No matter when I show up the tables are always dirty. Its shame, I like the food but makes eating in the restaurant a chore.

Super delicious! I wasnt sure what to expect, but goodness gracious it was so good. Loved the dough, loved the sauce, loved everything. Service was so sweet and positive. Will go back again for a fun treat!

I ordered double cheese and half mozzarella, with potatoes. They were kind of dry for me. As a topping I chose mozzarella on top. Overall it was tasty, but not really for me.

super disappointed. the kdogs keep shrinking everytime i go. it is now ridiculous at this point since the prices have been going up. the kdogs are still good, don t get me wrong, but i do not think it is worth it for the price anymore. even my youngest sister who doesn t eat out a lot was disappointed.

We bought three corn dogs, all three were varying levels of raw. Raw, gloopy batter in the middle. We had one of them redone and while it was cooked more than the last, there was still raw batter.

I come here often for the hotdogs and chickens, they are amazing. Employees are nice, I can also get some drinks from Gong Cha right next to it, they have coffee and others. I like the sauce and seasonings that I can get on my hotdogs, there are many and really good. Chickens always come with fries together I think its great too.

Overpriced. Sausage tasted like the cheapest sausage from from any grocery store. The food looked good though and I liked the fries.

I loved the food. I just wish there was one closer to Blossom park. If I want one I have to go out of my way to drive to get one and uber doesnt deliver that far.

They have vegetarian options. There are quite a few options to create your own pogo . They re big and tasty. The only complaint I have is that it takes a little bit much for the food to be ready, maybe they should hire more staff or train them to be faster.

My wife had the sweet potato hotdog and I had the marble cheese hotdog. To my surprise there was no hotdog in the marble cheese? Why call it hotdog if there isnt one? False advertising. My wife didnt finish the sweet potato one.

Delicious vegetarian and halal options!

We normally love this place, but on this most recent visit we noticed the potato chunks we love have been replaced with frozen French fries. Also, my bf s batter was undercooked so he had some raw chunks he kept picking off. Flavour is still good, but some quality issues.

I like that the rice dog was freshly fried. I got the gamja rice dog and it was only okay for me flavour wise. I liked the different sauces we can put on top. The staff was nice and space has good seating that is shared with gongcha. Its a good substantial snack for the price point :)

I ve tried the whole mozzarella hot dogs and they re delicious. However been to the location twice and they didn t have only chicken sausage both times. That s there only full chicken hot dog option on the menu, they should just strike it off the menu if it s never available.

2023 May 3 Hot dog covered in a light fluffy batter. Same expectations as every other location as this is likely a franchise location. Unlike a typical pogo corn flour batter, this batter is lighter. Panko bread crumbs on the outside make this crispy. This location is shared with the bubble tea shop inside.

Disappointed to see that my corndogs were so small compared to the other Chung Chuns Ive been to. When I pointed it out to the server, he said they are normal, good night. I left very unsatisfied with the service at this location.

It was an interesting adventure. You build your corn dog, from the meat to the toppings. It wasnt as straight forward but it wasnt rocket science either. Staff was nice but rushed. Was there at a busy Saturday afternoon. Long -ish line. Spacious. Fair amount of seating. Tables were dirty. Glad there was bubble tea shop there too. Good price. Huge. Very filling. Loves the melted cheese inside mine.

The best Korean food I have eaten. Volcano is my favorite rice dog. I suggest you place the order before, because it takes time. But good quality price

Not sure why my dogs are so small when I saw other peoples dogs going up to the cardboard separator. Also, Im not sure what the purpose of the staff wearing gloves are since they touch everything and are constantly cross-contaminate everything. The guy in the front was working taking orders and handling the items up front.l before going to the back to help with the food. The guy in the back, whos is making the food, also comes to the front and starts handling all the items on the counter before going back and handling the food.

