2841 New Glasgow Rd, New Glasgow, PE C0A 1N0, Canada
Riverside eatery offering refined regional fare & house jams in an airy setting with high ceilings.
Great Tourist Destination, with lots of knick knacks. The preserves are super tasty. Flavors a plenty. Great view of the river, and a beautiful garden to walk around in.
Must visit this spot for breakfast! Make a reservation online because it gets busy in the summer. Try the potato pie! Enter the shop through the main doors and turn left. Wait to be seated. Restroom is near the host stand. Cute decor with tall ceilings and beautiful quilts. You can see them making jam through a window in the shop.
Loved this restaurant! It was recommended by a local and we loved it so much we went back twice! The staff were always so friendly and we had a server on our second time named Jamie and she was fantastic! So kind and had wonderful recommendations for the tea! I ordered the PEI Potato Pie and was talking to her about how much I enjoyed it she went and grabbed a little print out of the recipe and brought it to me! I love that ❤️ my partner got the Country Breakfast and it was hearty and delicious! They also have a little walking garden called the Garden of Hope so after your meal you can take a stroll in the garden and play life sized chess or enjoy some beautiful views of the river and some lovely flowers! They also make and sell their own jams, when you first enter you can see all their flavours and they have a little tasting bar to taste the different jams they have. We also ended buying some as they were delicious! You can even see through a little window and watch them canning the jams freshly in house!
What a spot to stumble upon! I came for the Bfly House, parked at this location and strolled through this breathtaking Garden!! You can end up at the Bfly House along the trail, so if you have time - walk the trail 👌🫶🦋 This place is great for a solo day, couples or families trip 🥳 There's a cute Cafe located here and the most delicious preserves located in the store!!
This little gem in new Glasgow is the most sweet unique place! Beautiful restaurant with cute little gift shop! Stroll down hope garden in the back yard beautiful flowers and a little walk through nature visit a few animals and then into the butterfly house…this was surreal the beauty, elegance and freedom, the kids (3 and 6) were in complete awww holding orange slice and butterflies landing on them thousand of different colours, shapes so beautiful! A must visit!
Made a stop for breakfast on a Friday morning, and ended up a little late. We opted to eat at the Garden Cafe patio so that the dog could join us on the patio. The service was super friendly as they accommodated our large group. Most of us tried the potato pie which didn’t disappoint. Get extra mayo if you can! A few chose the lobster croissant and noted it was fluffy and tasty. Walking the grounds and butterfly garden made for a great morning.
Beautiful shop! Would recommend the pancake mix, it’s even more delicious mixed with some raspberry and champagne jam. The Garden cafe is also a great place to stop grab a croissant to enjoy with the wonderful preserves. A must stop on any PEI adventure.
Another hidden gem recommended by a local and it is totally worth it. They have huge selection of preserve, you can try them all and they would advice you on every one( they know their goods very well) There is a master price cafe where we had breakfast , the food, the service was all on point There is a garden as well you can walk in and a butterfly conservatory which would visit next time as we were out time This place is a must visit and beautifully represents PEI. Kindness and relaxing
Nice shop and restaurant. A great range of local products. The peach salsa is delicious. There is also a beautiful garden next door for a little digestive stroll.
Very interesting assortment of preserves and teas that are delicious. I was very impressed to see their manufacturing process is very handmade.
Great lobster lunch - Beautiful gardens to walk through next to the river.
Most important is the Raspberry Cheesecake pie. Perfect for every meal including breakfast. The lobster roll on a croissant is a delight with an excellent salad. They know how to serve tea properly. After lunch is shopping for Jams and Ginger Curd (for winter colds and upset stomach) and Peach Salsa (Chicken and Fish). In the Café separate from the Dining Room they served lunch to four bus loads of tourists from Cruise ships
So disappointed. Came all the way from Alberta with this as one of our destination points and theyre restaurant is closed for a private function in midday. A couple of tables eating in the restaurant but no one else can get in.
