This is a great place. They don t on the customer. We saw it with all the tables not just because I was the cutest. Highly recommended there were lots of meatballs with the spaghetti and meatballs. They have a kids menu.

Was disappointed by the staff and food... For a group we spent $50 dollars per person in our party ... the food tasted less then prepackaged store bought favor of the food was not good for the price... hopefully you can remedy it soon otherwise I will continue to take my business to Kingston

Chicken parm, veal marsala very dry. Had to ask for extra sauce. Extra , charge of 15 dollars, I did agree to, was way to much for quality. I ended up paying 36 dollars and not great. I, figured they would reduce the cost of the chicken breast not used. Caprese salad and caesar salad were excellent as was the service from Emma. Friendly with smile. Wont rush back

I tried this restaurant about a month ago and I ordered the Italian Summer Salad, and I was so impressed, today I ordered the same dish and it looked like it was just thrown together and had no soul to it. What Happened...?? I can still change my rating if I see and tase the food and hope its has more consistency.

Lovely place with incredible staff, service, and food!!!! Travelled from Ottawa with my wife to spend Remembrance Day and attend the ceremony with her father who is a veteran. Post ceremony we decide to head to Jimmis for lunch and let me tell you what an AMAZING idea that was. I started with a tomato soup, and that was by far the very best tomato soup I have ever had, period, and the homemade bread they give you with it is to die for, soft on the inside and nice crust on the outside. My wife had the Braised Beef mac and cheese, I had the Spaghetti and Meatballs, and my father in-law had the Penne Bolognese and I speak for all of us when I say that we were all very impressed by the quality, and freshness of the food. Real Italian food at its VERY best! The lovely young lady who served us was exceptional, very attentive and had a great personality (not many waitresses in this day and age open up your beer and pour it for you at the table, I really appreciated that as it makes you feel right at home). And just when we thought we had been served all the greatness they could offer, they went even further by discounting my father in laws meal in recognition of his military service. So all in all, what a great place, amazing folks, atmosphere, and I simply cannot wait to go back again. I am already thinking of what I will have next time. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch with family on Saturday. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding! I ordered the Dante s Inferno focaccia sandwich and I was so impressed with the flavours and fresh ingredients. I ll be back again! Kid-friendliness: My daughters, ages 10 and 12, loved the Margherita flatbread and the Mama s Spaghetti & Meatballs.

Second time in for lunch. Served by Jessica. What a change of scenery when the food is delicious, timely delivery, smiles from the server and a great atmosphere. Need to put shades on the windows up front but makes the atmosphere bright and lovely. Great place. Great people and great service.

Ive been here 4 times in the past 3 months. I usually order the classic veal parm. The first 2 times the veal was a good size however the last 2, the veal was about a quarter of the size. I asked the server and they said that they were not told why...but thats all you get now...I can see reducing it by a quarter....maybe half...but its robbery serving that little veal at the price you are charging. The food is great, just ripping us customers off....Wont be back

My new favorite restaurant in the region! Authentic homestyle Italian food. The handcrafted foccacia bread left me wanting more. The staff was prompt, personable, and not hovering. The portions were on point to the value. Im looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu. Well done, everyone!!!

Friends brought us here. Food was excellent and portions are very good. The spinach and sun dried tomato dip deserves a special mention, try it. Price is definately fair. Place is very clean, including the washroom. I will be back again.

Honestly some of the best food I have ever eaten. Fair prices. The home made pesto is to die for. The shrimp and zucchini fritters are amazing. The eggs Benny brunch is really good as well. I usually leave scathing restaurant reviews but this place is worth it. Wish I live close Id eat here at least once a week.

My wife and I went there with another couple today for lunch. We were excited about going as we heard it was good. Unfortunately,our experience wasnt. My wife ordered the chicken parm sandwich,and asked for mushrooms with it. She got the veal sandwich instead. The waitress did ask if she wanted to send it back for the right one, but my wife said no, as all the other food was at the table. The side of mushrooms was $4.95. I had the veal as well. The sandwich was unmanageable. I dismantled it to eat it because it was too thick to eat with your hands. The veal was tough and tasteless. We hardly ate any of it but the chips were good. And please turn down the music. On the other hand,we will probably go back to this establishment,and order something else another time. The other couples dishes looked fine. Just being honest...

Very yummy, though. Kid-friendliness: A kids menu is available. Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk slopes down to parking lot level. Observing a wheelchair user, the front entrance seemed somewhat difficult to navigate. Doors are somewhat heavy without an automatic open, and theres a small foyer that poses a challenge. Accessible seating is readily available.

