This Burger King location cant keep there dinning room clean and slow service and the building needs updating the wheelchair accessible dont work and the Canadian food agency has been in to check up on Burger King and the sharama next door

Was there yesterday evening and ordered a whopper with cheese , got the whopper without cheese , big blob of onion rind in it and meat tasted over cooked or not fresh

I just drove 20 minutes to pick up a whopper from the Burger King on West Hunt club Rd. When I got halfway through the burger, I found 2 large strands of black hair . It was so disgusting!! I would never go back to this location. Such a turn off.

Went into order and the lady at the cash ask what we would like and we gave our order. She walked away half way thru ordering and had someone else take our order. I bought a kid meal from here and burger for me. 1 hour of after eating me and my daughter started having pain in stomach. My daughter vomited and I got diarrhea. Still having pain both of us. They gave us a rotten or too old meat. I will report it to the health and safety department Ottawa

Awful is the only word to describe the food and the overall experience. I very rarely write negative reviews, but this has been bothering me and I thought something should be said. Hopefully, management reads the reviews. I had not had a Whopper (with cheese) in years and was looking forward to what I remebered to be one of the best fast-food burgers going... The young lady that helped me was nice, but after a moment was distracted by a drive-thru order and a young man took over. He was very nice as well, but the shirt he was wearing was so completely covered in grease and food stains, it looked like hed worn it to work everyday for a week. Not a great look. After receiving my meal, I went to look for a reasonably clean table to eat at. Only one table was occupied by another customer so I was optimistic, but it turned out that all of the other tables had food or drink spilled on them, so I chose the cleanest one. As soon as I picked up my burger and bit into it (after re-arranging the toppings to avoid them having fall out the sides), I realized that the bottom bun and burger patty had been microwaved and the top bun had not. The top bun was stale and the whole thing tasted a little off. I was so thoroughly disappointed. Ive looked at other reviews for this location and some people seem to have had a great experience, so maybe I went on an off day (Sunday afternoon). Perhaps Ill try another location and have better luck.

Order was wrong. When I went back for a free meal sent y the owner. I was hassled by the staff as if it was a neusence. They then screwed up that order.

I haven t had a whopper in years. One of the best whoppers I ve ever had. It was fresh and succulent.

The visit was a bit of a mess from the moment we walked in to the time we left. First there was no one in sight for at least 10 minutes. Then we ordered and were told that they had to make more onion rings and said they would bring them out to us when ready. I was almost done my chicken sandwich, still no rings. My husband went to go see what was going on and the guy at the front replied sorry we forgot. In my opinion, there are not enough staff members and not properly trained. There seem to be some making the food. I only other person o saw was saw one very unpleasant girl working the drive though. She moved slowly and didn t look to see if the one cashier needed help. I don t think he was experienced and lacked training. He was however, the only person at Burger King that smiled. I will not be returning.

After a couple of visits for the whopper burgers, I have no complaints; its just okay.

Normally I dont have a problem with this location, but it seems to be going downhill. The drive thru seems to be taking longer, the standard drink size is 1/3 smaller now, and apparently now this is a poutine.

Ownership needs to get this location under control! I spent 15 minutes in the drive-through for a breakfast combo meal and I was the only car. Although I was patient Other customers went in the grass to get around me because they were sick of waiting. After finally getting my food after about 16 minutes the food was wrong anyway??? Currently at Burger King #11885 located at 527 W. Hunt Club Rd. From placing my order to receiving it has been a great and rapid process. My server Isabelle was fantastic and I watched the manager being truly hands on and assisting in the care and upkeep of the premises looked like he was training and what an awesome thing to witness as he wasn t simply dictating what needed to be done, but actually took the mop in hand and showed by doing it well done good sir. I m writing this review from this miserable restaurant. I ordered through the app and selected Dine In , which means they will call your name when your dinner is ready. No one bothered calling and my dinner got cold when I finally decided to go up to the counter and ask. Either Burger King is lying in the app about them calling your name or the staff doesn t give it a peanut about customer experience. Secondly, there s one single person at the front counter, which means if someone orders a shake then no one will be around to take your order, and the fountain drinks machine is hidden behind the counter, rendering the free refill experience and extremely painful one that involves a lot of waiting in line. Finally, the meal itself, they gave me two long burgers instead of one (original) chicken and one long burger, I didn t even bother disputing with them because there s only ONE person at the counter and there are many customers lined up. Also, no ketchup was put on the bag, and again the ketchup (and everything else like straws, napkins etc) are hidden behind the counter so you have to go and wait endlessly in line to get a packed of ketchup. Harvey s is so much superior to Burger King. This place is cheap on all dimensions.

Honestly Ive always overlooked the quality or lack of over the years as the price is hard to beat. But the last few times weve gotten cold food... Last time had a nugget and a burger missing on top of the cold food. Sadly The King is only King by name nowadays and its time to find a new cheap burger place.

