Specializing in fresh high quality hand crafted food & delicious craft beer all within a cozy pub atmosphere.
Stopped in for lunch. The place was empty but it was a Monday. I found the menu to be somewhat limited and pricey. I paid 10$ for a bowl of chicken noodle soup that came with a piece of toasted baguette, my son had a wrap with fries. He said the wrap (crispy chicken) was just ok, the fries looked great but were sub par. Definitely not worth 22$. First and last time for me.
Good service, short waiting time, good food.
Had a quick pint, enjoyed some wings and Penny was friendly and quick. She recommended a good beer and was happy and personable.
We arrived and waited to be seated, and we got a yell just find a seat. 10 min later no one had seen us, no servers and the bartender was just dealing with Uber eats. How disappointing. We left without any actual service.
Local pub fare which I thought was pretty good. I had the chicken wrap and fries and my companion had the mushroom veggie burger with poutine. Fries were really good and tasty, fresh cut and salted. I really liked my wrap, thought the wing sauce and dressing tasted quite good. I liked this place. Service was good and friendly.
This was a nice restaurant, not crowded at all when we went! The food was good but the veggie burger quite dry with no sauce, which would have made it a lot better. The side salad was also mediocre, but overall the food was good. The server seemed to lack confidence but was friendly.
Food was good and the service was fast and very friendly. We were there just as it open so it wasn't busy. If you get the BBQ Cheese Burger, make sure you have a big mouth because it's huge! Very tasty!
Everything is a little too expensive for the quality. Navhos were overpriced but decent and probably the best thing we ordered there. Burger was super bland. The ingredients in the burger were cooked fine, but there was basically no sauce noticeable and the patty was not seasoned at all. Poutine was alright. Fish was okay, a little dry and nothing to write home about. The Holiday Sandwich was not a sandwich. "Topless Ciabatta" means there's only 1 soggy half of the bread on the bottom. Stuffing was alright, but the chicken breast was dry as a desert.
Over priced
It was corporate servings
Was there last Monday to enjoy the great wings , great atmosphere and exceptional service provided by Jenny . Great deal on wings and bill was very affordable .. Highly recommend to go on Monday nights to enjoy the great wings atmosphere and amazing and friendly service
Love the food. The different locations all have there charm. My favorite is in Almonte
Pub-style food with an upbeat twist .featuring fantastic 1000 Island Brewery beers on tap
Very flavourful food, great atmosphere and amazing service!
Excellent manager and management. We watched all soccer games. Excellent service and food.
Took a group of 25 of us at 10pm, great service on short notice!
Failed to tell us that the kids desert that comes with meal was unavailable as their freezer was broken. No substitution or discount offered. Left with an upset kid. Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu. Plus kids eat free on Sunday.
Very nice place , good service and good food
A large group of friends (12-15) went there a few weeks ago and the service was slow and not great. It was not busy at all (inside or outside), we sat on the patio and it was 15-25 mins between every interaction with our server. 3 of us got there ahead of the group and ordered 3 drinks and apps, our server was not sure if they had the beer I had requested she came back 10-15 minutes later with two options for me which wad nice but then took another 10 minutes to come back. She brought my two friends their drinks but not mine, I did however get my appetizer. The rest of the group had arrived and she took their orders. After another 20ish minutes she brought the rest of the tables drink but served me last even though she had served the person next to me and I ordered before them. They never cleared any of our plates until we started putting them on the empty table across from us. I do understand with larger groups things can be chaotic but most of my friends and I have been in the industry and the service was beyond terrible. Even bringing the bills she had to go back as a few were incorrect and it took her 10 minutes to return.
Good place to eat!
I wanted to hop on and provide a review for the Barley Mow in Barrhaven. I have been going there for 15+ years and I can honestly say the improvements over the years in food quality and menu are insane! Every time we go the food is absolutely amazing and the staff are attentive, kind, down to earth and amazing with our 5 year old daughter! Keep up the great work Mow staff!!
