Scratch Italian Since 1986
7-9A Breakfast special looked great as well. Amazing take on French Toast with granola. The bacon was crisped perfectly and the ambience of the room was extremely calming. Bailee was attentive and did an amazing job ensuring that the experience was free of any stress to begin the morning.
Saturday we had a great experience at zola’s!! From the minute we arrived it was such a great time. Our wait staff was attentive & wonderful; She took great care of us! All 5 entrees were delicious(each of us ordered something different)- my meal was exquisite!! Hats off to the chef. The evening was made even better with the live entertainment, Floyd Even took the time to come over and chat with us for a bit.
I really appreciate the vegan options - they also had gluten free options but I didn't try them. It's not just the same stuff without the meat it's actually vegan cheeses and tofu. Great meal! Good proximity to the Canadian Tire Centre for shows and games too.
I went with my mom for dinner and we both ordered the Gorgonzola grilled chicken pasta. There definitely could have been more Gorgonzola (more cream than sharp cheese flavour), and there were about 3 pine nuts in the dish. The “grilled” chicken was unseasoned boiled chicken. Aside from that, the fresh pasta was delicious and the live music was great. We didn’t get a quality check and had to flag the waitress down to ask for more pine nuts (since it says they’re a main part of the dish..). Lovely place though and overall a great night.
This is the most disappointing pizza joint ever. I ordered an XL, or 15” and I got an 11” They sent it in the XL box but sent me a small. Does the pizza look like the picture they posted?????? This is disgusting. Crust is so uneven it’s funny. I know it’s supposed to be a margarita pizza but like come on. ZERO effort was made in placing the ingredients or dough properly. congratulations, I will now tell everyone not to eat here and tell them how they is the worst “ Gourmet” pizza place in the city. Pizza wasn’t even cut properly. Pizza sauce taste watered down and the cheese they use is flavourless. I mean this is funny how bad this is. THEY SENT AN XL BOX AND SEND A SMALL PIZZA IN IT 😂😂😂 40$ for this junk. Straight robbery, pizza pizza is better then this
Been wanting to try Zola's. Family is doing the summer of pizza, trying different places. Ordered the large (15") pepperoni, when we got it home was shocked at what we got for almost $30. Pizza measured 12" but box was clearly the correct size. Taste was disappointing too. Tasted like dr okter ristorante with some added oregano. Zola's is at the bottom of the places we've tried.
Wasn't horrible. However, will not go out of my way to go back. The interior is cute, but not the Italian vibe I would have liked. Service was friendly, but slow and kept forgetting stuff (not busy that evening). Wine - not alot of options. Not many from Italy and most wines on the list were low to mid range (wine rack/LCBO). Nothing fancy at all. Bread- the bread:; they stated baked in-house, however, they looked like pull apart dinner rolls, they were cold and so was the butter. I was expecting a nice Italian bread (warm) with a nice olive oil/vinaigrette to dip. Meatballs - They were great! Handmade balls; were a bit on the dry side, however, the sauce totally made up for it. Bruschetta trio- NOT worth the price. The tomato, was just that- chopped tomatoes with olive oil. The asiago and artichoke, was good. The olive tapenade was extremely salty. Served on a one bite, served on a tiny slice of an untoasted baguette. Sun-dried tomato and mushroom pasta-we opted for penne instead of the linguine. Easy to change out pastas. The sauce was good, mushrooms seemed fresh, and paired well with the pasta. The pasta is made in-house, however, they were very thick. Special- chicken parmigiana with a blue cheese sauce. The sauce made the entire dish. The linguine, again was too thick; they were more like udon noodles. The chicken tasted like a pre-battered frozen breast- not tasty at all. Porchetta - we sent this back. The pork had a funny taste, the potatoes slabs were undercooked, and the gravy literally tasted like the package clubhouse demi-glaze you buy at the grocery store. Créme brulé - redeemed the night. It was silky, creamy, and the brulé was on point!
This is not our first visit. We have been to Zola's a few times but I think they have renovated since our last visit. Expensive but worth it. A very modern take on Italian food. I had the Seafood Paella. A traditional Spanish dish made with pasta instead of rice...loved it.
Terrific food, good atmosphere and the best staff. Love it for brunch and supper (pear & gorgonzola pizza is amazing!)
Always amazing.
Always great food. Terrific service too !
Great breakfast spot. The large sausages are the way to go.
