Super cute little restaurant with very filling food. The burgers were amazing and I loved the yam fries! Delicious apple pie milkshake too
The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent, but unfortunately, the burgers were not to my taste. It was the first time I found myself unable to finish a meal, which was disappointing. I genuinely tried to find something positive about the burger, but it just didn't work for me. It's unfortunate, especially since we had chosen this cafe to celebrate my fiancé's birthday.
An amazing little burger joint. The portions are definitely worth the price! I got the Insanity Burger and had to take half home. The only thing that could make this place perfect would be to serve Coca Cola. I will definitely be going here again for more insanity!!
A must If you are looking for a burger restaurant. To me, portions are big (I don't eat that much), but it is worth the price. You cam Pickle between salad or potato wedges. There's a shame and fame wall for all those who can eat an 8 patties high, 3 pounds burger (if you dare). Service was nice even though it took a little for our burgers to be served. Despite that, everything is delicious, but the place needs a little bit of an upgrade. We paid 60 dollars for 2 burgers and tips.
3rd visit, delicious burgers. I love the vintage vibe within the restaurant, with all the old photos, the history, customer napkin drawings pinned to the wall, and the sign on the wall about paying cash for businesses. I love their potatoes, their burgers are so juicy and their dips are the best.
Came here on a regular Sunday night, the shop is busy but we still managed to get a table right away. The atmosphere is quite cozy, the walls are decorated with photos of their patrons which makes it quite homey. The servers also seemed very down-to-earth and friendly, which definitely added to the whole homey vibe. We ordered the Insanity Burger and the Chicken Wings with Mango Habanero Sauce & Ranch dip to share between two people. At first glance the price seems a little steep for a burger, but the portion definitely justifies it. The Insanity was a huge burger with the buns substituted by a full grilled cheese sandwich. For a sense of scale, half a burger is way larger than a regular burger on its own. The burger itself was good. The grilled cheese was simple yet it is everything you expected - crispy bread, cheesy center, and the patty was done well, flavourful and juicy. With that said, I found the 4 layers of bread a little too much carb for the burger's proportion, so we ended up eating the top "bun" separately. Needless to say we were STUFFED after the meal. The wings are pretty standard, what you will expect at most pub-restaurants. The sauce is sweet and tangy with a bit of kick but not too special. Overall, a very decent place for some specialty gourmet burger. I would definitely be back to try the other burgers on the menu.
We got quite a few recommendations from people around and even google reviews were good. So we went here for the B’day celebration and ordered three Burgers and two free flow coffees. Nice ambiance, nice decor, loads of photo collages of previous customers, and we liked it. Hostess told us we have options for sides: Wedges, Salad, or Onion rings. She did not mention that Onion rings would come for extra price. This came as a shock to us when we saw the receipt later. Favorites of the day on the board were super expensive. Our burger plate looked beautiful. Crispy potato wedges, but they were cut a little too thick. So, that was a bummer. Burger patty was roasted well but it had that meat smell and also was bland with the meat’ish taste. Something has to be figured out that the patties are flavorful and doesn’t have that raw’ish meat taste & smell. We had to add more and more ketchup and sauce to make it flavorful. This experience did not match with the recommendations and hype we got about this restaurant before our first visit. Just to be clear, we have been to more than 15 countries and have tasted good burgers. We know how a good burger should taste like. If there’s a raw’ish meat smell and taste in the patty, then it needs improvement. I hope cooks will pay attention to this constructive feedback. Maybe we’ll return in the future, but not sure if we’d be willing to pay the high price. Our kids got candies while going out, so that was nice!
We showed up at noon and were greeted with a friendly smile and a "welcome, how are you 2 doing today. " We were seated and given menus, asked what we wanted to drink and left to figure out which yummy burger to eat. There are so many great ones, sometimes it is hard to decide. I ended up getting the Hawaiian burger w/wedges and the wife got the Greek God burger w/loaded wedges which has Cheese and bacon added. I also got the gravy that comes on a stand with a candle underneath to keep it warm. Great Food, Great Service and Great Atmosphere. I have been going there for about 35 years. Everyone should try this place at least once.
