I am so thankful my mom did not eat more than she did. It can be life threatening for someone to eat something they are allergic to. The wait staff were all lovely people and I do not blame our server at all. I am extremely disappointed with the kitchen and will not come back. Dietary restrictions: My mom was given food she is allergic to after she specified her allergy

The service was not the best for the amount of people they had dining. 10 minutes to take a drink order and I had to ask for a soda refill with 4 staff walking around. It s pouring rain and the AC was on which was not necessary. Wouldn t dine again

The restaurant doesn t look like much inside more like cafeteria BUT the food was AMAZING!!!! If you looking for something unique and tastes unbelievable - this the place! Service was great and friendly!!!

Always has been one of my favorite restaurants in town. Always good service, delicious food and fancy drinks.

We made a reservation for a this past Friday, when we arrived for our reservation at 5:45 we were pointed to our table (right by the kitchen), I felt in the way the whole time, a server looked at us and walked away, she came back a few minutes later and took our order. It took almost 30 minutes to get my steak sandwich with chips and my husbands 2 piece fish, the restaurant was almost completely empty, when I got my steak there was an 8 long black hair running from a chip through the gravy on the steak, I called someone over, they said they were sorry and made another one which they packed up, my husband had eaten his fish and chips, the fish was mushy inside, they offered me miso soup (cheapest thing they have) after they brought my food all packed up they asked if I wanted a drink The service was appalling, the 3 young people wandered around but didn t really check on the guests, it took them 10 minutes to take the glasses off the table and they never did clean the table. After all of this they didn t even take anything off the bill. Needless to say it is the worst restaurant we have ever been to

Servers were friendly and the food was good, but we waited over an hour and 15 minutes for one single roll of their sushi. They never did mention how long the food was taking, and it was not very busy while we were there.

Awesome service. We ordered their fish and chips and a burger to go. It was ready right on time and still hot when we got home. Excellent food and polite helpful server. We ll be eating in next time for sure!

Solid burgers!

I will say the food here is superb. Fresh greens, fish, wings were great and drinks. I will definitely be back. I will say however the atmosphere is a little funny. We sat outside which was much more desirable than inside. It wasn t busy so we were able to get a spot outside since there s only an outdoor bench bar and two 6seat tables.

The food is quite expensive but it s really good. Service is average nothing special, takes your order brings your food and drink. I can see how people would like the Atmosphere but I honestly found it to be quite loud. All in all it s a nice place but I wouldn t go back again, not for me.

Everything was really salty. I like salt, but this was over and above. Maybe just the day we went? My husband was brought the wrong beer. My mojito was good. we paid $150 for lunch for 3 people.

Ordered half-size Classic Jambalaya; a decent size for one-person. Chops / garnishes of onion, celery, pepper representing Cajuns Holy Trinity (onion, celery, bell pepper) were present. Chicken was moist and juicy, as well as shrimp. Chorizo sausage was on the right spicy level, not overpowering. Rice was on the slight wet / saucy side for my personal preference. Corn muffin has bits of corn on it and a slight on sweeter side. Balanced proportion between rice, sausages, chicken, and shrimp. Fresh tomato cuts for toppings / garnishes. Overall I would recommend this dish to anyone either trying Creole for the first time or already having affinity with the cuisine.

I was disappointed with the overall layout and decor. It was not what I was expecting with overall attitude of the waitresses and general service. Meal was so so.

Take out was unavailable a few times that we have called, the new location does not give the ambience like the old location did. Trouble using our gift cards during payment. The sushi is perfect every-time and thank goodness for that or else we would not still be ordering food.

Great food and service

You could not pay me to go back to this restaurant. Absolute worst experience. We waited over 2 hours for our food, and was told by the manager it was our fault because we showed up early for our reservation . As we were paying, the waiter took the interac machine and entered his own tip of 18% because we were a group of 6 . We were absolutely appalled and speechless when the waiter took the machine, entered his own tip, and proceeded to tap my credit card. Further, in the hours we were waiting for our food, we were not once asked if we need more beverages. I have never been treated like that in a restaurant, the manager then came out and told us that it s not wrong of the server to enter his own tip. Please, do not waste your time going here. The servers are snobby, could care less about the service, and the food is sub par. To top it off, 2/6 people in our party got food poisoning! The servers name was Jacobi.