Every time I went there, staff and Food has been AWESOME
The staff and service is amazing, good is very good and well portioned and they were amazing dealing with my gluten allergy. It is a bit on the expensive side to be honest but thats really the only downside Food
The service was very friendly, courteous, efficient - lovely! Our breakkies were perfect as ordered. Im a frequent visitor to Zolas and Ive never left with anything but great experience. Too bad that I couldnt take home one of their great frozen dishes for dinner this time!
One of those places that hasnt forgotten what great service is, and the food is great to boot.
Intimate atmosphere with delicious, well prepared food and excellent service. The attention to dietary restrictions is trustworthy. My girlfriend is celiac and she has confidence in their ability to meet her needs. We have enjoyed the experience on several occasions and intend on returning. Dietary restrictions: Celiacs and Gluten Free customers are catered to with confidence that no cross contamination will occur. This is a safe place to eat.
The atmosphere was great, and so was the food. Waited a bit too long to be served. Food
Great food and fantastic service. I highly recommend Zolas. My wife and I have been going there for years. Breakfast is also fantastic Dietary restrictions: Many options for gluten free meals.
Bam! Bam! Bam! 5 stars! Wow!
Family dinner for my wife s birthday. Experience was fantastic. Servers recommendation was perfect. Parking: Easy access, no concerns or challenges.
Service was slow, but it was extremely busy. Server was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the best mussels in town!!
Food is tolerable if you can get any. Ive tried multiple times to visit this location in person, or call for take-out only to be ignored at the door (even with a reservation), or to be put on hold till I grew an 11 oclock shadow. Youd think this far past the pandemic theyd have figured out their issues.
Our visit was a belated 66th birthday get together. We have been customers of Zolas for about as long as its been open. We have always enjoyed our visits, whether formal or casual.
Overall excellent experience. Our server was fantastic too!
There is no variety in pasta. There is no spaghetti, which is the most consumed in Italy. The closest thing is linguine with mushroom sauce. Another penne pasta with spicy tomato sauce. There wasnt much choice. I think the level has gone down and the prices have become more expensive. To not return. The best thing was the bread they give before eating.
An upscale menu in an eclectic relaxed atmosphere. The service was good and the servers friendly.
We tried this place as a friend who has Celiac recommended it. We had breakfast there and it was pretty standard. I had Eggs Benny. It was pretty slow coming out and my home fries were luke warm. The server took them from the plate to go reheat them which was not really a big deal as Im not in to wasting food and they tasted much better reheated. We picked up a few gluten-free items to try at home. We had a quiche and a lasagna.I also bought a pizza but havent tried it yet. My family found the lasagna a tad bit spicy but I like a little bit of spice so I liked it as is. They all liked it though. The quiche was just a classic quiche with a gluten-free crust. Overall, I found the service and food just fine. But in a city where there arent a ton of places that understand how to cater to people who cannot eat gluten and have to avoid cross contamination, this place is great to have around. I was just visiting town but I would definitely head back for dinner some time. It feels like a classic family kind of a restaurant.
Definitely try the sun-dried tomato & cheese tortellini and meat lasagna.
Isaac was a great server and food was excellent.
Breakfast was delish
Cozy popular spot, consistently excellent service and generous food portions!
Been going here for a few years, great little spot in bells corners. Pasta is always amazing. The bread rolls are also great. Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly
The service and the food is great. Nice place to have a gathering.
Fantastic food and friendly staff.
We went for a nice romantic date and are likely to come back. The internal atmosphere is great, albeit a bit dark/low-light.
We have always loved dinner for years!! Now Zolas is our new birthday breakfast family spot!!
It was crowded but the service was good, the food well prepared and delicious, and as a bonus, they had an excellent selection of gluten free food on the menu and frozen for take home.
Great service! Food was amazing! Kid-friendliness: Servers were kind and accommodating to our baby Food : 5/5 |
No regard for people s time , made me wait 30 minutes for a takeout order, The order was placed in advance so I don t have to wait . It wasn t even that they were busy , the place was more than half empty.
Very good options of gluten free meals
Went for blunch. Food freshly prepared. Friendly service.
Went for midday blunch as they call it. Breakfast was outstanding! Had the eggs Benny with capicola ham and everything on the plate was delicious and fresh! Food
food and service were excellent. Atmosphere is simple, tables close together but clean and bright.