Ive been going to this burger joint for 40 years! The best burgers in New West! Friendly service!! Food : 5/5
Wish I could leave a food review, but after waiting for what seemed like an eternity for someone to take our order, in a mostly empty restaurant, we gave up and left.
Big and juicy Burgers. Everything was delicious and fresh. Feels like you go back in time when you go inside (1980s/1990s) which was awesome. If you crave a burger, give this a shot!
Fantastic burgers and staff! All the place needs is some A/C! But the bottomless drinks help with that. Food : 5/5
Good atmosphere for the whole family
Woow Its the first time in all the time Ive lived in Canada , I tried a very juicy burger
It has been quite a few years since I have been here. I used to go quite a bit when I worked in the area. Burgers here are great and I love the gravy that they keep warm with the candle. One of my favourite burger joints. I also love the nostalgic atmosphere of the restaurant and I am glad they have not updated it.
A New Westminster institution.
Place was great, and the atmosphere was nostalgic. Food was good and the service as well.
What a cute local place that you can tell has been around for a long long time! We were visiting from the USA. And we loved it. If youre new to Vancouver I recommend! A little hidden gem!
Such a comfortable and unique place, combining comfort food with gourmet-level production standards, topped with a totally warm, peaceful and cozy atmosphere. What a treasure of a place!
Super atmosphere
I have been visiting this place for over 10 years and they deliver every time. I highly recommend this joint. Always a great time for sure.
The food was good tasting, but not good value. Its extremely overpriced, even compared to todays high dining prices. This is a burger shop, theres no reason why 3 burgers and 3 drinks can be over $100.
I have been going here with my family for over 15 years regularly. We loved every thing about this restaurant: food, service and atmosphere. I went here for my birthday this year to find it filled with pride flags. I was extremely disappointed that they support such a degenerate movement.
Best burgers in town. Great service. I love the atmosphere.
Great food and service!
Solid burger place as always. I asked for jalepenos on my burger, and they gave me a proper amount.
They use real bacon : ) and the shakes . Get a shake! Great burgers all around though and lots of neat options.
Honestly I dont get the high reviews. The burgers were dry and had a very strange raw/gamey smell and taste. I couldnt finish mine. I thought it was just mine but my sons also had the same thing. The wedges were very dark brown and unseasoned (old grease?). Anywho, I give it two stars because at least the chicken wings were ok. Price was also way way way too high !!
Had a wonderful meal and great conversation here today. The food was delicious, good sized burgers and crisl fries. Our server Sarah was a star. We have ordered from here in the past on skip the dishes but will be making more of an effort to go in person in the future as the service and setting was so lovely.
Really enjoyed the food and the speed of service!
Best burgers in the lower mainland.
Very small. Tight. Packed. Slow service but very friendly staff. The place feels cluttered. I got food poisoning from the burger. Still tasted great though Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free buns. The beef is not gluten free. Parking: Parking available across the street near the English fish and chips place Wheelchair accessibility: It is not a wheelchair accessable place
What a charming little place. Full of fun ambiance giving the Dive feel but not in a bad way. One of those local haunts where you see pictures all over the walls. The food is spectacular, the burgers are a wow and have a wow factor. It doesnt matter what you order its all delicious. Large portions. Our server was very attentive and we got our meal in good time, no long wait as there wasnt a challenge burger happening during our visit. This place is a must visit and we will be back.
Dark and grungy. Expensive for the style of food.
The name is perfect...Theres no better way to describe this experience
Amazing burgers. Wow. We will be back !
Been going here since the 80s .a great spot!
