The restaurant atmosphere is great, and the ingredients are fresh! Our server, Jannis, was very attentive and made sure we had a good experience. I highly recommend this place!

Not that great, food quality was just ok for the price point, small portions, service was unremarkable and no one comes to refill broth. Also I ve never been to a hotpot place that uses water to refill broth, I expected better for the price. Overall disappointing. I would rather just go to happy lamb next door.

I came to the store at half past one in the afternoon. There was an empty table in the store at that time, and other people eating lunch were almost finished. I asked the waiter if I could take the empty seat. She rolled her eyes at me and said that the spot was already reserved, and then left me alone. I awkwardly ran after her and asked if I could wait until everyone else finished. She rolled her eyes impatiently and told me that all the seats had been reserved, and people with reservations would come even after eating. What he said was that he told me not to eat here. So I could only order the ingredients to take away. I waited at the door for about 20 minutes before she brought the packed ingredients. By this time, almost all the people eating in the restaurant had left, leaving five or six tables free. She told me that no one came to the supposedly reserved table. I dont understand why she would lie and not let me eat hotpot in this restaurant. She also told me in an exaggerated way that the last time you came here to eat so much, so many pig brains, I remembered you very clearly! The last time I ate hot pot in this restaurant, I spent more than 100 dollars and met her as a waiter. When I politely asked her for help, she looked like she didnt want to pay attention to anyone, frowned, and shouted to me from a distance to ask what I wanted. At the same time, I saw that when she served blacks and whites, she almost always knelt down and lowered her posture and body to communicate with them softly. This makes me very confused. Does she only despise her fellow Chinese? The hot pot is good, otherwise I wouldnt come here a second time, but the waiters outrageous behavior made me never ask for trouble and come a third time.

Ive been here many times and absolutely love it. Its an authentic Chongqing hot pot experience. The variety of dishes is impressive, the service is excellent, and the fruit is very sweet. The waitress, Jannis, is super friendly and helpful. Ill definitely come back with my friends!

Be ware the sauces are not free. They charge you $7.50 per person, without notifying. Edit: Thank you for clarifying, it was for 3 persons, but the issue is not just the charge itself it s that it wasn t communicated beforehand. Many customers, including myself, would appreciate being informed about extra charges upfront, especially for something as sauces. Transparency goes a long way in building trust. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

Service is great and food is fresh. They have lunch special for $25.99, individual pot, selection of meat and veggies, enough meat and veggies for one person.

Made a reservation for a surprise birthday party for my wife. It was our first time here and we had a really great time. It was with a group of 10 and we had a great time. Food was good. Now that Ive been I know a bit more whats going on. With such a big group its best to make a large order right off the bat, as they were very busy and it wasnt always easy to get them to come back to the table to take orders for more food. But still a very enjoyable experience. The kicker was that at the end they gave my wife a package with a figurine and water infuser. Thanks for everything!

Food is of great quality and absolutely delicious. Its really affordable for the quantity. The lamb is halal for my muslim peeps! I really really really have to thank Jennis and Rabbit for their excellent service. They are so friendly. My friend mentioned it was my birthday and Jennis brought a gift bag full of candies and a chinese figurine! I was so happy and this will be a very fond memory. Jennis was so welcoming and helped me charge my phone when I arrived, which totally saved my night. Thank you so much guys.

Super friendly and informative staff with Jerry and Jannis (apologies for mispelling I cannot remember how they spelt their names!) guiding us through our first time eating here. They recommended coming after 8 PM for incredible happy hour prices and thoroughly walked us through the ordering process and their recommendations for our first time as a couple with dietary restrictions. Went for our 2 year anniversary and was very happy with the experience and prices after 8 PM as a couple trying to have a fun experience on a budget. Dietary restrictions: My partner is allergic to seafood and nuts and they were super accommodating and informative about what items were not safe for him!

Best restaurant in Ottawa! Awesome for dating, friends gathering or group lunch. Jerry was very nice and friendly, often came checking up the needs.

Compared to the branches in the SF Bay Area, this one is really inferior. The snack table is basically empty, and nothing is added when it is gone. The quality of the meat is not as good as the branches in the Bay Area.

The place is so small. The table and the chair (not the stool) is too close to one another, its very inconvenient. Food expensive, We pay 150 in total. Not enjoying the food and the atmosphere

When we first got in we werent given too much detail how the procedure went when it came to ordering. Luckily, another server named Jerry was more than helpful and was willing to ensure that our services were met. My family and I have found a new favorite restaurant and will be here more frequent. Its very disappointing and saddening when the service is poor. Being served without chopsticks and a spoon? Its as if they dont want us to eat. And without a bowl, how are we supposed to eat? I will never visit this restaurant again.

Disappointing place, food was ok, we werent impressed but it wasnt horrible! The service was terrible, we asked for water, and they didnt bring it to us, we had to look for the waiter again for the water and they looked at us with an impatient face, afterwards, even though it closes at 10:00 p.m., they start kicking you out earlier because they want to close right and go! We ate half and left the rest because they were about to kick us out!

Came here with some friends for the first time and loved everything!! Had the lamb which was halal (bonus) with the mildly spicy broth as well as the ramen. We followed the the recipes for the perfect dipping sauce, and had the best experience!! The staff was very nice and helpful with us and guided us the whole way. MIN MICHELLE is our waiter This hot pot restaurant is really unforgettable! First of all, the store environment is warm and the decoration style is unique, which makes people feel very comfortable. The ingredients are fresh and diverse, with a wide variety, and you can feel the high quality of the ingredients in every bite. The soup base is rich in variety and has unique taste. Whether it is the classic spicy hotpot or the light mushroom hotpot, they are all amazing. In terms of service, the clerks are warm and thoughtful, always smiling and carefully explaining the dishes and recommending combinations to the guests. The price is also very reasonable and the price-performance ratio is extremely high. I especially like their self-service sauce area, which can be prepared according to personal taste, which adds a lot of fun.

I dined here with a group of friends and we thought they had tasty broths and a good selection of ingredients at a fair price. However, the restaurant s cleanliness was disappointing sticky floors, a messy sauce station, and untidy tables and bathrooms. If they improve their cleanliness, it would greatly enhance the overall experience.

We ordered spicy hot pot and pork belly chicken, which were very delicious. MIN provided us with ten star quality service and we will definitely come back here again.
