We very much enjoyed our first visit to Persis Grill in Bells Corners today. The food was nicely prepared (although the lamb shank was a little dry), the Persian music created a lovely ambiance, and the service, including by our waitress Yegan, was excellent! Some other nice touches were the tea served in a glass teapot and tea glasses, the linen napkins and the sugar cubes in a proper sugar bowl -- not little packets.

Family treated me for my birthday dinner there. Very nice atmosphere, delicious persian food, amazing service (thanks Mitra and the team). It was not the first time going there but each time is better than the last one. Interestingly there was few other birthday gathering there as well that added to the joy. And finally the persian ice-cream and baklava completed the dinner.

Thought I may be hungry at my first visit but was so pleasantly surprised how filling the food was. Would rather be here than take out or another restaurant. We found Persis on a walk from our hotel really glad we did! What a wonderful spot! Our server Mithra explained the various choices. Persis Grill in Nepean is without a doubt the best Persian restaurant in Ottawa, and is even better than many Persian restaurants in Toronto. The food is fresh and authentic and most importantly, savoury. The service is also excellent. In particular, Yeganeh was delightful and attentive when serving our table. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I hadnt eaten Persian food in a while, and this was a reminder of how much I love the cuisine. Mild and subtle in flavor but by no means bland, its worth the trek. I had the Kashk Bademjan, Zeitoon Parvadeh, the Chicken kebab, Fesenjan and Ghormeh Sabzi. All of it was fabulous, and each dish had a distinct taste. Some were on the sweeter side and some, like Ghormeh Sabzi, were on the tangy side. I also had a Kichessippi Amber Ale, a firm favorite. Our server, Mitra, was an absolute gem too. Well worth it!

A couple of days ago I had dinner at Persis grill in Bells corner, it was an exceptional experience and the meal was outstanding and satisfying, specially Sultani Kebab, it was out of the world. And we finished our meal with a fantastic Saffron Ice Cream which was really delightful. A special thank to the server for providing us with wonderful cocktails .

I had a negative experience dining at Persis Grill recently. their menu is confusing but how they dealt with my complaint bugged me more. I was charged 15 $ for just the rice portion of my order (I ordered a speciality rice, without ordering one of the main dishes, and I was charged the for the price of an extra white rice portion in addition to the speciality rice price.). I tried to voice my complaint and was told by the manager that my order was uncommon. well, my order was from your menu! The solution he offered to resolve my complaint was that the next time Im in I should mention that I was once over-charged and ask for a discount. There wont be a next time for me but you should really establish better customer satisfaction efforts if you want people to consider coming back to you.

Lovely venue inside (despite Days Inn looking a little shabby behind it). Good service and great food. I had the lamb shank It cane served on a dill rice and with a bowl of delicious goop. Not sure what I was to do with the goop, I dipped my falling apart lamb into it (yum) and eventually poured the rest over the rice (yum). Spicing was unique (not sure I ve had Iranian cuisine before) and tasty. Very fresh as each spice seemed to dance to its own drummer and not meld into one thing No lunch menu or specials though

A very warm and inviting atmosphere. We were fortunate to get a corner window table on Friday, April 26th. We had views both east and south of the beautiful April evening weather in luxuriously comfortable seats. Our waitress was charming, thoughtful and blessed with a delightful sense of humour. The food was superb. Every one in our group of 4 ordered something different and we all thought the meals looked sumptuous and inviting as they arrived and that the flavours were refined and exquisite. We were able to enjoy a long evening of conversation along with this memorable meal. We look forward to returning again the next time we find ourselves in Kanata. Those of you who live close by, dont miss visiting this delightful Nepean gem, particularly if you are staying in the hotel nearby.

My first experience in persis Grill was Ok. The atmosphere is really nice, but the food is not the best. We tried Barg kebab and chicken kebab. Barg kebab didn t have the best taste compared to its price (32$) but it was okay. Also, the portion for chicken kebab was really small compared to other Persian restaurants but the tase was good. The atmosphere is really nice and it gives such a good vibe. Overall, I think it s good for one time experience.