Huge burger and supper nice drink
Nice & tasty strawberry lemonade. Good service. It was one of the worst overpriced burgers that Ive ever had. Dry meat that smells bad, a bun without any specific taste, everything is falling apart... Ive eaten burgers in a lot of places around the world, and it is hard for me to understand how this restaurant got such a high review score
Fantastic place well worth a visit. The clue is in the name! Thanks Caitlin.
Vegetarian options: Very tasty Greek Goddess burger Recommended dishes
Just walked by this place with the kid and gave it a try. Gave off 50s diner vibes. Really nice waitress. Burger was probably best I have had in 15 years. Beer was good too steel and oak. Well worth a try. Didnt try the boozy milkshake but sure wanted too...
I ordered two of the specials which was a classic burger and 2 sides. The sides were great we got onion rings, wedges and salad. The burgers on the other hand! I took one bite and gagged and had to spit it out. My husband did the same. They tasted like frozen beef patties absolutely disgusting and the bacon was very under cooked. I can not believe I just spent $63 I will absolutely never be back and high recommend not going here. Burgers are in the trash.
I would love to give the food 5 stars but the price vs portion equals 4 stars. delicious but takes a long time. Endless coffee if you can get your servers attention. Really tasty but busy
Deeeeeelcious! The Thai peanut burger was amazing.
Best burgers
I dont eat here. But Ive known this place for many years. These guys are well known for their burgers and beer. It is a tiny place, but adorable looking, gentle crowd and easy location. Parking is on front of the building, and its right across the Columbia Square in New Westminster.
Came in on a very busy Tuesday night. There was only 1 server (who had about 10 tables includes 2 parties of 8). She did an amazing job for how busy she was. The food did take a long time (maybe 45min from when we sat down to when we ate) but understandable given the circumstances. The burgers were amazing. I had the chicken cordon Bleu burger and my husband had the Hawaiian burger. Both were tasty, cooked well and full of flavor. I really liked the wedges as well. This is clearly an establishment with lots of old photos on the wall of people enjoying this place over the years. Great place to go for a night out when you want a great burger.
My coworker was there 20 years ago. He loved the place! He ate 2 awesome awesome burgers with the fries ...also a hulk burger and half the fries...he couldnt break the record at the time(even though our work company was paying for our lunch) I think the 5 double strawberry milkshakes had something to do with not breaking the record though lol...
Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. This little burger place formerly known as Burger haven is amazing! Their magic mushrooms are battered deep fried mushrooms and paired with their in house made honey mustard are to die for! The gluten free bun for my burger was fluffy and the best gluten free bun Ive had not super dry and dense like other places. Also the milkshakes are great and come in the classic metal cup which I love. They even make them boozy for an extra 3$.Im going back to this place soon and I recommend you give it a try if youre in the area!
Really good burgers!!
The #3 Burger was Excellent. I had it w a caesar salad. I was stuffed, but I still wanted another taste. So I asked for 1 beef patty grilled w nothing else. Less than $5 and they were happy to serve it up. Highly recommended !! Will defs come back again. Next time Ill try the beef dip. Excellent Service also. Parking: Free parking behind building
Words cant begin to describe how incredibly underwhelming the burger patty here is. Ive had far better burgers in random pubs. Ive even had better frozen burger patties prepared at home. The burger patty was overcooked, underseasoned, and extremely dry. The burger is meant to shine because of their abundance of toppings and a good amount of combinations to choose from. The problem is, theyre all $24 or higher. If you get their standard burger, its already $18+. And it doesnt come with a slice of processed cheese. Now, this is where I truly found out how incredibly overrated their burgers are... it was with this standard burger. With just lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and a tiny amount of mayo. It was so bland, boring, and once again, underseasoned, as dry as the desert, and overcooked. I also asked for mayo on the side with the fries and unbeknownst to me, this costs $0.75. This place is way too overpriced and if Im talking about price-to-quality ratio, this might actually be the worst burger Ive ever had in the Greater Vancouver Area. I will refrain from giving this a 1-star rating because the sides are decent, the milkshakes are super good, and the service was not bad at all. Ive been here twice and Ive had the same experience both times (with my 2nd time being far worse, having ordered the standard burger). I will never order a burger from here ever again, but I may return for a milkshake to-go. That is all.
