Loved trying this unique style of pizza! Combo slices were delicious. :)

First off they make you pay a merchant fee. Their pizza sauce is watery and runny when you can find it on your pizza. The attitude of the lady behind the counter was unacceptable. When advised that customers shouldn t be paying merchant fees, and we advised we wouldn t be back and that we didn t live in the area response was even better . Obviously the girl behind the counter doesn t have any people skills to know when to keep her mouth shut. But it doesn t matter where I live, I won t be going to anyone of their locations again due to multiple concerns with their business. The food is not great either.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and amazing smokey flavour of this pizza. Will definitely be back for more.

On the 8th day God created Acropole pizza and then he rested. Or at least I think thats how it goes. If anything its the best pizza spot in New Glasgow, top tier pizza, and one of the better donair poutines.

Brown sauce, brother pepperoni, slabs of roni or combo ready at the counter. Acropole is a cornerstone of New Glasgow. If youre going to Sams youre doing it wrong.

Pizza had far too much cheese. Dough was too thick and undercooked, cheese helped make this worse. Looked possibly like thin salami was used instead of pepperoni. Undercooked, chewy, and heavy. Pepperoni was raw and complete uncooked, as it was buried under cheese. Sauce was brown and lacked any tomato flavour. This was my second time ordering from here, same thing last time.

Good greasy pizza when you need it to hit the spot. More cheese than you need ( thats a good thing).

I was there once before just after9/11 This time, I had my first Donaire. It was delicious. I had a Supreme wrapped to go, and it was delicious hours later. I dont know if I will ever make it back to New Glasgow, but Acropole WILL be one of my stops. Food

Acropole Pizza in New Glasgow is the best! The staff are friendly, washrooms are the cleanest, and the brown sauce pizza is delicious. Today was our first visit and we re so glad we stopped in for lunch. Highly recommend Acropole!

Great place to eat

I just want to thank the very kind lady who served us at 8:56PM when the shopped closed at 9PM with zero hesitation - we had just arrived from PEI and it s our first night in New Glasgow and we were told no elsewhere it was a blessing in disguise because we ordered the small donate and let me tell you it was HUGE, it tasted HEAVENLY, the amount of deliciously spiced and cooked meat to perfection was like a mountain, the bread was toasted to perfection. Honestly, I heard that donairs were a must in Nova Scotia (first time here) and I was so impressed - but now seeing your reviews here I can tell I stumbled upon something special! Thank you

First time trying this place and Im delighted!! Delicious garlic fingers. The perfect amount of garlic butter and cheese, cooked to perfection! Service was fast and friendly and reasonably priced!

Ive been to Westville Acropole & New Glasgow, they serve theee best donairs in Canada.( Ive been across Canada numerous times and have had donairs but not as good as this place) Their Donair poutine is to die for!!!! Spot on Acropole!!!!

Ive been waiting since 2017 to have this pizzaCame all the way from Ontario completely worth the wait absolutely amazing Pizza five stars all the way fantastic service it was absolutely mouth-watering.

The pizza we ordered was sliding off the crust because there was too much sauce. When we pointed this out , they told that it is because the pizza was hot. The pizza was delicious though !

Fabulous donair

We were told to try a Donair while in Nova Scotia. A friend who used to live in New Glasgow said to go to Acropole. And wow!! Never had them before but they were fabulous. We just ordered the Small size. You would never know they were stuffed. Tons of beef. Hard to hold and could use a bib to catch the sauce. And our friend said its the sauce that distinguishes a good Donair from an imitation. Acropolis does the sauce right. Perfect! Highly recommended but be sure youre hungry.

Please bring arcopole to Antigonish, the pizza around here is absolutely horrible, I debate on driving there most days jus to get a hot slice, unlike the abomination they sell here

Great Pictou County style pizza. Lots of cheese, zesty brown sauce, and delicious, smoky Brothers pepperoni with just the right amount of spice.

We have had donairs from everywhere but since moving to New Glasgow and having donairs from Acropole tonight we are so impressed at the flavor, quality of ingredients, portion, and the wrap was unlike all others and toasted beautifully

At one point, this location had amazing pizza. But, now, the quality had gone down. The pizza lacks flavour. The sauce is not as spicy and does not taste the same. So disappointed

Very sad when you order a chicken burger with the works plus pickles and you dont get half of that on there. Got told I could drive in and get pickles added (this was a delivery order since we dont drive) or take a pickle credit. Not very good customer service, other take outs wouldnt ask for someone to come in to get their delivery order corrected. Second time this has happened.

Highly recommended this sought after pizza in New Glasgow although there are other location the best of all are the OG New Glasgow location. They will partially cook them for you to take home and cook yourself if you dont live close. Think about how awesome that would be mmmmm

Food is good kind of irks me with the hustle of a no tap debit machine and prompting you to tip for picking up your food .

Best poutine

Took over an hour to deliver the food to my house which is a 10 minute walk away. And to top it off they forgot to bring me my pop that I ordered and paid for. They said they would be right back with it but they never were.

My stuff was burnt and then they got upset with me because they hung up on me because a manager wasnt there. Morgan wasnt polite.