Lovely place to visit, beautiful gardens to walk around. Preserves to taste and buy plus a great restaurant.
Nice place, but due to staff shortages we couldnt have lunch here. Small shop before you enter the restaurant with all kinds of homemade jellies, jams and more.
Great store with a huge variety of items and excellent customer service. We came on a cruise ship excursion and were given coffee, crackers with several jams and cookies. Everything was delicious!
Such a fun little spot with delicious food!
A great collection to buy from and well maintained garden and cafeteria
Magnificent place to eat a good meal and stock up on good supplies! Excellent discovery of raspberry liqueur.
Beautiful grounds. Plenty of free samples of different jams
Nice selection of tea
Leisurely breakfast with beautiful view of countryside. Staff friendly and efficient. 2 eggs, toast, meat, 3 pancakes and coffee for less than $20.
Wonderful gift shop with great tea accessories, their own homemade jams. Their cafe/restaurant has a great menu that is professionally prepared.
Pretty cute!
French Toast was scrumptious!
Love this place! I did the picnic experience and the amount of food was very reasonable for the price, not to mention it was a lovely spread. Love the idea that you can just go and take a picnic in their beautiful garden, and the animals they have on site are an added bonus!! Highly recommend
I ve been coming here since I was a child and I have to say the quality of the preserves the food and the hospitality have remained unchanged.
We ve never eaten here, but the preserves are amazing! It s a cute little shop, in a cute part of the Island. It s definitely worth the stop. Try the preserves and treat yourself to a magical experience.
Ive been bringing groups her for years! Wonderful preserves and you can taste them all. Sometimes you can watch them make the preserves through a window. The restaurant is very good and the gardens are beautiful! Definitely worth a stop!
A must stop on any visit to PEI. We stopped for a visit and had a lovely breakfast with a sampling of their homemade preserves. The food was so delicious we went back for lunch on another day and 3 other breakfasts! Highly recommend the restaurant. Wonderful service. Afterwords we went for a walk in their lovely gardens and took some time to visit the butterfly house as well. Worth the stop!
Great place with a large assortment of in-house made preserves. The tasting area is a very nice touch.
Very nice place for breakfast
Charming and a great mix of experience, local products, and good food. Had the large and rather tasty fish cakes, which were a tad dry on their own so they provided some of their green tomato chow - woo that really pulled it all together, what a great way to showcase the chow. I walked out with one of the last jars on the shelf, so hopefully for everyone elses life sake they restock it soon! The area is simply beautiful and you can take a stroll in various garden paths alongside the river Clyde. Worth a visit!
Lovely place to visit on a drive. Visitors enjoyed
We had a wonderful meal there with 11 family members. The service was friendly and efficient and all of our food choices were delicious. Many thanks for a great outing!
The jams are spreads and are not very good. Jams used to be delicious, but that is no longer the case. Too bad.
Great food. Has changed in the last couple of years. Menu is small. The gardens could use some TLC. The bugs/spiders need cleaned down from windows. Jam is delicious.
A hidden gem in New Glasgow! We planned to have a meal here but turned out we were delighted by their products. The home-made jam was definitely a highlight everyone must try (they offered free tasting). We bought strawberry jam home, with no added sugar and lots of strawberry for chewing. They also have ornaments with PEI features for tourists. This place worths the drive!
Id go back in a heart beat! We were a group of 20+, with kids, and everyone enjoyed their experience. Beautiful grounds/gardens, butterfly sanctuary for the kids was huge hit, food portions were large and delicious, and their preserves (aka jams with no sugar) are to die for!! Best Ive ever had.
What an awesome place! Make sure to see the butterflies!
Absolutely beautiful location, great local dishes, and lovely gardens to walk through after your meal. Highly recommend this place if youre in the area!
Clear but ac very noisy
Delicious products that you can sample first so you know what to buy. Friendly service.
Always love stopping in here when in PEI. Love trying the samples and bringing home our favourites!