My first visit to Persis Grill left much to be desired. Despite a welcoming ambiance and well-arranged tables, the overall experience fell short of expectations. From lacklustre appetizers to overpriced main courses, the restaurant failed to deliver on taste and value. Upon arrival, the hostess greeted us with a warm smile, setting a promising tone for the evening. However, the optimism quickly waned as we delved into the menu. Our appetizers, unfortunately, failed to impress. The soup lacked any discernible flavor, leaving us underwhelmed, while the kashk-e-bademjan was equally devoid of taste. Opting for the special for two platters as our main course, we found it mediocre at best. Despite its hefty price tag, the quantity and quality of the dish left much to be desired. It was evident that the prices did not align with the portions offered the servers made sincere efforts to provide good service, and their lack of experience and knowledge regarding the menu items was apparent. This detracted from the overall dining experience, as we found ourselves uncertain about the dishes being served. Moreover, the pricing seemed excessive, with cocktails priced at $14.99 and a three-skewer platter commanding a steep $57.99. The additional charge of $14 for extra nuts on top of the rice further compounded the issue of overpricing. Despite these shortcomings, the ambiance of Persis Grill deserves commendation, earning it four stars. However, the food quality and service fell short of expectations, warranting only two stars for food and three stars for service. In conclusion, while Persis Grill offers a pleasant atmosphere, the overall quality of food and service may leave diners wanting more.

I order kebab Torsh it was one of the worst meals I ve ever eaten.the meat didn t cook well also was not marinated very well it was just meat and walnuts .I felt very bad after I opened the container ver messy and disgusting .just waste money I never try this restaurant again.

We went for my fathers birthday, and it was an amazing experience. Immediately upon walking in, all of us were extremely impressed by the atmosphere. The seating was comfortable and we felt very welcomed. The food was well seasoned and our server was excited to share how to enhance the meal with the sumak on the table. Our experience at the New Years party at Persis Grill was disappointing. The event lacked proper organization, and there werent any specific plans. Unfortunately, the food quality was poor and the service inconsistent, with waiters attending to only a few tables and ignoring others. Due to the way the tables and chairs were arranged, it was a bit challenging to move around. We heard that the staff wasnt aware of the expected number of guests, which might have affected how things were handled. Considering these issues, I dont plan on returning for future events. I wouldnt suggest this place to friends because of the overall service quality, especially regarding the food.

We visited persis grill Bells corner location. The place has a nice ambience. The service was great and food was fantastic. We received complimentary mushroom soup which was really good. We ordered MirzaGhasemi for appetizer which came with warm bread, very tasty and good portion size. For mains we ordered Barg and Chicken Fesenjan. The Barg was simply outstanding, very succulent, cooked to perfection. It is a MUST try. Chicken Fesenjan was also good. The salad that accompanied the platter were very fresh. Overall the restaurant is little pricey and the portion sizes are just right. Their grill items are 5/5 and the ingredients they use including meat are high quality and fresh. The food was amazing. The kabobs were delicious, the rice was excellent, everything looked, smelled, and tasted great. The manager even swung by to check on us. I have nothing bad to say at all about this place. My mom - quite the picky eater - had nothing but praise for the food.

The best Persian restaurant in ottawa. My parents are very picky when it comes to restaurants, and this is the only one that they love coming back to. Very, very slow service. The staff were friendly but there were only 4 tables of people max and we waited 1/2 hour to order them over an hour for food. The rice was amazing. The calamari wonderful. The Mirzaghasemi was excellent. The chicken kabobs was okay.

Nice new Persian restaurant in Bells Corners. We ordered a few dishes and each one was top notch. The dessert was also great, the saffron ice cream is a must try! Will visit again.

