One of the best halal places to eat out in Nanaimo. Their food is fresh and delicious. Would recommend everyone to try this place. The servers are friendly too. One more thing would like to add that their washroom was very clean during our visit.

The wraps were very small and not worth the price

My partner and I just stopped in for lunch. First time, and it wont be the last. Halal Certified, clean facility, friendly and efficient staff made for a pleasant experience. We ordered the Gyro Wrap and the Beef Shwarma Wrap both as a combo with Fries and a Pop. The food was made with delicious and fresh ingredients, the fries crispy & hot. We left feeling full and satisfied. Thanks again, Pita Land.

We have been here twice this month. Absolutely the best chicken shawarma on the Island. Coming from Ottawa where there is a shawarma on every corner, we thought we were not going to find a equivalent to Ottawa. Well, we found it at Pita Land and to boot the service is outstanding.

I recently visited Pita Land Food court and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The quality of food was outstanding.I tried shawarma nd it taste really good. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and efficient, making the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. I had two of the shawarmas (1 beef, 1 chicken) last night, they were delicious! Good price and good portions as well as large selection and dietary variations. Gagandeep went above and beyond on the service and the food. Not to mention, he threw in a little bit of lentil soup for me to try (delicious) as well. It was a heartwarming experience because while Gagan was making the food we had a wonderful conversation as well. I hope you get to see your girlfriend soon. Poutine was good, but the beef Shawarma was dry, wrap was all ripped to hell, and meat was bland and extremely tough to chew. Three bites and threw it in the garbage. It could very well have been just a bad day in there, but it was so bad I wouldnt waste another $20 to try again. Expensive for such a tiny wrap as well. Makes you really appreciate Donair Dude even more.

Pitaland is a fantastic establishment, the food is exquisite and the staff are very friendly! They have fast and effective service all while delivering your food very well portioned and delicious looking! When it comes to their Pita boxes theyre very generous, I got the half Yellow Rice, half fries with chicken and added feta, all topped off with some salt/pepper, Tzatziki and Tahini. I highly recommend this fine establishment!

Wide variety menu , Disappointed in the flavor though! I got the mix kebab plate , the chicken kebab had 0 flavor, the beef was better yet still disappointed. Also tried the Falafel wrap, was better than the plate I guess but was SHOVED with lettuce to fill up the wrap ! Dont mean to sound harsh but Im middle Eastern and this is not authentic and flavor was bland from my opinion

Friendly staff, but the food was disappointing. The veggies werent very fresh, and while the souvlaki chicken was good, the shawarma chicken had pieces of very hard dry meat and/or bone throughout that made it unpleasant to eat. The beef was also very chewy, and the baklava tastes just like frosted flakes.

More setup for picking up your food. Lots of parking and very nearby to other establishments so you can do some side shopping while they make your food. All in all, amazing food.

Disgrace to middle eastern food. They GRILLED THE WRAPS AFTER BEING WRAPPED IN PRINTED PAPER SMOKING UP THE PLACE. The chicken was not served from the rotisserie despite having one. They don t have garlic sauce. No, Tzatziki is not garlic despite what the staff says.

Pita Land offers incredibly tasty, juicy, and mouth-watering dishes. I highly recommend trying their potato bowl and mix wrap.

The staff are very friendly, they were all smiles and very welcoming as they served customers. The Lebanese food is tasty and Halal. Got Shawarma, Chicken Souvlaki and Baklava. You have the option to custom make your own wrap which is better for me personally. They have dine in, delivery and take out options.

This was my first time at Pita Land, Nanaimo and I very satisfied with my experience! I was greeted warmly by who I am assuming is the owner, the restaurant itself was very clean and tidy and the food - the food was amazing! So fresh and flavourful, large portions and flavours that are really hard to find in Nanaimo. I would highly recommend PitaLand to anyone wanting seriously delicious middle eastern food at a reasonable price! I ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo! Thanks again, we will be back! I ordered the chicken shawarma on rice and samosas on the side. Both were excellent! The shawarma was large enough for dinner and leftovers for lunch. The samosas had enough spice without being overpowering. Service was excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient. Got my order quickly despite being busy.

Flavour profiles are perfect. Excellent spice mixes for proteins, sides are fresh. Only constructive feedback is the extra hot hot sauce could be spicier. 5/5 would eat there again - its a gem.

Ordered from Door Dash, and I was disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Kabab Potato Bowl. They put on way too much sauce. I couldnt taste the chicken or the potatoes. The only way I could tell which is which was by the texture. There was nothing else, no veggies so it was too rich to eat. I lost interest after 4 bites. Look at the difference between my bowl and the advertised bowl. This was a $23 item. Do better! Make this right or Im not ever coming back.

This is a super nice place to eat! It does not feel like your run of the mill fast food place. The food is really nice and has great portions, we had the gyro plate and the chicken shawarma plate. I think the salad was a nice addition and added some acidity and freshness to the food. The personnel was really kind and felt genuine in their help and conversation making. We would definitely recommend eating here. Vegetarian options: They seemed to have good vegetarian options. One of the guys working here told us he is vegetarian as well, and could recommend us his favorites.

Pita Land is my go to for a great tasty treat. I usually have a chicken shawarma wrap but there is nothing on the menu that I wouldnt recommend.

Travelled to Nanaimo from Toronto for a work trip. Decided to try the Pita Land there as it s a favourite back home. The service and quality were unmatched, so I went back to eat there again on the same trip. Definitely would recommend, 10/10!

I speak sign language a lot and when in last night for my favorite wrap I accidentally used sign when saying Thank You at the end, I was embarrassed and ashamed when I saw them making fun of it as I left. This food is incredible and truly was a favorite but when being made fun of it broke my heart as a sign user. Very sorely disappointed, though cant deny the food was good.... just wish I didnt see them laughing at the end :(

Nice new place in town for a quick bite to eat. Chicken shawarma, falafel and beef options. Theres rice bowls, burger options, build your own salad, wraps. Lots of fresh ingredients, sauce choices and fresh/hot protein. Seems the average meal will cost $12-$17ish per person. This is a much better option than drive thru fast food and roughly the same price. Id highly recommend checking this place out and will be returning. Vegetarian options: There is falafel on the menu, refer to my photo for veggies (the pink ones are pickled turnip). Dietary restrictions: My partner is Keto and had zero issues here.

The guy running the place is a good man! I was having lunch at the place today. While eating, a senior lady came in. Not only that she was treated with full respect and patience helping her to choose what to eat, the guy did not allow her to pay for her food. He even kept asking her if she needed anything else or anything else to drink! Respekt!!! Full stars for kindness!!