We went for breakfast and got so much more. The potato pie and poutine breakfast were amazing, the sauce in both is the same and had a sweetness to it that complimented the entree well. The kids enjoyed their meal, especially the jam. The decor was simple and clean, loved all the aquatic stained glass- just gorgeous. The shop had gorgeous pottery, locally made jewelry, and a tasting section of their yummy jams. I read a previous reviews about the gardens nearby; they don t describe how big the gardens are! So this was a nice side adventure to add to our lovely breakfast experience.
Good sandwiches in Cafe. Jams are delicious but need more non-alcoholic options
Great meal and great service. Even though the parking lot was full the service was prompt and the food hot. Great breakfast spot and awesome view. Love the Country Breakfast here. (1 year later) Still great food and great service. Had the Country Breakfast (again) nice size breakfast.
Visit the butterfly house! A unique moment spent with nature and then a peaceful walk around the beautifully presented gardens. Oliver the goat was great! Gorgeous views
Stopped for lunch today , fish cakes were the best I ve had and my partner had the most amazing potato pie - this is a wonderful spot to eat, walk the garden and shop for jams/ salsa etc
Attended a wedding ceremony, the grounds are beautiful and the meal was delicious!!
Title: Cute Jams and Mugs, but Disappointing Restaurant Experience Review: The jams and mugs in the shop are indeed very cute, but the restaurant experience was truly disappointing. First of all, the service was not very good. We had just sat down, and the waitstaff kept urging us to order, several times, which was quite uncomfortable. Secondly, the serving speed was very slow. Many people who arrived after us received their food before we did, and we were still waiting, which was very frustrating. The most disappointing part was that the waitstaff were not very friendly to Asians. As we were about to finish eating, they came to rush us to pay the bill. Even when there was still food on the table and unfinished dishes, they already asked us to settle the bill. It felt like we were being rushed by the waitstaff throughout the entire meal, which was very unpleasant. I hope the restaurant can improve its service attitude and efficiency so that every customer can have a better dining experience.
Lovely lunch in clean bright room with lovely gardens out every window. Shop has lots of honey and preserves.
The butterfly house is a great place to visit particularly if you have children with you. The store selling preserves and the like is ordinary.
Good variety with great service
The butterfly house was super cool for the kids. Great quick stop while in PE.
The lake beside is so so beautiful, and saw a bald eagle flying through! The jams and other preserves are so tasty, a definite to take home.
Beautiful grounds. Love the shop. Service was a bit slow at the Café although we were the only clients at the time. We were also given wrong informations about the availability of items on the menu. It felt like the staff was unprepared. But our order was fulfilled alright.
Came for the raspberry pie & stayed for Cheryl. We wish you, your country boy & kids all the happiness in the world. Thank you for sharing your love story with us. Love Rachael & Grace.
Love shopping local tea and homemade jams, and having special tea in Preserves Cafe sometimes always the best gift for my family and friends from the island is Preserve Tea
Beautiful spot and wonderful view.
We probably wouldnt have stopped by the preserve company (despite it being recommended to us) if it hadnt been on our route through the island. And we would have missed out!!! The jams are fabulous and they had the CUTEST postcards. I bought haskap (honeyberry) which is one of my FAVORITE jams and then a lemon ginger which was divine. Planning to order some jams to give as gifts!
Nice place.
Your basic tourist trap. Its all about shopping.
If you re skin it s not white get ready to be serve last. Our waitress serve a party of 4 before us even though we show her pictures that we were there first. Got completely ignore, never coming here again.
Sandwich was lovely. Bread fresh and tomatoes the best. We actually arrived on Island as Seasonal residents who look forward to the seafood chowder. Today was so disappointing. The chowder was like milk with fish and potatoes with little flavouring . Very watery and lacked substance that we went for. As a Seasonal resident to this Island , I see changes in quality of food. This is not my first review, last year I identified changes in the breakfast that impacted quality, lunch was our go to last year, Opening our cottage and looking forward to a creamy and tasteful chowder lunch . So did not happen. Had my wife and son with me who experienced the same disappointment. Made me super sad as I was so looking forward to the creamy and tasteful chowder.
