Pizza Delight in New Glasgow

We went there so many times all the employees are really great they treated us so well.But yesterday we went there for my frend birthday treat it was really bad experience with customer service. The manager she was a lady i dont know her name there was serving us she was so rude with us she wasn t give us time to decide she was rushing us every time we ask for something she wasnt give answering very rudely .She was so bad in customer service she spoil our mood .I never want to go back if she will be serving the guest.

Ian is always amazing and takes the times to stop by and chat even if he isnt serving our table

Fantastic service. Ordered takeout and they brought it out to the car while I was waiting for the pickup time to come around.

We ordered take out, price is was in line, pizza was good and ready when we arrived. We were visiting in town but would go back for sure!

I ordered DoorDash from Pizza delight as I was working and unable to leave work to get any food I was extremely disappointed in the food I got. My Caesar salad came with no dressing as well at I ordered another sauce that did not come. My order was not put in any type of bag and came with no utensils or napkins. I paid an extra $1.25 to have a certain topping and also did not receive that. I guess that was my mistake ordering from pizza delight especially having bad experiences in the past.

Great restaurant low grade pizza, Bologna sauce does not compare to genuine tomato sauce and paste. Good try!

food is gross..waited for ever services us cold food . 1/10 never coming back to here to eat.

We were very disappointed in our waiter , who seemed to forget we were there . 3 tables that came in after us were given their food before us ! It was hard on our grandson

Solid food, you know what youre getting when you go, okay prices, and some decent deals. Usually not busy so decent times for service. I seriously dont know how this place is never busy, its an actual solid place in New Glasgow.

Ownership has changed constantly over the last 11 years and so has the quality of service and food. Like many restaurants theyve taken a hit from the pandemic that they are struggling to recover from. I hope things continue to improve as Ive always liked Pizza Delight. Still one of the best places to go for food value vs. what you pay. Update 2024: Ownership has changed once again and prices have increased too. We dined in and were suprised at how much it was for 3 people. We like the food but will only do take out with the advertised family deals.

Have not been here for awhile as we live an hour away but the trip was worth it. The food was fresh and delicious. Light instrumental music playing lightly in the background. Will definitely recommend!

Unfortunately, I only stopped in to pick up gift certificates for Christmas, BUT we have been here before, and all has been great . Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to have to use, we live only 30 minutes from the Antigonish but I cant use stairs, so this leaves us having to travel 1 hr. To the next store which is wheelchair accessible. We normally would go to Pizzas Delight on a monthly or bi-monthly visit.

Food is very basic. Service was very good.

Amazing pizza, welcoming staff.

Crust was ok, with some softness underneath near the middle of the pie. Nothing too fancy about the toppings. For some reason they placed the extra sauce I ordered right on top of the garlic fingers Things went downhill once we tried the sauce - It was like watered down ketchup with spices (Not trying to be rude .I know pizza sauce though!).

Service was a little too slow but food was good.

We dropped in to Pizza Delight on a sunday evening - we were a group of 9 . We were greeted as soon as we walked in and asked if they could accomodate us and told immediately yes but he had to warn us it was only his 3rd day on the job. We promised to be kind. This same member of staff was also our server and he did well , considering we were a fairly big , walkin group and wanting 5 separate bills . And he served us all by himself with virtually no help from other staff members. We enjoyed our meals and hope that we did not scare him away from the job~

$14 an hour for a cook in this economy? Id have to live in the parking lot to make that work! You literally sell food, thats the business you are running. If thats all youre willing to invest in the person who makes your product...the reviews make sense.

I got the pizza on time, the person that took my order was very polite...BUT....when I got home and opened the lid...wow!! You talk about an over cooked pizza!! Nasty!!

We sat down for lunch. Food was delicious but service was slow. One of their male servers had longish hair and constantly was running his hands through his hair. When handling customer food it doesnt look very appetizing when the workers are constantly touching their hair and face . Also instead of waiting on tables in the middle of the service he was constantly leaving the kitchen eating. Was not very appropriate for a lunch time service. Also there was no music on and you could hear all the conversations and the atmosphere was not very inviting. Much different experience than our previous visit there.

