Always Love doing take out from here. Consistency is just what I need, I am never disappointed by their food. My favorites are the pumpkin cake and their BBQ Saba, it s delicious and so satisfying. Been a loyal customer, will always be!

This is my favourite sushi place! Its always fresh, hot, and delicious. The presentation is always amazing, their deluxe bento box is a great value and you get to choose the items. I order them from skipthedishes all the time. I crave it when Im at home in Langley.

Food was descent. Service staff are not welcoming, they dont talk and dont check on you after you order the food. I had to keep calling them for tea, menu, plates etc. After I paid the bill, they didnt even say thank you. Hope they improve on the above feedback!

Food was okay, service was really disappointing - they were rude, uninterested in serving and not welcoming. Prices high and charges a lot extra for spices like sauces. Small amount of ginger added compared to other establishments and at first refused and was mean to give out more ginger until I asked again for more ginger on the side.

Best sushi in the entire Lower Mainland, I cant find any better place that has good prices, good portions (especially per piece of sushi roll), great flavor, and overall amazing food with delicious ingredients.

The food is great. However, I have noticed that not every customer is treated the same. Even the delivery drivers are not treated the best. Some dont even get a reply after they greet or leave the restaurant. (Even if they say, Have a nice day)

I order for pickup and its always a good experience. Good prices and the ingredients are generously portioned. I especially like their salmon sashimi, its always fresh and delicious.

Most sushi places are super hit or miss and inconsistent, this is the only place that is consistent in its good quality. Prices are really fair for the portion sizes. I tried this place only a month ago and have already gone back and ordered on uber eats many many times. Definitely recommend!

Very poor customer service. She was so rude. Didn t expect this kind of behaviour on a Christmas day.

We found that the restaurant is better suited for take-out as the interior is in disrepair and there is a strong odor of an old building. This raised concerns about the upkeep of their kitchen and we were unsure of its cleanliness. The food is decent, although it is more like fast food sushi and the prices are very reasonable for that quality.

The reason why this place gets a 5 star from is the sushi and food it s always bang on! But the service is -1000 the servers are rude and literally try to make you order something you don t want.

Me and my roommates order takeout from Kojima almost weekly, I couldnt recommend them more... However the atmosphere of the restaurant itself? Quite unpleasant. And the couple times Ive dined in, the staff have seemed annoyed that Im there. Love their food though and will continue to order takeout. Dietary restrictions: My roommate is vegan and allergic to gluten and theyre always very accommodating and able to separate rolls to ensure no allergen contaminants

We ordered Party tray B from Kojima Sushi in New Westminster, using the Fantuan app. Our tray came with 57 pieces in it and consisted of the following: California roll, Avocado roll, Tuna roll, Smoked Salmon Dragon roll, Dynamite roll, Salmon roll, Spicy Tuna roll, Rainbow roll. The food was decent but not outstanding. Weve definitely had better sushi elsewhere. However, for about $40 it was a pretty good deal. If youre looking for decent, reasonably priced sushi then Kojima Sushi is worth considering. Great rolls and they have brown rice option. They do not skimp on the filling. Everyone of them are filled to the brim. I especially like the salmon roll because it has a lot of salmon filling. It is REALLY REALLY spicy though, one of the spiciest salmon rolls around.

I love this place

My family s go to for when we re craving a bento! The price is amazing and the food quality is great. The bento we order is combo a, comes with: udon, assorted tempura, and chicken or beef teriyaki. Their sashimi is really fresh so I recommend getting that too. We also order spicy agadashi tofu and chicken karaage on the side which are good/average. Parking: There s street parking right outside of the restaurant, but there s also a ton of parking around the area. There s a free few hours of street parking around the restaurant corner, there s also some parking lots near there for other stores. Parking is not a worry here.

I love crispy salmon avocado roll, chicken katsu and pork katsu and prawn tempura too.

Excellent food. Terrible service. Once you order your food and it s delivered, you ll never see your server again except when you pay.