Only good for [update] live music by Jimmy Cochrane or [end of update] drinks on a Friday. Food takes too long. Ok, I know the place and didnt expect much but have been waiting for food for over 45 mins. Its 7:30pm and the table next to us had to leave because they have kids and have been waiting over an hour. Not cool! It wasnt the wait staff, it was the kitchen. Get some new short order cooks.
Went in with a party of 40. Made reservations the day before... To say they were understaffed is an understatement. 2 servers and 1 cook for all of us and the rest of the patrons. Our server was actually very nice and was doing her best. My burger was overcooked but was alright. My son liked his wings
Over priced pub fare and not great at that. Tried this place a few times expecting it to be better somehow but always feel disappointed and wallet lighter after. Over 100$ for apps 2 drinks and a main is ridiculous. Go spend an extra 50 $ at a nice restaurant and feel like you get your moneys worth. One thing is that they are consistent with this at multiple locations.
My wife and I have been frequent customers at this location ever since the spring of 2023. We would rave about the excellent wings and fries appetiser and had agreed that their calamari with lemon seasoning was the best anywhere. We really enjoy sitting out on their patio and enjoying the atmosphere. Additionally, there is one server there who is particularly friendly and very attentive to the tables he serves. He made us feel as if we were the only customers there. The last time we went was in the fall of 2023 and we made our usual order, wings & fries with an order of the lemon seasoned calamari. We could tell that there was either a new chef, the quality of the food had declined, or both. We went last night around 7pm hoping that this time, Barley Mow Barrhaven would win us back. The host was extremely friendly and she immediately made us feel welcomed. This establishment should feel very grateful to have her as an employee, she is fantastic. Unfortunately, when a waiter we had never met before came over to our table with beads of sweat dripping from his forehead and the first words were, Im overwhelmed our evening took a turn. We felt as though we were inconveniencing him by being there and could periodically hear him talking under his breath muttering profanities because of how stressed he was with the 2 parties that had arrived just after we got there. We got our usual order. The wings and fries were excellent and we really enjoyed them. We requested the calamari to have the old lemon seasoning because theyve changed it on their menu and they were very accommodating that way. Unfortunately, the calamari was night and day to what we ate this time last year. The squid was chewy and the breading was soggy. After the experience we had at Barley Mow, my wife and I are likely not to return due to the service we received from the wait staff and the dramatic decline in the quality of the food.
Visited for lunch, March 28. Server was great but food was lousy! Philly steak sandwich was made from old beef. Salt dish with fries unacceptable and burger was 2/5. Westboro location is like night and day. Complained but no reaction except to say try something else next time!!
I went on St. Paddy s wing night and the wings looked a little too pink for my tastes but that s alright. The spices I sprinkled on were savoury. It s actually cheaper to buy a Shirley Temple than a fountain pop, so bring your sweet tooth.
Great fish and chips!
Always a great spot
Vegetarian options: Cauliflower bites and fries Parking: Parking is free Food : 2/5 |
Went for the big amazing zucchini but it wasnt as big as used to be. Bit of a letdown. However the service was great the atmosphere is typical of any old pub and the prices were.
Great food and fantastic service!
Good food!!! You have to go with time, but it is worth the wait.
Erica was amazing, and makes me want to come back!
Erica was a phenomenal server 10/10 friendly, relatable, funny Will come back
Very diverse menu for a pub. Delicious food, and kids eat free on Sundays. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend coming!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and patronage here. Everyone was very pleasant. I had the Cattle Dunk, which is a fancy name for Beef Dip. I was told by the staff that this is made with the left-over shavings of the Prime rib from the weekend prior. Im often drawn to the beef dip when reviewing restaurants, and this one definitely made my top 10 list. The only thing I would recommend is to change the bun to something that better fitts in the O Jus dish. Overall, it was a great experience. As always, dont forget to tip your waitstaff, Cheers!
Food
Do not go to this location. The location on Merivale is much better. The waiter was quite rude. We were sitting there for over an hour and he did not ask us once if we wanted food, after asking another waitress for someone to come take out order, we waiting another 15 mins and left. Spend your money elsewhere.
Service and food was great.
Amazing service, Kota was super nice and made sure my order was perfect!