Stopped for a quick breakfast and really enjoyed our food here. Highlights are their preserves, they are unique. Friendly staff and the view from the dinning area is amazing. will be going back.
We enjoyed breakfast here two mornings in a row at the Cafe. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, light, airy, and inviting. Highly recommend.
Had the pleasure of visiting your store Nov 2023 during a cruise. Picked up a few jams Let s just say this is my favorite Jam love the strawberry reminds me of when my grandmother made home made jam. Just received my order of 12 You guys are the best !!!!
The food and atmosphere is lovely here. Also, the gardens are stunning for a stroll.
great staff, great products. the raspberry pie from the restaurant was amazing. jams, spices and mustard all incredible.
Great Breakfast...Great View
What an amazing experience! Came here for breakfast- everything was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! Also the preserves are incredible! I bought so many delicious treats! Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff!
Charming stop for tours and tourists
The gift of small jars of jam ended up in the airport security trash. Not allowed for carryon. Thank you for your very prompt reply and offer to replace
Great selection of preserves with some unique options like lingonberry and haskap, savoury options like peach salsa, teas, and a small selection of gift items. We will definitely be back on our next trip!
Always great! So many different Jams and Preserves to choose from.
Always a great experience here. We love the seafood chowder in particular, but everything is delicious! Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere with great views. Definitely worth checking out the gardens too.
Its a great place in a nice area. Good desserts. The raspberry cream cheese pie is amazing and its actually my great grandmothers recipe. Also dont leave without getting some jam. They have many different kinds, and samples to try them.
Unique & Interesting Menu Food Options in PEI My family and I stopped by for dinner during our road trip to PEI in Jul 2023. What really attracted me the most was their famous potato pies which I never tried before. It was really good. My other family members tried different things and werent disappointed with their choice. Although the waiting time was a bit long (up to 40 min) at least we were warned about it. We didnt have reservations so it was understandable. At least my brother-in-law and I had the opportunity to indulge in their local draft beer which also was very good. Overall, the food, the ambience, the décor, and friendliness of the staff were ALL great but pricey. Be prepared to spend quite a bit of $$$ because it is NOT cheap. I would still visit this place next time Im around PEI.
The girls loved this experience, food was great and great service
Wonderful food, atmosphere and our Server Hannah was also wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant. We are visiting from British Columbia and Ontario.
Very interesting place.
Beautiful, charming place on the water. Service and breakfast were good, potatoes were a little bland.
Lots of selection and samples but the lineup was so long from a cruise bus, we couldnt try any. I bought the sugar free orange marmalade, which was totally unsweetened. I think Ill add some Splenda.
The brunch was amazing, coupled with a stunning view of the river and surrounding gardens. The pancakes were honestly top 5 for me, really soft and fluffy. The cheesecake with strawberry sauce was also killer
The atmosphere, staff, gift shop, and pancakes were great here. The breakfast poutine was quite bland unfortunately, definitely get the pancakes!
Nice little place to visit the restaurant is very good food was well prepared
I was here 20 years ago with family and came back with my partner today. Equally as delightful as I remembered - excellent lunch, friendly service, and reasonably priced. Beautiful dining room too with a view over the river and the gardens.
I was at your establishment in the late afternoon June 25th. I had an amazing waitress, she told us her name was Brianne, as she greeted us and poured us some water. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products on your menu. We had a great conversation with her, and she recommended some amazing places to visit on the island, including your gardens. While she seemed very busy she took the time to ensure that we felt like the only ones of importance at that moment. We look forward to coming back, and having her as our waitress.
Great lunch. Gift shop peanut brittle.
Gardens were lovely. There was a wonderful selection of jams, sauces, and trinkets. We fell in love with the haskap Berry jam!