I went with friends who knew the background of this restaurant....it was a fun fact about the individual dishes, handpicked from thrift stores that made this experience so unique and fun. The food was awesome and the portion sizes were great. What made my experience extra special was our server Nicole. Her joyous personality and positivity made the visit extra amazing. After many months of waiting for the hype to somewhat die down, I finally tried this place for sunday lunch. We were seated right away; however it took a while to be served with ordering as one female server was working on the floor. The ambient music was a little too loud and at times it felt like I was fighting to talk over the music and vgeneral volumes from other customers in the nearby booth. The food was excellent and arrived in a timely manner. I had ordered their Marco Polo Carbonara and my dad had some sort of salad with a side order of grilled chicken. The food looked very presentable, mouthwatering and it did not disappoint. It was a pleasent-ish experience.

The customer service was great but the food on the other hand was not. I got an iced latte which was good but the tiramisu was horrible. The coffee soaked lady fingers were hard and def not soaked in coffee & the order only included 2 lady fingers, for 10 dollars they can atleast add more. Really wanted to love the food but super disappointed.

Took a group of 12 (4 kids, 8 adults) for dinner on Saturday. Food ranged from Spaghetti and meat balls, carbonara, the lemon shrimp pasta, sausage and peppers pasta, marry me chicken, pesto and flat breads. Not a single complaint, the food was hot, delicious and our server was fantastic. Highly recommend. Great local spot.

We took friends on Saturday for breakfast. My hubby and I had been a few times...I really like their eggs Benny. My friend said it was on of the best Benny ever. They use to be served on Focaccia.... Everything else was excellent BUT it seemed to be a crusty bread stick and not very much of it..I much prefer he Focaccia, not so hard to cut or eat into... OMG.... Our server Sean was absolutely incredible .A right gem... He made the experience unforgettable...

I had Shawn as a waitor, he served myself and my parents and my aunt and uncle from out of town, the food was all homemade I had the notorious parm sandwich with homemade chips and it was abouslotly delusions shawns service was amazing and very welcoming and informative I also had my 2 months old baby with me and he was super quite and I can say he enjoyed the atmosphere, and so did I the music was perfect for background noise and the Inside is fresh and clean and loved the details of the decor, if it was not hot out side I would of sat outside the patio is beautiful Kid-friendliness: I was able to have my stroller inside with my baby nice and spaces to have the stroller as well

Sean (hope I spelled this right) was a delight. He anticipated our needs (drinks, to go boxes) before we even had to ask. He was such a wonderful, sunny personality who really brightened my day. I loved that the flags made it obvious that the LGBTQ+ community is welcome here, and certainly put me more at ease. :) The food was good and plentiful. The chips served with my sandwich were addictively good and plentiful. Normally, I have no trouble finishing my food, but the portions were HUGE, especially for the very reasonable prices. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and will try the tiramisu next time. :)

Service was not what one would expect from a mediocre establishment, food was worse. The dishes were bland, alot of pasta, not much else. Veggies are in season, no excuse to not have great tasting dishes but the reality was lack Lustre. Ingredients were processed, not fresh, no bread with the meals, no water offered, no cracked pepper offered, no parm offered. Save your money and disappointment and go to east sides for a low end italian dish. At least bread, water and salad are plentiful. If flavour is what your looking for, try any of the Italian places in kingston or belleville. A tossed dart at the board will land you a better meal than what they offer here. Too bad, the owner put a lot off effort into making the place look good. I wish the food and service was on par.

Went for the first time today with my wife who comes from an Italian family and I dont think there has ever been a restaurant where she loved the pasta dish as much as the one she had today, she said it was as good as her Nonnas cooking and that says alot! heard the rumours so went to check out the place and were not disappointed. first, our server, Ryan was attentive, engaging and so much fun. my pasta dish, Nonna in the Garden was divine!! absolutely memorable and I will return for more. Ryan recommended the Tiramisu and he wasnt wrong - best Ive ever had. the decor is super fun but the booths are tight if you are on the larger side and the other seating looked very uncomfortable - quite tiny metal chairs. they do have picnic tables on the patio. I live over 3 hours away and I will be sure to plan a return trip!

Fantastic food! Clean washrooms and eating area! All pasta is made on site. Very good gluten options if thats a concern. Flavourful, and nice presentation with good portion. Only complaint, I like a full water glass at all times. Had to ask for a water refill. I had an ice tea also, very small glass. No spoon was with utensils, so had to ask for one as I enjoy eating pasta using a spoon and fork combo. I will be back!

Food and service bang on. This aint fast italian food. It might not be your style, but its very well done. They tried and succeeded in overcoming their parking-lot-side locale, but in my mind they belong in a better venue. Mushroom appetizer was downright perfect.