Not the best beer selection however excellent service and food. Very good breakfast and dinner options
I m really confused by the 5 star reviews- this place is filthy. We originally sat by the window and there were chewed finger nails on the window sill and a rotten lime slice on the ledge behind me by the stage. We moved seats and pointed it out to the server. When we left, she still hadn t cleaned it up. Weird to say but the ceiling is cleaner than the floor and it s impossible to get that high to clean it that says something. Each table had copious amounts of crumbs, the benches are sticky and the chair across from us had hair hanging off of it. Service was fine and the food was decent but this place really could benefit from a deep clean, makes me hesitant to know what the kitchen looks like. Won t be back unfortunately due to the sheer lack of cleanliness
The server was really great about trying to accommodate my allergies, very appreciated!
Nice pub.
Just popped in for drinks. It was a nice refreshing location.
Decent food and good craft beer.
Unfortunately I have to give it ZERO stars. Our group of six waited over 30 minutes and was not served AT ALL. We left. I can understand if the place was swamped (it wasn t). At the very least some one could have come and said something, anything and we would have understood. I think we are reasonable people. But to ignore us totally was utterly unacceptable.
Home of the $2 Onion Ring!! (Oh, on my recent visit, the rings where no longer on the menu ) I love this bar. Friendly staff, nice patio and apparently the greatest onion rings in Ottawa!! ($9 x 1.13 x 1.15) / 5.5 = ~$2
Lovely patio set up...delicious apps!! Try the perogies!...on a skillet with cheeeeeese
Very sad about the food was cold ask for gravy twice both cold the had dessert was cold the peaple were friendly but food 0 out 10 deep fried banana cheese cake cold how??? Its deep fried oh my coffee you guest it cold twice
Solid daily specials with 1000 island beer
Great patio. I ordered off the summer menu, just ask about the portion size coz what I ordered wasnt quite enough for a meal. By bad though.
Verry disappointing the closing time is 1:00 am but they close at 12:29
Great location, nice staff and delicious food.
Good food
Spectacular, attentive service, great ambiance and atmosphere, but the food is below mediocre. Its been developed the suggest I ordered a medium rare hamburger and got something that was cooked extremely well done. The food presentation was awful, and while I understand nobody goes to the barley mow for the food, they certainly lowered the bar when I last visited.
We went on a Thursday evening for the $5 appetizers. Everything was delicious. Service was friendly but because it was so busy, the service was a little slow. Our server was doing his best so he deserves 6/5 stars for the service. Food
Great fish n Chips there!
Classic pub fare. Always a consistently good experience. Good variety of food and decent portions. Great service.
Would have loved to dine in and eat there last night but service was extremely slow. We were there for 30 minutes and got kids drinks hadn t ordered food. Decided to leave and go elsewhere as there was only 1 waitress working on a fairly busy Sunday evening. 2 other tables walked out due to lack of service 1 of which ended up going to Boston pizza with us.
Good place to eat
Food was good, the service was a bit too slow. Appetizers & main came together at the same time which was not convenient!
Delicious food and friendly staff I highly recommend
We go as a group once a week. The service was never really great but its getting worse each time. Be prepared to wait a long time for drink and food. Today it was over an hour to get some wings. Last time almost an hour. This is a good location for our group to meet but well be looking for another place. Weve given them too many chances and theres always some excuse for the poor service.
Great Food, Great Service! Solid choice for quality pub fare
We went on a Sunday because kids eat free. Normally we switch it up every week so we have an idea of what works well with kids. First off the selection of food is limited. I guess the idea of this place is more for drinking then food. Secondly the service was dead slow. Only one server was serving the whole place, including the bar. We arent exactly impatient, but my family probably waited an extra 20 min because of slow service. Might have been a no show on servers, not sure, first time. The prices were definitely more over the average family place. It ended up being around the same price even when 2 kids who ate free because of the price difference. So really didnt save for kids eating free. I dont like giving bad reviews, but our first impressions werent the best.
Perogies were filling, had some to take home for midnight snack. Service was new but welcoming and on spot. Id go back for food and drink soon. Thank you.
