I just ordered your rib and 1/4 chicken(white meat) baked potato meal. The meal was totally dreadful, all the meats were over cooked and dried out some of the ribs were even black burned on them, the baked potato was over baked the skin was so hard and the white of it was stuck on it , you had to scrap it off....and the bun was as hard as a stone. It was all I could do to pull it apart to butter (couldnt even eat it)......Totally dreadful, dreadful garbage meal....with tax it cost $31.40.....PS...Thanks for nothing.......Sarah Wild from Napanee Ontario

Today I went to this location to get Swiss Chalet. I placed my order and the cashier had nothing but attitude when I asked a question. I then went to fill up my drink and find a table, when another woman had already come out with my plate. I hadn t even sat down yet. Every single table was filthy. I told her I would wipe the table myself. After that, I sat down and took a bite of my mashed potatoes, they were FREEZING cold. I do not have the patience for this as I work in food services, I know the standard. I got up and took my plate to the front, I told the attitude ridden cashier I wanted my money put back on the gift card I used. She began arguing with me, saying I couldn t have the money put back on the card. I told her I wanted my money back in cash, a store credit or something to make up for this pathetic lunch. She continued arguing with me, so I argued right back. She would not cooperate and give me any form of compensation until I threatened to phone the police. She then told me to wait outside and she would bring me my money. I told her that wasn t going to happen, so she threatened to call the police on me instead. Needless to say, this cashier is argumentative, ignorant, and overall completely unprofessional. Over all, absolutely filthy location, horrible staff with horrible attitude, and to top it off FREEZING cold food. There was 1 person eating in. Why were the tables filthy dirty? Pick up a rag ladies! You deserve 0 stars!

We ordered to go this past Saturday at the Napanee Swiss Chalet. The onion rings were stone cold and hard as a rock. The order wasnt correct when I checked it, and to correct the error it took 15 minutes. I could hear the cook grumbling the whole time. Im the one who should have been grumbling. So much for drive through saving you time.

This last weekend we went to the drive thru at Swiss Chalet Napanee horrible experience! First we sat at drive thru order kiosk waiting for help ..placed order for two quarter chicken white meat and proceeded to window, after paying we were told we would get order, after waiting and waiting we tried to get employee attention to see what the problem was why it was taking so long, she just ignored us, finally we tapped on the window and she opened with an attitude We told her to cancel order, again received attitude. We sat and sat again while she played with register then she returned our cash and it was 4.00 $ short .we told her and she replied with an attitude again she couldn t fix it and would not give us our full refund, we asked for the manager again waited and waited till finally the manager gave us the correct refund. This was a terrible experience this location needs to be reviewed by head office we will definitely be telling people to not waste their time going there. We are not sure if girl at window was trying to keep some cash from this order as she refused to refund the full amount!

I dont like to be blunt, but !!!!!! The food was okay but not as good as expected from swiss chalet. Ordered a bowl of chicken soup. The soup was sour and brought it to the server attention. She said it cant be sour as it is made fresh everyday, then went on to say it must be the chicken that was sour She turned and walked away. No offers to help. The place was dirty. The floors were sticky with every step I took. The bathroom was even worse. I will not be back for some time. It is definitely not the same place I got to know a few years ago

I recently went here while driving by Napanee and I was very happy with the service! the food was hot and fresh, and the staff made me feel so welcomed! Thank you for a great experience! Will be back again.

Service was fantastic. Green beans were a bit chewy but rest of food was great. Fast friendly service. Had a great day visiting with my sisters. Food

The most terrible excuse for chicken I ve had in a long time, the manager told me it was perfect. Swiss chalet should pull this location.

We ordered take out. When we got home, realized we were missing the ribs. We called, they were very apologetic and replaced with a full meal instead of just the ribs. Excellent customer service!

How does this place keep its franchise??? I know what a Swiss chalet wrap looks like, what they sent me and my wife home the other day was not that, absolutely disgusting flat cold no chicken, when she called to speak to a manager they said they were going to call the cops on her???? Next time just go to McDonalds and get a snack wrap at least if they screw it up they will make you a new 1 and prob 1/8 the cost.

Parking: Kind of an awkward location to get into

Extremely disappointed with the service at the Swiss chalet in napanee. Placed an online order, arrived at specified time to pick it up and ended up waiting an extra 15 mins for my order. The cashier was extremely rude, no apology, my order was place on a high box on the counter and she just turned away. I wont be going back!

Poor customer service for getting some of your order and takes a very long time to get your order.

Every time you go for takeout, you get home and something is missing. I would recommend not visiting this one. When you check in the parking lot to see if something is missing then you go into the store you get attitude. Still got home and was missing items.

