I'm not sure why you guys mix veggie pizzas with meat pizzas, twice ive gone in to grab a couple slices of veggie pizzas but they are always mixed on the same plate as meat pizzas! Seriously? Ive brought it upto them both times, people buying veggie pizzas don't normally like them touching the meat pizzas. I won't go back, it was my go to spot but not anymore. I'll go elsewhere for my veggie slices.
Decided to try something new today and support a business near my home, so I ordered from Local Pizza for the 1st time. Boy was I excited when I showed up to the empty restaurant at the stated pickup time to see the girl who was making the pizzas standing there aimlessly, and the guy looked around for my pizza and couldn't find it. He went to where the girl was standing, took the ticket down and looked at it and saw that it was mine. He stuttered for a second and LIED through his teeth, saying "Oh, your ticket never printed. We'll start making your order right away" and then put MY order ticket right back where it was! I then sat in my car for 15 minutes while they hurried through my pizza and I finally got it 50 minutes after I originally ordered it. Things happen, but why lie about it? The fact is that the girl just forgot that there was an order in front of her and the guy felt it was easier to lie than to admit that. In the end it was ok, not awful but mediocre at best. The quality wasn't worth the hassle and I won't be back.
5+ star service! We called ahead with some allergy related questions regarding the dairy free cheese and possible nuts in it. The manager was put on the phone and they specified each ingredient explicitly for us. They took us very serious and took their time in making sure it was okay. We then ordered online. It was a great deal and they delivered on the campground (Living forest) where we were camping. The delivery guy was very nice and delivered the food right on our campsite with a smile. The food was excellent, really good taste, good and plenty ingredients and the spicy Korean BBQ wings were also very good. Great experience and excellent service. Thanks a lot guys!!

Ordered delivery. Islander and Veg no real flavour like the description. It’s not bad but also not great. Crust is light, fluffy and doughy. They are light on the sauce and just ok on the toppings. Pasta was pretty good
Value for money !!! The day that I came to Nanaimo, Local pizza was the first food joint that I visited and I've had a few times from this branch. Incredible value for an extra large at 21$. BBQ chicken, islander, meat lovers, pesto chicken, Butter chicken and tandoori chicken are some that I've tried until now and I do love them all !! Local pizza definitely for the win if you're in Nanaimo!!

We checked it out due to it s 4.7 rating. Something is off about the rating. The pizza was floppy, greasy, and tasted old. The inside was dirty. Service was ok. Save your money Food
Rude staff and wrong order
We placed an order on May 17th at 5:30 pm. We were supposed to pick up the order at 6:00 I reached the store to pick up the order at 6:05 - the lady at the front said the order isn t ready as they didn t print the order. Upon this I requested to talk to the owner, the owner absolutely refused to talk as he didn t want to accept his mistake. He wants to grow the business? Lol Absolutely terrible customer service. Food quality, taste, not consistent. Waste of money!
We ordered 3 pizzas like we normally do when we order pizza from anywhere. Oh my gosh! There was so much on these pizzas and huge portions, we actually have leftovers for once! We ordered bbq chicken and Hawaiian, both were delicious!! Will definitely order again.

It used to be better but the last couple of times I went, theres been barely any toppings on the pizza. Which is sad because it used to taste really good.
Well made, tasty pizza at a great price. I dont know how they do it, but the reviews here dont lie. This is a super deal for really good pizza.

Has a similar taste as a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Nothing special unless your comparing it to panago or other operating units that do quick low quality, low cost food from sysco supplier.

The owner is awesome! I work at bc ferries and he had a large order that he was told via customer, was at departure bay, however it was at duke point. He gave it to me to give out to the terminal staff! 5 pizzas went a long way after a crazy busy Canada Day long weekend!!

Cross contamination is terrible, being vegetarian, I wasnt expecting meat buried in my cheese slice, nor in my vege slice. As much as I have enjoyed having these guys close by , I will not be going here anymore
We ordered here for my sons VR birthday party for 11:30 they answered the phone at 10:30, took the order was there at 11:30. All the kids and parents loved it. Good price for what you get and very great service and customizations
Absolutely pathetic in terms of service. I was declined service due the manner of which I placed my payment on the counter. Not in any rude manner at all. Absolutely amazing! Great food, outstanding service. Had a small gathering, and ordered delivery, when our delivery guy shows up he points out we have no napkins or plates, so he goes and gets us some and brings us plates and napkins... he went above and beyond!!! Will be ordering from them again for sure!!!!! Pizzas not greasy, light and very flavorful!!!!

Simply cannot believe it never has had a business offer a free slice for review promo and then Once I ve left my review, before they give me the free pizza, asked me to change my review to5 star instead of the three that I gave it. Well I changed it to five, to get the free pizza and now I m changing it to one because that s just not how you do business! You all must really be desperate for customers! Freshslice was way better!! I miss freshslice pizza. I wish it would come back .
Good pizza but the reviews are paid for. Had it at 4 stars (my honest review) and when I showed it to them for the free meal they asked me to change it to 5 stars. Thats why I changed it to 2.

I just grabbed a medium pizza, half The Canuck (Pepperoni and Mushroom) and half Tandoori Chicken, it was delicious! The value is top notch and their pizza was the best Ive had here in Nanaimo. The owner and staff are friendly and very hospitable. I highly recommend you pay them a visit. Dont go to the same regular old big franchises, check out LOCAL Pizza!

Decent pizza, only two sizes, and toppings are fairly generic I would have given it at 3.5*. Vegetarian options: You can get whatever toppings they have, its a pizza place obviously you can get vegetarian.
I came in last Wednesday and the guy at the counter taking my order was very nice, respectful and was very quick to take my order. Food was great and I definitely recommend!