Went here with really high expectations, and both me and my partner were shocked to be served completely unseasoned, undercooked hunks of meat. I guess the toppings are meant to hide the taste? I took a few bites and couldnt force myself to eat the rest. The taste was bad but the texture was pure mush. At that price point, I was expecting it would cover salt and pepper at least. They were also out of the sides we wanted to order. Not sure if we went on a night where the cooks had just completely given up or if people just actually want to eat bland, unseasoned hamburger with no char or sear.
Great place for a quick bite. Very friendly staff. Fantastic burgers.
Burger Heaven in New Westminster is a shrine to the classic burger joint, the kind of place that s become a rare find. Nestled at 77 10th Street, it exudes a casual charm that feels like a happy accident. This spot draws you in with its promise of a burger haven, featuring everything from buffalo and lamb to venison. It s a place where the regulars have stories to tell, their faces immortalized in faded photos on the walls. The menu, a testament to indulgence, boasts favorites like the Insanity Burger, Chicken Cordon Bleu Burger, and the Hulk Burger. For those seeking something different, there s the Perogy Burger and the Spicy Inferno Burger, a fiery creation with a cajun beef patty and habanero mango sauce. I decided to go with The Works Burger, a burger crowned with a substantial slice of cheddar, gooey mozzarella, a handful of sautéed mushrooms, two crispy strips of bacon, and a generous dollop of their special sauce. It s a solid burger, no doubt. But at $25, you start to wonder. Sure, it s good very good, even. But is it extraordinary? You could hit up Joey s, Earl s, or Romer s and find a similar offering for the same price, maybe less. Is Burger Heaven the best in a five-block radius? Absolutely. Will it blow your mind? Maybe not. But it s definitely worth a visit if you do not mined spending the cash. Vegetarian options: A few veg option Parking: Expensive city street parking Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access in and out
Poor service, got seated and than got ignored for 20 minutes wouldn t recommend going unless you just want to sit and wait
Great selection of burgers. Greek God burger Maybe Dionysus? Food : 5/5 |
Food was amazing and service was fast. Would recommend
No 4 burger is great ! Delicious.
Large portions! Fresh ingredients...wonderful service..very friendly
This place is consistently fantastic, the burgers are massive & the milk shakes are to die for. If you havent been to Burger Haven, get there today. Go hungry, Leave Happy Kid-friendliness: My daughter had chicken fingers, they are homemade. So incredible & delicious
Since becoming vegetarian, finding a truly mouth watering burger has been a challenge, but my quest has ended with this spectacular find. The spring mix salad paired perfectly with the honey mustard sauce, and the apple pie milkshake was absolutely fantastic! Thanks to Olivia s great help & superb suggestions on pretty much everything I was impressed, pleased, and stuffed! My only suggestion and the reason I gave 4 stars overall was due to the plants at the front burning on the neon light could be a potential fire hazard, and is also just so sad to see when you walk in, especially with the rest of the plant looking so healthy and lush. Vegetarian options: Greek Goddess burger is to die for!!
The food is incredible and so is the service!
The food and atmosphere was great. Long waits during peak hours but worth a bit of a wait
A little gem and time capsule. Food was great, but the service and hospitality is the highlight. It was a friendly and casual feeling where anyone can just take a break from life and enjoy a good burger.
My teen had a blast! Very cozy atmosphere. Felt like i was able to make a mess of my self and no one would judge me haha and I did!
Delicious gourmet burgers. Go early if you can, they get very busy and staff is light.
Best burger place around! Its been around for a long time, and theres a reason why!
Burgers would be better flame broiled, but their not. Still excellent though for gourmet burger joint.
The burger options were quite astounding with overall not bad prices. Would love to try the big burger they have one of these days but overall will visit here again.