Tasty, relatively quick, and the price is pretty reasonable if youre not having it every day of the week. Theres a ton of customizability and ways to mix it up, but if youre picky like me, there are no ups and downs with the quality - it tastes perfectly the same every time, so no bad surprises! Vegetarian options: They have a veggie dog, as well as a chocolate dessert hot dog. Dietary restrictions: You can ask the staff about what goes into the different types of hot dogs, so no worries there. Kid-friendliness: Its fried hot dogs and cheese. What kid wouldnt love that?

Really tasty and good value! There are a few of these locations around the city and I think this is my favorite one. Theyre usually quick and the hotdogs are tasty. Theres a good variety on the menu as well and the staff are helpful if you have any questions

First time to this chung chun location. Staff was very friendly and polite. Hot dogs look and taste amazing.

Finally they opened one near Barhaven, we don t need to go all the way to Kanata anymore! I was never a hot dog fan for being in non- healthy category of food but these hot dogs are hard to resist! I love the volcano.

Happy to see a new Chung Chun location in Nepean serving Korean rice dogs, similar to corndogs but made with rice flour. They have a bunch of interesting menu items ranging from a regular hot dog to mozzarella cheese to chocolate. Additional costs for customizing the fried topping (ramen, potatoes, etc) but free and unlimited sauce and seasoning. Service was friendly but it took a bit longer than GTA locations for the order to be prepared though I expect this to improve since they just opened. Ventilation inside isnt great and waiting inside leaves a smell of oil in your hair and clothes.

Went on Sunday around 1pm and it was roughly a 20-minute wait for 7 customizable k-dogs. I ordered a mix of mozzarella and beef k-dogs with the original, potato & ramen chip toppings. The half & half option with cheese and sausage is my favourite. You are able to choose from a variety of sauces as well. My favourite was the sweet chilli sauce. The dough is impressively crispy and fluffy, even though I ate it 30 minutes from the time of receiving the order. It does not taste the slightest bit greasy or oily, which I find can be an area of improvement for some other Ottawa k-dog spots. This location is definitely comparable the ones in Toronto that I have been to. It is a must-visit!

My first visit here, I don t eat beef however I was happy with the choice of mozzarella cheese and veggie. I ordered mozzarella with potato, added hot sauce, ketchup and mustard, so delicious and of course I ended up getting veggie one as well, equally delicious . It was quick and delicious meal.

First time at this location, lots of variety and friendly staff. Was recommended the crowd favourite Volcano rice dog with hot sauce. Volcano was a great choice. While waiting for the rice dog orders, we went to the other counter to order some bubble tea at Gong Cha counter. Perfect pairing with the rice dogs.

Super yummy, best kdog in ottawa! I got the half mozzarella half hotdog with potatoes. I added sugar, honey butter, mayo and ketchup for my toppings and it was the best combination :)

Even though the location is far from downtown, it s worth the drive. The layout is well thought out as there s bubble tea on one side (gongcha is the name of the adjacent business) and the Korean corn dogs on the other side. You get to choose from various fillings, toppings and sauces and I find it decently priced for what you get. It is surprisingly light and not too greasy for what it is (fried cheese lol). I really enjoyed my experience and would recommend the full cheese (mozz) covered with potatoes + bbq + honey mustard. Will be going again!

Slow. Really slow. And the hotdogs are mediocre. Sausages taste really cheep and the doughs are neither chewer or fluffy. Tried gamsung, raymen and mozzarella, but none were impressive.

Good food but I feel the quality control could be better because some days they are significantly smaller. The Kanata location is more consistent in my opinion.

Service was quick and friendly. This location has a bit of seating and is inside the same space as gongcha which is nice since you can get a bbt with your Korean corn dog. I think this is like a dollar more expensive than the Chungchun in Toronto but that didn t bother me too much. I wish they would open one in the east end!

Best place for kdogs, better texture than flour based ones imo. It was crispy-chewy and the flavor was good, lots of sauce options to choose from. If its busy, you might have to wait quite a while for your order.

First visit and the food was incredible for a supped up pogo. For sure this would be a revisit and very clean and tidy. Staff have a great personality and polite.

