I could say alot. But I walked in with my wife after being in hospital all night and wanting a good breakfast. She just got done a 12 hour shift. We have been to spuds before and ordered the breakfast special to go. The early bird but were told this time by a very rude wait staff that now that isnt served to go at the early bird price... but spoken in this way nope cant give you the early bird to go its 12 dollars if you want it to go . And then upon being startled by her rudeness we ordered whatever else we wanted instead. After my wife told the wait staff she wanted a mushroom omlette I proceeded to begin to order and the wait staff cut me off abruptly with no apology or logical interjection, and proceeded to attempt to take my wifes order. My wife was bewildered upon hearing this behaviour and was shocked at the waot staff cutting off a paying custome. I told them to keep the $34.00 Id already paid and give the food already made if so to someone else. This is because we ordered. I went outside so as not to kake a scene and consulted my qife who agreed they need to be taught a lesson. The fact that I paid then let them keep it and left anyway was to emphasize the importance of making a point. Wnjoy rhe money... Its the last Dollar youll ever get from our family and our familys family. Enjoy and make use of that 34 bucks... and dont ask me for 5 bucks minimum tip on a 34 dollar bill for typing in an order and carrying 3 pounds for 3 seconds. Ill show up after work. Give the Cook a cash tip myself, and a real one.... find somewhere that can pay you better. Its not a small issue. Alot!!! Of service based industries have been ruder and ruder and care less yet get paid better than they ever have. And expect tips now for doing nothing...

Simple decor. Booths not very comfortable for seating. Food was very good and reasonable prices were reasonable. Friendly, quick service.

Great breakfast at a great price.

Had the Sunday special. Bacon carbonara soup and an Italian quesadilla. Really tasty. This was a past lunch. Update to today.... Normally the meals are 5 Star and Id never give them a bad review, but they asked today how I enjoyed my meal...I had a large Greek Salad with Chicken. It was tasteless. I asked if theyd done something different, changed the dressing? The waitress wasnt sure and asked. No they hadnt, but came back and told me that they probably hadnt shook the bottle before putting the dressing on my salad because as Id told her when she asked me, it was pretty much just oil. Told her Id never order it again. I was that disappointed.

It was spectacular!! The food and service is amazing! Great place to have a gathering or just to eat in with your family and friends!! Another beautiful luncheon today at Spuds,for my Aunts 92nd B.D.. it is a must to go there and eat. It extra special for me today as the new owner is a sweet young girl that I grew up with and went to school with and enjoyed having fun with her and her family. Now she has a sweet establish with family along side her to help and enjoy her friends and family everyday!!

First visit after the new owners took over, needless to say we left without ordering. It was busy, yes, but it was a Saturday and to be expected. All tables that were nit occupied were dirty, doesnt bother me. I use to be in the industry, I understand...to an extent. Three other tables came in after us, all of which had their tables cleaned and menu (1 had their drinks). Waitress finally came over and cleaned the table, set the menus down and walked away. Did not ask if we wanted drinks. We were already to order as we looked at the menu online while we sat there for 20 mins waiting for initial contact. Now at Dennys, 10 mins in....have drinks and orders in!

Spuds is an old style family restraunt that serves great food at great values and the servers are great people. These little local gems are a treasure.

Weve been meaning to go here for a while now ever since the new owners took over. My wife and I were regulars at their Bath restaurant. We finally went for fathers day and it didnt disappoint. Good food, great atmosphere and serving. Looking forward to going more often

This place is alright. Ma worked there for years as did my sister, so I seen some stuff - such as employees cutting their nails with the milk cutter, sipping out of cups, etc. It was mainly Wendy if I recall; but like... No. Just... No. Not with food that people eat. There was also another time that none of the staff wanted to clean a mountain of blood from an old mans catheter coming out when he was going to the bathroom... That was... Also something. If its not clear, Ive some very mixed feelings on this place from personal encounters. Parking: One of the few spots in Napanee with a good sized parking lot.

First time there but I really liked the burger its nice to see real hamburger in steed of a patty. Ill be back

The breakfast was good, eggs over hard, hash browns, ray toast, bacon ham and sausage. The eggs were cooked well. The hash browns were a bit over done for my liking. Im not a ham fan although it wasnt bad, the sausage was pretty good and the bacon was good. All and all a decent experience. I would recommend anyone visiting the area to give it a try :)

1st time there since ownership has changed , all I can say is great , food ,service . The place looks great clean simple , no muss no fuss.

Unfortunate poor experience, for starters the order wasnt put in the system correctly and had to wait over an hour. The gravy has been changed and isnt very good, the kt burger has significantly less toppings and is dry, the pork souvlaki was tough and gristley, and the rice with the souvlaki was soggy

Always look forward to eating at Spuds. However, I feel that the new owners are making a huge mistake by closing daily at 2 p.m. A lot of seniors dine here and enjoy dinners out. Now we have no where comfortable enviroment to enjoy an afternoon tea and pie or an evening home cooked type meal. Most of us like to eat between 4 and 6 p.m. Why can you not stay open so we can enjoy a dinner out. I am very disappointed. Plus food prices have increased so much - no more getting a sandwich with fries - now fries are about $4.00 extra, nothing included anymore. Very difficult and more expensive for seniors. Very disappointed now with food, prices and hours.

I have been a regular customer of Spuds for many years. Today for our first visit under new management, not impressed. We sat for 50 minutes before food arrived. When asked why, waitress had no idea what was going on in the kitchen. She offered a discount of $5. The price for hot sandwich has gone up to $17.95 with no veggies. They ran out of mashed so had to take fries. Im a very patient person but wont be visiting again any time soon

Its a family restaurant. Its clean, spacious and one of the better examples of this type of eatery. Service was quick and food was great. Had breakfast both times, the western omelette with a side of sausage. I would recommend it and will be back.

Pretty homey small town kind of spot. As a vegetarian, basically I could only order the homefries, or coleslaw, but I came for homefries knowing it would be this way. Staff were friendly and courtious, seems like a place people enjoy to meet with family over decent food and a good atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Potatoes and coleslaw.

Went to stop today and they closed at 2pm ... Always great when you have a hungry two year old in the back screaming for food.... I know everything says hours may very due to covid but updating it online would be good... Sadly Napanee doesnt have alot of affordable family sit down restaurants as it is and now the ones they do have are either closed completely or randomly changing their hours