Simple burgher place, real burghers, 50s vibe/ music.Fun
Best burgers and shakes..
First time I ve ever tried Burger Heaven, don t know how that can be when it s been around for so long. Burgers were delicious, liked the potato wedges as well. Gravy was just mediocre. Server was prompt and friendly, I ll be back. Parking: There are about five free parking spots in the parking lot, paid street parking.
Great burgers but the milkshakes are awesome
Mediocre food , service was great however pay almost 40$ for a burger and drink you would expect a high quality burger however it was just okay at best... white spot is better and thats not saying much.
Both burgers were unseasoned and dry. Barely any sauce to be found. Asked for additional condiments but by then food was cold.
The food was good and flavorful. Interesting atmosphere, interesting place. Was fun. Food
Went here for a burger of course, not only was the burger amazing so were the staff! I will definitely be back.
Best burgers in the Greater Vancouver area. Yummy old style milkshakes! Needs an updating of booths and flooring. Vegetarian options: There are a few options: Veg burger, grilled cheese .
Best burgers in New Westminster. Love the Greek God and Insanity Burger. want something other than a burger? The beef dip is also a great choice. Im not a huge fan of the fries and prefer substituting for onion rings. Also, the apple pie milkshake is incredible.
I ve been enjoying this place for 10 years and my visit last week was so great that I m leaving an updated review. Partner and I each had one of the weekly specials and they were both delicious, from the burger & sandwich to the salad, fries, gravy, and onion rings. Milkshakes and desserts also will not disappoint, although the meal portions don t always leave room for those! Friendly service, fun atmosphere, and definitely one of the top burgers in the entire lower mainland.
The waitress is very cold, not bad service, just cold service
5 of 5 One of the best burger in the city Great service with great food Food : 5/5
I had the beer battered fish burger and it was delicious! I love this place for it s big portion and honestly quality food
Although they are a little expensive you get what you pay for. Absolutely delicious food
Good burgers, but the quality of their fries stops me from coming more often. I like wedge fries, but these are lacking size consistency. Multiple times Ive received extra large wedges that just arent cooked through. I would love to love this place. Servers are really nice. In the summer they have a decent patio. Vegetarian options: Decent veggie burger
For the price I would have expected a much better experience. It was a Thurs afternoon and it was not busy. I sat down and she immediately asked what I wanted. When I asked for a moment, she seemed annoyed and walked away. After bringing our plates, she never came back. My husband had to go find her for a drink refill. She then proceeded to complain to the cook about making milkshakes (we could hear them talking from our table)....after we just ordered one, that SHE recommended! 85. for 2 burger, salads and a shake?! Definitely wont be back....which a shame because the Peanut Butter Thai burger was delicious!!
A hidden gem! The best!
Big portions and delicious
We had chocolate and strawberry milkshake after eating a burger. Although Im not a fan of milkshakes, it was not too sweet, and I can taste the blend of strawberries, milk, and chocolate.
I always love the vibe here!
My friend and I both got a burger with fries. The burgers were delicious and the fries weren t very salty; very tasty. The service was professional, friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody who is looking for an awesome burger joint in New West. This is the place to visit!
Been going to burger heaven for long time. Always had good experiences over the years. Good service.
Best burgers in new westminster
Always a great burger!
I wanna bring everyone I love to try the burgers here. next level. Unbelievable. Heavenly indeed
Food was delicious. Service was great. The restaurant was cute but a little bit cold. Lots of amazing burger choices and the sweet potato wedges were to die for!!