The taste of food was amazing They are shortage of people in the kitchen and our food took over 1 hour wait. It would be nice if they shared that info when coming in, as one person in our group needed to eat earlier and could not wait 1 hour later. We managed to grab something quickly outside, but food taste was worthwhile of a wait. The staff was pretty friendly

The prawns, volcano rolls, and all of the vegetarian sushi Ive tried is unbelievably delicious, we come here every time we visit the island! Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian sushi

The server messed up my drinks 3 times then brought me raw steak that I didn t eat, I brought my meal to the manager and they only compt. the steak portion of my meal. The server never came to our table for a quality check and still charged me for the drinks and a part of the meal. I would stay as far away from this restaurant as possible. They will never see my business or anyone I speak to.

Has a very bad vibe inside. The Horseradish caesar tasted awful and garnish was disgusting and tasted old. It took over an hour for our food to come out. Sushi dish was swimming in so much sauce it was not appetizing at all and over powered the rest of the dish components. Never had an apology for how long the food took to come to our table. Will not be returning.

Terrible food

While the food was tasty as always, the service was less than. We were sat at our table and waited for an hour and a half for our food after ordering. While the table beside us, that came in after us, was paying their bill by the time our food arrived. It was also difficult to flag staff for napkins or cutlery. If someone had even let us know that they were short staffed and would likely have a long wait for food, that would have been appreciated, as then we would have been prepared or able to alter plans.

Food was tasty but a bit of a wait. Jambalaya wasnt very hot. Server was good. People seemed to be enjoying their meals.

It was a nice experience, had thpihjt/expected it be more high classy bar. We didnt make reservations so sadly had to sit at a table with another family. But in the end it was a great experience there all around. Wasnt impressed with the mojito but everything else was great!

I went there the 26 of August with my girlfriend and was enjoying a nice sashimi platter which was seriously overpriced for the plate you receive, I had made it most of the way through when the grain of what I had assumed to be a bit of rice started wiggling on my tuna. I quietly brought my plate to the servers attention and was told oh! Well remove that from your bill.... there shouldnt ever be a bill under these circumstances. Went straight to a pharmacist to get a nice dewormer pill that has made me feel like garbage for the last few days. Never eat here!

Two of had dinner on a Tuesday night. We were seated immediately. Our server was pleasant and friendly. The menu is sushi or an eclectic mix. We choose miso soup and jambalaya. Unfortunately our server forgot to put our order in to the kitchen so we had at least a thirty minute wait with no food while other tables turned over. Very frustrating. The miso soup was over cooked and no umami so really poor. The jambalaya was so soaked in hot sauce as to have no flavor, think hot sauce in rice. Since miso soup is such an integral part of sushi I m not inclined to try theirs. They do have patio seating

After seeing Google images, we had some reservations as the actual restaurant differed from shown. Nevertheless, we opted for the Tuna Tataki, which turned out to be delightfully spicy and delicious. Our only desire was for the servers to show more interest in our dining experience.

Very good loved it!

Service was horrible, had to ask for table to be cleared of dirty dishes, had to continually ask for drinks, not once was asked how the food was and to top it all off, an 18% gratuity was added to the bill because it was a table of 10 people.

This place is fantastic, the service is excellent and the food is memorable. I cant wait to go back and try more. I love the alcohol free options. So many choices. 5 stars!!! Dietary restrictions: Anything available for all types of diets!! Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available and kid friendly atmosphere.

Different location but same great food

Did was funky fusion styles. Ambience was pretty chill. Service a bit slow at times for such a small place, but overall pretty good.

