I wish I could have option to give Zero Star I recently had a really disappointing experience at this location. The drive-thru staff was incredibly rude, and it felt like the manager didn’t care at all about the service. I had complained before about their service, but nothing changed. I don’t think what the girl think of herself who was working at window around 9:45 Yesterday. At one point, the girl even called the kitchen staff to deliver my food, which was just unprofessional. I’ve had much better experiences at another location, so I won’t be returning here again. If you’re looking for good customer service, I recommend going to the other location instead. The Manager really needs to work on that.
*Disappointing Experience at A&W Drive-Thru* I visited the A&W drive-thru tonight at 8:40 PM, excited for a quick bite. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor customer service. After ordering my burger, the server handed over my order with unacceptable rudeness. The lack of courtesy and warmth was surprising, especially from a brand that prides itself on friendly service. Food quality was okay, but the unpleasant interaction left a sour taste. *Rating:* 2/5 stars *Feedback:* A&W, please emphasize customer service training for your staff. A smile and kindness go a long way in making customers feel valued.
Just a quick snack in morning after X-rays across the street. Staff really kind, even commenting on my earrings. Food great and very clean. One thing that I really didn’t like was cold air being blown. Personal preference. Nice that they always have nice comments on their take out cups.
my first and last time coming to this location. celiacs beware. i only like eating at a&w because they have really good lettuce wraps for us folks who can’t eat gluten. never again here, almost sent me to the hospital. i first went through the drive thru and ordered a papa burger no cheese and a beyond papa no cheese lettuce wrapped. received the burgers and they both had cheese on them. went inside to have our burgers remade and to get a refund since it is an extra charge for cheese that we didn’t order. once they remade the burgers i noticed my burger was placed in the chute but didn’t have a lettuce wrap but a regular bun. once the lady on the counter noticed it had a bun when she went to start packing my order, she handed it back to the kitchen to have them lettuce wrap it. when a mistake like this happens where the kitchen accidentally puts a lettuce wrapped burger on a bun instead, they are supposed to check with the customer if it’s a preference or an allergy to know if it’s safe to just remove the bun or if they have to remake the whole burger. i’m so glad i went inside to have my burger remade because i watched them just remove the bun from the burger and put it on the lettuce wrap without asking me first. i had to go up to the counter and explain i need a whole new burger again since it touched the bun. i am celiac and i could be sent to the hospital if i had consumed it. the workers in the kitchen were pissed, but maybe make the burger right in the first place and follow company standards. the only positive experience was the young lady working the front counter who issued our refund and helped with the whole situation. i have worked at an a&w for years in my home town so i know how things are supposed to run.
When you order just ketchup and cheese, make sure to tell them you still want the bacon the burger comes with. They're too stupid to understand that, and wont put it on. Won't be back here anytime soon.
An employee came out from behind the kitchen area and cleaned off and wiped all the tables, I was shocked. Good you! The beef patties are still the same size which was nice to see. Not shrunken down like the restaurant with the golden arches.
Fresh and reasonable wait times, plus mozza burger slaps, and so do the wraps! It's getting pricey( even more pricey now) but like it's the most fresh fast food you can buy in the area.

Breathe of fresh air compared to McDonalds or Wendys around here. Staff are polite and prompt. Restaurant is clean. Food taste great. My 7 year old commented our new favorite restaurant. Bravo.

The dryer in the sink scared my grandson. I have never seen that setup before. Very loud and unexpected

Quick bathroom and coffee break on our road trip. Always consistently great staff and food/drink. Parking: Never had an issue parking right away, even when theyre very busy.

My burger and fries luke warm at best, My mothers chicken burger and fries were luke warm at best as well. I watched the cook have our food ready in one minute as it had been obviously been sitting there for sometime. :(
Enjoyed a great, affordable breakfast with my parents who are visiting from Mexico. Good coffee, warm food, friendly staff and a clean restaurant!

I just had a wonderful experience at the East River Rd A&W. The staff were so kind and quick and the service was just amazing. The food was great as always but the two folks working today were just fantastic. They helped me make a decision, delivered the meal to the table (and out to cars in the rain), and the place was spotless.
Great place to eat run by great people. Having milkshakes available again after years of absence at the Stellarton location is nice. Outdoor seating is a cool touch too.
There was no toilet paper in the ladies washroom.
Ordered chicken strips, the lady didn t ask what dipping sauce and assumes sweet & sour. Once I noticed it on the screen i said with honey mustard please she didn t change it and i got sweet & sours. Im at work now and can t even enjoy my food because i do not like sweet & sour. Poor customer service smh.
Love the breakfast
Might be fresh and hot... but 3 things wrong in one order. Coke was an ice tea... plain baby burger had onions and mayo... and specifically asked for ketchup in the bag... got none.
This place is trash compared to the one in stellarton every time I got food here it has been terrible this morning I got a breakfast sandwich that was literally dripping with grease and had one piece of bacon that was extremely undercooked had to just toss it

when it first opened a few months ago (New Glasgow) it was good unfortunately my recent last two visits both breakfast and lunch the food was grossly undercooked not sure what happened a new cook perhaps but I wont be back
I got a cold hash brown this time I had breakfast but last time I ordered 2 burgers and only received 1 for the price of 2 but never got a receipt for them the A&W I went to was beside needs and the church
What can I say, I love A&W onion rings. My only issue is the seasoning salt.. its not necessary or should be optional. The bag of rings I received on this visit was piping hot (nice) but the seasoning was bunched together on the rings. One bite, perfectly crispy breading and sweet onion joy. The next bite was SALT. You can imagine it was unpleasant. Honestly, wholl miss the seasoning salt if you dont put it on the rings
Love there food drinks need ice tho and bring back rootbeer with caffeine. Aside from that there new hotdogs are great and need to be a full time menu item. but not 8$great cut the price in half even and thats too much. Also what happend to the eggs and bacon or baloney plate its just gone all thst are left are sandwiches. Im sure I speak for everyone when I say Im sick of nothing but sandwich options at fast food places. Shake it up guys <3 the food.

I always do drive through. My business frequents the area. This particular location is my go to for a quick good snack. Teen burger all the way. The quality it top. I barely consider them fast food. Staff is friendly and sharp. Quick workers too. Definitely better than certain, arches rivals
