We go here often and ordered this before but tonight we Ordered the brie appetizer it came with cold bread cold sauce was also cold plate, cheese wasnt even melted even when we got new order was same ...cold food use to be great loosing there touch I got the fish tacos was very small pieces...music too loud you have to scream at each other ...not very good atmosphere tonight..was our favorite place but might rethink it..food is going down kind of ruined our night.

The food is terrible I had a bbq chicken pizza, I have never had such a bad pizza. The cheese looks like a cheap supermarket cheddar and the crust isnt great. The entire work is a failure Supposed to close at 9pm but at 7:45pm I was told that the dining room was closing and I had to get takeout. In short, never again! For $25 go elsewhere!

1st time at this location. All was good but very loud. I appreciated that it was just people talking and not overly blaring music. Very large open space, poor acoustics, and the place was packed.

Delicious food ! So good we came back 2 nights in a row and our family of four got something different on both visits.

As usual, the food was so good. I might have said this already but the braised beef short ribs is the reason why I can never become a vegetarian. The appetizer of crispy steak bites and the crème brûlée for dessert completed my birthday meal perfectly. I had made a reservation and although we arrived early, we were seated right away. Our server was very attentive and kept the food and bevvies coming at a nice pace.

My wife and I have been here about a half dozen times, and each time have ordered something different....and we have NOT been disappointed yet. The food is great, and not overly expensive. The beer isnt bad either! :) Would highly recommend for a date night or get together with friends.

Brought a large group from work here for lunch including my boss, the food was delicious , service great and even those that arrived late they quickly took orders and food arrived also quickly. Nice central spot when hosting from variety of areas too!

After being waiting for a long time at the door, the host finally approached me and offered to seat at the bar as an option. Since there were a lot of empty tables around, I asked for a table, and the answer was that the tables are only for groups of more than one person (there were tables available for 2 and 3 persons at the time). Being treated like that, I just decided to go to another place where my business is better appreciated. Things happen for a reason, and I was able to enjoy a dinner properly seated.

Visited last night. Overall, we enjoyed our meals. However: it was very loud (in general, not due to music) and we all had trouble hearing each other from one end of the table to the other (two tables pulled together). The waitress seemed distracted/bothered and/or couldnt hear us herself and twice missed something that was requested. Ordered a lemon drop martini ($14!!!) and the glass was about 3/4 full, almost like someone had taken a sip or two before it was served, and the stem of the glass was sticky. All of our food was lukewarm instead of hot. For the women, there was only one bathroom with only two stalls, and one was out of order, causing lineups of 3 people or more at times. And finally, there was nothing on the menu to indicate which meals were gluten-free except for mentioning that gluten-free buns were available for burgers. The waitress didnt know either. We were surprised that something that simple was left off the menu; there were spots for alcohol-free items on the menu, but nothing to show what was gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan. The food was tasty though and we all particularly enjoyed the whipped feta with sundried tomato pesto appetizer, but it needed another naan with it as we had cheese left over; We wound up eating the rest of the cheese with our utensils.

Had the Liguria Chicken salad. Seemed like something I can make at home. Im a below average cook. It wasnt extraordinary as expected from a restaurant that severd tacos and butter chicken.

The place is busy all the time being next to a hotel. Food is delicious and there are plenty of options. Food prices are reasonable but the drinks are expensive.

The fish and chips at The Brew Table were fantastic! The fish was large, incredibly crispy, and packed with flavor, paired perfectly with the fries. I also appreciated that they offered a second piece of fish, though the first was big enough that I had some to take home. The service was equally impressive, with our server being very attentive and responsive throughout the meal. Overall, a great dining experience that I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our meal here, and our out of town friends did as well. I ordered the Naan Turkey Club. It was juicy and tender! Loved the cranberry infused mayo.

Huge portions and good food

What makes this place good is the decor, ambiance and fun energy. Food is average ( though some people found an aspect of their meal great, like mashed potatoes). Mixed booth and high top seating. Parking lot can be full as its shared with the hotel.

had lamb shank dinner. it was delicious, could use more gravy. the carrots were beautiful looking but it was so weird cuz it had no taste whatsoever. how is that possible?? also respectfully, the waiter needs to appreciate the importance of hot water for tea not lukewarm

They have a limited vegan option menu with the typical choices, the food was pretty good but its typical pub fare. The atmosphere is so-so but its a great location for people working or living in the Bells Corners area.