Just lovely. Great selection.
We had a great breakfast 2 days in a row. They have good service, coffee, and food. The country breakfast and breakfast poutine are great!
When we got into the restaurant I was amazed by the presented view. The seats and the whole interior were cozy. The food was well presented with a very aromatic smell. We really enjoyed our time there and special props to Greg who helped us through with good humor and suggestions! We enjoyed our lunch!
You know when you know. A GEM! We loved the gift shop and the gardens and our Tea Service. Miss my lovely tea
Havent been here in years and decided on a rainy Jul 3 to come for a late breakfast. What a treat...great food and just lovely wait staff.
Always a must stop place when in the area. Jams, tea and mugs on my regular purchases here.
Had a great breakfast here. The food was excellent and our server, Dale, made it so friendly.
The little shop and preserve were amazing! Would have loved to try some food but unfortunately we were seated and left unattended for over 25 minutes (while dining area was practically empty) No water, nothing! Would highly recommend their preserves but their restaurants hospitality gets a -10! Update - They reached out and we re very understanding of my concerns. Will definitely be giving their restaurant another try on my next visit!
They make the preserves on site. Lots of different flavors that they let you try.
We went to visit this place to buy gifts for relatives, because we had read very good reviews here. Unfortunately, we were not impressed at all with the service at the store. The store was practically empty when we arrived and no one greeted us, despite the presence of two employees. No one came to help us in choosing products or to tell us about the various products or to offer us a tasting. We made our choice alone despite having to walk for a good 10-15 minutes. Once at the checkout, I ask the cashier if she could gift-wrap some products for us. She told me that its not possible, because I had three jars and it didnt work in their packaging. That I needed two instead.... I would have appreciated if she had offered me something else to wrap my purchase with.... In short, I hope that the products will be better than their service....
Not good at all. Undercooked bacon. 4 pieces of hashbrown, no drink, the flies, the windows are not too clean. The staff no smiles, no good atmosphere with the staff. The price is exaggerated 60 pieces for 2 not much on the plate.. not like it at all.
Absolutely beautiful! The best potato pie I ve ever had!
Fish cakes were inedible. When I sent them back, I was told they would only comp my dessert. I did not like your food. Thank you for offering me more of it. Lovely atmosphere, but they need to work on their food and service desperately.
Overall a good experience but with some caveats. We arrived during the brunch rush on a Wednesday so we expected a bit of a wait. We were told 25 but it took 45. Thats fine, except the table we were seated at had been open (and clean) for 10 minutes, we assumed it was reserved or not in use only to be placed there. Food was ordered and the tea we had while waiting was great. Food arrived another 30 minutes later and was unfortunately served on the cooler side. It seemed as though the eggs toast, and home fries were finished well before the sausage and eggs so by the time the dish arrived it was cool. We opted to order dessert which was the best part of the meal, we will be back for dessert! The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, it just seems like theyre maybe working under staffed in the kitchen or something. Anyway, over all the meal quality was good, dessert was amazing, but it was a time suck spending nearly 2 hrs for brunch when just down the road at Chez Yvonnes the morning before we were in and out in 35.
Excellent shop to buy sone authentic products.
Pretty place, but the food is very average.
Excellent variety of jams and jellies made in house, and a great choice of coffee and tea mugs, as well as a nice restaurant connected to the store. Did I mention that you can also sample most, if not all of their goodies? Well yes you can and add a sample of the days tea too. Nice spot alongside the river where you can stroll through gardens and make your way to the butterfly house!
This was a wonderful experience. We bought several jellies. Nice to be able to taste.
Food is super fresh, really nice inside, would recommend to everyone!
Lots of fancy jam! A cool place is worth the stop to check them out and pick a jam or two.
