I had an unfortunate experience with Wendy’s New Glasgow recently. My order was incorrect, so I went back to have it remade. When I explained the issue, one of the staff members argued with me about what I should have ordered instead. It felt unprofessional and was honestly frustrating. I’ve worked at nearly every fast food restaurant myself, and I know customer service is key—arguing with a customer should never be part of the job. I hope the staff can receive better training to handle similar situations more respectfully in the future.
Messed up my order. Multiple times. But it's the only Wendy's. They're rude. The management is rude, too when we tried to address issues. Not sure if it's more incompetence or unwillingness, but they sure do excel in both.
Ordered two Dave's single cheeseburger combos. The food was cold and the burgers had so much mayonnaise on them they were falling apart. They were so soggy. The fries were awful. I asked for one order without salt but they were still salted. The food must have been prepared ahead as I barely finished ordering and it was ready. What a huge disappointment!
This is the fastest fast food restaurant in New Glasgow. The friendly staff work hard and I have never waited more than 3 minutes for my food when ordering inside. The majority of fast food places seem to prioritize drive through, but this Wendy's has an excellent balance between their drive through and their front counter. I also really like the soft drink machine and that I can choose different flavors to add to my Coke haha My one complaint is the decor is fairly sterile and its always cold in there, so only 3 stars for atmosphere. I prefer ordering inside rather than the drive through, but I would rather eat in my car afterwards than sit inside.
Rip off I order a Dave's meal with a large lemonade keep in mind it's not the staff's fault it's the establishments fault head office whoever. The little girl fills up a cop half full then she proceeds to put three large scoops of ice in the cup bringing the liquid to the top making it look like it was full of lemonade. A total rip-off next time ask for no ice and to fill it to the top with lemonade what you pay for once again it's not the staff's fault it's the establishment who makes the rules.
Bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Food was mediocre, as for service, ot was a mobile order that I picked up in store and it was ready on the counter when I arrived so I did not directly speak to anyone
Ordered the awesome Portobello mushroom melt burgers(4)...my family looks forward to these when they come back around twice a year. Love the taste and the ingredients but absolutely not impressed with rubbery half cooked bacon....first time ever.....
Updated aug 6 2024 Tonight I had the bacon poutine and will NEVER get it again. The curds are put on frozen and no amount of gravy will change that. I took all curds out as not to make rest cold. They could have microwaved it a little. But it’s their policy so I will not get again. The only highlight was a young man named Kyle who served me. He was very kind. Have recently moved here and love the chance to come here. Had French toast with chicken strips , loved it . Staff so friendly and service oriented that is not seen a lot. Love the frostcinno also.!

The place is always busy but atmosphere is good. Staff is always very friendly and food is good quality and tasty. Parking: They share the parking lot all around the building with Tim Hortons. You will always find a spot.

Food is always perfect when I go in at night. When I see the fella with the long hair working I know itll be made exactly right. However the last 3 times Ive been in the girl bagging my order has been wearing air pods. No problem while shes just cleaning but Im basically yelling at her to ask for condiments because she cant hear over her music. It didnt help that any interaction with her shes rude and very unpleasant to deal with. I love the food but questioning if I want to go back anymore.

I ate a chicken wrap and I got food poisoning. The chicken wasnt cooked so Ill never go back there again. And the young lady that served me at the cash. She was chewing bubble gum and she wasnt very professional and that was in new Glasgow.

every single time I get a chicken Cesar salad there s hair in it. Today I found 7 hairs, all different colours and I was DISGUSTED. Please Wendy s fix this, I love the salads but end up not eating them due to this problem.

The server at the drive thru screwed up our order so badly. We wanted to dinners with baked potato and sour cream and margarine, No drinks, and we got drinks, no margarine, and rude service from her at the window. My husband has a hard time hearing and they should made sure their headphones are turned up in all instances instead of talking to others while they are taking an order. This place gets worse each time we visit there, we are going to have to find another fast food place better than this one.

I always will love this place, the food is always good for fast food. There is a little fireplace in the lobby, but its a fast food restaurant its not extraordinary. Get the spicy Asiago chicken sandwich it is better than most chicken sandwiches Ive eaten.

Just another fast food chain, its solid and good but not spectacular. Its convenient. In my personal opinion they need to toast the buns better and reduce the moisture of the buns, because it seems to me that most of the time the burgers are soggy. I dont enjoy that.

Its your average Wendys/Tims combo an all in one spot to get some of that juicy beef and delicious bacon. End the visit with a coffee for the ride home.
Was disappointed with the iced coffee, not what I expected. More ice than coffee. But no worries, others would probably disagree. Hamburger ok. Chips overdone. Why these days, is everything done in a hurry. No care taken.

Good as always. I think I liked I enjoyed the chicken nuggets more from here then mcds. Their new iced coffee is also as good as their competition. Kid-friendliness: Workers were great when my toddler waved or distracted them.
Its a Wendys...
If youre crazy like me, youll come here just for the fancy Coca Cola Freestyle machine. That thing has more flavours than I even knew existed!! Not to mention that it has flavours that never appear in Canada like Coke Cherry Vanilla. Bring your own straw though, the paper straws take away from the magic.
Its exactly what you would expect from a lowest-common-denominator burger place, but very slightly better.
Basically, just stopped to have a pee. It went well. I like Wendys though

I really like Daves burgers but I have yet to get hot fries from this location. They taste like they have been setting under the warmer until ordered, cold or next to it how hard can it be to provide hot French fries. Parking: No problem lots of parking

Very poor quality.....I went thru drive thru and had to wait for a chicken sandwich when I received my order the hamburger I ordered was so cold I was like it had been sitting outside very disappointing with the quality of the food . I WILL NOT BE RETURNING

Busiest fast food joint in town but the inside window is always closed, good luck getting your food within 25 minutes. Do yourself a favour and get DQ, Wendys doesnt want to serve you food.

While I was there, they kept forgetting parts of my order so I had to go and ask, and they kept making mistakes with everyone else s orders as well. Not sure if its just new staff, but it was pretty disappointing missing items I paid for.
Very annoying there being no sign outside the resterant stating there is no counter service... Inconvenience getting all the way inside just to turn around and walk out when all could be avoided by putting a sign where people are able to see it

Went in. Iron curtain pulled down. I was told we had to use the drive through. No thanks. Poor customer service, not a good attitude from the manager.
I guess they just close whenever they want around here in new Glasgow and dont stick to their regular business hours.

Love going to this Wendys. Always solid service and product. Worth it every time
3 out of three times the food was lukewarm at best. Staff are short with customers and dont have a system of organization for letting people know their instore vs app orders are ready.
Second time in a row going through the drive thru and missing items from my order, and the ones I did get were thrown together
Food was really good but staff seemed like they didnt want to be there and the dinning area was a mess fries all over the floor and the area with cutlery was covered in spilled pop and only had 2 ketchup holders. Not to mention the trays they sent the food on was covered in old chease and very clearly hadnt been washed.
