Great new local restaurant, we ended up on weekends which they only do brunch buffet. For the price of 35$/head, not bad for a buffet. Cozy and good size interior. Very local design with lots of street parking around. I will come again to try their ala carte on weekdays. Go check them out

Very disappointing 1.5 visits. I won't recommend this resto to anyone, unless they improved their service. I say 1.5 visits because for my first visit, I went for lunch by myself and there was only the other group of 12. I was seated right away, and order was taken soon after. Food arrived 40 minutes later, and it was cold. Not even warm, but cold. I had the garlic rice and fish dish, so imagine eating that cold. I just had a few bites and packed the rest to eat at home. I decided to give them another chance for my next visit. It was only a .5 visit because I didn't get to sit down and eat at all. This was so awful that I left in disbelief. So I walk in with my husband and waited in line to be seated. The customer ahead of us was paying for her bill. Hostess saw us and acknowledged our arrival. After the bill was paid, the hostess kept on talking to them for almost 10 minutes (I heard all of the trivial conversation and it was all about knowing this person and that person and hostess telling them to return), to the point that the guest's companion interrupted their conversation and told the hostess that my husband and I have been waiting for almost 10 minutes to be seated. Unbelievable. Hostess then looked at us (didn't apologize for the unnecessary wait) and I simply said "table for 2 please". She poked her head through the bamboo curtain beside her, then came back out a minute later, and said that they're really busy tonight, had 2 big parties, had a party of 80 coming and all is reserved, but they do have a table of 5 free at the moment, but we would have to share it if other customers came in. Needless to say, we were both shocked and felt like they were literally choosing who to serve, and decided not to serve us, a party of 2. We obviously turned around and left. This experience ruined our evening. They could have told us this earlier as soon as we walked in. Instead they let us wait in line, seeing that we're a party of 2. It looked like they would rather offer the table for customers who are not there, versus the ones who are there already. Bad service, bad food, and bad atmosphere. Not going back. Good luck.

I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While the presentation of the food was impressive, the flavor was lacking. The meat was bland and uninspired, and for $80 total ($40 per person) for a salad and two main dishes, I expected much better. The peanut sauce, which should have elevated the dish, was completely missing, leaving the flavors incomplete. The beef broth was the only highlight, but the beef itself was so rubbery it was hard to enjoy. This place has potential, but they seriously need to focus on enhancing their flavors. I’m all about supporting local businesses, but with prices like this, the food needs to be delivered. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning unless the quality improves to match the cost.

We visited this restaurant two weeks after it opened and ordered the Angus Beef Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, Sisig, Ensaladang Gulay, and DK Fried Rice. Here’s our experience: Angus Beef Kare-Kare: The beef was very tough—almost impossible to chew—and the portion was disappointingly small. Ensaladang Gulay: A simple dish of steamed or blanched vegetables. Nothing particularly special. Sisig: We got the appetizer portion, but unfortunately, it was underwhelming compared to authentic sisig from the Philippines. I’d rate it 2/5. Crispy Pata: This was okay. The skin was crispy, and some parts of the meat were juicy, but nothing standout. DK Fried Rice: It came in a small serving plate, with yellow-colored rice and extremely tiny "baby shrimps." The flavor was fine, but the portion size and shrimp quality need improvement. Service also left room for improvement. While the food arrived quickly, no one gave us dinner plates—we had to manage with side plates, which made eating a challenge. On the positive side, the place is spacious and cozy. However, the food portions, quality, and service need attention. I’ll give them another try in a few months to see if things improve.

Tried this restaurant for dinner. Spacious and clean but they could have played some pipe in music. Bulalo - it needs more flavor. The beef was tender enough, vegetables should have been cut smaller. Sisig - served on a hot plate but was not sizzling. Sisig could have been crispier. Turon - this was good. They can explore more flavors such as ube, macapuno, and langka. Steamed Rice - was too expensive at $4/order, for one person. The experience was just okay.

A new found treasure. The place is very inviting with a wonderful atmosphere. It would be advisable to make a reservation this early on as the popularity is through the roof. Food is exquisite and very reasonably priced. Filipino food at its best. Audrey, one of the owners, is a phenomenal host, 👏. A definite must try!

Everything was delicious and everything went well for opening day. The only Filipino food I’ve eaten in the past was the spring rolls and pork skewers so I was looking forward to trying these new dishes and wasn’t disappointed. I got the chance to meet the three lovely ladies that own the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back next weekend. 1: Lechon Belly $24.95 DK tender pork belly roll served with liver sauce and house vinegar 2: Angus Beef Kare-Kare $28.95 Traditional Filipino beef stew in peanut sauce, served with sautéed shrimp paste 3: DK fried rice with baby shrimp and vegetables $10.95 4: Lumpiang Shanghai $14.95 10 pcs Crispy fried minced pork and vegetable spring rolls served with sweet chilli sauce 5: Sari - Saring Tianapy $9.95 Assorted bread basket

Food is subpar; menu items are quite deceiving with items labelled as Pampanga cuisine. Food here does not taste Kapampangan at all. Please consider removing Pampanga in your menu. As a Kapampangan the food is really underwhelming. Live music was good, though.