Absolutely loved this place. Was thinking it was going to be expensive but its very affordable, and great portions. Theres not a lot of places that I walk into, that the smell just hits you. Group of five of us sat on the patio this evening and it was great. The highlight was our server NATE. Most hospitable, sweet young man who juggled our various drink and food orders like a pro with a sense of humour to boot. NATE is the reason we will be back!

I really was excites to try this. However, I was really disappointed. I ordered the veal parm on a bun. It was super dry and I felt like the veal was a breaded frozen piece ud get in a bag at country traditions. For the price of $25 for a drink and sandwich, I was not that pleased unfortunately. The other ingredients were fresh.. the foccacia was good as well, however huge for this little piece of dried up veal. Im willing to try something else again.. however, I am super disappointed. I have been waiting excitedly to try this new place and didnt meet my expectations.

Wonderful dinner last night at Jimmis- penne pesto shrimp dish and sausage and pepper penne dish were excellent- served up fresh and in a timely manner. Service was excellent- waiter took care of our needs without being overbearing. Prices are excellent for the quality of food you are getting. We will definitely be returning.

First time customers, and would definitely return. Ryan, our server, was friendly, attentive, efficient, etc. Restaurant was busy.. and all staff appeared to work as a team, assisting each other for overall efficiency and great customer service. Our food was good, served hot and fresh... !

The waiter Shawn was Amazing we can not say enough how great the food and service was. Everyone was awesome there . They helped celebrate Pauls bday , it was perfect.

A nice setting inside and outside. It was busy but we had a table quickly. Breadsticks were delicious. Penne were too spicy and fettuccine was good but not hot. A few suggestions; Serve crusty Italian bread as part of meal, serve freshly grated parmesan , include a spoon with fettuccine and spaghetti. Waiter never asked us if we wanted coffee or dessert.

We went to jimmis last night for the first time there was a little wait but it was worth it we got the cheese dip it was very good just wish the chips werent so spicy we couldnt finish them due to the spice on it. My mom got your spaghetti and meatballs and she was in love with it. I got your chicken Parmesan and it was good just to much garlic for my taste but my mom finished it and she was in love. We will be back for sure. The service was also amazing and before I forget we also got the tiramisu and it was to die for.

We havent even finished our meals and I had to call them to tell them just how delicious their food is!!!! And filling I ordered ahead to go but absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere while I waited (which wasnt long at all). Definitely recommend

Tried the menu for the fist time and it was more than marvelous. Had the chicken with Fettuccine and it well above any dish Ive had in other restaurants local. Service was impeccable. The serving was more than generous and the chef sure can please the palate of diners who appreciate fine dining at its best. Already planning a return to try other dishes.

First time coming to this restaurant. The atmosphere and service were excellent. The servings were large. I had penne bolognese, unfortunately I was disappointed. I could not taste and enjoy the tomato sauce because of the overpowering amount of onion and garlic in it.

Cant say enough about this place. Awesome food, atmosphere, music and staff were all amazing. This is a great place to take the family, a date or celebrate a special occasion. Top notch restaurant and if you love Italian food just the way Nonna makes it, then this is a must place to go. Finally a fabulous restaurant in Napanee, and I love the stuffed mushrooms a must appetizer and the caesar salad the best I have ever tasted.

My family recently went for my daughters birthday, I had the chicken parm, it was amazing and was way more food than I could eat. Everyone left very full and happy !

Probably the best Caesar salad we ve ever eaten and the bolognese was perfect. Friendly staff, lively and warm atmosphere and delicious food with large portions! We will be back many times. Vegetarian options: Not many to choose from but what s available is very good Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

OK, confession time. I am as guilty as the next of inflating reviews. I have given four and five stars for places that were just acceptable, ones for which I had no complaints. Jimmi s is terrific. The food is deserving of six stars. My friend and I both ordered pasta: he the Carbonara and I had the Wild Mushroom and Prosciutto. Both were terrific. Even our server, Nathan was fun. When we were ordering, I asked him what the gluten free pasta was ($1 extra). He did not know the name (turned out it was rotini). We teased him about it for the rest of the meal and he laughed along with us. Good guy. The restaurant is new, and I suspect Nathan has not served before as when we had finished our main course, he asked if it would be one bill or two. No up sell, no suggestion for desert or coffee. We prompted him and we both ordered Americanos which were very good. But the service was good. Décor is not super. A little plan, but not distasteful. Def recommend.

We had dinner here and the food was absolutely delicious! The staff were wonderful, prices are great and portions are generous. We have found a new favourite Italian restaurant.

