We just had had takeout , beef and brocoli and noodles … terible cold noodles soft mushy …. And mushroom chowmein , this place is a waste of money …. Do not eat here

I paid $18 for 7 wings that should have been under $10. These guys should be ashamed at what they are charging. It’s not even like it’s great atmosphere that you’re paying for. My server was great, but not enough to make up for their prices. Even the drinks are overpriced. You pay top shelf prices for bottom shelf liquor. I went here based off such high reviews and after my experience am thinking they bought all the positive reviews. Go anywhere else in the city and pay the same amount but walk away full. Now I have to go somewhere else to eat so I’m not starving. Don’t waste your money here folks
#Firstvisit was 👍 cashed out more then I put in.... only came because we were so close. Courtyard.... came back second day and ate dinner and it was delicious And our 12 year veteran made us feel at home. #cheerful #atmosphere Silver fox at the door also had a good sense of humor. Will stop in again when in town
I only wish that I got the server that helped us, her name. She was absolutely amazing and she helped us every time that we went in here to eat. I was in town for Brett Kissell concert and I stated a hotel right next-door and decided to just eat at the casino every day. And it was a fantastic experience. The food was so good the nachos. Oh my gosh so good And the service was amazing so friendly and I would definitely recommend going and eating here.
The food was good 👍🏽 the portion was just right 💯 service with a smile both times I ate here 🌝 The beef dip was nice with the toasted bun and dip, nice crunch with the fries ❣️ then the clubhouse sandwich 🥪 is on point! Done real nice 🔥 the menu has decent options 👌🏽 A good place to eat, I loved the cheesecake they have ❤️ Located inside the casino Worth checking it out 🙂
Just found this little jewel of a place inside a Casino. Service was top notch and the food delicious. Not your average casino restaurant. Very casual, comfy and a meal you can afford!

9:30 pm (Sunday March 10th) We waited to be seated in the restaurant, and we were both completely ignored. 3 or 4 girls (servers) standing around chatting, too busy to notice customers waiting to be seated. A shame, I used to enjoy the restaurant I won t be back for the food here again.
Very unappealing, no window, dark and dirty, poor service with mediocre food with big prices. Had to look for a clean table, wasnt busy with a long wait for basic lunch items. unfriendly waitress that couldnt bother to bring water to everyone at the table, only one water brought. Doesnt compare to the match eateries in other casinos. Do not recommend.

Phoned in to ask if UFC event would be aired and was told no. We came in anyway and it was on all tvs. Nachos were burnt and cheese sparse, found a hair in the sour cream. Hubby finished his beer and was never asked if hed like another. Absolutely terrible- would not recommend and well never go back. I would have chosen zero stars if it was an option.
Just a fail roast beef dinner was cold and burnt corn for vegetables
Ive eaten here a few times, the fish and chips is good, but last night I had the BBQ chicken and ribs. It was hands down the best meal that I have ever had in Nanaimo. I tried to go back today to have an order of straight ribs but missed the kitchen hours. See you tomorrow!

I feel that before Covid the menu had more choices. As well as missing the buffets, pasta specials and the live music. Food is still good though for whats available. And its a friendly atmosphere with friendly staff.

Honestly one star is a stretch. My husband s first experience here was horrible, waiting over 2 hours to have his dinner brought to him, while everyone else around him was being served dessert? Racism is alive and well at The Well
Went here with some family while we had some fun at the Casino. Great food, huge portions, and our service person was excellent. We will definitely be going back again.
Most rude service I have had in quite some time. Carrie was the waitress and a man were on staff. Over 8 minutes waiting before even being acknowledged we were waiting at the front for a table. Waitress rolled her eyes multiple times when we asked what beer was on tap and if there were any daily specials. Waited 20 mins for ketchup. Just a terrible overall experience. The attitude and lack of customer service was absolutely ridiculous.
Guy at door was extremely rude. Patrons fighting with staff at the bar. Super long wait times. First and last time there and we didn t even sit down. Won t be back
The best beef dip in BC!
Possibly the worst restaurant on the island. All their advertisement photos are not even the actual cafeteria you sit in. Ordered the pulled chicken burgers. We couldn t even eat our food it was so terrible. Server took away our full plates of food and offered no options for a different meal or discount. Don t go here.
The food tasted bland(had pulled cajun chicken) the cajun flavor was just a sprinkling of black pepper and was strangely very wet which made the bun so soggy. Left hungrier than when I went in.

Had a quick bite after work with a girlfriend and ordered the Poutine! Food was really good and fresh! Presentation was very professional, Waitress was friendly and professional, & It didnt take too long for my food to arrive. There are a few more things on the menu I would like to try so I will be going back again soon!
Had to use take out boxes and plastic silverware, dishwasher was broken, but all turned out ok

If you call for The Well Public House restaurant, the call goes to the casino front desk and they don t have a clue what is actually going on with the restaurant. Poor organization and wasted 15 minutes of our evening. Restaurant also looked pretty bland and is part of the casino, so it s a loud busy setting.
I dont know why anyone would diss the well . Its cheap as hellz yeah , and the foods decent . I love it . As a middle aged male that wants to eat alone in the dark and not see anyone I know ---- I LUV IT

we went to the casino for some slots then hit the well public house for some nachos with my family after! the nachos were actually so good. can t say that many places in nanaimo have good nachos. atmosphere and services was great too.

Good basic food for a reasonable price. Quite like casino fare. Steak with garlic toast and salad was just that. No potato or veggie side.
Excellent buger and fries , home made patty and hot fries wirh delicious gravy.