Had an amazing GF birthday lunch last week. Our server was very knowledgeable, and has celiac children, so really went out of her way to assist with menu options. There were only a few items that were not able to be made GF. Definitely the most inclusive menu I have seen in a long while!
Its been decades since weve been to Zolas but it still has the same great food and top-notch service. We wont wait this long to go back.
Piece of plastic in the middle of my lasagna. Not even sure where it s from cause it s thicker and harder than the takeout container lid
Another fine meal. Quiet pleasant atmosphere. Took the leftover wine home to enjoy on the balcony.
Ive been coming here with my girlfriend every weekend for over month now and I have to say the food is really delicious and well presented. The menu has great variety to please all your taste buds and weve been enjoying it everytime. I highly recommend this place and I hear they have great pasta which we plan on trying one day.
Decent homemade linguine. Tasty, but slightly salty mushroom sauce. Overcooked chicken breast. Courteous and friendly service. Dietary restrictions: Gluten and celiac
Awesome food. I love this place!!!
Went there for brunch. Service and food were very good Food
FLY PROTEIN ANYONE! Zolas used to hold a big place in my heart because it was where I had my first date with my husband. But not anymore. Had lunch with a friend there this past week and after taking just one bit of my salad, I noticed a large, dead fly and brought it to the waitresss attention. The best Zolas Manager could offer apparently was a 20% discount because it was fly season and everybodys got flies and I could have accepted another salad or fries. So essentially putting it back on me that I didnt accept an alternative...not once did this manager apologize for the incident and would not simply do the right and smart thing and comp my $17 lunch. What a short-sighted and irresponsible position to take but one that cost him any future business from me, my husband, family, friends and everyone who reads my posts. You should be ashamed of your behaviour Zolas Manager - what a poor business person you obviously are.
Great Homely food and excellent service
Food was cold. Sausages were poor they must have changed suppliers. Service was not good. Because I have had dozens of very good experiences at Zolas I will give them one more chance.
blunch poutine goated, esp with a soft poached egg. why is it called blunch? dont ask too many questions
Great service and nice people
Excellent food!! Hadnt been there is years but was thrilled that it was all just as good as I remembered! Had the fresh pasta of course!
Great service, good food, nice setting. They had some nice music which was great background and non intrusive. A very nice evening
Very dissatisfied, we had a reservation for Mother s Day. We arrived on time, we were seated and we placed our order very quickly. We waited 1 hour before we were served. Everyone around us who came in after us received their meals. We were told that the kitchen was very busy. Over booked no staff on Mother s Day!!! They forgot about us, it can t take that long for French toast. We asked for are food and questioned about the length time we waited. They brought us some buns unfortunately the were to cold to eat. They must have just came out of the freezer. We finally got our food and it was a surprise to the small portions and the cost of the meals. They didn t waste anytime bringing the bill. We will not be returning.
I went to Zolas with about 12 colleagues from work for breakfast. This restaurant has a very unique atmosphere and the service was fantastic. Our food took a while to come but that is expected with a large reservation. I will go back to try something else on the menu.
My new favourite place, brunch and lunch food so theres something for everyone. Beautiful eclectic ambiance, excellent service and fresh food with quality ingredients. Highly recommend this gem.
Had take away fresh lasagna. It was a basic meat lasagna, nothing extraordinary.
Dietary restrictions: I am celiac and Zolas has a high rating on the find me gluten free app so I felt safe going there and they did not disappoint. Theyre friendly and knowledgeable. Food
Great food! Great service! Will definitely be back!
The food was quite good, we all enjoyed our meals. However, the service was rather poor, she was not attentive, no return to offer another drink/coffee, we had to flag down another waitress to ask for service from ours. Also, our waitress was not friendly, she had no personality. First time going to this restaurant, we may return to give it another chance, but not in a rush...
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Zala Breakfast. The live jazz music on Saturday nights and Friday night plays added a delightful touch to the ambiance. The kale and Caesar salads were both delicious and exemplified the commitment to offering healthy options. The combination of great food and live music made for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!
Great food and drinks. Price is great considering recent inflation. Service was excellent. Good choice of drinks including cocktails, wine and beer. They actually have the Sunsplit IPA, which I love! Our whole party was happy with the food, drinks and service! I really have nothing to complain about!
Fantastic management, service and cuisine!
