Tara was the server and she was very friendly, polite. The buffet was great along with the price.
Love the Ginger Beef and Egg Rolls. Wish it were on the all you can eat and buffet menus. Wonton Soup broth was slightly lacking but the wontons had superb Texture & Flavor. Service was friendly a fun environment. Atmosphere is modest & modern -love th Huge Trees & Art (the purple stairway could use some paint touch ups to complete the polished dining experience).

Wow who would have thought there could be great Chinese food in a spotlessly clean restaurant in New Glasgow. What a great random find. Singapore noodle and Korean fried chicken were both delicious and trust me I’m an expert when it comes to Asian food.
First time in this establishment. Review said best Chinese food in New Glasgow so thought we would put that to the test. Buffet started at 4pm we arrived shortly before. The variety of options were lovely and all items were extremely fresh. We really liked the idea of using the card at your table to order a few items not on the buffet but included in price. We want to come again with a group of us!!
Yummy food that hit the spot! The Special for 2 was perfect- we will definitely be back. Also, bonus points for the fortune cookies- 50% accuracy is pretty good 🤣
Great atmosphere! server was very well-mannered and patient, and the food was incredible. Highly recommend the number 7 special and egg rolls. The steak was the most tender I've ever had, and had incredible salt and pepper sauce covering the plate. 5 stars!

Unfortunately we used to only open on weekends. Update, unfortunately the buffet has become very poor and expensive. I wont come anymore. The wings didnt come until we were finished eating. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio doesnt fit here.

We got a table even though we didnt have a reservation and on mothers day. The waitress was very nice and the food was delicious. We had the smorgasbord
Food is always wonderful from Ming s, but it would be nice (especially on the weekend) to get a buffet for lunch. Was at the door today minutes before opening, very disappointed to not be able to get the buffet. You lost sales today.

Very Friendly. seated right away. Vegetarian options: We went in New Years Eve. Menu was limited. A Couple came in asked about vegetarian menu cause there was nothing listed. And they were able to get a vegetarian meal

Buffet $25 . The food is heavily deep fried/ greasy. Tastes good deep fried, food is sticky. The dessert is really tasty ! Brownie sundae and the strawberry shortcake pie are deadly ! The service is good, the buffet trough is not very big and feels like an old timer conga line sometimes, food empties out quickly and you can miss out on a couple things when you go up for more. The atmosphere could of used more artwork or funky stuff. Seemed like a giant living room. Overall a ok place to eat.

Mings is my favourite Chinese restaurant and has been since I was a kid. I try to go every time Im in the area. Their sweet and sour chicken is to die for, in my opinion!
Went on a whim, and had the korean inspired spicy fried chicken, and it was prepared exactly like i got in japan years ago. Wasnt too busy for a lunch time, art of the walls is cool, but could use some booth style seating, if i were to have any changes, but the food was fantastic and fast, ill be here again! Vegetarian options: options are marked right on the menu.
Got the Singapore noodles and egg roll. Was some of the best noodles Ive ever had! Also not super greasy and oily. Definitely would suggest getting Chinese food from this restaurant.

Excellent chicken with broccoli (and carrots). Large and plentiful chicken - most of any local Chinese restaurant I have tried in Pictou county. Cannot wait to take my husband in for the buffet!

Ordered lv 5 curried chicken was not spicy at all, my sons lv 3 was spicier, ordered wonton soup was very flavorless like no salt was used, wonton had an odd flavor than usual, and all portions were about half of what you get at other Chinese places and prices are higher, was expecting more but was disappointed

Decent food at a decent price. The buffet is small but the food is decent. There are more dishes available you just have to fill out a little sheet and it gets cooked and brought to your table. Parking: Weve been lucky every time but I could see it being a problem if youre not at right place, right time kind of thing.

Had smorgasbord it was awesome ....you got to pick what you wanted first round then when u were done you could pick more ...that was way better they did just for you and it was fast and hot best way ever. Who thought of that good job.
New to the area. I was told to try Mings for Chinese food and we ordered the Fancy dinner.. wow. We were both very happy with the food, taste, quality of the food. Will 110% be ordering again. Also the lady who answered and served us our curb side pick up was super friendly and kind. 10/10 recommendation

Came in for lunch with my family had the feed 4 meal. With an add on of honey garlic spare ribs. Around $18/person with food to take home. Great food service. Great food

Mines was amazing!!! I went with my family tonight and the dining room was spread out nicely to follow the health protocols and everyone not at a table was wearing masks. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They changed their procedure for the buffet and were very receptive to the questions we had about it. The food was delicious!!! When we ordered the buffet and made our selections everything came out to the table in their own dish for us to serve ourselves. The only complaint I had was the door slamming loudly whenever the staff had to take the food out to the curbside pick up spots.

Locals are pumped this place opened back up after being closed for several years. The original Chinese food in Pictou County, it is famous for its buffet. The relaunched restaurant is focused on that, and is open Thursday through Sunday only. One of the best dining experiences in the area.
Service was quick, food was tasty and items were refilled often on the buffet tables. Dessert selection was plentiful and scrumptious!

No bad since it reopened. The wait times can be killer, so I would suggest getting there early before the long waits start. Buffet had a good selection and was kept full/fresh.

Had a fantastic lunch here today. I was nervous to eat in a restaurant as I havent since Covid. Mings was so clean, our server explained everything they are doing to keep their customers safe. They really go above and beyond. Not to mention the food was delicious and our server Andrew was one of the best Ive ever had, anywhere. Will definitely be back!
