Recommended by my neighbour so I decided to try and ordered General Tao Chicken, Spicy Peanut Dumplings and Fried Noodle with Beef and Veggies in Black Bean Sauce. Food was okay.

Food is average, and customer service is a bit lacking.

Placed a order for delivery at 3:50 pm and it took them 3.5 hours to deliver. One and done with this place. Didn t even bother to apologize for there mixup.

Great Chinese food! The chicken ball are real and I believe its homemade lots of chicken inside. Best in barrhaven egg rolls are good rice, and chop suek as well

So Inconsistent. Over the last 2 years, I have had really good food and terrible food. One time I was delivered the wrong food but they quickly fixed that and the food was delicious. The last time I ordered I was told delivery would be more than an hour; shortly after that they phoned to say the food was on its way. What I received was a stuck-together mess. The pad thai was a bright orange colour that pad thai should never be. It looked like they just threw together whatever was in the kitchen. Sorry, but Im not rolling the dice again. Bye.

We have ordered here for many years now and the food and service has always been excellent. Just a tip order from their website for a better price and free chicken fried rice!!

Great food for the price

Very delicious food. We ordered #179 Seafood delight and combination chicken plate of General Tso chicken and balls. The portions are large and prices are good. Their only problem is they need to play background music to add some hype, however the staff are very lovely.

Spent 45$ and threw it out. Im not sure what type of chicken was used in the general chows chicken but after that meal Im becoming a vegetarian. House chow main special not good either. Why is it so hard to produce good food when u r charging top dollar. Not returning

These guys are way too fast to pump the food out and don t pay attention to their orders, I had a $75 skip order for two combo plates and these guys send me 1 combo plate and 12 egg rolls and somehow that is $75 skip did nothing to help

Best Chinese place in town, excellent almond chicken guyding and most chicken of any restaurant ive ordered from, also best general tao chicken youll find in Ottawa, always tasty, always fresh, great friendly careful always masked staff, respectful and kind. Love it, if youre in the west end and hungry I highly recommend, great portions for your money too.

I have loved this restaurant for a while. But a few times Ive ordered they did not listen to instructions. Today was one of those days! I am highly allergic to Bell peppers and requested none. On Uber eats I added a comment saying no bell peppers and there was bell peppers. Im highly disappointed. My partner placed the order for my birthday and hes working it out. We also requested extra tofu in my mixed vegetable because their tofu is delicious and I say no bell peppers or mushrooms. Instead they gave me 2 pieces of tofu (less then the usual 3-5 pieces) and a TON of celery... If I wanted to eat celery for dinner.... Anyway, when they do listen my food is always fresh and delicious. But thanks for ruining my birthday dinner guys.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Barhaven. Everyones super friendly, and the foods always saucy and delicious. My favorites are cream of corn soup and the beef ginger & green onion :)

Ordered from here through their doordash delivery service. After an hour I contacted door dash to find out they couldnt contact the driver, they assigned another one. After waiting even longer and no delivery I called the restaurant and said Id come pick it up and asked if theyd make a new order as that one had been sitting for over an hour. They agreed to make a new order, so I went and picked it up, they hadnt made a new order, and told me they kept the old one warm in the kitchen. I had to pay the restaurant for the order because the driver hadnt come in yet to pay them and then I had to go fight to get a refund back which I have to wait 5-7 business days on. The food was luke warm and soggy from sitting over an hour. Especially the egg roll which is usually my favorite part and what usually keeps me coming back to a place. You get 1star because your prices are good. You get 1 star because you seem like nice people despite agreeing to make a new order and not doing so.