Place was nasty dirty, table, menu was black, dishes, was all dirty. Food was uncooked (eggs) then potatoes half was old bash way over cooked and too mushy and half potatoes were undercooked (two separate bashes mixed together). Was our first time there and DEFINITELY OUR LAST we came out throwing up it was disgusting. Glass of water had fluff on it, just so terrible even the people sitting next to us couldnt believe it they didnt e en know whether they should stay or go.
Id like to try one more time
Excellent experience at Zolas. I have Celiac disease and after reading the reviews on the Find me Gluten free app, I decided to give it a try. They did not disappoint. Our server was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the risks. She helped me with the menu and reassured me about crossed contamination. The food was excellent! The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. We will return and tell our friends!
The food is pretty good. The fresh pasta dishes are excellent. Service could have been more attentive. Been to Zolas many times, never had anything to complain about and the food has always been good.
I had chicken and waffles, was very good. Dietary restrictions: Some gluten-free options Food : 4/5 |
Excellent food, great quality, great Coffee and very friendly service. Plus, they have meals to go fresh or frozen, many gluten free options. Really worth the visit!
Great food, great waitress. Came back with a nice homemade cherry pie..
We had the gluten free eggs benny for breakfast and they are amazing. So happy they offer many gluten free options. The service is wonderful and the owner Tony is so great. Highly recommend Zolas:)
Great food and service. Restaurant is small, and seating is tight, but it doesnt affect you once you are seated. Will definitely be back as this was our 1st time here and really enjoyed it.. Lauren, our server, was wonderful.
Very nice brunch today! Quite busy and not all that many staff members but no long waits and very good service!
Zolas classic was good. The restaurant was intimate.
Stopped in for brunch on Wednesday morning. They weren t busy so we were seated right away. The restaurant was clean and we enjoyed the food we were served. We go out for breakfast quite often and I was happily surprised to see that the beans we were served were in their own container on the plate. I gave the service 4 stars because the waitress, although she attended to us and asked if everything was going ok, barely cracked a smile and seemed more interested in chatting with the other staff. Other than that I was completely satisfied with my visit and will be back.
Bring back chicken and waffles!! Great service, and yummy food.
Have loved this place for more than 30 years.
The service was very good, the food was average .
Zolas is a unique restaurant with amazing food. They have always been consistent and the chefs in the kitchen really know what they are doing. My Fiancée and I absolutely love this restaurant either for brunch and the blunch poutine or egg sangwich or for dinner with their variety of options. Their pasta is to die for and their 10oz steak is made to perfection. I can t stop recommending this restaurant. Definitely worth the price. Breakfast is a bit cheaper than their dinner options. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options exist here Wheelchair accessibility: There is a dip onto the side walk that will allow people with wheelchairs to enter the restaurant
Superb Italian take on North American breakfast staples.
We were a large group. Service was good and food was delish. Will go back.
Love this restaurant! This time, just picked up a few desserts: pecan brownie only had one pecan on top but was yummy otherwise. The apple galette was delicious and crust was perfect and well be back for more
Good food, great coffee, friendly staff. Crowded on weekends, less so mid-week.
Was a pleasant suprise
Consistently perfect!
Not worth the cost.
We went for a business lunch, and with 10 people ordering, we experienced a lot of the menu. Looking forward to returning
Great food! Cozy place in Bells Corners well worth a short drive from Kanata. Although some of the art work for sale can be a little distracting, beautiful stained glass, brick walks and colourful plates add to the ambiance. Enjoy dinner, brunch or pizza takeout.
I m not one to normally write reviews or to complain, but I was just really bothered by my experience here. Showing up to the restaurant there were only two occupied tables in the restaurant and I had ordered the chicken and waffles. I was dining in with two friends. Both of my friends food had arrived at the table, I was told it would be another 2 minutes for my chicken. It took about 10 minutes for my food to come while the other people at my table already had theirs. When my food did come, the chicken was so poorly battered that half of it was already off when it got to the table. My beans were cold, and the two waffles were both hard as a rock.
There was hair in my food. When they charged me for the whole food, they said all my chefs are bold. If they were bold and it wasn t 100% mine, then where did it come from? It was a narrow hair, maybe an arm hair it was disgusting Will never come back here. Not because of hair, because of their answer: our chefs are bold !
Decent pasta and pizza restaurant! Lovely staff.