4.5/5 Took a chance on SkipTheDishes and blind ordered the Braised Beef Short Ribs (pictured here) and the Seafood Chowder. Wow - I dont think the picture does it justice to show you how big the portions are. Those are 3 full sized carrots in the large square takeout box. Everything was packaged beautifully. Food tasted hot and fresh. Took half a star off because the beef could have been seasoned a tad bit more and it wasnt as soft and far apart as my usual place but even then, Im nitpicking. Will definitely order from them again

Went for a quick lunch, and the sandwiches were very delicious and yummy! So good, I am for sure going back and trying more of their menu. The tomahawk pork chop looks tantalizing and reasonably priced for my next meal there! 1

My friend and I had lunch today, July 23. We both ordered the tomahawk porkchop with mashed potatoes, asparagus and peach sauce. We topped that off with chocolate lava cake for dessert. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. For a relaxing lunch, the place is noisy but our server did turn down the overly loud music. I would recommend this restaurant.

Terrible

We travelled across Canada and back this summer and this is our one bad review in 22 days of travel. We ordered meals for pickup and the burger was very overcooked, had only a small amount of lettuce and tomato on it, and had no sauces. The other meal was ordered with sweet potato fries, at an extra charge, and was provided with normal fries. Overall, our worst experience this summer.

I paid a premium price for a burger and fries. The fries were so dry, like cardboard, and the burger was tasteless and very greasy. I could have gone to Harveys and got a much better meal for one third the price. We had to ask for someone to take our order. The ambience was unpleasant, music and conversation too loud.

While on a business trip i went here for the better part of my two week stay at the Hyatt. The choice of food, quality thereof and choice of drinks was excellent and left no reason to drive to other places. Also the staff was always friendly and professional. You could tell they enjoy working here.

Service, menu and ambience were all well above average. Our visit was with group of 12. All dishes arrived promptly and none disappointed. I had the seafood medley, which was surprisingly above expectations.

Quick, friendly service in a pub atmosphere. Food is good with generous portions. I am not a pub lover so it was a little loud for me but I would go back for work functions etc.

Jamie ensured we enjoyed our time at the pub and gave me an experience I dont often speak of, made me laugh at all his jokes like he actually cared how we were that day and looked after us perfectly. We stopped in as it is in the parking lot of the Hyatt next door and it was a great hotel as well. One stop shopping. Make a date and go, packed at lunch and dinner with tons of cold pints on tap! My friend at the special chicken panini and I fell for the bacon wrapped meatloaf which was great! Tons of food and we both had a couple cold pints and after tip it barely hit 70. Great value.

Our waitress was Shayla and she had an attitude the entire time. Two separate times she spilt beer on her tray and then decided to hand it over the table, letting it drip over the menus and such and didn t even say sorry or clean it up. She constantly reaches over without saying excuse me - at one point my boyfriend and I were facing each other, very clearly having a conversation and she does the hand gesture to him to move out of the way and then proceeded to reach in between us before we even had time to react. Once the food came she asked if anyone wanted salt and pepper and then shook the salt shaker and spilt salt on the table, on my mom and in her wine - Shayla did not apologize or try to clean it up. I think the overall experience would have been better with a different waiter or waitress, but my Mom didn t want to make a fuss since it was her Birthday.

I thought this place was good until I went there and almost leaked to death on the kitchen floor got injured there because they dont follow work place safety and Im still injured nobody from this place reach out to me to see how im doing or anything Im slipping in an out of a stage of depression due to the injuries this place caused and Im also not capable of working at any jobs with weightlifting due to the injury

Went back after my poor review (see below). Janet had provided a gift certificate to experience again the food/service at Brew Table. This visit MUCH better. Ordered lobster rolls. Lots of lobster meat and service provided by Amanda was exceptional. This is an establish ment that looks for food/service perfection. Glad I came back to check it out again. Recommend this location. Probably the worst meal I have had in years. Ordered Lamb shank ($29) and it was very dry, no gravy and presented in an unappetizing way. Brew Table can do better at these prices. Waiter was acceptable but not overly attentative. Unfortunately not a positive experience for the money spent ($65). I will not go back unless they make major changes to food quality and service

Absolutely fantastic place. Everything we had was delicious. Service was great, tried the beer flight, with our servers suggestions. The fried brie with cranberry was to die for. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Ottawa.

Beautiful atmosphere, incredibly personable service by Natalie. We had an excellent meal with a large group of about 12 teens and 24 adults. Lot s of variety and right across from the Hyatt hotel. I d recommend!