I went with a friend today for a late lunch. The place was kinda busy for them around that time, but it was good to have a nice meal. The server we had was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. My friend ordered the number 4 burger off of their top 10 list while I ordered the insanity burger, which, if you havent had it let is a burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches. I also ordered the apple pie milkshake while he got the red velvet milkshake. Overall, good burgers as per usual and great customer service. Will always be back as long as the place is open
Honestly its a no for me. They were friendly enough but the place looks poorly maintained but that might just be them aiming for a certain aesthetic (think run down 70s redneck burger joint) theres just a lot going on everywhere you look and nothing has seen paint probably since it opened. Then theres the food, first of all its expensive, but its New West and inflation so I didnt initially have an issue with that, but then I got my food. The bun was not good, just a bad texture, reminded me of buns youd get when your parents took you camping, but denser and less flavour. The patty was really loose and flavourless, I wanted the teriyaki mushroom burger but they were out of teriyaki so they suggested BBQ sauce instead, I said sure but was pretty disappointed, especially since based on the quality of the food that is just bottled teriyaki sauce from the store so its just bad kitchen management that they were out. Also BBQ sauce was a bad suggestion on their part, it just downed out what little flavor was actually there. House greens is a salad, idk I thought it was like broccoli and veggies and stuff but no, thats partly on me for assuming but also on them for not saying what such a generic term means in the menu. I got a Nutella shake, dont recommend, the Nutella forms globs in it that block the straw, its like its not blended enough or something but also idk how well Nutella blends in a milkshake but thats not my problem Im not the one making it, if it didnt work when they came up with it then it shouldnt be on the menu. All in all it seemed very home made and at $22 for just the burger plus tax and tip it better not taste like my dad made it (my dad is not a chef) tastes like homemade is not a compliment people! Its 3 stars because its not like it was bad I didnt get food poisoning, it isnt the worst food Ive ever had, but its no Bin4. Honestly its just not worth the time or money.
Great burgers Great place for families Food
The food were delicious. The staff is also friendly.
As wierd as it sounds, try thier Thai peanut burger with a bit of their strawberry vinaigrette. PB&J burger!
Fun place. Burgers are awesome.
Very good burgers. nice service.
Caitlins service was spectacular. Her upbeat and courteous attitude towards us, and others, was welcoming and made for an excellent experience. The food was excellent, and the milkshakes superb. We cant wait to come back to further explore the menu.
Mo, Monique, needs some help. Hire more staff. This poor girl was running around non stop trying to serve people, make milkshakes, bring out orders for Skip the Dishes...etc. Either cut off the skip the dishes orders on busy nights (which isnt going to happen) or hire more staff. I gave a 3 stars for service but it should be a 5 for all the work she was doing. The lack of staff was reflected in how long it took for us to get our meals and we felt bad even stopping her to ask for extra napkins. I must reiterate that I dont blame our one and only server, but management needs to rectify this. If I visit again Ill be sure to ask how many staff are on first. Jude and Chris...step up your game.
Probably the best burger place around
We have not been here in a long time. What fabulous service. Id go back just for that. I had chicken wings, big, fresh and spicy. SL had burger with bacon and cheese. She said good taste, but not her favourite type of bun for a burger.
This restaurant really amazed me. The burgers are so juicy and tasty , fries is sweet and crispy . The interior is unique and story fulfilled . The front page of it s website is just super simple and clear menu , my favorite menu now.
Great server. Awesome burgers. Really neat old school mom and pop burger shop. Definitely coming back.
Your old school retro burger joint. Good decent food and fantastic staff & service! Enjoyed my burger, but the kaiser bun just didnt work... the dryness took away from the burger. Well be back for sure! Food
Fantastic burgers, and you get your moneys worth for food IMO. HOWEVER, drinks like soda and coffee are criminally overpriced. Food : 5/5
Burgers and onion rings were great, buns did not fall apart, very busy place. Waitress was very friendly and worked her but off.
Decent service, half decent food. But this tipping culture is getting absurd. Tip option only allows 20% on their terminals so beware, even if you choose your own percentage, it takes you to a menu thats still a forced 20%, you cannot select or input anything else, very predatory and ridiculous. Due to this you are forced to only be able to select a dollar amount, which I reflected heavily in my tip because of such practice. Gross. Wont ever return to this place, a $25 burger is already an over reach. Do better.