Good food, pizza nice
We went there on a Saturday night. The ambiance is nice and casual. There was an artist performing the acoustic guitar. We tried their artichoke + Asiago pizza.probably one of the softest pizza crust Ive ever had. tried their famous linguine with mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and rosé sauce. pretty unique dish. Their tiramisu was good but not outstanding. The service was great. Do give this place a visit
We had a birthday celebration here yesterday for my wife. We were a group of 22 and I must say that the food and service was excellent, couldnt ask for better. Thank you Carmen and your entire staff. We will definitely be back.
The calamari was over cooked. Food is good no more.
Great venue for live jazz every Saturday.
Great place to get breakfast, fast service and friendly service
The worst restaurant ever No manners no respect
We waited for over 15 minutes for any of the staff to come and seat us. Instead all staff were staring at us, ride staffs no manners and that includes the manager
Rude staff, no respect!!! Place is not clean
Horrible service bad food over priced and always trying to make money extremely dirty and the worst restaurant I ve ever been to.
Two people asked us if we had reservations and said they d clear a table. We ve been waiting for 10-15 min. And before we even were seated, they seated the people that arrived after us without asking them if they had a reservation. Overall, it wasn t a good first impression so we left.
A wonderful Valentines dinner at Zolas. Started off with the bread basket and fried calamari which was good but the batter was too thick. For mains we ordered a Gorgonzola Chicken and Angel Hair Pasta. The chicken was well made and tasted amazing, especially the Gorgonzola sauce! Angel Hair Pasta was simple, rustic and had a lemony, tangy sauce. Our server was wonderful too! Not to forget the Tiramisu which was delicious even when had the next day :)
A group of us went for dinner and we all enjoyed our pasta. Ive been to this restaurant many times and I am always satisfied. The ceasar salad and fresh buns are really good. The pasta is always fabulous. You can also buy dinners to heat up at home from here. Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options for both pasta and pizza Parking: In a plaza in Bells corners. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: One level entrance.
The food was amazing. Beautiful restaurant, cozy, wonderful staff, will definitely go back! The Creme Brule was the best Ive ever had! And you can order a 9 Oz glass of wine! Vegetarian options: They had several vegetarian options as well as gluten free.
My husband and I found Zolas on one of our drives soon after we moved to Ottawa last year. We decided to go in for brunch one morning and absolutely loved the ambience, the service and most importantly the food. We ve been back here so many times since and even introduced the place to our friends who equally love it! We ve had their pastas, the eggs benedict, the san marzano, wraps, steak, three + three. We cannot say enough good things about every dish. Its always fresh. I love their pastas made from scratch and their buns. We never leave without taking a dozen breads for home. They even have live music during dinners on the weekends. Definitely one of my fav restaurants in Ottawa!!
We arrived after a huge dinner rush. The hostess politely asked if we minded waiting a few minutes because they needed to clear tables (we didnt mind). We spent some time browsing the many to-go foods on offer and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of gluten free options. We ordered the 2 diet cokes, the caprese salad, a pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs (all meals ordered gluten free). Service was a bit slow (likely due to the rush) and overall food just isnt something to write home about... I am Italian so I do have high expectations (one of those being its a crime to cut spaghetti. And this pasta dish came pre-cut in small pieces, enough to be able to eat with a spoon!). The food didnt taste bad or anything....it just wasnt crave worthy at all. I did notice the place was a bit run down when I made a trip to the washroom. Total came to 99.74 (with %15 tip). Overall just big meh. Our waitress was super nice though :)
Surprisingly good
Although the service was exceptional, I was significantly underwhelmed by my salmon dinner. The fish was dry the vegetables were overcooked and blackened, the potatoes were dry and over seasoned. I can make much better at home for a quarter the cost. The salsa was mostly vinegar and inedible. I will not be back.
Food was fantastic definitely go back
Located in a strip mall, you would not expect much from this local eatery however, the food is spectacular. I had their chicken and waffle dish and was blown away. The waffles were some of the best I ever eaten. The rest of the dishes sounded very good. I will absolutely come back to this place as the prices are reasonable and the food is spectacular. They also have a very large selection of taking bake options for those who do not want to dine in.
A very classy place for a good breakfast. Great ambiance, nice decor, clean restrooms. The food is good, and the coffee is very decent, too. Their standard breakfast (two eggs, fries, toast, and a choice of meat) costs $13. Most other breakfast options are between $17 and $20. They charge extra for coffee. Overall, breakfast/brunch prices are very reasonable. The place gets packed, particularly on Fridays and weekends. Make reservations if you can.
