This place is run down the bathroom is built out of plywood and the womens bathroom has no stalls and even if it did have a stall the way the toilets are setup you wouldnt be able to put two stalls overall food was okay service was okay

I couldn t believe the 16 year old waitresses attitude I ordered a water with no ice and lemon. She looked at me and she said you re weird. Was here a year be for it s gone down hill for sure .

Good food and great service on the Monday night. My husband and I went back on Tuesday morning server not overly friendly and maybe having a bad morning. Both of us ordered the classic breakfast my husband got home fries I got none. Tried to get waitress attention and she was too busy. Flagged her done to get a small orange juice. Another waitress took our money . I dont get this yes we are not locals no greetings or hugs upon leaving . But a meal set price why did everyone else get there whole meal and not me. And of course paid full price.

Everything we ate was perfectly cooked - excellent poached eggs, excellent bacon. Friendly, laid back atmosphere and it s clear that everything they make they make well. We d definitely come back if we were passing again.

The food and prices at this establishment are amazing, Cannot beat it anywhere. Our server, however, made us feel incredibly uncomfortable the last time we went with how we were treated. We were debating on just leaving after being seated as our server was very unwelcoming and short. Not a single welcoming word came out of her mouth. Maybe an off day for her, who knows, but it kind of soured our opinion on ever trying this restaurant again, which is disappointing as they have great food and we drive from kingston to eat here.

Went for brunch, not a huge amount of options but what I got was generous and well-cooked! The servers were friendly. Diner atmosphere, busy but not crowded.

Grilled chicken breast with potatoes and vegetables was in reality- luke warm, reheated frozen corn, potato wedges and plain chicken breast. Wedges were tasty, but not what I was expecting

Well I can t really comment on the food itself, but the bad reviews speak volumes. We were never served. My husband and I were moving close to Napanee and wanted to check out this restaurant for lunch. We walked in, only to be completely ignored by staff. People were bustling around, scurrying right by us, but not one word. Not a will be with you shortly . Not one acknowledgment. All the staff and servers looked absolutely miserable and the people sitting and dining, all had eyes on us. It was the weirdest experience, ever. We patiently waited about 5mins before turning and leaving. We figured if the service was below average, then the food would be just as bad. By reading the recent reviews, it looks as though we made the right decision to walk out. Horrible way to run a business. First impression !! Will not attempt this one, again!

My waitress seems very rude within only 2 mins of being in here. My last experience during covid was good, but this woman makes me not want to eat the food I havent received yet... I feel like she going to be spit in it even though I knew what I wanted and smiled and wasted none her time...the place is only half capacity but shes young and maybe doesnt understand that the reviews on her are not good. Black hair and short ponytail white girl. I always leave at least 25 percent, bcuz my mother was a waitress... sorry Miss, no tip for that.

Went for breakfast . The server arrived and my step father said hello which was replied to with silence. Server takes our drinks order as if she is being put upon . Then arrives with our menus and cutlery and literally drops them on the table. This was terrible service and I won t be returning a place I have some good memories of . Too bad but I don t pay for bad or rude service !

I am a very very picky eater and this place is amazing! I am currently writing this review half way through my meal because I am so impressed. The portions are huge, the prices are great, and the service impeccable Our waitress was very kind, polite and accommodating of my sons disabilities and our unique needs. If you want an old school diner with old school values, Tammys Country Kitchen is the place you want to go!

I don t usually leave bad reviews, but when I do, it s for good reason. If the service wasn t so miserable, I might have passed reviewing, but since it was, I ll pass on coming back. No effort whatsoever. The plates were even thrown on the table. Constellation was my omelette was okay, BUT the French toast was absolutely not. The interior space leaves something to be desired.

We were quite disappointed with service, food & atmosphere. We sat down at our table, there was a hair on it (was it cleaned after the last customers?) The server was not friendly and quite uninerested. She brought my daughter chocolate milk when she ordered apple juice. (We didnt complain) We ordered fish & chips, my husband ordered the club sandwich. Server plopped napkins and a pile of silverware on top along with little packages of tarter sauce. No ketchup, no malt vinegar. We had to ask. Server asked us if we wanted our bun because that way she doesnt have to throw them out. Fish was battered thick with pancake batter, fries tasted like McCain crispy fries, coleslaw was warm. My daughter had to ask for her side of gravy she ordered. The clubhouse was alright, its hard to mess a sandwich up. Half way through our meal, the Server walked by and slid the bill on our table. We took a few more bites, paid our bill & left. We wont be back. So unfortunate because we would sooner support small, locally owned businesses.