We had a party of 15, and entres took about 1.5 hours to arrive. There were 5 steaks ordered in total, and when those dishes were brought to our table, it was unclear which was which in regards to steak preparation (rare vs medium). 3 out of the 5 steaks had to be sent back due to them being rare instead of medium /medium rare. I had requested no ice in my drink and it came to the table with ice. There was two appetizers that never made it to the table because their printer was broken. One of the steaks came to the table with fries instead of side salad. The miso soup I had ordered was clearly not mixed prior to pouring into the bowl because there was signs of bean curds. When I asked the server about this, she said we dont put bean curd into our miso soup which was bizarre because miso is made from bean curd (also the miso soup that my friend ordered looks murky and correct)

Great food quality and service. Beer choices were good but few. Loved the dessert. Parking: In off-season, either on the street or nearby paid lot.

Had the seafood jambalaya, volcano sushi roll, seafood sushizza, and salt and pepper pork ribs. All were excellent.

Showed up at 8:15 pm on a Friday night for drinks and an appetizer. The girl asked us if we had a reservation which we did not. She said that they were full. We asked if we could sit at the bar but she said no because they only had one bartender and thus were short staffed. Cannot speak to the food or the service but the initial interaction was weak. The girl was far too eager to turn us away. Oh well. Pass on the Firehouse Grill for now. Going to the Vault for drinks and pizza just around the corner.

Seems this restaurant has an identity crisis. They have a bit of pub food, a bit of southern food, and some Japanese sushi. But nothing is really good. Quality of food is average at best. Sushi isnt even Japanese sushi rice. Jambalaya is just tomato sau e with some light spices. Chicken wings were average at best, and the kids Hamburger meal was $14, a bit overpriced and didnt even come with a drink. The Hendricks with fresh cumuber martini was watered down and didnt come with fresh cucumbers.

Very much enjoyed the decor . The food was quite good. Prices were moderate. The server may possibly have been over worked or stressed. Wasnt quite as friendly as I would have expected. That is the only thing I would say that is not totally positive. I appreciated her service and tipped rather well

Hello Firehouse Grill, just stopped by this fantastic restaurant for a lunch for 2. The menu items are varied, tried couple sushi items, couple of other appys marked as favs. Requested everything be gluten-free to which they adjusted everything, including the type of coating used on the tempura. The food came and was amazing in flavour and presentation!! We were ultimately impressed at the level of quality!! Highly recommend the avacado crab balls Only thing that was a little off . Took 15 mins to get the bill after everything was done . Look forward to trying this restaurant again on our next trip to Nanaimo!!

Great friendly service, reasonable prices, great food and presentation and we left feeling stuffed. We had vegetable tempura and some sushi rolls, flavor was excellent. My only criticism is the the sushi rice texture was a little mushy.

The hamburgers are so delicious. Sushi is made like kimbap. I ordered two pieces of sushi separately. The miso soup was not tasty. Its worth waiting for the boat.

New location, same great food! I dont think theres a bad choice to be made on the menu. Thanks very much for another wonderful food experience!

Good food but very slow service. Be patient and you ll be rewarded. No liquor license (yet).

The food is fairly good, the service is so-so. I wish the menu choices included more grilled items, ordered a chicken sandwich and it was deep-fried.

This used to be one of our favourite places to eat. We ve enjoyed a few anniversary dinners here but this last visit we were not impressed with the new location, staff, or new menu. Very different vibe and speed than before. They didn t have the wine we ordered and had run out of Clamato by 7:45pm. Some of our favourites were removed from the menu as well. Not sure if it s new management or just the new location but this hasn t been a good change. Super sad :(

Fantastic, Fresh, Sushi!!!

Food was remarkable with some creative use of spices and sauces, 4.5 easily. The wait however was unacceptable 1.5 hr from seating to serving, on a Thursday when the place wasnt even full when we ordered. Great food, not worth the wait. Might be a different story for takeout.

Made a reservation for seven for a birthday dinner but didnt realize they had changed location. The new location does not have the same cozy atmosphere & service was really slow. We waited almost 10 minutes before getting our first drink & our drinks & meals came after two other tables that arrived after us. My food was really good but one of our guests baked salmon was raw in the middle. Although slow, the servers were friendly. Wouldnt go out of my way to go back.

