Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Napanee

Service was just fine, always expect a wait. But the chicken wasn t good. So oily. Wife and I felt pretty ill afterward. Won t go back to any Popeyes.

I was on a trip with my family, we arrived at this location and I came in by myself to purchase some food for take out. The employee at the cash told me they couldn t take my order because they close at 9pm. I checked the time and it was 8:40pm. He said they don t take anymore orders at this time because they need 30 mins to clean everything before they leave. I told him I couldn t believe this, he said they won t take anymore orders. I asked for his name and he said it was Arman. I never had a bad experience with a restaurant like this. After this happened we ll never order any food or pass by this place anymore. Very disappointing experience.

Great people who work here, always friendly, never any issues!

The cook didnt cover his beard with a net. And the server did have gloves on.

I bought a medium fries, they so so. Not as good as McDonalds.

Always a warm welcome and the staff are amazing and friendly. Im always told how long my wait is and they never disappoint!

I m in a wheelchair and whenever I want to go in I can t because there s no wheelchair button. I have to knock on the window and wait for a worker to come out and open it for me. This is the same for when I m trying to leave the restaurant also. It would be nice if a big franchise like Popeyes can spend a couple hundred dollars on a door button.

Dirty tables, the tables that were washed had a gross residue. I had ordered a deluxe sandwich but got grossed out looking at the tables and gave it away. I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. Nope will never o there again

I love the spicy chicken sandwich and its always the same no matter when you have it.

Had the best chicken a month ago. Today I was given dried out pieces .I expect the best from Popeyes and usually it is.I will get fresh next or none.

I had a really bad time at Popeyes in Napanee. The customer service there was terrible, and the manager, Kiran, was really focused on making money. I tried to use a code for a free chicken, but they said I had to spend at least $10, even though it wasnt necessary. I felt cheated and disrespected. I think people in Napanee should avoid restaurants like this where they dont care about customers and just want to take your money.

Good food with reasonable prices, but service can be slow for a fast food restaurant.

Paid close to $35 for two crispy chicken sandwich combos with gravy. The gravy was basically hot water, the sandwiches were tiny, and barely a handful of fries came with each combo. Two tiny pieces of chicken on a bun and half a potato worth of fries with the most watered down gravy ever does not cost $35. Do better.

Kiren took and filled my order this afternoon and she was so lovely! I hope I spelt her name right! She was awesome!

Waiting almost 30 minutes for a prepaid order that was supposedly supposed to be ready but clearly wasn t even remotely unfortunately if you can t handle the heat in the kitchen, get out..inadequate amount of fryers for how many customers they were trying to serve adds up wait times to unreasonable amounts..save your money go to MC or Burger King

Me and my boyfriend each had a crispy sandwhich each and shared a large french fry from this establishment and a couple hours later we were both sick with what appears to be food poisoning. Please pay better attention when cooking and handling chicken. This is not acceptable.

Typical Popeyes experience. Was available during the blizzard and provided us with comfort and food.

If I could give zero stars I would this location is very slow (30+minute wait)always have a reason for being out of stock the restaurant is dirty most the time and to top ot off I go at 735 after work get welcomed in then the cook says something and them Im told they are closing at 730 not 9 like the sign says

loool i have the chance to get Popeyes when I passed by Ontario. However, it was onrute branch which is ... hummm not a great experience. No all the options are available. But I missed Popeyes as we dont have it in Quebec !

Been a few times and the food is good but service was really slow, we waited at least 15 minutes both times for our food. Now my husband went at 8:30pm and they were closed, on here it states they are open until 9pm. Not impressed.

I went there on Saturday March 2023 at lunchtime. It was closed and there was a legal notice on the door from the landlord. I dont think it will re-open anytime soon, or ever...

2023.09.13 Under new ownership and I am sooooo glad they are back with the best chicken out there. Not disappointed at all! Wonderful spicy tenders with Buffalo dipping sauce and a biscuit - mouth watering. I will be a repeat customer. Thank you, Lisa

New owner at the Napanee location - fantastic service!