We had the team dinner today. Twelve players and their parents were present. Six parents and one kid were at my table. My two kids sat with other players at another table, and the rest of the parents sat at the other three tables. I ordered a cup of Guinness beer and a seafood medley. My two kids ordered two Fish and chips, and I also ordered a Power Bowl to go. Everything went well until I noticed a fly inside my beer. I told the waitress, and she immediately exchanged it with another cup of beer. I didnt complain about anything. My friend told the waitress the restaurant should offer me a free meal. I actually didnt care about the free meal. I was willing to pay my bill fully. Another friend learned about the fly thing; She was surprised I took that very well. She would feel the fly thing was so gross that she started to clear her fork and knife. So I thought it would be nice if the restaurant could offer a 5 percent discount to the people at the same table to comfort them. Unfortunately, the restaurant manager told me she could not do it. All she could do was not charge for the cup of beer with the fly inside. It did not convince me the manager considered seriously enough by serving food with a fly to her customers. I didnt mean to punish anybody. A five percent discount on the table (including me and the other five parents) would be about $30. All I wanted was $30 for the restaurant to demonstrate responsibility to customers who were aware of the fly issue. So they can have the confidence to bake the restaurant again. I told the manager she could make her decision. But I would share my unpleasant experience and her offer for a review. She told me that was a threatening and horrible thing to them; I should show appreciation that the restaurant accommodated the team dinner in their place. I told her I did appreciate their service and the food. However, I would also share my experience and leave other customers to make their own decisions.

Service and decor were good. Waitress was exceptional. However food was a disaster! Pork schnitzel was as thick as a brick - although described as being pounded by hand. Germans and Austrians would revolt. My wife ordered the braised short rib. She could not cut through the tough grizzled meat. We sent it back and ordered the lamb shank. Slightly better, but the lamb shank at the Bayshore food court is way more tender and flavourful. All in all - the food court at the mall would have been much better choice. Kudos to the waitress who only charged us for our drinks.

My family and I came for dinner today and I had to share our experience. The braised beef short ribs, red Thai curry and linguine primavera with chicken was amazing. Anytime we come here the food is delicious and hot! Huge thank you to Natalie for providing us with a great evening together :) We love this restaurant!

Great date spot

I ordered a delicious pizza on Uber for pick up (staying at the hotel across the parking lot). I was told I needed to pay for the pizza, so I did I then immediately checked my Uber app and saw that I had paid for it already when I brought this up with the employee, she made me feel small and berated me saying why would you order through Uber!? She then told me she couldn t refund me and I had to take it up through Uber. It made me sad. And now it s a me problem I guess? Update* Uber eats came through for me. Unlike that sour employee who served me. I still feel sad and small.

Skip The Dishes wont reverse the thumbs down the restaurant received from my order so Ill give my honest review here. We love this place, and go there often, but havent been able to recently because of our newborn. We ordered using Skip and the food was amazing as always, but I received regular fries instead of the sweet potato fries I requested. Really not a big deal, but I requested a refund for the item in the app, and it automatically gave the restaurant a thumbs down which is not okay! Thanks for a great meal!

Service was great - the staff was friendly and accommodating. Venue is stylish, comfortable and clean. I wasn t a fan of all the onion flavours in my food . I ordered the fish tacos with the salad on the side, and found the taste of raw onion and both dishes to be overpowering. Turns out the house salad has a sweet onion vinaigrette. They offered to make me a new salad which was great. Unfortunately my taco also seemed to have the same dressing which overpowered all the other flavours. If I order this dish again, I ll get it without the dressing.

In town for getaway with my wife, stopped in for lite diner of nachos including desert (apple crisp & vegan carrot cake) it was fantastic. Our server Verenique made us feel like family, she was awesome. We were so impressed with the service and food that we made reservations for the next night too.

I went to the Brew Table with my husband for dinner for the second night in a row. Our server Verenique was amazing and gave us a warm welcome back. Going with her recommendations, we ended up eating two of the best meals we have had at a restaurant. We highly recommend The Brew Table to anyone who finds themselves in the Ottawa region. Thank you for a lovely meal and evening. We will definitely be back another night to sample their sweet deserts.

Very busy and noisy and service was not good. Took a very long time to get a glass of water. Very disappointed in their red curry chicken. It was so runny that it should be served in a soup bowl. It was disgusting. My friend ordered schnitzel and it had some dried up cabbage on top of it with a blob of potatoes. The dishes are probably worth $5 and charging customers over $30. How disappointing.

Cold, mediocre food, won return

This place has it all. Great food at a reasonable price and its always busy which makes for a lively atmosphere. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level with no steps.