Ordered pick up. They didnt have any of the 21 left, but they gave us two sized pizzas to make up for it at the same price. Very friendly lady on the phone. Inside was clean and very inviting. Guy who took payment was polite and friendly. Pizzas were great, nice change from our regular Pictou county style pizza. All in all would order from pizza delight again and would definitely recommend. Will sit in next time we are able.

We were in New Glasgow for the recent curling event and decided to go to Pizza Delight. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, and the service was even better. Thanks for the hospitality.

Incredibly long wait times. 25 minutes to take our order even though there was only 4 other tables at the time. Was given the wrong plates after we finally got our food. Once we were done it was another half hour before the check was given without asking if we would like anything else or if we were done. When the kids did get dessert. Asked for a chocolate eruption but received the penut butter cheesecake. The bill was compleatly wrong charging us for free kids meals. Used to only have good things to say about this location. But not tonight.

One star because the waitress was vary nice But the food was cold and a vary long wait time for a restaurant that wasn t busy at all. Thought I would go out for my birthday to grab a bite to eat and I take a nice bite of cold food. The waitress goes out back she comes back and says she put it in the microwave? Like okay so I m paying for a microwave dinner I could have went to super store for that.. everyone at my table had cold soggy food. Wouldn t recommend.

Once again I ordered a large combination extra sauce pepperoni and extra cheese and paid for it and when I got home a pepperoni with no extra anything I am dune with pizza delight

Waitress was absolutely wonderful, food was great and the kitchen went above and beyond to fix a small issue that they noticed before it came out to the table.

East River Rd., New Glasgow, Nova Scotia location. My wife and I went there for lunch and were very disappointed. The server was very friendly and attentive, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean, but the food was terrible. We got chicken naan sandwiches that were soggy and sloppily made, my side of fries were not cooked/extremely soggy, and my wifes salad was soggy/had stale croutons like it had been made the day before. For over 30$ it was a terrible lunch. The place only had 3 other tables being served at the time, not like they were swamped. I would not recommend, take your hard earned money elsewhere.

The wait for our food was a long one, which we expected as there was only one server working. This would have been okay if the food had been good. The lasagna was still cold and one person waited so long that he had to get it as take out because everyone else had finished eating and he still didnt have his meal. It wasnt worth the price we paid and we will not be going back again.

Edit..... Owner stepped up and corrected the issue. The below stands, but at least the owner made it right. I have since returned. I ordered the big crave. It was brought to me by another waitress who wasnt the girl who took our order. We sat and waited for plates. They never came. So we ate it off the aluminum/tin pan with our knifes and forks. Not once did our waitress check in with us. Ran out of drinks half way through the meal. Our waitress was at the table just over from us 7. Yes 7 times. Even when we were finished our meal it was almost 15mins before she came to get our dishes (which was just a pan because we had no plates. I asked for another drink. 10mins later she came with the bill and no drink. We werent even asked if we wanted dessert. The wife and I will not be back here. Its a shame because the big crave was quite good. Despite having no plates.

Everything was great

Terrible because my kids used to enjoy this place! We were in one evening food was alright but the waitress was more interested in chatting with her friends that were at another table. We were not given condiments or asked howthe meal was, after 45 minutes I had to ask for the bill which totally ticked her off and gave us attitude and sighs. My kids then asked to try it again so we tried again . This time we couldnt even get seated. Everyone must have been on break because no one came out to seat us. We waited near 10 minutes before we choose to leave and go to the EAST SIDE DRIVE IN where we had Great Service and a lovely meal. Thanks Pizza Delight!

I love this place! Children got free meals during March Break and every Tuesday! What a great deal for family! They have amazing pizza deals as well, and theres an option to put mozarella cheese inside the crust too! Woohoo!