Nice Lovely Little Place (for lunch) I had the privilege of having lunch with my colleagues last Wed ( Sep 13) and the overall food and service exceeded my expectations. I am sure my co-workers felt the same way. Food was great especially the Wednesday Deal (sandwich platter and glass of beer for 25). I know it is still pricey but so is everywhere. Décor outdoor and indoor is quite nice. The best part is the service. We were taken care by this amazing young waitress who made sure we were satisfied with our needs. For myself Ill probably want to return back. Thank you.
We went on a Saturday morning when it first opened at 10 AM. We had approximately ten 13 year old boys and about 10 parents. We had just come from a hockey game and the kids were starving. When we got there we were the only ones in the restaurant, with only 1 person working the drinks, the cash, taking the orders as well as serving the food. Not to mention he had just started working there. They were clearly flustered. We waited an hour and a half for our food. And that was just for the adults. The server hadn t even taken the order for the boys who were surprisingly patient. We had no idea he hadn t asked the boys yet. One of the parents of the boys decided to go and take the order on behalf of the server. Even when all the meals were done for the adults, four of the boys still had not received their meals. This was 2 hours later. The food was terrible, the server had his thumb touching my eggs when he served me my plate. The waffles did not seem fresh. The orange juice had so much ice it was like I was drinking water. I won t recommend.
Amazing spot! I went on a whim after a long shift and it was exactly what I needed. All the servers and bartenders were lovely, and it was nice being in an environment where you could tell everyone cared about what they were doing. Had the Cajun dusted wings and Ill DEFINITELY be going back for them. The house beer took me by surprise too! I didnt expect it to be as good as it was, since Im used to house beers being mediocre. They had a great selection of them and they actually taste great! Overall, really good experience.
Ot as good as the one on Bank St. but its still quite solid. Had the fish and chips, wasnt bad. They could do to keep a few different kins of stouts though.
Poor value for the money spent. Took my wife and kid for dinner and the kid left hungry because the two sliders he ordered had nothing on them, there was barely one kids mouthful of meat on either of his sliders so he basically ate a tiny $10 basket of French fries and some buns for dinner. We had to feed him when we got home again. Wife ordered fish and chips, said they were ok. Small portion for the price paid again. I ordered the Malaysian chicken, taste was good but it was like a soup. The sauce was the consistency of broth and the bowl was full of this broth, I had to go hunting for the ingredient In the soup. Vegetables were somewhat uncooked and small amount of chicken for the price. We both ordered a drink, myself a large beer which was actually just a pint for nearly $9 not sure what the smaller options would have been, shot glasses? Wife ordered a glass of wine for $11 it was a small glass. Server was friendly and food came in a reasonable amount of time, not quickly though, we were one of only a few tables. Overall can t say I m impressed, had been to this location when it first opened for many years after that and it was always great. Now I m not sure I would go back. Kid-friendliness: My kid left hungry because all he ate was bread and French fries, the two sliders he had had nearly no meat on them just two buns with about 1/8 of a regular patty of meat, not even a mouthful.
Theres a reason this place is empty for breakfast... yuck. Must be better later in the day.
I remember going there for new year celebration, there was lot of place at the bar and bar tender had a lot of time but never asked us what we needed for the drinks. We sat there for 30 min and he was free for more than 15 min. Whole if the restaurant was packed with light coloured people and we were only two brown coloured people in the whole crowd. And the bar tender kept looking at us with a stink eye and served at least 10 people of arrived after us. He went to them right away while we were sitting right in front of him. Lastly I just called him to please serve us at least a drink. For the first time I felt discriminated here in Ottawa. Can never forget that night doesn t matter how much time passes away. Never been there after that day and never ever will.
No Guiness on tap but has Guiness signage all throughout the pub. Makes sense.
Reliable, consistently delicious, very friendly staff
Food was okay but the price is high compared to the amount of food. Appreciate the military discount on meals though.
Had a great Berger and 2 beers.
The food was good all 4 of us enjoyed our meals the new menu added some interesting choices. The service was good and attentive.