High ceilings means its noisy but the food and service are amazing. Been there a couple of times with a group of over 8. They looked after us very well !

French frie where so so. Appetizers were very large and tasty but the bread with them was sort of toasted but more stale than anything. Server was good but unfortunately to busy with the bar crowd. Had to flag him down all the time. Never came over on his own. Nice selection of beer.

It has a large and excellent selection of beer and wine and an extensive food menu. Service was excellent.

I love the mussels and usually have them almost every time I go. They are well plated, usually the bowl is hot to help them stay warm and amazing white sauce with bacon and leeks. The problem is the NOISE. Even when not too busy their music is loud and its hard to have converstaion. They need to get sound deadning to help with the carrying of the voices or something. We went at 5pm on a weekday and it was still a problem. The wait staff is good and most of them are friendly.

We had lunch there yesterday, perhaps a good place to drink beer at, but the food is Horrible. My guest ordered the fish tacos, the salad that came with it was 1/3 of the bowl size and drenched with dressing you could drink it. I had the angus burger, the patty was dry and hard and they forgot the pickle, my fries were cold and not even seasoned. You should stick to the beer sales because the food showed a deep lack of pride and caring.

The service is very good, friendly and timely. The food is not good. And for the value of money it is not worth it. I ordered the gourmet lamb burger for $24 Add the tips and the tax you are looking at $32, definitely not worth a $10 and it is not good. The french fries are horrible what a waste.

Did a good job recently accommodating our large group (20) for a farewell lunch. Good food and service but disappointed that they ran out of certain dishes we were interested in trying.

Waiter was great but the establishment dropped the ball as our appetizers took over an hour and the manager only was able to come up with an excuse that comprised of short staffing issues. A little more accountability and any sort of recovery effort would ve been nice as we were being very patient considering it was an empty patio and later in the evening.

The Brew Table never fails to disappoint, even with a wide ranging menu that includes home comfort food as well as traditional pub favourites. Special mention has to go to the fish and chips, which as a Brit abroad, have been the best I ve tried so far in Ottawa. The new location down Moodie drive is light and spacious and if anything, busier than the old spot, but the excellent food and service have survived the trip. A solid restaurant in Bells Corner which will never disappoint.

Waited over an hour and half for apps waited another 30 minutes for mains. Establishment apologize for the wait, said they would take care of all inconvenience. Bill came congrats here pay full price to wait 2 hours for food. Wouldnt even apologize at end. Just an awful experience.

Came to the brew table to celebrate my in-laws birthday. I mentioned to our server, Troy, that I had a gluten & dairy allergy and he was very helpful as he walked me through the menu to tell me exactly which items could be modified. He recommended the lamb shank and it truly did not disappoint. The serving size was quite giving including their side salad portion. Their house salad dressing is made in house and was soo tasty. It was a busy night and the wait for food was long but Troy was great at keeping us in the loop and getting us drinks in the meanwhile. When Troy brought out our round of desserts (ps they have a gluten free & vegan carrot cake - pretty decent !) he offered to take a pic and blessed me with a selfie haha! I would definitely recommend this place to friends Vegetarian options: Saw they had a few vegan options including tofu to add to salad, as well as a roasted veggie sandwich that looked good. I went there with my colleagues for a Friday lunch. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. I ordered the seafood medley, it was really good. The price was also very reasonable, which is becoming rare these days, so its nice to see them keeping the price in check.

Oh my gosh where do I start! This place is just absolutely amazing. I was away on a work trip for 2 weeks, this place was located super close to our hotel and we ended up finding this little gem. Safe to say we either ate here or ordered in for the entire time we were there. The food is so delicious we couldn t get enough. I m sad that there isn t one located in the city I live in. I believe Natalie was our server, brown hair glasses great attitude. By far some of the best service I ve ever had. I told her I had a shellfish allergy and she made very sure that my dishes were handled with care. Next time I m in Ottawa I ll be back for sure. PS get the chicken supreme you will thank me later.

Honestly the best food and service I ve ever had! The chicken is the best dish by far. Came here 4 nights in a row Keep up the great work amazing place. If I ever go back to Ottawa is because of this place.

Solid food, nice place.

Stopped in after arriving at the airport and on the way to stay with friends. It s an upscale pub with many local and delicious beer options, which I tasted as part of a 5 drink flight. The Ale & Cheddar Dip was a generous portion of gooey and stringy cheese with a yummy zip. The Beef Bourguignon had a delicious depth of flavour, but I wish there were a few more pieces of meat. As for the fluffy Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cheesecake scrumptious. Thank you for a delicious surprise welcome to Ottawa!

