I really dont know what it is the last couple of visits, Ive been majorly disappointed with the quality of the food. This time, my sandwich was basically inedible. Smokehouse beef brisket was cold in the middle and half of it was unchewable fat. Dont think Ill be going back for a while, which is unfortunate..

We had the hook and ladder, and the italian. Both sandwiches were great.

I really wanted to love my sub but the honey ham made it taste incredibly sweet. I couldn t finish it. Otherwise the ingredients tasted fresh which I really liked.

This is probably one of my favourite sub places. Their subs are always tasty and filling. The size of a large sub is is about the size of 2 medium subs! They also have a coke machine to mix different flavoured sodas together.

Subs are excellent and love that you can donate to the local fire department. Service is friendly and very quick.

Best Subs in the City Always consistent and amazing customer service

I ve ordered subs here regularly for the last couple months. They are really tasty! Bread is so soft and fresh, and toppings seem like they re good quality. Food is consistent, never had a bad experience. The subs are big and filling, and although it s a tad pricy I d say it s worth it. I used to be a regular at Subway but I m converted now haha.

Great food especially since that other sub chain has stopped serving meatballs and tuna, Firehouse Subs to the rescue! Their subs are amazing , friendly staff and the place is always clean. Highly recommended, I will never to back to that other chain :) Hope they open some locations in the Gatineau area.

I order the platters from this location. The owners are great to deal with and always smiling. The staff are wonderful and I have had nothing but great subs from this location. They are very accommodating and are very generous with the toppings.

My husband ate there on Feb 21, 2023 and had a meatball sub. He has been sick with food poisoning since last night. The meatballs were likely not properly cooked. Beware if you re choosing the meatball sub. If I could give them a 0, I would.

The owner and his wife and their team produce consistent high quality offerings and are wonderful people who actually care about their consumers. I for one am grateful to call them friends. You definitely need to visit Omer and get the best subs and salads youll ever want. 10/10

First time getting one of their hot subs. It came dead cold. Got it from delivery, not necessarily the stores fault, but the delivery service or store wouldnt fix the issue.

Great food made with delicious ingredients.

They make good sub sandwiches. This isnt your usual fast food sub ( you know who Im talking about ) Fire Station theme, a little pricey but good food.

This review isnt specific to this location but to the franchise as a whole. I used to love eating at Firehouse subs, the price was expensive but the portions were huge, I always left feeling stuffed. The size of the subs have gotten considerably smaller, there is less ingredients in the subs due to the considerably smaller size of the bread. But the price is still through the roof. I bought two subs and paid $36. There isnt a snowballs chance in hell Ill be eating there again, I could go across the street and eat at Mandarin for the same price and eat as much as I want and have a large variety to choose from of quality items. This is not the way to show customers you value their patronage.

Sandwich combos are pricey. But OMG my Sandwich was goood.

Always great subs. First time I tried them was in Dallas Texas, lm happy to say I was happier to see one in Ottawa!

I really enjoyed the sub and the atmosphere. Met up with a friend for lunch and had a great time. The subs are big enough you can have half for lunch and the rest for snack or dinner later on.

These subs are the best youll ever get. Absolutely amazing. Ill probably never go to Subway again, honestly. Yes its more expensive here but it is oh so worth it. It also still tastes pretty good as leftovers as well. The brownies are also incredible too. Definitely recommend the brownies.

Firehouse Subs is legitimately one of the most impressive places to eat out in context of what they are serving. Firehouse Subs unlike its competition(at least locally) delivers high quality and authentic subs. I think its fair to claim other sub chains make subs that you could honestly make yourself. In the end, the competition often offers either fake ingredients or something you could make at home while half asleep. Firehouse Subs although being more pricey, makes high quality subs worth your money, time, and satisfaction. I honestly dont think theres any competition that comes close(quality wise) in the subs department in Ottawa. The proportions to price ratio remains valid, while offering variations of delicious meat subs. The subs are not bloated of ingredients either. They know what works, and theyre there to do it. Lastly, the staff are very kind and welcoming. So if youre reading this and have been sitting on the fence of trying a new place, Id strongly recommend giving it a go. Cheers.

This place is pretty great. Management is good, service is good, and the place is clean. I recommend double toasting your bread, and watching your sauces. Lots of good variety on the menu Also added advantage, theyre open later than other sandwich shops. Always good to keep in your back pocket. Im an Uber delivery guy, and they gave me a free drink while I waited for the delivery. Very very few businesses take care of us with a smile.

Hey Owner, you have a very slow crew and they dont work on priority. they make walk in orders before deliveries, you see people walking in for orders and delivery drivers waiting 30 mins, they keep skipping them. For skip, uber, doordash, dont border ordering, waste of time. Orders should be first come first serve in one cue, both order and walk in.

I sampled their pepperoni pizza sub. It was surprisingly good! Their meatball marinara sauce has some kick to it!

So many different sandwiches to choose from and the bread is so fresh and tasty.The servers at the Huntclub Road location were nice and friendly. Vegetarian options: You can build your own veggies sub. Parking: Ample parking. Kid-friendliness: Fun firefighter hats for the kids and menu items.

Quality subs and service. Only issue is there were no lime wedges to make the featured drink mentioned on the card beside the drink dispenser. Well worth the visit for the food though.

Ive eaten a lot of subs in my life and hands down in my opinion, best sub Ive ever had. The bread is so good and the sandwich is built in a way that every bite has a bit of everything. We first tried firehouse subs at the Ogilvie location. We were very pleased and so we now use this location on hunt club while waiting for the Kanata location to open. We have purchased most of their subs and they are terrific everytime. We have also bought the family platters for events with family and friends. Every one has enjoyed them when we shared it with them. Had my first ever Firehouse sub 10 some years ago in Dallas, Texas. I am glad to see there progression north to ! Great subs made to measure by friendly staff. Once ready they were zipped over to the table for us to enjoy. My hook and ladder was super tasty with a cup of their signature Cherry-Lime soft drink. Will be back for sure on the next trip to Ottawa.

Literally the best sandwich ive ever had. I struggled with my decision, Omer, the manager (I think) was super confident and decisive in his answer, and he suggested the sandwich I was leaning more towards (beef brisket and cheddar). Anyway, good vibes from the manager and customer service. And they made the hell out of my sandwich. So delicious. Softest most perfect sandwich bread. Heavy with ingredients but well balanced. Literally just the nuts of sandwiches. Im usually on keto diet, but I took December off so I could be a fat boy... But Im stoked to learn they have chopped salads. Their delicious food, excellent service, good vibes, and keto options... Im gonna spend a lot of money here. Nice work, team! If you havent tried this chain, youre missing out bro. OH! And they werent cheap with napkins which I appreciated. And the manager gave me and my gf some super fresh cookies. Im so pumped about this level of service.