The go to breakfast place in town

This was without a doubt the most god awful service Ive ever come across. It was so bad, in fact, I felt like I was in a sitcom. From the sourpuss server with chronic RBF to glares across the restaurant when I asked for a knife and fork to eat my food. Unless the restaurant went up in flames when they overcooked my garlic bread I dont think it couldve gone any worse than it did. I was in Tammys for 28 long minutes, and for 20 of those minutes I didnt have food. Not to mention when I did have food, it was verging on cold and practically thrown onto my table. We walked in and before my chair had properly cradled my cheeks my server had snapped at me. Apparently in the 30 seconds I had been in there I was supposed to have read through the menu and decided on drinks. I will say though, its a mighty fine road trip story and that grimacing server will always be etched into my mind. I dont know what her name was but she looked like the kind of person to have a first name that rhymed with her last name.

I recently had the opportunity to have Sunday breakfast at Tammy s, while in Napanee for a family wedding (it was right across the street from my hotel). The food was excellent (especially the homefries!), and the service was great. My only piece of advice would be to arrive early on Sunday morning It is clearly very popular with locals, and it took about 15 minutes to get a table. Clearly folks like to linger and chat over breakfast, which makes for a relaxed atmosphere but could be frustrating for those who are waiting (and hungry). Generous portions, and very reasonable prices. Thank you! I will definitely be back.

My family and I went there today. My family that lives there told us to go. The server was totally rude. Dirty looks when we came in. We only got forks no knives or straw. But she served other tables with them. When we told the family what happened they were discusssted of the service I which we received. Our family who lives there will not be going to your restaurant again.

Love being at Tammys, its like being right at home . The food is great all home made . Awesome butter tarts I just have to mention those The pies are great also made by Tammy. Very kind lady and also gave my baby girl her first job , and my girl just loved it there . She always says if she was still here, she would still be working there . Kid-friendliness: This is the place to go with your children, Tammy loves children . I have been taking my four kids there for years now I would say about ten years. The other reviews are true. We too have experienced the RBF server. She chats with the regulars but could barely bring herself to look at us when she gave us cutlery or took our cash. Thank yous were replied with mmm as she walked away. There is another, nice server who was actually covering for her initially as she was in the can for the first 15 minutes we were there. Yep 15 minutes. Must be Tammys daughter or something. Food was all right though.

If you re driving through like we were, you re probably better off just going to the McDonalds drive through. Place did not seem interested in our business. We stood by the front entrance by their wait to be served sign for 5 minutes while multiple waitresses passed us by, not acknowledging us.

Not as happy with this place as I normally am. What ever the situation that causes a server to be so unable to take a table correctly does not stop that person from saying to the customer that.... they are very new or have just stepped up to help when the place is super busy, I will try my best, please bare with me..... I would much rather be told this at the start so I am then able to choose to stay and take my chances or leave .....Not saying anything is putting undue stress on all concerned. I am mostly easy going and can understand when this stuff happens but I feel bad for the server if they get people who are not and are very vocal about the terrible service. Some training wouldnt hurt some of the newer servers. A.... hello I will be with you in a few minutes ....goes along way. So once this type of thing is rectified my full 5 star rating will return as everything else in the place is great!

Was awful. Last time we saw our waitress was when we got our plates of food. We got blame because I wasnt fast enough to get my 3 year old feet off the table because she was bored. No ketchup for the fries, and we wanted more to drink. When I tried to get someone attention for these things they just ignored us.

The couple ahead of us were not able to give their order either. The waitresses just kept passing by tables waiting to give their orders. No eye contact. No hello. No well be right with you. Just scowls. I dont know who would want to come here. Other places to spend your hard earned money.

I was staying at the Fox Motor Inn across the road and saw this place. I looked great from the outside and even better from the inside. Very homey vibe and the food is excellent. Whats more, the prices are incredibly cheap!