Awesome service.. calamari was overcooked but very tasty.. the salad was a nice idea, enjoyed it overall..
Food was good. Little slow service but may be due to shortage of staff. Will go again. Server was kind and helpful attitude.
Great wings.
It was a good time and experienced good service on my visit.
Im going to give this 5 stars even though the heat wasnt working when we went. We put sweaters on, grabbed a couple fleece blankets from the cars and enjoyed my sisters birthday dinner out for the first time in a few years. Our server was fabulous and the food was great too!
Fantastic wings and friendly staff will eat again.
The place requires improvements: 1. Bad smell 2. Food - old oil was used for fries, they were overdone 3. Waitress was cleaning the table with her hand, no wipes
Support local businesse!
Great service and yummy beef dip with fresh fries! Yumm! Oh! And my waitress was a sweetie pie and gave me all the dips. I love dip and she was super nice about it. :)
Good food choices, friendly service, very nice place, cute patio
Lovely staff
*Thank you for your explanation. I am pretty sure the drink I got that day wasn t a double. It was a small glass and I could tell the alcohol in it wasn t doubled. There was probably some mistake, but I appreciate your patience. I went on a Tuesday for Mow Size your Bar Rail for a TOONIE. Never tried it before. But when I checked out, the bill was $6.xx. Very strange. I thought toonie means $2. I even googled it. The server was nice so the stars go to the service.
Thanks for setting up our reservation Brian! The service and food was great!
Nice pub, very nice amber beers.
Great food at a great price.
I got a skip order...I got the panko zucchini. The dip that comes with it was sour...I was not sure at first...than all of a sudden after eating 4 of them, I felt a gross coating in my mouth like sour milk. I was up all night sick. Last time I order from there... Check dates...
Great service... great food. Love the 1000 Islands Brown Ale.
Tasty pub grub, a bit pricey. Lots of screens for the game.
After moving our stuff into our new place here in Ottawa we decided to grab something to eat. We tried this place and it didnt disappoint. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
Good vibes and good food.
Food was good, friendly staff.
Food was incredible, 10 outta 10. Service needed some work. Server had to ask what I ordered a couple times, asked me twice what beer I ordered and forgot a side of gravy until I was almost done my fries. Not sure if this is one of those places that dont believe in letting servers write down the orders but make sure your people have the right tools for the job. Still, food was probably some of the best Ive had in Ottawa, worth a second visit for sure.
Outdoor patio was great, good service and tasty food options
Quite a quiet place to be able to have a few drinks and some food after a hard week of work
So much went wrong. The service was slow. They got the order wrong. The food took forever to come. Some of it was uncooked. It was a really not a great experience. The manager reduced our bill which was nice. Thats why 2* instead of 1*.
I went with my family for dinner. Our server was friendly but made a mistake. I ordered wings & fries, cajun dusted, but when I got them, they were sauced with what tasted like honey garlic. My bigger issue was with the food. Most of the wings had broken bones, showing that their supplier is cheap and probably pumps the chicken with hormones to grow them quickly (I usually only had broken wings when I used to buy frozen wings from the grocery store). On the other hand, the fries were great (well salted & crispy), and the garlic ranch was as good as or better than the garlic dill from St. Louis Bar & Grill. The other people I was with ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich and complained of over seasoning causing a grainy texture and terrible aftertaste.
Great food and excellent service. This place has a nice atmosphere for a casual dinner.
Worst dining experience ever. Came in for lunch, only few tables, not busy at all. Waited 45 minutes for the food to come for 2 adults and 1 kid for the table. The chicken wings was dry and cold, the pita is all dried up, the salad was not fresh. All the foods were cold when send to the table. After sitting almost an hour waiting for the food to come, if it s delicious, no complaints at all. But the food was served cold and dry, it feels super disappointed!!
The Barley Mow is a Barrhaven institution. Its a great place for good drinks and great food. They have an excellent daily special menu. Definitely come for Thirsty Thursday and their $5 drink and food specials. My family loves coming on the weekend for their Brunch offerings, its affordable and filling and best of all, kids eat free on Sunday!