Great service great food. Very busy on a Sun evening. They were fully booked by reservations. They were not taking walk ins. We got food to go. Pricey but good
The main course was really nice. I had the fish tacos and they were okay, but not great. I ordered the chocolate mousse cake for dessert and it was literally so bad I considered asking for a refund. I didnt want to get the baker in trouble so I just took it to go. I think the baker may have genuinely forgotten some key ingredients. I dont know If Id come here again. The jams are great tho
Warm place to stop for a bite to eat and buy a souvenir. Very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
Nice spot but very commercial. The service was extremely slow and the food was only fair. We were there late afternoon but they were busy.
Great breakfast, loved the potato pie option. Reservation recommended, especially in tour bus season
Terrific restaurant, great views and walking area outside and the jams are top-notch.
Excellent food and super friendly staff like Browny and Dale
Excellent service and very kind wait staff. Attentive and pays attention to food details. Very nice atmosphere. Feedback that was shared with waitstaff: bacon felt reheated/way too crispy, flies on seating, dirty white tablecloths on ours and the table next to us, and washroom smelled like strong urine. However good price for food and good value. Would return.
The food here is amazing - best meal we had on PEI!
Great place to eat and gorgeous gardens to walk in.
Had the fish cakes, which were more like fish flavored potato cakes. Meh.
great place for casual dining and shopping for home made preserves
Amazing customer service and food! Brooke was amazing! We had a small group with children and she was extremely accommodating with table arrangements and seating. Dale, our waitress, was fantastic! She handled everything with a smile. Kept the food coming, made sure everyone was happy and went above and beyond with everything she did for us. I highly recommend!
Love their jams and teas. Come in and try some of their free samples before you buy. But if youre traveling, dont take the jam jars in your carry on! You might make the security guards happy but youll leave PEI without some fantastic jams. Put it in your checked luggage instead.
Very nice, its more for tourist, a little pricey.
Great jams.
First, I will start with something we have not been able to clearly find out when we were researching online: the gardens are fine! In fact, the gardens of Hope are in great shape. There doesnt seem to be a lot of destruction from Fiona, and it was just a pleasure to walk the grounds. Theres a llama, goats, rabbits, a horse, a mule, and some lovely lawn games. A lively game of lawn chess was had. Now, as for the restaurant: the hype is real. Very friendly service, super kid friendly despite the posh decor. The food was delicious. We had the fish cakes, a breakfast poutine, and two kiddie meals. For dessert we had the famous raspberry cream cheese pie (its famous for a good reason), cheesecake with blueberry drizzle, an ice cream cake and a slice of lemon meringue. So yes, its safe to say we liked the desserts.
Free samples of the jams.
Very nice and clean. Got the strawberry rubarb jam very nice and tasty on toast. The honey was also very nice tasting. Good pricing for home made jams.
Nice place
First of all, extremely delicious food! The chicken and broccoli crepe & mango dressing on the salad were incredible. You must try a desert before you leave! I loved the sticky date pudding. Second, the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous inside and the area around it so nice! The only negative part of my experience was that there was a hair baked into the crab cake (so gross!) and the waitress offered to replace it with a new one (which we didn t do) but I think we should ve have gotten something docked off the bill instead. Also make sure you reserve a spot since they get full quickly especially since a lot of tour buses stop there.
Lots of wonderful reserves. You can watch them make it. Nice cafe Beautiful gardens around back. Worth checking out
Loved it, beautiful and quiet
Nice gardens, gift shop and butterfly house.
Very authentic and local products
Maybe I had too much expectations? Out of courtesy, I rated it 3 out of 5. Let me be completely honest you might enjoy it if youre seated by the window. Of course, not everyone gets that opportunity. So, what was my next expectation? Ah, the food. I ordered the country breakfast, but unfortunately, I couldnt get the toasts for reasons unknown. I kept waiting for 20mins after I had already finished everything on my plate, still nothing. My boyfriend ordered pancakes, but we had to ask maple syrup as it didnt come with the dish. Perhaps this was because the restaurant being too busy? Strangely, no one came to our table to ask if we needed anything else. Ive dined at many busy restaurants, but none of them had this issue. While you might visit the restaurant for its gift shop and good vibes, Id say the food, hospitality and overall experience might not be the highlight for everyone! I understand that sometimes a surge in customers can have a heavier workload. However, the breakfast didnt provide a great start to my day, and I dont want to blame it on other customers for that. Of course, not every one will have the same experience as us. Anyways, still thank you for the casual sorry and the compensation - we don t need to pay for the coffee. And hope everyone has a good time here!