Nicely surprised to get our lunch on eco friendly real plates with metal utensils. Super nice staff. The food was perfectly consistent Swiss Chalet as expected. We will return next time we are looking for a nice quick sit down lunch off the 401.

Friend of mine ordered alot of food for his family, the called the cops on them...never going there again.

A friend had gotten a order and because he has a big family that live in his house, Swiss Chalet called the police and tried to get him arrested for having a get together of over 5. Not really any of their business, he ordered and paid. When he got home to eat his meal with his family, he gets a call from the police. Swiss Chalet just do your job and serve terrible uncooked food and that is all you have to do.

Friend has a larger family that lives on the same property he does and he made an order and they called the cops on them for a social gathering when they all live together

Apparently, this place rewards people giving them their hard earned money, by calling the cops on them because their order is too large.. Disgusting business practices.

Calling the cops on the holy Easter weekend on a large family that all live together. Well thats what Swiss Chalet in Napanee did to this family immediately after making a large purchase. Yes its Covid-19 and we are supposed to gather in small groups, but without a thought or knowing that this family had a large family Swiss Chalet called the cops to rat their clients out. Thank goodness the cops laughed about it. But shame on you Swiss Chalet of Napanee.

I am very disappointed with Napanee s Swiss Chalet. I had an awful experience with the online ordering system a while back. This time I had an item missed from my order. I hated the Response about we will put your name in a book. I worked in fast food for 20 years and we would offer them something along with a free meal next time. I dont usually complain. I have had enough and will drive the extra 30 minutes to Belleville instead of 15 to Napanee. I felt like they just didnt care. They just wanted to get me off the phone.

Small portions, off-brand fries, and not one of the employees was wearing gloves as they handled peoples food. I also did not receive any cutlery, which is an issue for someone on the road. Disgusting, will never be returning.

Once again, great experience. Friendly staff and hot food. Clean bathrooms that are open!

Don t order the Hot Chicken Sandwich and coleslaw. You may be disappointed.

New chicken sandwich was dry and overcooked. 1/4 chicken dinner same. Seem liked cooked and re-heated. Fries were soggy. Certainly not like the Swiss Chalet Food that I have had from other locations. Asked for salt and pepper got ketchup. Butter was tossed in bottom of take out bag and must have opened when food tossed on top. Soaked bottom of bag. Food was thrown out in overflowing garbage pails out in back of lot. Just a bad experience .

Stopped off in at the Napanee Swiss Chalet last week, when driving back from Toronto. I received fabulous drive through service- the food was hot and delicious. Its always a delight to get great service at a restaurant. Thank you Swiss Chalet Napanee!

Google maps says closes at 9, but website says closes at 10 - but that most locations close early today (January 1) - but not this one. Easily solved - lets telephone and make sure they are open until 10. But at 6 pm they is no answer after phoning twice! Presumably closed at 5 ... fail. Going to somewhere else ... shame, I really fancied chicken.

Like any other Swiss Chalet the food quality is great the pricing is the same could be from medium to expensive but again you pay for what you get never really had any bad experiences with the food or the quality from this location the restaurant side is very clean and tidy. The only problem I had was with a manager who I noticed well in the back where the food prep was she was shoveling chicken into her mouth so I had to call head office.

So, ordered online on June 7th 2020, at 8:30pm and pick up time said ready for 8:45pm. Get there and see a nice big young black family wandering around the drive thru as I pull up to park. These people looked they also have placed a order for their family and were there to pick it up, but they were just standing outside. Had to be a big order because they had two cars worth of people. I park and get out to go inside at 8:48pm now after waiting to see if they were waiting as well and the door was locked! I go back to my vehicle to double check my order online to see if it went through and yes it did. As I turn back to the store to double check the lights in the store go dark at 8:50pm. Upset because it seemed they had two big orders come through before you guys were even closed. Im not sure if they made it and now you guys are going to have a food cost issues. Or I swear if I find out that your employees were discriminating against that black family, and just decided they weren t going to serve them, as it seemed they were waiting there, and searching to see if anyone was there for longer then we ordered our food at 8:30pm. Disappointed really. The balls to turn the lights off when you should have two whole orders that got punched in way before 9pm. You either lost a lot of customers and their money. Or just the customers because they already paid and didn t even get their food. Insane. Unacceptable. Napanee is dumpy.

The Harvey s food was good, but don t get your hopes up on the Swiss Chalet. The fries are not Swiss chalet fries and the bun didn t as seem fresh. Otherwise the chicken was good so it will do in a pinch.

Visited this place with my 2 babies last Monday, outside temperature was around 33c, they would not turn on the a/c, said the owners don t want too. Inside temperature felt hotter than outside . Floors were dirty, staff were rude ! Food was okay. So sad to see cheap owners ruining a good brand !