This place is SOOOOOO good. Obviously! It s fried cheese. I don t eat the hot dogs for personal reasons but I m sure those are delicious too. Korean Rice Dogs are an interesting treat as well as very fun and tasty. The service here is also exceptional. Everyone is very friendly. I ve had all the toppings and my absolute favourites are the crispy ramen and the regular potatoes. All the sauces and sprinkled toppings are delicious as well. Another bonus is that there is the bubble tea spot alongside it so it s a double treat. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Try this at least once!

After being mildly intrigued, my wife and I decided to visit for lunch today. As seen in the picture I got the chicken nugget encrusted dog with bbq sauce, parmesan and mayo, while she got the french fry encrusted half beef half cheese with chipolte, ketchup and cheddar cheese. We shared bites, as one does when they want to eat everything in the world despite your drs frantic screams. So I can talk about both. I would do separate reviews but both would just result in me using a thesaurus for the word delicious and frankly I dont want to spend 2 hours typing this review. It was super cripsy and crunch on the outside. The batter itself was soft and chewy in a good way. You can tell a. These are made to order and b. Not overfried. While it was rich, it was not greasy like overcooked fried food. The core, sausage and cheese, was well seasoned and tasty. We washed it down with their signature pineapple-ade which provided a sweetness and tang that paired well with these. Next time I earn a cheat meal from my diet, and my Dr is distracted, i will come back and try more of the menu

They got the perfect rice dog combine with variety of sauces you chose. My favorite item is the volcano, a bit spicy but with honey mustard and butter garlic, it is divine. The place is new, so it really clean and neat, there are also Gongcha bubble tea inside. The staff is super friendly, if you are overwhelmed by the menu, they offer the best recommendation. Check it out, right in college square!

After an absolute terrible day (even week), the server here made my day. He was very kind and happy. The food was delicious, the bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I got the sweet potato dog. Will definitely go back to try different flavours.

This was my first experience having Korean hotdogs and all I can say is, where have you been all my life. I loved the beef with sweet potato coating with classic Korean sauce. My favorite is the beef and rice cake with flakes coating. Everything made to order so a bit of a wait but oh is it worth it. Reheats in oven beautifully. This will definitely be one of my go to places.

Ive had now the sweet potato, fried chicken, volcano and chocolate. All are exceptional - the chicken was a little lackluster but the crunch makes up for it. But let me tell you that chocolate one is the best darn dessert I have ever had. I took a bite and was IN LOVE. My new favourite thing to eat.

I work until late in the night, and occassionally I ll look for a quick bite to eat. Normally, I go to the Subway or Popeye s, but I wanted to try something different for once. Chungchun caught my attention. The choice was absolutely worth it. I ve never tried a Rice Dog before, but it was stellar. Really wishing I got two instead of one, because it was extremely delicious. I ll definitely be coming back here again. The dog i chose was the Original Chungchun dog, with Spicy Mayo on top. Nice and crispy, and the meat was juicy. The sauce added a nice kick to the dog as well. Also got a Chocolate Milk Tea from the Gong Cha in the same building. As I am typing this, I am drinking that. Also fantastic. Highly recommended.

Loved every bite! My first time here, was heading to Starbucks, a few doors down but saw this and had to try it. Definitely happy about my Segway. I ordered the ramen dog, My husband had the cheese hot dog and my knees had them mozzarella. Many different sauces to top it off. The hot dogs are like a piece of artwork. The store was very clean, kind, personable. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Ordered the gamsung hot dog and unfortunately it was undercooked (there was weird goop around the hot dog under the potatoes) and the person behind the counter served me another one to replace it. The second one was better but still a little undercooked. Maybe the frying oil is a little old or whoever made my hot dogs today kept using too much batter/potatoes. The quality was definitely better when Chungchun first opened at this location.

I love these K-Dogs so much! My go-to are fully mozzarella. I like to explore the many toppings and sauces and create new combinations. My favourites include gamsung (potato) topped with cinnamon sugar and ramen topped with butter garlic.

Ordered with Uber eats, and was not expecting how big they are, but they are the best corn dog Ive ever had.
