The food was amazing! Chana masala and Aloo Gobi so so good. Good portion and price. Saffron rice can have a bit more seasoning but that’s just my personal opinion as my partner liked it more. Great food here and will be back
Did not receive complete order and when I pointed it out they refused to provide missing items. They suggested they could only make it up on next order. Rude behaviour, over-priced dishes, and poor customer service. Will not return.
Finally! The best tasting traditional indian food. Im making it a mission to try each and every item they have. The only downside to this place is location. Hard to park and a bit dodgy area. But hey, ill go through whatever shitstorm coming my way to have their food. Super tasty, excellent variety, and oh their dessert is fresh as fresh can be. Delish.
Amazing food and lots of options of sweets very nice staff good service
I have ordered chicken tikka and it was all burnt and uncooked chicken. Very disappointing. They were good before but now their food is not delicious and also wastage of money.
Finally an Indian restaurant in Nanaimo that makes more traditional, authentic chicken curry like you would have in Vancouver or Surrey. All the restaurants in Nanaimo use large chunks of white meat, thrown into the sauce at the time of serving the dish, with no preparation. This is so the sauce can be used for other curries and to reduce prep time. The meat shouldn't be white as snow inside when you bite into it, it should be the same colour as the curry cooked all the way through. These guys use dark meat, smaller chunks, cooked into the curry , that's traditional ... thanks Maduban !
I have induan family that always makes me my favorite Chicken korma and I always look for a place that makes good Naan bread before I order a full meal. These guys know what they are doing and I'm excited for my next order. Keep up the excellent work your food is fantastic and so tasty.
We got an assortment of amazing sweets! I wish i could remember all the names, the flavors were so delicate and satisfying thats all that mattered! Honey sweetened delights with mixtures of textures make any time a joy to have!

This is an amazing indian restaurant with really good food quality and taste. Staff and owners were also very welcoming and down to earth. We ordered Chana Bhatura and Aaloo(Potato) parantha for breakfast, it was amazing, even their chai tea was so good. Really good. We will visit again for sure. Vegetarian options: Chana Bhatura was awesome and even their sweets were really good.
Overall good food
Food was amazing. Choley bhaturey and Aloo prantha was a big hit. Full of flavours. Food was well prepared. We love the ambience and hospitality of the staff. We even tried their ladoos and I can tell those were the best one I have ever tried in canada. If you are in Nanaimo must visit this restaurant

Best chana bhatura till now
If youre looking for authentic Indian food you should go for it. They offer tastiest food with best quality. I had Chana Bhatura and Aloo parantha and they were so delicious. Even their sweets are amazing. Overall a great place to eat. Food
Excellent food, so flavorful, we enjoyed every dish including Navratan Korma, Aloo Gobi, Lamb Bhuna Gosht, and Prawn Curry. The plain naan was excellent too as well as the sweet lassi and strawberry lassi. We visited on 29 July, 2024. They took us late at night, one of few restaurants open late in Nanaimo, and they spared no effort to make excellent meals for us and to give good service. The parking on side of building is a little odd with a gravel lot and weeds, kind of informal, and not accessed from the main street but instead is accessed from around the back, but dont let that prevent you dining here, we were glad to have the parking. Would visit again if in Nanaimo, as I still havent forgotten the tasty spice mix of my meal! Vegetarian options: Yes they have plenty of vegetarian options, very good!

Madhuban as the name suggests Madhu - Sweet and Ban - Garden. They indeed have a garden of sweet and delicious dishes. The Indian sweets they serve is worth a try. They have a very specific taste and honestly, I didnt get the taste in India as well. I love it!!

The food and every one at the restaurant are awesome. If you are staying anywhere near a must try restaurant. Worth every cent and totally inexpensive. We ordered first time in door dash the food is good. We went next morning to dine-in. Vegetarian options: Kadai paneer, two roti and samosas

I was hoping to find an authentic delicious Indian food, sadly the majority of the food tasted sweet and there was not much any other flavour in it. The washroom could use some attention. Too bad, because the place has a character and with some effort it could be very good. Price was reasonable. Vegetarian options: There is not much vegetarian options for main dishes. Two first items are lentils if I remember correctly and the rest of the dishes is all with paneer in different variations. Almost no vegetables included, maybe some bellpeppers in couple of dishes. Seems like they cutting on ingradients and just change the gravy to make a new dish. Disappointed.

I just loved this place. We had our son s birthday celebration and dinner with friends. Staffs here were so friendly, food was super delicious with outstanding services. Just name it and you get it. Prices were affordable too. Will highly recommend this place to the general public.

I ordered lamb curry + you have option to choose naan or rice , lamb curry was sour and mostly tomato pury, not upto my expectations for native Indians.

Very bad taste, they made the dal makhni & paneer tikka masala in the same gravy. The food tasted really bad & extra sweet while never a dal makhni is sweet in taste. The service was really slow. The person on the counter was using his phone instead of focusing on service all the time & delaying.