Wow! Is all I can say, and not in a positive way. My family and I attempted to use the drive through, but the guy on the intercome was rushing us even though there was no one behind us, so we decided to go in to order. We were greeted by a miserable cashier with absolutely 0 personality or customer service. We get our food, and the burgers are cold and the mozzarella sticks were not cooked. The manager, who is equally miserable, tells us our food is fully cooked and doesnt offer an apology, refund or replacement. Every one else who had ordered, were also complaining about their meals. I highly recommend someone from Corporate to come and do a visit of this location and teach the staff costumer service and proper food prep. Will never return.

When I arrived at the Burger King, the attendant came on the microphone in the drive thru, was very rude and stated you are going to have to wait which I was fine with not realizing how long I was going to have to wait for. I waited over 6 minutes just for my order to be taken there was 3 cars behind me so I couldn t even reverse out of the drive thru if I wanted to. Once I ordered I waited at the window for another 5 minutes. No apology, no nothing. Would not recommend. Would provide a 0 star if I was able to.

Very nice and good quality food but the venue is incredibly dirty.

Been coming here for years as it is in the neighborhood. I was getting great service from a guy named Moses, he had some of the best service ever. Years go by now, no offense but the guy (Hugh) is just not cut out for service. I have been routinely let down by having him serve me or anyone i know. Who then opted to boycott BK because of that. After combing through the reviews i think i see a running trend. Was getting let down but now with the new Store Manager Sammi, hes really taking the time to train people and I have faith in this place again! Ive gotten great service multiple times going recently! Especially today! Keep up the good work!

Was in today. Food was ok, service was excellent, but the ladies bathroom was NASTY! I feel bad for the female employees in that place! It smells like a summer camp outhouse. Ew. I used the small stall - the lock was barely functional and hanging on for dear life. I finished and went to wash my hands. The wheelchair stall was wide open and you could see a massive pile of wet tp inside. Upon closer inspection, there were bugs crawling around on it. I didnt look close enough to see what kind they were, nor did I feel like going back in there afterwards with my phone to take a pic. I never felt so disgusting coming out of a bathroom in my life!

My kids and I come to this BK on Wednesday afternoon to get whopper meals. The best part is when we roll up and Hugh takes our order. He is always awesome and says everything exactly the same as the last time, its uncanny. The same intonations, the same tempo, the same bored but methodically precise sound, and the same follow up questions. It could be a recording and the kids and I love it, its become a game of sorts. The first question as we roll up to the drive thru, I wonder if Hugh is here? - as soon as the the first word is done my kids give a cheer, Welcome to Burger King, can I take your order please? This is Hugh speaking. followed by perfunctory is that all? as they expertly repeat our order back to us... Anyways, the food is always piping hot, and Hugh is always at the window, and our exchange is always the same. Some day I am sure Hugh wont be here anymore and my exchange will be deeply saddened, but somebody will have gotten an awesome employee. Thanks Hugh for being the best part of our meal.

BAD service this time around (May 24, 2023). Look, I fully realize that fast food places have trouble finding staff, period, (never mind really good staff), I know theyre frequently understaffed, so Im prepared to wait, but it really wilts my Whopper when I see people who ordered a good 10 minutes AFTER me get their food BEFORE I do. Waited 20 minutes for my order, and it was by no means a specialty order (it was 2 Whoppers for goodness sake; think BK should be pretty used to cranking those out by now). In the end, they wound up putting two of the what appeared to be six or so Whoppers that I saw had been sitting behind the counter ready to go for the past 10 minutes into my take-out bag and I was gone. Will probly go back because I DO like the burgers and because, what are the chances that the service could possibly be this bad on two consecutive visits?? Definitely did not get it my way on this visit.

I love the food and the staff. but heres the drink machine, probably connected to the water supply. it is impossible to drink drinks, they have a strong taste of chlorine.

This Burger King is like any other for the most part. However, there is a man named Hugh that works the drive thru and sounds like he s doing a Squidward impression. For that reason, this is likely the best Burger King in Ontario.

They served me a Whopper jr that was sitting there for 20min, they just put it in the microwave it was disgusting, they even admitted!!!

Only person in drive thru. Placed order, no confirmation just a okay drive up. Ordered whopper combo and 2jr whoppers. They took my debit payment, out the fries in the bag and I waited.... And waited.... And waited. 7mins 55 seconds later cars were lined up behind me and my fries were still sitting in the bag which was open and not u der a heat lamp even. The cashier finally tossed the whopper into the bag with the whopper juniors. Fries were cold when I got home, not just tepid but cold. Given the number of burger kings in Ottawa, Id steadfastly avoid this one - at least during the day during the week.

After visiting again , I m updating my review . They hired new young people and they do great work . This review is from 6 months ago : I ordered a double whopper and they gave me a regular whopper . The attendant (male) made me repeat the order 5 times and they still got it wrong . Then I got my poutine and it had a hair in it

Clearly the staff do not speak English as a first language which is fine except I had to repeat my order at the drive thru four times (2 breakfast croissant sandwiches) before the lady just asked someone else to take the order. The food was alright and the service was quick after getting past that hurdle. I will be back for the breakfast croissant.