We ordered pickup this afternoon for dinner. My dad picked it up and when we got it home the two sauces were missing. I called right away asking if they had a delivery driver able to bring out the sauces (we like 20 minutes out of then). Although no delivery drivers, they still had an employee bring out the sauces to our house and lindors as an apology. Fantastic customer service! Thank-you.

On Jan 1 I was looking for something quick and good, went to the drive through and was informed that they were out of chicken. It was 6:30. Everyone I mentioned it to laughed. Went back last night at 7:50pm and my daughter and I were told they were closing in 10 mins. Thats it, no more.

Picked up two dinners with two soup at the Napanee location tonight, arrived home with order and as soon as I removed the cover from the soup there was a very pungent smell and it tasted as if something had died and rotted in it, very disgusting. Tried calling the store numerous times and could not get an answer, will be returning there tomorrow March 24, 2019. Hopefully we don t get sick from tasting it.

Food prepared here was made well, request were followed correctly. They did forget the sour cream so my cousin didnt even eat her extravagant baked potato because there was no sour cream. Also why are the chicken spring rolls being cut in to three sections of two. Seems like they gypt me a whole spring roll, in both packs. Like if you ran out jus say you dont have or at least give me a discount. Havent been to swiss chalet in a while but they never used to cut the spring rolls. Store was very untidy as well, I mean garbage on the floor. Granted it was dinner time maybe they got busy. But still. Staff however were very nice and pleasant.

Great as usual. I really do like the fried chicken, the parmesan fries and the kale ceasar salad. Hope you keep them.

Went to get lunch here did online order to have it ready for lunch time and they didnt pic up the phone when I called to see if my order went thru then drove down to get it they had a note on the door saying they are close due to technical issues but did not put on the phone answer machine or put on website that the store is close due to problems

Best chicken there

Many times we have gone I to order for both eat in and take out, many times they have not had much available from there menu. As well seems to never have white meat available. Do find staff a little rude, and I really suggest checking your take out orders before you leave as I have received the wrong orders a few times and.didnt realize until I got home. Otherwise 2/5 because the food is still quite good. Update: Was contacted by customer support, they offered a gift card to us for us to try again. I have changed our review to 1 star as they never followed through with this and we have not returned to the restaurant again.

Was eating Harveys. Considering the two places share kit hen and staff, service was good as was the food. Staff friendly.

Ridoculous wait time and very unorganized. Waited almost an hour for our meal. Other customers ordered and received theirs first. After 30 minutes we went up and asked if our meal was overlooked, but were told they were just waiting on fries. Order comes out and goes to the customers that just ordered 10 minutes ago. Got refund and left. Horrible service......

Ordered in store at 5:43pm. Waited till 6:32 pm and the food never showed up at our table. I went back to the cash and asked where our food was. 3 people had no idea. Asked for a refund, and after some confusion on how to work the register, we got our money back and went to Dennys. While getting the refund I watched a young kid throwing rolls onto a plate, and was grossed out, so was happy to take our money and get out. Do yourself a favour and go to either Dennys or Chucks Road House. Both are clean, great staff, and as an added bonus, you will actually get your food!

This is a Swiss Chalet and Harveys. So you can order from both menus. The seating is like a Harveys restaurant but they bring your Swiss Chalet food to your table. I had chicken on a kaiser. Twice as much chicken as other Swiss Chalet. It was also much fresher. The Chalet sauce was steaming hot, literally. The staff were very friendly and great service.

Since its attached to a Harveys, and the staff is grossly incompetent, these swiss chalet restaurants are brutal. Dirty, slow and messed up our orders. Unfortunately we decided to dine at Swiss chalet this evening . I was very unhappy with my services The young staff have not been trained in a proper manner. My fries were old . The bake potatoe was so dry and over done. It was not busy and almost every table was dirty. The floors were filthy. And the young girls just stood around . Never once did I see someone come to clean any tables. And the little containers that held the sugar salt had not been cleaned in a very long time . Very disorganized and very poor mangeral skills . Unfortunately I will not be going back .

Worst place to eat. Network was down and never saw people more confused in my life. They cannot add simple numbers. Too busy yapping to get an order right. First they forgot our order. Received a chicken dinner that looked like it was half raw. They replaced it with the same thing. Walked out without eating. Wont be coming back ever again. Can I please give 0 stars.

Harveys frozen fries at Swiss Chalet prices. Not your typical Swiss Chalet. Half the usual amount of fries and not the same quality. Dinner for three without any drinks came to $50.

Calling the 1(800) number to place an order, only to get home. To find a pasta dinner, was replaced by a stir fry dinner, that was so gross, it wasnt funny. Things were so mixed up it, that nothing was the way I asked for it. No utensils, no extra rib sauce, cheese that I paid extra for, this is not a good way to start a new franchise restaurant, in a smaller town.