Today was the first day of opening for the Napanee location, & I was very impressed! Food was hot, delicious, & ready quickly. The staff was very friendly, and also knowledgeable about the food. I m so happy Popeyes is back in Napanee! I highly recommend the Chicken Sandwich, and definitely the biscuits! Yummy!!!

Love the spicy chicken, fries, mashed with Cajun gravy... I will keep coming back..

Someone seriously needs to check this place out, most of the employees honestly seemed to be under the influence of something not only was the order wrong but I wasn t going back to get it fixed their honestly on some sort of drugs, never going back and seriously hope someone checks this place out

Mike from popeyes Napanee is literally the best, bro makes the best chicken and is so nice.

The place isnt too shabby, and the staff are cool; but after my 2nd time there I got chicken with maggots all through it. My family and I stopped eating it. However! My sister didnt care and ate it maggots and all. This was a year or 2 ago now; but Im still not over witnessing that. Parking: They share plaza parking.

ive visited this popeyes multiple times. always an extremely long wait. staff appear as though they dont care at all that there are countless people waiting for their orders. they move at a snails pace with zero sense of urgency .also understaffed for the amount of people waiting. avoid this popeyes if your looking for fast service.

My kids went in for tender meals with fries and biscuits and were told they only had mashed potatoes as a side and the wait was going to be 5-6 mins and after nearly 25 mins they got their meals but the Fanta syrup was out as well. The Popeyes near our house in Mississauga is usually slow because of traffic but this one was HORRIBLE! Might as well order take-out food at dine-in restaurant for the same time!

This popeyes used to be good! Unfortunately the last couple of times we have been here over the last 12 months has been awful! Chicken tastes of old oil and the chicken tenders and nuggets seems over breaded and inedible. Yuck! Worst popeyes Ive experienced.

Probably the dirtiest fast food place I ve ever been to. Garage all over the floor, none of the table were wiped down, garbage in the rest room overflowing, looks like the floor has never been cleaned. Just disgusting. Don t waste your time or money on this place

Fantastic! Stopped in and picked up the 2 piece Tuesday special and was very impressed! Large pieces, freshly prepared to perfection. Restuarant was sparkling clean and the staff was gracious and helpful. Well done Popeyes! THIS is how fried chicken is supposed to be.

Food was really good. Staff was very friendly. However, I had to take one star away because the wait for the food was a really long time. I would definitely go here again but I would order ahead a pick it up when its actually ready.

Terrible experience, failed to take orders efficiently, took far too long to prepare food and the building is extremely hot in the summer.

Son walked in and ordered a chicken sandwich. Staff drop it on the floor and picked it up (wasnt aware my son witnessed it) and put it in a bag to give to him. When my son called him on it he got aggressive. Real class. Needless to say thats the last time we ever enter that establishment.

This might be the first one star review I ve ever given on Google. I ve attended this restaurant three times over the past year, and it s three strikes you re out. Chicken fingers were raw at the tip (I don t mean there was a vein and a little pink, it was legit raw) and the mashed potato had the consistency of Elmers Glue. My brother described the chicken sandwich as slimy. Fries were good and fresh and hot. But it wasn t enough to redeem this location. Each visit over the span of months is the same story - long wait for poorly prepared food in a dirty restaurant Pop machine was broken and didn t have Coke, lemonade, sprite, and the machine squirted everywhere on the working options. Tables and trash area was filthy.

Excellent service! Stopped by here for a quick bite on our way to Toronto. The person who served us was so generous to give us an extra piece of chicken because he saw that we were 2 people sharing a 3 piece chicken combo. Thank you!! We really appreciated your kind gesture

Always hot n fresh

Order for pick up at 6:10, not ready because only one staff working (understandable) but then at 6:30 tells us they don t have any mild fingers for our order. Ordered 8 mild and 8 spicy. Why wait until 20 minutes a to tell us you don t have any?? Then argues with us when we say we want our money back because my kids aren t going to eat spicy chicken fingers. Finally after arguing for 10 minutes we finally get our money back. Just lost my business for good. And we ordered $75 worth of food.

