Subway in Nanaimo

I work across the street and get a tuna sub bi-weekly always good exaclt how I like it and the guy in the raptors hat is a good vibe

Pathetic staff to deal with. Specially Soufin (so called Manager) - he wanted to call security on me for me just asking to replace the sandwich for overcooked bread. Seriously!! I will never go to this place again!! Highly unprofessional staff.

My son very likes to eat here.

Manager at this location has a temper and consistently makes customers feel unwelcome and that they are an inconvenience to his day. I have spoken to many other people experiencing the same terrible customer service from someone who is supposed to be in a leadership position.

So I was in awhile ago to get a 6 sub, and Soufin, the manager , when he cut the 12 he literally missed the middle and cut me off like 1/4th of a piece. I politely asked to get a new one that was cut in an actual 6 , and he just got super frustrated and exclaimed it was a 6 . I politely remarked that it wasn t, and he finally begrudgingly grabbed another one, and proceeded to throw my sub together in a very aggressive manner, and the rest of the transaction was very rude and awkward.

Worst experience Ive ever had at a fast food industry. I ordered 2 subs, they were ice cold upon arrival, they got everything on the subs backwards, just completely mixed up and when I tried calling the restaurant to talk to a manager about it, no one answered. I tried calling 3 times, not a single answer. Highly frustrating and seemingly terrible customer service. So unhappy.

Subway at Port Place Nanaimo. Hands down worst in the city. Surly staff. 3 sandwich artists working today, each as incompetent and haphazard as the next.

Rude management and staff specially the guy Soufin - this person is extremely rude & constantly yells at customers and shows all weird gestures. I don t understand how Subway is compromising its reputation with such incompetent and absurd person on job. Definitely not going to this location ever again because of this guy named SOUFIN.

Disgusting sub.Vegetables were old and soggy, bread was flat. The guy making my sub was ignorant. The Bowen location is way better.

Whats wrong with the staff? Why are they so rude, unkind, frown faced, unwelcoming? @Management, please take a note, and train your staff or increase their pay so that they dont pass their negative attitude to customers. Vegetarian options: Very less veg options

We went today at this location and the way of talking of the manger named Saufin was so rude and aggressive, he was shouting on customers for no reason. He should be fired , he was disrespecting the customer, so give respect take respect . never gonna visit this location again not even my friends

no pickles, not good

I ordered online yesterday and went there and he told me you have to wait 15 min with really bad attitude. I went there today again and I thought I ordered online but my ordered wasnt complete and I told him doesnt really matter I have to wait even if I ordered online. He started yelling and he checked my label and said my name and he said if you have opinion I also have option. I said I dont want argue with you and I just want to order food. He said no wait and he was yelling. He was really angry and he really didnt have good attitude and apparently he was a manager and Im so sorry for for Subway for having this crazy manager. If you look at him he was full of anger and Im so sorry for him. It was my last time ordered from this location. Sorry for having this crazy manager.

Decent service but have the prices ever gone up. $28 for 2 meals. Could have eaten at a better place for that price.

I got charged extra for the guacamole in my Steak and Guacamole Grilled Wrap Does guacamole not come with these guacamole wraps? I also had to take my wraps apart to figure out which had the hot peppers

Not usually one to write my reviews but holy moly. Honestly blown away at how good the service was for only having 1 staff on, never had such a good sandwich in my life. And I used to be a fellow sub enthusiast. Shoutout to the little lady running the show. Awesome food.

Friendly and kind, fix mistakes without issue though tend to be unprepared and training seems subpar at times, inconsistent information about what double means for instance. Got charged for stuff I never got and are not ready for business when open for over half an hour. Wish I could review higher because the service itself has always been excellent. But thats a pretty major flaw in their practice as several customers have to leave because they (understandably) didnt want to wait 30+ minutes for equipment to be ready after its been open.

We ate there last year and just ate there again on the weekend, both times friendly service. Our sandwichs where fantastic! Quick service, freash and super yummy

I am highly disappointed at this establishment. The assistant manager refused to give me the name of his manager because my complaint was NOT valid in his eyes. Instead he defended his colleague, crossed his arms and said I was wrong. Businesses like these are simply not worth our business, during times like these. I hope this employee gets demoted, gets the desired training (on compassion and basic human decency). So rude! And to tone his volume down. Do order at any other order Subway in Nanaimo, metal drive location employees are always so kind! Reaching out in hopes to speak to the manager at Terminal location- directly.

Just ordered a meat ball sub about half an hour ago and the meatballs were cold.

I always get good service here and they do their very best to make my sandwich the way I like. Anytime I have ever had an issue they are quick to make it right. I had trouble getting the right amount of sauce on my sub when using the app but they again helped to make it right. Although I cant use the app I will still use this location for all my subway needs.

Walked in and all three employees were not wearing a mask.

It seems every Sunday their toaster oven isn t working. Poor customer service. Won t be going to this location again

I have only been there once and actually they were not very nice to me or my friend. So they need to learn that the customer is always right with in boundaries of course but bad tempers are not part of the job.

I just recently went to this subway earlier today and after I ordered my sandwich I had to wait almost 10 minutes to pay for my food because the cashier was taking a long time to deal with another customers transaction issue and I did let the cashier know that he took too long and that I was in a hurry to go catch the bus and his exact words were oh Im sorry about that. I get that these things happen but it should not take more than 10 minutes to resolve another customers problem and I will not be coming back because of the long wait I had to deal with cuz this is not acceptable

My husband went tonight well befor closing time and they had locked the doors. The one man( had a blube name tag) just stared at my husband hopeing he would leave for over five minutes till he finally let him in. He was EXTREMELY RUDE not only to my husband but also to the other employee. Eventually the other man (wih he man bun) took over serving my husband who did a great job. As my husband was leaving (beauce the one man told him he was not aloud to eat there) he noticed another couple trying to get into the subway but they had locked them out to and were blatantly ignoring them. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Pretty much everytime I go to this subway Im looking for cream based soups and they only ever have tomatoe basil and chili they also mostly have onion soup. I went in today just for a drink which takes less than minute to punch in. I was told Id be helped then was ignored. How hard is it to punch in a single cup. Seriously I get you had a line but it would have taken a second and you could have done it while someones sandwich was toasting. I worked fast food. I go above and beyond for my customers so I expect the same effort when I come to spend my money here

Worst service

Horrible service, overy priced. Also closed at least 15 minutes before advertised any given night. I cant give less than one star. So I am gonna say Zero.

Worst service Ive had in a long time, 20 minutes to get my food with maybe 6 people in front of me. Prices seemed higher than normal aswell? The woman making my sandwich didnt remove her gloves when handling other things that werent food and forgot what I told her I wanted multiple times. No apology for my time or anything. Only recommendation I can give is to spend your money elsewhere.

Out for an early morning run when I ran out of water. Stopped here for a quick water refill, the staff was friendly and cheered me on my run.