Why wait 50 min to get a burger that looks like this and it is not good! For $21+tx+service so $27, is the ambience worth it! Not really!
Love their new Thursday promotion, $5 wings and other apps, drinks too.
Ridiculous wait for food. Took an hour to get food and it was not a busy night. Very disappointing
Try the lagavulin, you wont be disappointed. The fish and chips were pretty darn fine too.
Went in on Saturday night around 730pm. Terrible service. Server took out drink/food order, dropped off both our appetizer and our mains at the same time, then we never saw her again. Appetizer (perogies) were delicious. My GF seemed to enjoy her wrap, but I made the terrible decision to order the stew. I wouldnt feed that to an animal. The potatoes were unseasoned and had big chunks of stale crunchy mashed potatoes in it. The garlic bread was burned. The beef was almost entirely chunks of fat/gristle. Our server never once came to check on us, just brought us our bill (which we hadnt even asked for yet) and didnt say anything about my nearly untouched food. She just seemed to be watching TV/watching the live band instead of actually doing her job. Completely unacceptable
happy hour is food average
great pub woth great customer service. 1000 Island brews are delicious
Always quiet, and relaxing in here, staff is always lovely to talk to and food is great
Fine food and good service
Awesome service!
Great place for a cold beer and awesome staff
Great staff, not a fan of the beer selection. Big guinness draft signs in the restaurant -no Guiness draft sold. The stout they have is very hoppy, not so stouty.
Good servings. Tasty. Left feeling stuffed. No room for dessert. Very clean.
Bring back Apple Cinnamon Beer ! Dessert in Beer form !
These guys have been good to me. Good food. Great service. Support local!
New menu is great - have been enjoying it through takeout during Covid.
Good service
Great service and great meal! Well packaged and hot. Super tasty will order again!!! Thanks so much Barley Now!!!
The staff, service and good is always top notch. During Covid they have been fantastic with take out meals and when open its such a great atmosphere. Truly love the Barley Mow.
Great, friendly customer service that makes everyone feel like a regular. Fantastically fresh calamari, perfect perogies
Service was great, staff were friendly... Obviously during these times, operations are limited and the ambience is not the same... But we are getting there.
Ordered fish and chips (amazing fish and tartar sauce!!) for my wife and I, while we got chicken fingers for the kids. There was all kinds of transferring of food... We ALL enjoyed ALL the food. Plus, whoever took my order threw in a treat for all of us... Definitely above and beyond... And very much appreciated on a very dull and dreary day!
Yummy food, good service, patio is a little noisy because of traffic on Greenbank but would come here again.
The fried potatoes were so dry and bland. Not enough seasoning. Everything else was great. The service was tremendous. This place is one of the few in Ottawa that, in my opinion, offer great value.
Friendly service and great food and drinks
Great service, friendly staff, 5 star beers 5 star food !
Not awesome. Service was a little slow. Beer (and we tried a few) was either out of had a stale taste. The pulled pork tacos tasted 4 star worthy but the overall experience was 2 or 3 stars. I wouldnt choose the Barley Mow but wouldnt avoid if my friends really wanted to go. I would suggest other destinations but would go if I couldnt convince them otherwise.
Great Blackened Chicken Burger!
Good food big portions.
Very friendly. Delicious food at a reasonable price.
Missed out on the pretzel bun because of distribution issues but overall the food was definitely good.
Fast service, excellent customer service. Food was not great and chicken was under cooked. They did thier best to justify the issue, in the end I wasnt charged. Great customer service, just not a great experience.
Top notch service. Decent pub food and prices. I bought a mesh back
Been there a few times this summer and we really like their nachos, but I felt I had to say something about the take out nachos. Had two friends over so I called, ordered family size. Felt so sorry for my husband who picked up and paid almost $25 for this very small box. I called to check, thought it was a mistake for sure, but no, was told only that size. It was so embarrassing, friends saying you guys go ahead, not really hungry, then my husband not eating. Seriously was unbelievable, and Im sure our friends will never order nachos from Barley Mow, and neither will we. What a rip off
GOOD, fresh food, service a Little bit long, but the food are tasty.