Came with a group, who made the reservation months in advance, for 5pm. It s 7:15pm and no sign of our dinner order and other tables outside of our group, who came in an hour later, have already been served. Terrible service for group.

Came in with reservations with a group of about 45 people. Management totally dropped the ball. Sat here for 2 1/2 hours waiting for our food. Feel sorry for the servers as they probably wont get much in the way of tips. The owner of this place is in the wrong business

I m a big fan and customer of the Persia Grill in Orleans, although I live in kanata but would make the trip there for this amazing food and awesome atmosphere..was super excited that it opened closer to home, unfortunately not the same standards! Atmosphere is very elegant.. but the food no where near the original one! The plates were smaller and portions smaller. The chicken was very dry, I loved their sweet rice and upgraded my side rice to it, but serve forgot so instead 15 minutes later she brought en the toppings to add myself to my how cold rice :/ the complementary mushroom soup was ok.. bread was not fresh and warm..we loved that they gave the kids little boards to keep them busy! Hope they up the quality like the one in orleans :(

Parking: I traveled from Toronto and I heard lot about this restaurant. Its beautiful outside but we were not allowed to sit inside because I had a very small dog and it was extremely hot outside. Even the restaurant was not busy and chairs inside were empty. Service was amazing and beyond the expectations as they were checking on us every 5 to 7 min and I thought its a bit too much but they are extremely friendly and nice. Food could be better. There was not enough salt and pepper in the food and rice was not a good quality it looked and tested half cooked. Chicken was delicious but beef kabob was not marinated right and did not test fine. Overall I do recommend this restaurant just because of their services.

Solid food and menu. Environment is quite nice and feels upscale, but potentially on the line of being a little pretentious. Just seems a little out of place for the (very) casual locale of Bells Corners.

Wow best Persian food, service and atmosphere. Mirzaghasemi spread as an appetizer was served on delicious pita pieces. Lamp chops were perfectly spiced and prepared. Too bad I live too far to eat here much more often but will be back soon.

Delicious Kobide Kabab and Rice.

We ordered takeout from Persis Grill for the first time tonight and it was amazing! The food was fantastic, great portions and the salad was so fresh and crisp. Love that most of their menu is gluten free too. We will definitely be back!

This is a nice place for some staple Persian food ( I have always liked Persian food so I could be biased). Food is great tasting but the quantity could be a bit more. I am used to big platters of Vancouver Persian restaurants.. I really liked the decor and cutlery etc.. the little things that are often overlooked.. we had the chicken shish, lamb chops, lamb shank, and chicken stew .. they are either short staffed or just family run .. either way service was slow.. despite how fast the girls were trying to get things done.

Went there for lunch with a family member and we werent sure what to expect. The place has really nice seating and luxurious feel. It was empty when we arrived although it was 12:30 and we expected to see a big lunch crowd. We were worried that maybe this place is not good but they surprised us with service and the most important part, the food! The food was exceptional. We started with a complimentary soup and we ordered two main dishes from their stew section in the menu. We ordered the beef stew and the lamb shank and both were so flavorful and perfectly cooked!! I highly recommend this place to anyone want to try yummy persian food in the west end. We thought the prices were reasonable for the quality and amount but definitely not a cheap place!

We had dinner at Persis and I really liked the quality of the food and the service. The ambiance was great and the servers were well trained and professional. Food was served well.. first the soup and then some salad and then the kabab dish with rice.. the food kept coming which was great and kept us busy while we chatted. The kababs were juicy. We tried soltani , vaziri and kabab torsh and they were all well made! I would go back to Persis. I have however ordered take out from Persis and the quality wasn t consistent.. it could be that kabab should be eaten fresh and it makes sense.. I hope the restaurant keeps the quality consistent as we really need a good Persian restaurant in ottawa Kid-friendliness: I like that a kid was given a device to play with

It was a beautiful experience tantalizing our tastebuds! We wilp definitely be back. Very comfortable seating! A warme atmosphere and our server Khadija was wonderful! Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of families with small children in the restaurant and they were we ll accommodated.