My wife is a celiac and Zolas is known for being Celiac friendly. We gathered with our children and grandchildren for Easter brunch. The food was excellent.
Great breakfast and friendly attentive staff
Everything is amazing! Parking: Its at a mall, so lots of parking! Food : 5/5 |
Great breakfast during Ottawa power outage. Very busy but provided great food and service with the bonus of providing an outlet to charge my phone.
Worst breakfast ever. Looked so broken. Yuck
Great Persian food. The shish kabobs are great. Im probably the best onion rings Ive had in a long time. Not to mention excellent deep fried calamari.
The food was meh... We got a few different plates (4 people) and noone was impressed with the food. Lasagna lacked flavor and meat.. cannelloni tried both spinach and cheese and meat. The meat was over seasoned. Other was ok. The spaghetti and meatballs with 2 Xtra meatballs... The meat balls were almost still cold and way over seasoned... 30 dollars for Pepsi... Who charges refills on fountain pops? With average food and high prices I wont be back. Server was ok almost seemed like she avoided asking for refill because they werent free... I was just thirsty at least give me option before 3 of 4 glasses were empty at table. Id avoid disappointment here. Charcuterie was good.
Nice pizzas
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pasta was so good. Food
Decent breakfast. Excellent coffee
The most amazing homemade food!
Delish food and nice staff.
A rarity to find a restaurant that understands the importance and implications behind gluten free food and cross contamination. We were visiting Ottawa on Victoria Day and we wanted to stop and eat before the drive back home to Quebec. Many places we phoned were closed but when we called Zola we were greeted me with kind reassurance that yes they could welcome us and are familiar serving their gluten free options to clients with celiac. What a life saver that was. Our waitress explained that the family that runs and owns the restaurant have various people in their extended family who have celiac and as a result they are very knowledgeable, conscious and careful when it comes to cross contamination and dietary restrictions (not just celiac). The wait time was decent and the food was delicious. Evidently not everything on the menu can be made gluten free but they take the time to clearly explain which ones are and why. However, there are gluten free option in every section of food categories; whether pasta, pizza, salads, grills. There is a lot of seafood on the menu but the place does not in anyways smell like seafood so if seafood is not your thing your okay and if it is ; youre still okay. All the vegetables seemed blanched but yet very juicy and crunchy at the same time. I gotta admit I would have preferred my bell peppers grilled a bit with grill marks just to cook a bit deeper in the peppers and get the natural juices out a bit but it was otherwise very enjoyable. The steak was excellent cooked well done (as I requested) but a still very moist and tender steak cut. Some of the pasta options cannot be made gluten-free re but all the penne options can. Overall a very nice celiac friendly/safe experience. I would recommend and I would go again.
My go-to place for delicious gluten-free dinner in Nepean. The best.
Not cheap but very tasty. I was impressed with the coconut shrimp. they were so big i wasnt hungry for my meal. Food
Went with members of my wildlife group for breakfast meeting. I had called about hours..I think suggesting a reservation would be a nice added touch. A little wait for a table. Otherwise the breakfasts were amazing especially the Carole breakfast and the French toast. An elevated breakfast
Eggs benny was delicious
Love the food and the restaurant!
I really enjoyed the brunch. All the food was well balanced and the coffee was delicious. I felt their history in this restaurant. I strongly recommend this lovely Italian restaurant.
Best breakfast Ive ever had. Very friendly staff.
Excellent staff, you can order food even if it s not on the menu, they will try) it was very tasty and satisfying. Prices are reasonable.
Very good food, service and atmosphere. Really amazing gluten free options
Service was very slow although there were not many people in the restaurant.
Last Saturday, my wife and I visited Zolas! We had the Zola special (pasta, chicken & shrimp) and pasta with gorgonzola sauce. I started with a Caesar salad. The food was fresh and delectable! The service was excellent ! The atmosphere was funky, with hanging retro window panes with coloured glass & art on the walls for sale. To top things off, we had live music with a guitar softly playing in the background. This place is a gem!!!
I recently enjoyed dinner at Zola s. The food was excellent and it was refreshing to see an open kitchen in operation. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere inviting.
Great breakfast. Dont really want to say go eat here as I dont want it to get too busy. But its a great meal.