Skip appetizers. Cold. Bread mountain was semi hot and cheese not melted. Pasta is delicious and Cesar salad is great. Food

Had the Veal Parmigiano, which was very good, and the wife had the creamy shrimp in a pesto. It would have been nice to finish the meal off with a cappuccino and a chocolate raspberry Turturro, but unfortunately, were not available according to the waiter when i asked, but the cappuccino was listed on the menu. I will agree with some of the other reviews that the music is good but a tad bit loud. The restaurant was extremely busy Sunday afternoon at dinner time. Brian, the waiter seemed a we bit frazzled.

Food was delicious. Carbonara could use a lot more pepper for me. My friend loved the huge, chicken parm. The Tequila & Amaretto cocktail was very interesting. The atmosphere is very diner-ish. With food this good, they are going to need to expand soon. We will definitely be back to try more.

Stopped in for lunch while driving along the 401. Amazing food and GREAT value with many choices. Wish you had a location in Westport, Ont.

I was in Napanee for an appointment , so I stopped in for dinner afterwards . I had about a 15 minute wait, which was absolutely fine as I was there during the dinner rush. Once a table was available, my server got me in asap and took my order right away. She was absolutely super friendly. The meal was absolutely excellent and they use all homemade ingredients. Its nice to have this new restaurant in town. I live about 45 mins away and Ill be back as much as I can. Thanks for a great first time experience!!

Was a very positive experience. We will be back. Food was delicious, came quickly and the staff was very friendly. I had the lasagna and my better half had the chicken parmesan.

My daughter & granddaughter picked me up from the Lenox & Addington hospital to take me to supper. After much deliberation we choose Jimmis. Wow!! What an awesome choice we made! Food was absolutely amazing! The prices were more the reasonable, actually I venture to say the best Ive encountered. And to top it all off, our server Mariah was astounding! I highly recommend this place to all! My compliments to the chef for the exquisitely great tasting food ! Ill be back!!

My dad and I took my mom here for Mothers Day brunch and it was AMAZING! I recognized our waiter from my birthday last year at another restaurant and he was a delight then and a delight now! Shout out to our waiter Sean, he was WONDERFUL and took great care of us! My mom felt very special! We started off with the shrimp they had on special and it was so good! Especially the dipping sauce. I had two ceasars, I had to have a second because the first was so delicious! Then I had the best eggs benny of my life! I lived in Toronto for 20 years, Ive had a lot of eggs benedict there and this was by far the best! Such a unique experience getting to choose what you had on it and having different flavours of hollandaise sauce. I chose the spicy chili because I love spicy food and it did not disappoint! Thank you so much Jimmis and Sean for an incredible experience! We will definitely be back!

A true test for any so-called Italian restaurant is their spaghetti and meatballs. If you can t get this right, then forget about it. Two weeks ago, my husband (who was born in Calabria, Italy, home to the best tomato sauce) and I tried Jimmi s to put them to this test. It was a complete fail. In fact, the worst we had ever had. The meatballs were small, dry and tasteless. The sauce was tart like it had pickle juice in it. The dish was so bad that we threw it out without eating anymore. We had our hopes on the Vintage Veal Focaccia, another Italian staple. It looked good but when I cut the veal cutlet, the veal was so thin it was unmeasurable. Lots of breading but very little meat. The cutlet which should be crisp was soggy. The focaccia was falling apart in weird spongy pieces making it impossible to hold and eat like a sandwich. They also put on a pickled eggplant which did not pair well with the tomato sauce and cutlet. We have never heard of pickled anything on a veal sandwich. You need subtlety to blend with these tastes, such as fried mushrooms, roasted peppers or even roasted eggplant. But pickled no messes with the flavour completely. If you are looking for good Italian food, look someplace else.

Heard great things about this place so decided to give it a try...but we were very disappointed. Bread appetizer came with marinara sauce for dipping and the sauce was cold, it should be served warm/hot. The chicken parm was a good portion size but the chicken was paper thin and rock hard, it was nearly impossible to cut with a knife let alone eat. There was also something crunchy in the pasta that wasnt listed on the menu description that threw off the taste. Very expensive lunch that was barely edible, wont be returning unfortunately. EDIT: In response to the reply, we did let the server know and the server was well aware of the issue with the quality of the food and acknowledged that the chicken was rolled out way too flat and said she would mention it to someone else, yet nothing was done. The portion size is comparable to other restaurants at the same price point and others throw in free bread...it costs extra at this restaurant.

Brunch was awesome! Between the choices and the tasty flavours, we were much impressed. Our large group received excellent service during our visit, and we felt welcome and cared for. Cant wait to try the rest of the menu! Dietary restrictions: One member of our party has celiac and was given gluten-free toast in place of foccacia.