We have usually had a good meal here. But this time was terrible. Our server got the meal order wrong, 1 person had to wait 15 mins for their meal, she burnt the dessert and had to redo it, she never offered us drinks, forgot to bring salad dressing and we had to get another waitress to bring us water. The bill was wrong and it took 2 hours and 10 minutes to leave. Next time will be cheaper and easier because we will go to the grocery store, buy the ingredients and make it ourselves.

Very large group for my daughters 19th birthday. Brett ,our server was exceptionally patient as you all know theres those difficult family members that make our job trying at times. Lol The food was great, everyone was happy even with a few having to wait. That is expected when you are last minute at making reservations. My daughter really enjoyed her special day and I appreciate Brett even noticing that she left a birthday card behind. Great job Pizza Delight!! Food was ok, service made up for it.

We were in tonight 11/13/2020. Was a pretty long day and just wanted to eat some food and have a beer. The two staff working the front were absolutely awesome. The guys name was Brett (we had similar tattoos on our arms which gave me a good laugh). He was our server. I had some trouble with the menu because Ive never eaten here before and he helped me make a decision. I didnt catch the girls name but she had colorful hair and was super nice to. Over all I had a great time the food was good but the service was the part that Ill remember.

Pizza was not as good as I remembered

Atrocious customer service when placing an order for delivery. Be prepared to double the wait time you re told and expect to be missing 1 out of 3 items. Then expect to be told they will put you in the book for a free replacement even though you were charged and paid for it. I m being generous with the one star rating.

Ordered the chicken parmesan, it was served a little cold but the waiter heated it up no problem.

Wanted to try the restaurant since it was supposedly better. Most of the pizzas in the buffet were donair. The pasta choices were dry and had been sitting there for a while. All in all, not really worth the price for the buffet.

Me and my family just recently ate there. The Donair sauce they gave us was like water, the salad my wife got had soggy bread for croutons, burned bacon and so much sauce on it that it was just gross.

Food was excellent and the service was great as well. A great spot to meet with friends, family or even for a business meeting.

Went to this restaurant with family for the very first time and I can easily say 2 things - it will be for the last and hands down, one of the worsts In dining experience ever. Had to wait 45 mins to get the order & no it wasnt busy, there were may be 2-3 tables with a couple of people at each table (all we ordered was an appetizer & 2 dinner dish) when I went to check up on the order post the 45 mins, couldnt find anyone so hung around the front of the counter & saw the server coming out of the kitchen talking on the phone so I got the hand signals & finally she said she will have someone else run the food out to us because she was busy fixing a problem with the debit machine. 5 mins later the cook comes out with 2 orders of food (the appetizer & 1 dinner dish) only for us to taste & find out that it was cold & full of grease, rice was stuck together & turned soggy & into lumpy balls, chicken skillet was not sizzling hot like its supposed to be & overly sweet & didnt have the tossed sauce we asked for. When we told the cook about all that he said he will bring fresh plate of appetizer, little did we know, other than the garlic breads everything else on the appetizer plate was reheated & of course overcooked even burnt. For apology, we got excuses that there was only 1 server and 1 cook running the restaurant. We couldnt even finish one full portion/plate of food, just Tried bits & pieces. Paid for the food in full. It was already too late to go eat somewhere else. Anyway, thanks but no thanks!

We went as a family on labor Day. Im thankful however should have been closed, or the owner present! Theres five of us, two with celiacs (gluten bad). I ordered a coffee and a water, they forgot cream and sugar, I reminded our waiter who brought those but no spoon. The gf garlic fingers were greasy, but edible. The seafood pizza I ordered was undercooked in the middle, the presentation was just nasty, they shred all of the ingredients and serve it like kind of a chowder on pizza! I would expect at that price point the seafood to be clearly visible and identifiable. The kids cat pizza was cute and good for the kids. I wouldnt recommend this place

The food was quite good although it seemed a little slow in coming. Overall it was a good experience.

Toppings were sparse, sauce was just a color change on the crust. Thinly applied and ketchup tasting. No parmesan on the tables. Server was very nice and friendly.

Ordered 2 pizzas and a garlic fingers. 1 pizza was cheese and pepperoni and the other one was the works. Ended up with a vegie pizza instead of the works.