This place is on the expensive side, it had potential but I think it missed the mark. We ordered the pasta w prosciutto and mushrooms and the salmon which was 90 percent salad and a small piece of salmon. Unfortunately the food was bland, really lacking flavour. The cream sauce was flavourless and much too thin. The pasta itself was good but the entire dish was quite blah. The salmon was ok, left the skin on which I hate. Not at all fresh but cooked ok. The waitress asked me what blackened meant. Anyway, our bill was $78 total and honestly the entire experience wasn t worth half that. Sorry..
Love this place. Unassuming from the outside, but food is fresh, well seasoned and tasty. The gluten-free options are great and if you are too full, just stop at the front and get a dessert to go! Service is friendly and food comes pretty fast after ordering. Portion sizes are decent for the price with left-overs coming home with us. Downside? Maybe some of the meals were a bit over salted and the calamari slightly over fried but otherwise excellent food here. Definitely will be back!
Ive been going to Zolas for quite a number of years. Ive always found the service;food;and atmosphere to be excellent. Food
Food too oily over priced .
Take out was not edible. Pizzas had no flavour and dry and the eggplant Parmesan tasted metallic? I could not eat it. I was very disappointed!
Very friendly relaxed atmosphere. The menu offered many choices with the addition of all day breakfast on the menu. I didnt order breakfast but it looked delicious. The wraps, sandwiches and pasta we ordered were fantastic There was a choice of sides to choose from with the wrap and sandwich. So your not always stuck with fries. The servings for each of us was plenty. Sorry, no dessert, we were too full. Dietary restrictions: I have severe fish allergies. Precautions were taken to avoid cross consumption
I m a regular customer. The food and customer service are consistently amazing! Thank you so much!
Salad was barely edible, cheap balsamic vinegar, very spicy. Linguine with mushrooms + dried tomatoes recommended. Dessert was modest - very sweet, canned whipped cream. Worst of all, live music: too loud, singer should urgently take singing lessons. It was nice when it was over!!!
Vegetarian options: Lots of great salads on the menu. Food
Good food and good service.
I love Zolas... I go there often and am considered a regular. Its my go-to spot for breakfast or brunch. I love the atmosphere, quiet, cozy, and a little artsy. They always have local art on display. The food is great, a little different than the usual fair - always delicious. Staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. They have freshly made and frozen Italian food for purchase at the front with lots of gluten-free options available. Its a great place - easy 5 stars
Good food and service
After being less than enthused after some 30 years, my guest and I needed a place serving all day long. We arrived mid-afternoon. We shared a Caesar salad (served on two smaller plates ). My guest chose the crusted salmon with tiger shrimp (very pleased with it, except that for serving- it could have been slipped off the skin). I was very pleased with my mushroom prosciutto linguine. The dessert trio plate was a big hit, in that we could each experience a dessert right-sized. In that the tables are close together, I would say it diminished the atmosphere somewhat. All in all we will return. Vegetarian options: Available Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten free
I liked our evening. The food was very good. Atmosphere was good. I enjoyed the live music. Jazz piano and singer. It was full which tells you the restaurant has pedigre. It was a bit on the expensive side but thats to be expected post covid
Would not recommend !!! Too expensive for what you get. How is a chicken breast add on to a salad $10?!?! Food : 1/5
They need to hire some experienced cooks / chefs. Extremely disappointed. Food : 1/5
I ordered the sliders and they were okay. Nothing to write home about. The bread and meat were very dry, so it needed more condiments.
The food and service was excellent as usual and tonight there was also great live music!
Amazing Italian restaurant! Ive come here for dinner a few times and enjoyed my experience every time. I appreciate the fact that they have vegan options. I was able to create my own pasta dish a few times with vegan cheese sprinkled on top. The gluten-free pasta is vegan. I recently tried their vegetable Laksa bowl, which can be made vegan. It is my new favourite dish here! It was extremely delicious.
Good quality food, good friendly service.
Great place for celiacs and gluten-free dinners. Friendly service, but a little slow, which is expected when busy. Food
I visited here once. Service was very slow. Food was ok.
Great food, great service.
I go there often for breakfast. The food is really good, the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and thoughtful. Today I organized a Christmas luncheon there for my book club. I am so happy with the way it worked out. We had great food and wonderful service. Thank you!
Amazing food and service. I plan to go back many times!