I felt compelled to write this review after such a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite being advised by one of the owners to pre-order so we could be served quickly, we ended up waiting over 1.5 hours for our food. It was incredibly frustrating, especially since we had hoped to avoid a long wait by following her advice. When the food finally arrived, the portions were surprisingly small definitely not worth the wait or the price. To make matters worse, the staff kept on making excuses that they were busy because they had catering, but if that was the case, they shouldn t have taken our reservation at all. The situation was further aggravated by a loud birthday party in the restaurant, complete with a program that made it hard to enjoy our meal in peace. The noise was distracting not only for us but for other diners as well. Overall, this was a very underwhelming experience, and we won t be returning anytime soon.

If you are craving authentic Filipino food, Dine Kanadiyan is a must-visit! My family had the pleasure of dining here on their opening night and were impressed by the quality and presentation of the dishes. We started with lumpiang Shanghai followed by lechon kawali , kinilaw na tuna and kare kare, and ended our meal with a generously sized and delicious halo halo. The experience was so memorable that we returned a couple of weeks later with friends to explore more of their menu. This time, we had steamed veggie salad (ensaladang gulay) crispy pata, sisig, binagoongan, another round of kare kare and kinilaw na tuna . Each dish was flavorful and authentic. We ordered so much that we thought we d need takeout boxes but everything was so good, the five of us managed to finish it all! I can t wait to return and try their highly recommended weekend brunch buffet, featuring Filipino breakfast favorites like tapa, longganisa, tocino and more. If you re a fan of Filipino cuisine or just love trying something new, Dine Kanadiyan won t disappoint. Parking: Paid street parking and nearby parking options are easily accessible.

This newly opened Filipino cuisine restaurant had an authentic & welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was spacious with beautiful furnishings and great spaces for a private function, big or small. I believe the host mentioned 100 people. Great place for private parties! The menu had a nice variety of dishes, portion sizes were good for 2 to 3 people and very reasonably priced. The restaurant has live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Our group had Sisig Pork (appetizer size), Bulalo, Fried Bangus, DK Fried Rice and Pancit. Every dish were nicely presented and this place will surely be my go to Filipino restaurant. They offer a brunch buffet on the weekends and would love to come back and try this out. This has been the nicest Filipino restaurant I have been to in the lower mainland within the last 30 years! I will surely be back!

I was excited to try this restaurant with my friend so last saturday we went and ordered our dinner. At first everything was ok, atmosphere- great, live band - great but we ended up upset and hungry leaving this place. We waited from 630 pm to 8pm and only one dish and one rice and our drinks came. The rest of our food we waited for an hour and a half. We followed up three times and we were still calm about it. Its almost 8pm and we dont have the rest of our food, so we ended up cancelling the rest of our order and just paid for one dish and rice that came. I was trying to calm my friend as she was already super upset, the manager apologized but only offered dessert with all of what happened. I am not sure what happened there, I am thinking maybe because they are newly opened, still not that organized yet. I am not sure but IT IS A BAD EXPERIENCE for me and my friend. Hope they will be better next time so others wont experience what we had experienced.

Hoping to have more portions for ensaladang gulay. The fried rice is a little bland and the texture is so dry and not that much taste. On the other hand, Leche flan is superb. The atmosphere is great and feel like home.

Beautiful inside which gives you an authentic feeling of being in a local restaurant in Manila. We went on opening night and the place was busy. They did not have a liquor license at the time. There s live music on weekends and karaoke. Being Filipino myself I was excited to have a local ethnic restaurant in the area. The menu had good variety and had vegetarian indicated but no GF or other dietary indicators. We asked the server but he did not seem to know what GF was so I played it safe and just ordered food that normally would not have gluten if cooked the traditional way. The prices were reasonable for the portions served. Portion sizes are shareable between 2 or 3 people depending on how hungry you are. We ordered the Crispy Pata which was cooked to perfection and the best one I ve had so far. We also had the Beef Kare Kare which was very tender and tasty (wish it had more sauce to it). Food presentation was very appealing. We had Leche Flan for dessert which was rich and creamy and not overly sweet. Opening night has its start up problems and I m pretty sure that service will be smoother the next time. Hopefully the place will have their liquor license by then. I would surely return with friends and family. This could be my next go-to place for my Pinoy food cravings without having to leave New Westminster. This restaurant has an area for small private gatherings which could be reserved for parties or meetings. Congratulations and well done, Go Dine Kanadiyan! Good food, nice ambiance, nice people, love the weekend breakfast buffet Parking: Mall nearby, but you need to puchase something from the mall stores to park there for free. Beware if you park in the mall and walk out from there you might get a ticket.