Depending on whose working, some give off the not paid enough to care vibe. Which is fair I suppose. Others are friendly. They rarely mess up your order and they construct burgers a heck of a lot better and provide more value than the other famous burger place with the arches. On my most recent visit it seems like there was an uptick in improvement so I think theyre moving in the right direction.

Came in with my family for lunch during a rain storm. When we got in line a lady behind the counter glared at us made a huffing noise and shook her head. We got in line behind a group of people being rudely handed their orders and after about a 5 minute wait the lady who glared at us came to the counter and said I hope you dont think you are ordering food, we arent taking any more orders inside she then asked us what we were even thinking coming in. I should add at this point that it was lunch time on a Wednesday, the store was marked open and there were about a dozen people inside eating and picking up food. The lady the walked around the counter told us to get out and the. Walked to the front door and did something. We were stunned at this point and started walking towards the entrance to leave and she yelled at us that we cant use that exit because she juat locked it and made us use the side exit farthest from where we had parked making us walk all the way around the building in the pouring rain. This was beyond poor service and we were given no explanation of why we were being kicked out when others were recieving food.

Burger reheated. I got sick for a day. I should have returned the burger when I noticed i was reheated. My bad and I paid for it.

Here the Whoppers are very tasty , the are fresh, the texture of the hamburger is very good, the cooking is perfect, the amount of sauces used enhances the taste of the burger instead of drowning it. These guys always get my order wrong. Its not even like good wrong, or something minor like fries instead of rings. They usually forget an entire meal out of a two meal order. Its just fast food, nothing too spectacular to be wasting your money on. Its also very hard to comprehend the drive thru workers and double check they understand what youre saying.

Extremely slow. Waited 15 minutes for my order. An UberEats driver complained to the staff that this particular restaurant is always slow. Food was sitting in the heated compartment just sitting there and the employees weren t giving the orders out.

The worker on cash at the front was extremely slow and there were literally only 5 people placing orders. I can see that staffing is a problem. I love Whoppers and the burger was ok but the service at this location I would not go back.

The food was ok, but if you use debit or credit cards, be aware that the machine will put in more than one number when you press it. My card is locked now because of that. When I brought it up to them, they didnt care and acted like they didnt know what I was talking about.

One of the most filthy and disgusting fast food restrooms ive ever seen. Manager said it was clean in the morning when he checked it. What i saw was months of neglect. He had nothing to say when i showed him. I didnt order anything.... if they cant clean a restroom daily i dont want to try the kitchen.

Atmosphere feels dated.

Food was awesome especially the Wiper Burger, best French fries without any doubt, Ring Onion very delicious and tasty. Very quick service and very cooperative staff. My notice is that they should focus and concentrate more on cleaning the tables, windows and Bathrooms.

Dirty, dirty and even more dirty. Tables, chairs, floors, even the overflowing garbage handle was disgustingly sticky. I went to the smelly washroom to wash and the blower barley moves air. I couldnt wait to get into my car and sanitize. If the dining area was this bad; Im glad I didnt see into the kitchen. Its sure obvious this location has given up on COVID cleaning, or ANY cleaning. I wont be visiting this location anymore. Too bad, it was convenient.

The worst experience today TRYING to order lunch IN the restaurant ! Beyond disorganized - many people in the lineup just waiting ..wondering what s going on guy at cash was overwhelmed .. nothing moving - no food flying off the shelves.. not sure the problem but will never walk in again. We walked out without ordering a Dang thing !! . wasn t sure if the drive thru had these issues but we drove down Merivale to the Clyde location BK and got serve right away !! If I wasn t craving a Whopper & apple pie for my Wednesday special treat.. I wouldn t give that company a penny of my money for the frustrations and total waste of my lunch time !!! Shame

First they had a burger that was not available on the menu and then they forgot an extra medium fries which I paid for.

I purchased a promotion that was advertised, I clicked on the promotion in the app and clicked add to order, food came to my door with no promotion and support tells me I m supposed to request it, how is clicking add to order on a promotion not enough? What am I supposed to do? Call the restaurant? Ridiculous and customer support was very unhelpful and the establishment would not answer the phone for hours and I still haven t got to speak to them, I just want my promotional code I was promised to receive with every meal, no where did it say I need to request it, it said it was included in every meal

Fantastic very very good burgers

Not a huge fan of Burger King, especially after they shrinkflated my nuggets! The whopper was never my burger, I just dont like it, but the chicken.... Burger King nuggets are soooooo easy to shovel into my nugget hole! The service here is average, and Burger Kings prices are mostly in line with other fast food places. I do like the retro feel Burger King still has, they arent a King café or anything like that, thankfully. Eat nuggets, skip the whopper.