Delicious, messy and really really filling! Cant give a better review for a burger place in my opinion! Do grab a milkshake (loved the apple pie) and bring friends to laugh with as you realise youve barely made any progress on the burger in the last 20 mins. Food
Good burgers and milkshakes
Great burgers. Its what they do.
I used to work at Splits and this place must have taken out the competition cus splits is only in whistler now. Second time eating there, and this pregnant girl was stoked that the special (bayou burger) comes with 2 sides so I didn t have to choose between salad or fries. Get the gravy! Comes with a tea light underneath so it keeps it warm through your whole meal. I usually don t like onion rings but they were great too! Kept wanting to give my man a bite of my burger to try but I couldn t put it down! We always go with a big group and every burger always looks amazing. Already eager to go back to try the perogi burger!
Best Burger in the GVRD , hands down. Went again last night for a meal with a crew of my best friends and had another amazing meal. Absolutely five stars , every burger left every one sitting around the table satisfied beyond our high expectations we walked in with. Unlike ALOT of gems around the GVRD that have been slipping from their grip on glory Burger heaven hasnt lost it.
I love you guys :)
Really good burgers, they do be a little pricey but I think its worth it for that you get
Not what it used to be. Ive been plenty of times over the last 30 years and it no longer lives up to my memory. Food portions are large, so value is still decent, but the overall quality of the burgers and shakes were just ok. Service was slow. There was barely anyone in the restaurant when we visited and it still took almost 15 minutes for a server to come take a drink order.
Amazing as always, only one server, but it was a quite afternoon, just after lunch and before dinner. I went for the special, backyard burger, was not disappointed at all. Great portions but tasty
such a good burger!! the ambience of the place is very nice too. love the service. the burgers are kinda pricy but the portion is quiet a bit & it has some unique flavors (I got the thai beef burger) very yum yum!
i am a regular now it s just that good
Great burgers. Good service.
Excellent food and awesome staff. Highly recommend.
Best burger in New Westminster
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice.
Amazing burger
Perhaps one of the best burger and fry combos Ive ever tried! I require a gluten-free bun, so Im delighted that Burger Heaven provides them. Milkshake was tasty too!
Must go-to spot for burger lovers.
Was so good I had the works and it was just the perfect amounts of mushrooms. was so juicy and filling
we had 4 kids total and the waitresses were great with them! food was good but cannot recommend the fish and chips.
Best burger in the lower mainland. Yum!
Awesome place, go and eat.
Closer to a 4.5 than a 4 star, the only reason they re not a 5 star is because of the price. It s hard for me to justify 25$ for a burger and fries, but it was a DELICIOUS burger. Like a perfect home/backyard BBQ burger, came with potatoes wedges which were also very tasty. Service was excellent as well, my waitress Sarah was very friendly and nice, the restaurant had a homey vibe and they had a GF bun option, too. If you want to treat yourself to a great burger I d recommend this place.
Burger Heaven is a quaint burger joint that prides itself in their delicious burgers. The place gives off retro vibes. I was a bit overwhelmed as their servings are quite big, and is ideal for sharing. These are not handheld.. Didn t get to take a picture but their milkshakes are diviiiine! It s the best I ve had so far. Service is great, too.
Burgers there are amazing. Theyre a lot larger than the photos present. Their milkshakes are well done as well.
A classic burger spot, some of the best burgers around. Food can come a little slowly when its busy but its worth the wait
Best burger in New Westminster, the portions are very big.
Great food and friendly staff, best burger I had in long time.
Amazing food, quality burgers and sandwiches. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks!
The burger was delicious and the server was friendly. The price is crazy cheap
The atmosphere is awesome, little retro spot with memories and little things to see at every corner Our waitress was so so nice and the food was UNREAL. Me and my buddy split an insanity burger and it tasted amazing. How one is supposed to eat that alone though I ve no clue Burgers awesome, service awesome, milkshakes awesome. My personal opinion is this may be the best burger spot in BC.