Good food but a bit pricey.

Had supper with friends and we all had a fantastic meal. A special shout out to the Seafood Chowder and Fish & Chips...I would say the best in the Ottawa. The staff were outstanding. We will be back!

Whats with this place since new ownership??? Fish and chips cold on the inside? This means one of 2 things frozen fish or precooking. One of the simplist things to make fresh and they completely mess it up. Im guessing since new owners have taken over all the old experienced kitchen staff left or were chased out as all the management from before were chased out because there isnt a shortage of good people in this industry all ready. Its no wonder all the front of house staff walk around like their best friend just died. I actually overheard one of the owners talking to a manager who isnt here anymore either about replacing every person in that building to get what they want. Im guessing being successful isnt what people want anymore.

First time eating here last night for dinner and I was really disappointed. Hostess was quick to get a large group of us seated and service was good but the food and drinks were mediocre. Ordered the new bt mule, took server a long time to input it into her iPad, the drink I was served was so bizarre it tasted nothing like a Moscow mule, told the server it wasn t what I was expecting and her reply was that s too bad .ordered the angus burger, meat was dry, no sauce on the burger and the fries were burnt. Not going back again.

I had the meatballs and I was very full afterwards.

Weve been there a few times but last time we found the music was louder than our liking. Besides that it was perfect. We will definitely be back. . Food

It is a nice friendly place with a good vibe. The food, at least tonight, left something to be desired. The French fries were over-fried, I suspect they were reheated, judging by rather dark brown colour, and questionable texture.The beers were good. The service was OK. The food was decent for the people who did not order fries.

One of the best restaurants in Ottawa. Everything is made fresh and from scratch. This is how a gastropub should be.

I have been a long time customer of the Brew Table. The food is always consistent, when it isnt the staff takes action to correct the situation. Staff they are all great! Amanda Boyling is a great and whos laughter is infectious. Recently Andrea has started to bartend, what energy!!! She is energetic, enthusiastic and takes great pride in her work. You will never go without with Andrea on bar! I highly recommend a visit to this lovely pub!

Had a great time. Dishes were good. Price to portion size ratio was respectable. Would recommend.

Food was ok. Beef bourginon was very peppery. Service was ok, but server mixed up the bills... several times. Very loud inside.

The Brew Table - I visited yesterday for a work lunch. I ordered the Power Bowl with chicken I just have to say that it was one of the best...maybe the best...meal I have had in a long, long time! Thank you so much for providing a healthier option that tasted so great it felt like a major treat when I was actually fueling my body with super healthy foods. So good!

Been there many time since it opened. Seems like they have had a big change in staff. The food was amazing as always but the service at the bar was extremely slow and un prioritized. Took forever to get a menu, took for ever to get my first beer. Was even left with an empty glass for about 20 mins before I was able to flag her down for a refill. Took forever to get my bill and took forever to pay it. To get a refill, I waited forever while other that still had beer where getting refills. The service at the bar was non conversational and its wasn t even that busy. Seems the change in staff has really affected the service they provide, especially at night. Seems like you always having to flag someone down, even when the bar side is pretty much empty. The bar was left unatended many time for long durations. I wasn t the only one complaining. Take the time to attend this facility if you re attending the bar. You might be there for a few hours . I know times are tough, but for what this bar was, up until the past couple weeks, it s not the same. Even management doesn t to seem to be around like they used to be. Show the standards have kind of dropped within service. But don t get me wrong, the food is good atmosphere should be a little more upkeep in the late every night. Bar closes at 10pm. Not much for a happening place.

We had our staff party last night at the Brew table and it was fantastic! We were a party of 18 and our server was great! All our food arrived pretty much at the same time and in a timely matter. Our server was attentive, friendly, and the food was great! Highly recommend! Food

Great pub. Its a hidden gem. They could probably hire a few more servers though.. Its crazy buzy at lunch.

Good food and service but the place was too loud making it very difficult to have a conversation at our table.

They took our reservation but didnt keep our reservation. It was also too loud for our party to talk.

Good location, well maintained, very clean. Make sure that you have a reservation, although the server at the front gave us a great seat at the corner of the bar. The food was presented well, and also tasted great. We had the added bonus of having the bartender as our waitress; she was friendly, funny, had an excellent memory, and served great drinks. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Only negatives were the limited parking, and the music was a little louder than normal for lunch hour; made it hard to hold a conversation.

Menu Prices indicated on Internet should be the same as the one indicated and charged in the restaurant. I will avoid the place until situation is adjusted. It means false representation.