The reviews we read seemed mixed, between awful and excellent. Our experience was not so good... We almost turned around when we first saw the dining area - cheap old tables, spartan with a few garage sale pictures, mixed with some pictures of food, labelled and stapled to cardboard. The door is wide open to the outside (no vestibule), so every time the door opened, the entire room became freezing. This might explain why the guy who served our meals was wearing an ankle length winter parka. There is no music, so all you hear is the two kids (family business) at one table playing video games. There is junk piled up beside the table which suggests the whole family may actually live in that corner. The guy with the parka had no idea who ordered what, and wasnt inclined to ask (he would just bring something out, put it in front of one of us, and walk away). Water was brought to the table, in half-full red plastic cups. No ice for water or drinks. Sometimes we can look past the dining experience when the food is amazing, but unfortunately this was not the case... We tried the pork rice vermicelli, chicken guy ding, and shrimp spring rolls. All quite bland. The shrimp spring roll was literally a single, small, plain, whole shrimp, stuffed inside a thick spring roll shell. I actually laughed when it fell out. The bits of chicken in the guy ding were oily and twisted with gristle. I guess we will stick to The Mandarin ...

Egg Rolls are very good and not too greasy but nit a fan of the plum sauce, very thin and vinageary.

Be careful. Im just now recovering from food poisoning. Very bad first impression. Ive been throwing up for the last two days with awful stomach pain. I had the Cantonese Chao Mein and rice wraps. Very upsetting.

When they tell you that your food takes literally less than 5 minutes to prepare, you have to wonder exactly how fresh it is. You stop wondering after you taste what appears to be reheated leftovers. The terrible food here is only outdone by the atrocious customer service. I regret giving this place as many chances as I have, hopefully this review saves you from making the same mistake.

Terrible food, hard rice that tasted like it was old and reheated. Chicken balls were also stale. Terrible service too. Rude and unfriendly and worse if you have any problems you would like addressed. Dont waste your money.

Really great restaurant got everything

I ordered food from here this evening and it was not very good the rice noodles were under cooked ,the general tao s chicken tasted like sausages it was terrible. The sauce for the vermicelli dishes are watered down the only thing that was decent were the veg spring rolls. The quality of the food has gone down also super pricey for the quality. Will NOT be re-prdering from here in the near future. (Hint: focus on quality not quantity)

Hands down BEST authentic Chinese restaurant in Barrhaven! We tried the so-called famous eggrolls elsewhere and Lius Cuisine is not only better but all their maindishes are superior as well.... Prices are also reasonable, employees are pleasant and reliable.

Two words. FOOD POISONING.

Ordered lunch for myself and co workers. We were told 30 minutes for delivery. An hour and 20 minutes later the delivery guy shows up with cold food. We stated this was unacceptable that we now have lost out on our lunch break and now have cold food. We asked for a discount for the inconvenience. The delivery guy left with our food and said nothing. So we called to find out what is going on. Who ever answered the phone kept arguing with me they attempted to delivery three times that they could not find our location. BULLSHIT! your delivery guy came into our store then left with our food.... Worst service!! Unwilling to send them back even though a child could understand the directions we gave... Our office will not be ordering from here again! Very displeased.

Satisfying, tasty, great take-out for the price. Quality has improved over the years. Loved the ginger beef, we live nearby but it was still crispy when we got it home. Fast and very sweet & courteous.

Staff there always friendly. Place was clean and quiet. I like the young chow fried rice there. Omellette w shrimps on rice. Beef brisket and rice.

Best in Barrhaven. Egg rolls are fantastic. We are never disappointed. Dont let the underwhelming eat in restaurant sway you, the food is fantastic.

You know I was just driving through barhaveen needed some food for some hungry kids. I wasnt expecting some really tasty well priced Chinese food. Ever notice it seems like the chicken in chicken balls is getting smaller and smaller. This place has a nice large piece of chicken per ball! Do you guys deliver to findley creek.

Got General Tso chicken and steamed rice.. The rice was too bland and sticky but the chicken serving was generous and tasty, though a bit on the dry side...maybe overcooked. A mixed experience, I will try another plate some time to get a better idea.

Been going here for a while. It was really good at first but recently has been very inconsistent. Burnt fried rice, bad cuts of chicken and yesterday I had spare ribs that were dry and very fatty. Hope it improves since I might try it again sometime.