I had fond memories of being on a date with my husband here, pre-pandemic times. Recently (finally) visited family, and got take out. Everything was mostly thumbs up, but my main entrée was missing a few items. I did end up calling about it, and the server was sincere and supportive. It was mentioned to the manager, who ended up going above and beyond. For me. It may be a little while before I return, but this Barley Mow on Greenbank road, has my loyalty. I will be back, and I look forward to it. p.s. I joined their group on FB, and noticed a post about being short-staffed. Darn COVID and its ripple effects.
The chicken fingers are awesome I always get them!
Very nice place to eat, good food, great waitress. They were short staffed in the kitchen, but still did a fantastic job
Not impressed with the food at all. Had chicken tacos and the chicken was very dry and overcooked and the flour tortilla was mushy. Not enjoyable
Reed! You saved my day, I want some food and a drink with my friend and you got the kitchen to re open after 2pm to serve us. Your the best!
Service was great ! Wings were ok
Six patrons in the whole restaurant and two order food. One of them orders a hamburger....big mistake. I cannot believe that you could screw up a hamburger, its not like you were too busy. It was the driest burnt lump of dirt, I wouldnt feed that to a racoon. This place for me is over. Best of luck.
Last night around 6:30 we went in for a drink and dinner. Awesome job team!! The food was fast fresh and so good!! What set this apart was the amazing service we received from our server. She went above and beyond to provide a great experience. She even checked the ingredient lists for my friend with diabetes. Above and beyond service and it was so refreshing. Im sad I didnt get her name. Thanks for a great night out!
Came here tonight (Thursday) for their 1 cent wings and they did not disappoint! We were expecting the wings to be small and have very little meat but they were actually decent size and came with a side of fries and this delicious light creamy dill sauce. We arrived at 7:45 for a seat of 5 and luckily got the last large table. The special starts at 8pm so if you want to get a spot make sure to go ahead of time as they fill up quick! The service was amazing, we had Penny as our waitress and she was beyond nice and attentive.
Wow, I can not believe how expensive zucchini has become. On Nov 20, 2021, I ordered fried zucchini for takeout. Six scrawny pieces cost $14.00 before taxes, and the product was, at best, okay. Certainly not worth the cost.
Excellent service varied choice on their menu and choice of different beers and desserts.
Stopped in for a drink with some friends. The place has a great atmosphere and I enjoyed my drink
Went here for lunch after 18 holes at Cedar Hill. Waitress was very friendly and attentive, had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich which was pretty good but most importantly the beer was nice and cold!
The quality of food was very poor for the price charged. I don t think I would go there again!
For the longest time this place had gone downhill... and we wouldnt go back... we went there 2 weeks ago because a friend wanted us to meet there... The service was good but wow... the food was fantastic... blew us away how good it was. Went 2 days ago and was just as good as 2 weeks earlier... Will make it a regular place for dinner.
Cool pub with their own microbrewery. Food was good and service was quick. Good to watch Sunday football
Great food friendly staff..Brendan was the best server I have had in a long time..great job..i give him a big high five for doing a AWESOME JOB..
Katy and Gregg made me feel at home. I know I dont live in Barrhaven anymore. Thank you for genuinely welcoming me. Be safe . Fred Gillis
Trying to support a Local Pubs during Covid @ Curb Side Lunch! 5 star takeout, Delicious food (Try the Cattle Dunk) and Tall Cans of 1000 Island Craft Beer
Delicious food, wonderful drinks, great service! We had a great time. Our server and the hostess were especially wonderful. Thank you for an especially lovely night out, especially during these times!
Best fish & chips!! Friendly staff.
Small town feeling bar with pretty good customer service,
Good food, plenty of room between tables for social distancing
Very well organized during COVID. Nice selection of beers on tap and great pub food. Staff is friendly, welcoming and respectful of COVID measures. Conveniently located in Barrhavens core and close to all big stores. Perfect for a pit stop after a busy day of shipping.
