We are Canadian Chinese restaurant local at Cavendish PEI
Ordered something with Beef and got chicken balls and didn't want rice but still got rice. Probably won't come again.
We really enjoyed! Our waiter was so friendly and accommodating.
Wonderful meal, dinner combo 3 with wonton soup, beef and broccoli, chicken pork shrimp chow mein, sweet and sour chicken balls and fried rice. All hot, nothing over spiced, all delicious!!!! My wife got turkey club and fries really good too.
We came to PEI on holidays and decided to stop here for dinner. Everything was excellent: the food, the service (right from the reception), and the place was very clean. It was an experience we'd like to have again
I had the chicken chop Suey and 3 egg rolls and it was pretty good. The only thing I wish they had was Siracha sauce to give it some spiciness. Overall I was satisfied and would go back again!
If you're looking for classic Canadian-Chinese food in Cavendish, this is the place to go. I wanted a break from all the seafood I was eating and was pleasantly suprised to find how good this place is. Food is tasty, portions are pretty big and reasonably priced. The service staff is friendly and attentive. I had the chicken balls, beef and broccoli, fried rice and chop suey. So good that I ate the leftovers on the beach the next day! Will be returning next summer for more.
Love the food here! Veggies with chicken & chicken balls were soo good. No issues besides the fact that we got some pretty cartilage filled ribs. Might have just been bad luck though!
Food was excellent!! Service was excellent!! Daughter loves the new egg rolls! We come once sometimes twice a week. Wong tong was excellent! Won’t let me make another review! We had supper aug 12. And still enjoy going! Beef and broccoli is to die for!! The best I’ve had!! Lemon chicken is great! The staff members are excellent! Very friendly! We make or try to make it our weekly dine out.

Good food
Worst customer service I ever experienced . I have to wait for a hour for food and food was went cold.
Hesitant to try this place at first but it turned out to be excellent, not overcooked and quality food. Recommend if looking for Canadian Chinese food.
Pricey and you don t get a lot of food. Didn t have much flavour either
Theres something for everyone. As a tourist trap, its overpriced, but thats to be expected. We frequented it on our trip and spent some money for souvenirs and gifts.
The sandwiches were fine but when I asked if there was msg in their chinese dishes the server couldnt answer. You need an allergy guide for people. The place was not very clean either.
Not the greatest. Not the worst. Young girl taking orders was an absolute ray of sunshine.
The food is extremely basic. Noodles were forgotten in my chow mein (just bean sprouts, veg, which is tasty but...), no egg rolls. The brocolli beef was good, again, it was basic but good. You can go ahead and skip this one. Food
Everything was cooked to perfection, the way Chinese food should be done. Definitely would recommend!
Really good, yum
Great experience
Food was excellent!! Service was excellent ! Will def be back before the end of the season !
Since the owner changed, this place turn into the best Chinese food in Cavendish. My family love to try different Chinese food while we are traveling. This place is definitely one of the best. Simple, but delicious.
We visited green gable and dine in Boardwok I like this restaurant because of excellent service, and fresh great the food. My daughter loved egg rolls, fly noodle. She even told me that the vegetables was much better that what mom cooked.
New owners, new chefs, total turnaround. The food is our summertime favorite now, home made fresh and not greasy at all!!
Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a very warm and friendly face she was very kind and helpful. Her name was Alicia. The restaurant was very clean and tidy, the atmosphere but felt like home. Now for the food, excellent excellent excellent, very fresh very tasty and abundance, had to take extra leftovers home. The food was very delicious, I came with my three grannies, who agreed to food was very very good and the restaurant was very very clean, and the hostess was so sweet would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to find a good Chinese restaurant in the Cavendish area We were so impressed, that we asked to meet the owner. He came out and introduced himself as Pike and he was a young man with a big smile on his face he was so happy to hear that we were pleased with the restaurant and the food. I think this is gonna be my new favourite Chinese food restaurant to go to Thank you boardwok and especially ThankYou Pike and Alicia.Your friend a new customer Lisa with the pink hair from NorthRustico
Great food, friendly staff, very clean and reasonable prices ! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, we had curry and 3 different combos
really good noodle
Best Chinese food since George was at the Canton, lol islanders will know what I mean
Great Food, great people, great time!
My wife and I have eaten here twice In the last 2 weeks. The second time was take out and when I arrived the waitress immediately recognized me. (great way to feel appreciated). Our food was delicious. The food was fresh , no fat in the beef and broccoli , the chicken to breading ratio in the chicken balls was perfect (nothing worse then when its all breading). Best egg rolls ive had around the island. I highly recomend the boardwok !
The worst customer service disrespecting and insulting senior citizens I visited this place today with three seniors including a super senior. We ordered food and asked for either hot water or bottled water, and the lady said they have only tap water. With health conditions, my parents cannot drink tap water and explained them the same. I went and got bottled water from my truck for them to drink. At that point the food was just served. Seeing me getting water for elderly, the lady disallowed the water and she stopped my parents from drinking water from our water bottle. At this point we have to walk out of the restaurant as its impossible for the elderly to have food without water. I again tried to explain the lady about the health issues and she just refused them again. This was disrespectful, especially to the senior citizens, an act of poor hospitality. Sadly we left the place with empty stomach I will never go there again and strongly recommend the community to protest against the act Thanks for reading our experience Deep Rayaroth
Egg rolls and plum sauce taste amazing! Fried rice and noodles are delish too. Close to the beach, place is so clean and well maintained.
Nice people but the food this time around wasnt up to par. Maybe it was a off day because it was the last day of there season. My daughter and her boyfriend both had combo plates that were very dry and didnt have much seafood or meat on them. They are both not feeling well at the moment.
Any recent 5 star reviews must be fake. Please eat anywhere else. The sweet and sour sauce is easy to make at home at least. You can find the recipe in the book, If Chins Could Kill. The fake blood recipe in that book is what they use for the sauce.
Ok
Food was good, but service wasnt that great.
Food was burnt chicken balls were so hard you could throw them through a window
This place was much better than some of the ratings it was given. I think with the old owners it wasnt very good but with the new owners they are very sweet people and the food was great I thought. Eggrolls were good just not the usual PEI Chinese flavor. But give it a chance!
Waitress was very helpful and so polite!
It took more than 1 hour to make 1 clubhouse sandwich :(
Eggs rolls were ice cold, whole meal was under cooked, broccoli was pretty much raw, didnt have any french fries for fish and chips , so they subbed onion rings, then got served chicken and onion rings instead of fish, over all wont eat here again
Not the best Chinese food, but also not the worst. My kids loved the chicken fingers and fries though