I ve had the pleasure of meeting Ahmad in this location. He had excellent spirit, customer service and hospitality! You should aim for more people like him on all locations

Never tried this place before because I thought all you could get was Cajun and I cant eat anything with a lot of spices. I was pleasantly surprised.

I was at the Popeyes on bath rd in Kingston Phone app offered 12 pieces of chicken 2 large sides and 5 biscuits For 19.99 I when presented the code at the cash they refused to honor the special I ended up paying over 60 for my order and got less I contacted customer service they just had me going around in circles from 1 person to the next. Its been 3 months of back and forth I have every email were I am promised a voucher to make up for this but yet to receive anything

We had a terrible experience there today. Extremely slow, didnt know what they were doing. No milk available. When we got home to eat, they had screwed up the order. We wanted Chicken and got Tenders! Never going there again!!!

Used washroom before ordering. It was absolutely filthy from day before. Used toilet paper on the floor, full garbage, dirty sink. Poor janitorial standards. I was only customer in store. I decided not to order and left store after standing at counter and nobody was there to take my order.

I would like to start this off by saying I generally love popeyes, it is always my go to fast food chicken, I was thrilled when my town of napanee got one, so I went today. I got the 3pc chicken strip which was the deal of the day. That took 10 minutes to come out and the chicken was undercooked and rubbery, my order was takeout so I was gone before realizing. Someone else came up to the counter with a spicy chicken sandwich while I was waiting, they told the manager that he had asked for a regular chicken. Nothing was done for the gentleman but instead the manager and cook had a screaming fight in the back.

We went to the store for a early lunch today. I love Popeyes chicken and was glad to see one in Napanee. We were very disappointed with overall service and food. During Corona we would expect employees to be wearing gloves and preferably a mask. A person upfront on cash wasnt wearing either one the person in the kitchen wore gloves for a little while and then took them off. There is no protective screen between us and the employee whatsoethepp. We also asked for white meat and got all dark very disappointed. Was hot so thats good but will not likely return to this location. Very disappointed.

Messed up our food twice

Very unsatisfactory experience today at this location. I ordered 3 new spicy chicken sandwiches and requested for the pickles to be placed on the side. The reason for this request being ,I didn t want the sandwich to get soggy with the wet pickles because the sandwiches weren t going to be eaten right away. I explained this to the manager on duty ,he wasn t happy with my request and proceeded to tell me that this is against policy. He can only put pickles on the sandwiches and cannot give it to me on the side. I try my hardest to process what he was trying to tell me but couldn t understand. Myself being a manager in a fast food establishment and honour this same request on a daily basis could not understand why Popeyes will have this as a policy ,not to accommodate a request of pickles on the side. But I must say I also requested this at another location in Toronto and it was easily fulfilled. Not sure if it s just a policy at this location but the manager on duty 2pm October 3rd said it s Popeyes policy. I left this location feeling very disappointed. Not sure if I will want to go back there after this experience.

The staff working in the place matters a lot. This place has a best staff that I have ever seen at any Popeyes. I highly recommend this place as all COVID measures are taken here. This place is safe and the best fast food place. Once again thanks to the staff for how they greet. All are very polite and they try to deliver as fast as they can.

The food was very good especially the poutine. The place was clean. The staff was ok a bit unfriendly but not bad service. The place was very cold as the door is broken and I had to close it after every person :/ but not that big of a deal. Would definitely go back.

We had to wait over 20 minutes for our order. The staff needed to be better trained. A) When I was ordering they couldnt get my order right. B) The spicy chicken sandwich wasnt like I have gotten at any other popeyes and NOT in a good way. C) There were others there and they were having the same issues. I wont be going back to this location anytime soon if at all.