A friend of mine and I tried to eat here for a late lunch yesterday. It was moderately busy, nothing crazy. We stood at the please wait to be seated sign, while the waitresses buzzed around, fully ignoring us. After about 10 minutes one of them said You ll have to wait . About 30 seconds later she came back into earshot. I said, would it be alright if we just sat down? . She rolled her eyes and said, well yes, but you ll still have to wait . We proceeded to sit at an empty table and she turned away to her computer and said you don t have to be a smartass . I asked pardon me, I didn t hear what you said there? . No response. After she was done at the computer, my friend and I were then rudely approached by her for picking the wrong table. She stated that There were other people, and reservations ya know? We left. Won t be going back.

Wow! Beautiful sushi presentations, awesome tasting even gluten free tempura that taste better than gluten tempura in my opinion! Also fantastic service!

Everything is worse than mediocre. Tuna tataki is covered in ground coffee,which is really weird to use instead of black sesame,poor taste. Fish and chips ok,there is no tartar sauce,but you get mayo instead Overall pretty bad,did not enjoy my visit and wont be coming there again

Ate here for lunch and it was great! Had the black and blue sushi roll and it was very tasty, as well as their miso soup. Husband had a variety of nigiri and it was all very fresh. Will definitely come back!

The jambalaya and crab dip are very tasty, and the service was great Not busy at all for lunch on a Saturday Food : 5/5

Don t let the name firehouse grill fool you, this restaurant offers a great variety of foods from your typical burgers and fries to an incredible sushi selection. I was blown away by the sushi and cocktails. Our server was very friendly and proud of the food he brought us. We have made a point of trying as many restaurants in Nanaimo as we can, and this one is currently our top rated. We will be back :)

Music was good but too loud.

I had a gift card to the Firehouse Grill so on a girls getaway we though we would stop in for lunch as we were passing through Nanaimo. We heard there sushi was to die for. Normally I am a very picky sushi eater and only order from very traditional places. But so many people have told me to try it at the firehouse.

Went in for a birthday dinner everything was awesome! I recommend a reservation. We were able to sit at the bar/window but they were fully booked.

My bf and I had a date night here with our little one and it was great. We started with the assorted tempura which was delicious and our mains were the tataki and jambalaya. Tbh we found the jambalaya had way to much bbq sauce and for us, we wouldnt get it again. Everything else was very enjoyable. Our server(s) were Chandra and Kelsey and both were amazing and tentative. Just based off of customer service I would go back again. Having a little one we dont get out much but this was worth it. Great service but the food is nothing amazing.

Keeping the name while changing the whole dynamic as well as the location really makes it seem like false advertising. They went from large and sophisticated to cramped and casual... its more like a cafe now.

Lovely place to get some good food and ther service is amazing. Parking is limited but it is downtown so you expect downtown parking. Most spots are paid parking. In the other hand all street parking is free at the weeknends just make sure its the public types because private parking is still in need of payment. The staff is amazing and helpful. It is suggested to tip here. The food is great. The burger is good and the sushi is surprising amazing. Also a great place to get food after walking near the pier.

I usually come here for the sushi and have no complaints, but this last visit, we tried the pub food and it was disappointing to say the least. I don t know how the move has affected them but the service was poor and our food was either bland or burnt. The building was cold, we were one of the few tables in there and the staff were constantly moving the remaining tables around. Being 1 of 3 groups, our food took a while to get to us, and when it came time to pay, our server forgot about us completely. We asked for some food as starters and it all came out together, the chicken was bland, the fries were soggy and the pulled pork was burnt. My mom ordered the 6oz steak and they brought her a 10oz and charged us regular price. I got a Long Island and I felt like I was drinking watered down alcohol. I wasn t impressed and won t be returning any time soon.

Dirtbag buisness owner dont believe the most visible reviews look at whole review list quality has gone down hill after the move but these things tend to happen when you downsize fire and lose staff and move to a worse location

Amazing service, atmosphere and of course FOOD! I ve never once been disappointed. Today we went in for the first time since they changed the location and I lived the quaint warm ambient vibe it still has. And huge thanks to the cheffiez for the amazing food and little bit of extra with their amazing garnishing. They always go above and beyond here.