This is a older building which has some concerns with the ceiling above, the ceiling cleanliness comes into question. The service was good and our server was very friendly. The food was really good and plentiful. But to obtain that quality of food the price reflected it. It was my first time eating there, so my overall experience was good, but the cost would restrict me from eating there often. Parking: Parking is limited around the restaurant
Very good burger and the wedge fries are delicious
Got recommended by a coworker, so we ordered and wow, it is very good food, portion is big and delicious, we loved it. Absolutely will order from this restaurant more often. Thanks for the great food
Great burger! Love the ambience inside!
Pretty good. Burgers were great but they messed up 2 of our orders. They did take off a couple bucks off of our bill, but not enough in my opinion since we didnt end up eating our sides because of the mix up. Smores milkshake special and the strawberry lemonade were definitely highlights. Parking: Lots of spots and we didnt have to pay since we came after 8 pm
Very good burgers. Also available gluten-free. Cozy little place. Music that fits the mood. Dietary restrictions: There is a gluten-free option.
Old style small restaurant with good staff. Try, u will not regret.
Ordered the Chicken BLT and it was the most tasteless, bland, no seasoning chicken Ive ever eaten in my whole life. It didnt even have salt or pepper. I brought the issue with my waitress (she was very nice) and she said the owner doesnt season burgers or the chicken and this issue has been brought up before. Soup was very bland too. I am very very disappointed. Message to owner: we are no longer in the 1500s where spices were expensive. It doesnt cost much to revamp your menu and bring business back in and money in your pocket.
Husband and I came in previously and loved it and got a mountain of potato wedges. Ordered this time for To-go and got enough wedges for an infant. Major disappointment, was looking forward to them and now doesn t make it worth the price point.
Excellent place, delightful hamburgers. Recommend the bacon and cheddar hamburger.
Food and service were excellent! Not sure what they were going for in terms of atmosphere, but I loved the old timey music playing.
The place is falling apart, slightly overpriced, and the wait time to be served is just too long. This place is no longer what it used to be :(
Pretty solid all around joint! Cozy antique atmosphere and friendly staff. Burgers are very creative and taste great. If it was a bit cheaper I would come more often but pricing is understandable!
Kid-friendliness: We went to try the biggest hamburger and for me was too expensive 70 CAD and it wasnt a big deal. The taste was less that I was expecting.
Great food and great value. The house-made strawberry salad dressing is phenomenal!
The place is really cute! I love the Thai burger- it s the perfect mix between sweet and salty.
2nd time there and the burger was really good...will he back for sure.
It turned out better than what I expected and the staff was so kind and we enjoyed our food and time here.
Best burger Ive ever had. Honestly, one burger is enough for 2 people! Also the peanut butter milkshake was delicious! Food
One of the best burgers Ive had.
Wow! Burgers here leave me speechless must-try
A different kind of burger place serving different kinds of burgers. The kids and gluten free options arent great but the rest of the menu is solid, although if you want to see their drink menu youll need to go to their website. Nice, friendly staff
This used to be *the* spot 20 some years ago but their prices are getting to be kind of ridiculous for the quality of food we now get and the lack of a line up when we showed up and half empty restaurant backs that up. My hamburger patty was unseasoned and dry. The service was really slow (there were maybe five or six occupied tables here when we arrived and at least of them already had their meals), however the server was super nice. My husband likes going here and my friend who came with us has never been and he seemed pleased so its not like the food is trash or anything, but compared to how it used to be, theyre cutting corners and charging more for it.
Burgers are huge here. Very filling especially if you get the fries. The salad is decent portioned too. The poutine had abundant cheese curds that were melting. Took a while to get the food but the burgers were burgerlicious. There s a challenge where if you finish the 3 lb, 8 stacker burger you get your picture and time taken to finish posted on the wall.