Great food and service. Very charming spot with lovely scenery.
great preserves!
We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant this morning. We were a group of four, and we all enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. Our server Dale was very pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious. We will definitely visit again.
Great place to go. We got our jams and preserve, then returned for dinner.
In
Some of the best food and preserves on the island. Breakfast is incredible and so many gluten free options. Buddy spot but worth the wait.
PEI Preserves is an awesome spot to stop, grab a delicious meal or a dessert and choose one of the many teas to try. Then check out the gift shop and tour the gardens..all while taking in the views of River Clyde.
A nice store to visit for gifts- they carry preserves, candies in glass jars, along with other consumable local goods from PEI. They also have a dining section at the garden cafe, which offer a diverse option for cafe beverages and food (including vegan and gluten free dishes).
Its a nice view point and small garden located on the way to Cavendish beach. The place was having a excellent restaurant and souvenir store.
The Preserve Company is always one of my favourite spots on the Island. The food is consistently wonderful and the location has a lovely view. Whether stopping for a snack or a meal, there s something for everyone! Cute gift shop and gorgeous gardens too.
Had a great breakfast here. Great service and great prices
I love it so much... the people here are kind and warm, the scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh. Please come here to travel
Enjoyed a lovely lobster meal and shopping in souvenir store. Loads of preserves. Free tasting.
Delicious lobster experience. Fun gift shop where you can taste yummy PEI products. Second time visited. Wont be the last.
Oh so yummy, thank you so much for the delicious lunch! I really enjoyed this lobster! It was nice to walk around the garden too and see where your jams are made.
We had an awesome experience at the Preserve Company. The dining area is well lit with natural sunlight and an exceptional view of the water. The food was excellent and especially the Raspberry Cream Pie with a scoop of their homemade ice cream!!
Had low tea with small tour group, service and spreads were fine, but not anything special to me. Did not shop in gift shop, though this seemed to be main purpose of business.
What a cozy afternoon tea experience! The quality of tea is absolutely first class level! Blending with various spices and herbals, every type has the unique flavor. Strong recommendation! The price is so good, 4CAD of loose tea and lovely bygone teapot. Enjoyed leisure hours beside the river accompanied by gooses diving ans swimming, squirrel playing.
Come here two times today for a simple coffee and slice of pie , turned away both times.
Lovely spot Great food
We loved this shop and the attached restaurant! The restaurant was cozy and the food was delicious! The shop had a wide variety of jams and preserves. The only downside was that since we were on a cruise tour, we did not have a lot of time to browse!
Restaurant shut, no water for sale
Amazing store and staff. Lots of incredible jams, preserves and teas to purchase, as well as Dunoon coffee mugs.
Best preserves I have ever had. I was able to taste test the preserves and picked Raspberry Champagne. It was delicious!! There are so many choices of preserves to pick from.
Fun stop with a long lune for sampling Id you choose to try some of their preserves. Prices seemed quite high. There is a short but lovely walk on the grounds along the river
Cute shop. Lots of great options for jams and preserves. Also great for local art from local artists.
So good. Had the whole lobster lunch as part of an MSC excursion, and it was great. Loved the preserves and trinkets in the gift shop. There is also a garden.
Best raspberry cheesecake. Ever!
Best jam and other products.
Wonderful preserves and jams
Great opportunity for convention tour to shop. Great quality and selection.
Excellent
I recently placed an order, unfortunately there was an error made not anyones fault, more on the technology side. PEI preserves went over and beyond to rectify it, awesome customer service.