Table reservation on the phone was easy. As soon as we arrived, I could not realize if the restaurant is open or closed. The outdoor sign was very dark and there was no lighting on the building to attract people. Restaurant was almost without any customer at the time we entered at 6 pm. The furniture were very beautifully arranged and looked luxury and comfortable. We were seated at the very far corner. The server brought glasses of water and spilled water on the table. I need to mention that the last time we were there, the server dropped all the glasses on the table and shattered them all over the table. It seems that the waitresses are always new in the job and very un-experienced. We made our orders and I asked to bring all kabobs in one big family size dish with separate individual rice dishes. The rice came in one big dish, which was not what I wanted. Koobideh was good. Barg Kabob looked smaller than expected, Chicken kabob was ok, but not exceptional, and Torsh Kabob was the worst and very difficult to chew. Rice with safron was good too. Something else that I did not like was that next coming customers were seated just beside our table, although the rest of this big restaurant was still empty. We could hear the conversation of people sitting in the other two tables and it was kind of annoying. The whole time we were sitting there, from the moment we sat on our table to the time that we left the restaurant took one hour and 15 minutes. We even didnt want to have any dessert and rejected the complimentary tea that we were offered. We wanted to go out as soon as we could, since we did not feel the peace that we were expecting to have while we are having our dinner.

I ordered Mahicheh which is basically Lamb Shank, Rice and Salad through UberEats. Well the food is good but for the same quality and portion of food, other restaurants are charging at least $10 less. So I would definitely not recommend this restaurant unless you are out of option. Reply to Persis: Buddy just order from other places and check their quality, taste & quantity and compare the price for your food. Thats all you need to focus

I first tried this restaurant about a month ago. We enjoyed our experience so much we could not wait to try it again, and finally made it back tonight. We had the lamb shank (Mahicheh) with green rice (dill and fava beans) which was very tasty and the meat was so tender it just fell off the bone. We also ordered the chicken stew (Fesenjan). The chicken was so tender, and the ground walnuts make the stew thick and almost creamy while the pomegranate gives it a sweet, tart taste, making this dish unbelievably delicious. We had this with a generous portion of sweet rice which was incredibly tasty, even on its own, as it had cranberries, various nuts, orange peel and other additions. In fact, I had ordered this the first time as well, along with the beef stew (Ghormeh-sabzi) which was also fantastic. I will be back again with friends and family.

We reserved for a group of 65 people for a special milestone birthday for a dear friend. On the day of the event, the owner surprised us with a beautiful backdrop decoration befitting this important celebration. The food was amazing everybody enjoyed what they ordered and commented on how delicious it was. The service was great and we were helped by Fatima who did her best to serve our group. A big thank you to Persis Grill- Bells Corners for an excellent event and service. This is our first big gathering to be held there and we ll definitely hold other upcoming events there!

The occasion is to celebrate our dearest friend 80th BD and we were around 65 people. We had a large group celebration at Persis grill in Bells Corners and the food and service were outstanding. Our attendant was Fatima and she was extremely pleasant, handled a lot of requests with a smile and was very efficient. A really great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.

I attended a special event at this location and it was truely a big success. The food was amazing with a menu that has a lot to chose from. The food quantity and quality was great. The service was excellent and very quick. Dietary restrictions: Special diet. I had the Grilled Salmon.

Went there with a few friends and bill was around 300$ Khadijah was our server and let me start off with there was a hair in my friends food which is disgusting and unsanitary she gave me and my friends a attitude and was very unprofessional I seen another worker vaping and on her phone when we didn t tip she made a sound unbelievable! Very unprofessional. I will be contacting the owner and sharing details for sure, I would go to a different location definitely not this one!

Nice spacious restaurant with authentic Persian kebabs. The portion size and food quality were good. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. I had the best Barg Kebab I had in Canada. It was juicy, tender and delicious.