Cashier not polite, abusive!

Have given this place a chance many many times, and 3 out of 4 times they have outright got my order wrong. Uber refuses to refund me because theyre unable to identify if its wrong or not, and when I call the store to bring it back and have it replaced, they say no. Imagine spending 50 bucks on sushi, getting the entire wrong order, and when you call the manager, they tell you its not their problem..... I hope this place goes out of business, they truly deserve it.

The front desk and waitress are always aggressive, unfriendly, rude and impatient. We did not feel welcomed and felt more like a burden. The waitress spent our entire time there on her phone after serving the food. Never once checked if we needed anything. Unprofessional we will not be coming back.

Definitely one of the best places for a good deal on sushi. Their combos are priced great for the quality of food. I always call in my order and they always get it right when I ask for customizations.

My number one pick for when Im craving sushi. Remains my favorite out of all the restaurants Ive tried in burnaby/nw. That and the fact that they have the best prices is what keeps me coming back! 10/10 recommend. Also, they have the best tuna/salmon oshi....a must try! Vegetarian options: Great, tasty options.

I will never order from here again. Atleast not at this location. I asked for masago makis and the masago was just sprinkled on top. LITERALLY. Never have I ever had an issue with a basic masago roll before. The salmon tempura maki roll is really dry. I asked them to cut all maki rolls smaller for the kids twice and they forgot or ignored it. I also asked for less rice on the alaska roll but that was ignored too. The miso soup was also pretty bland.... Quite a disappointing dinner for us but we know now.

Mouth watering chicken fried rice!!

I was a bit skeptical at first due to the interior and decor. But the food was remarkably good and the people were nice.

Recent price increase lost my business. The quality and value was always average, but they had amazing combo deals. Going for lunch and getting a combo was my favourite. Now the deal is basically the same as just ordering off the menu and all the prices increased dramatically. So what s the point? For the amount of money they charge now I d rather go to a place with better quality.

Not impressive. The udon was weak.The sushi fell apart and the soft shelled crab was soso and served with zero garnish and bottled sauce.And youd think Id get miso soup with all that ? Well no .Service was lacking as well. Not recommending nor going back. Too bad.

The food is what youd expect from a sushi place. I have no complaints about it at all. But the place has really bad customer service. While ordering over the phone, I was hung up on several times on many different occasions. I gave them so many chances. And when I went there to grab pick up, I had to wait about 30M for chicken don. When I was inside the lady at the front desk was screaming at the chefs. I was ignored a few times and I had to repeat what order Id made. I had to cancel my order and walk out this time. Its a real shame because I would have liked them to be my regular sushi place for so many reasons like the dining area and their convenient location.

Ive ordered from this restaurant literally dozens of times and cant think of a time where there was a fail or mistake on their end. Its always delicious, the food is priced well, and the portion sizes are surprisingly large. Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions, Ive never eaten inside so I cant speak to the ambience or staff, but the food will never disappoint.

This sushi place was very good! I got the mix and match lunch deal which had so many different options! They had all my favourite rolls in the combo which is a rare find! The rolls were huge and I also got the spicy agadashi tofu which came with a lot of tofu. My boyfriend got the chicken karage which also came with a lot! The service was also very good and our server was super nice!

Ordered a takeout SOBA noodle soup via Uber Eats. These people have no clue what is SOBA and likely have been falsely advertising their SOBA but selling egg noodles instead. When I called the restaurant, they told me to deal with Uber. And they had the audacity to teach me what Soba is, and that they d been selling this ever since they started their business??? Their idea of a soba is thinner EGG NOODLES! They clearly do not know that Soba is made of buckwheat, hence gluten free, which is why I ordered Soba due to an allergy. So so disappointed. Had to put a star on cos if I didn t, it wouldn t let me post. If I could, ZERO STARS.

I have dinned there and ordered out takeout quite a few times. The food is pretty good for a sushi place. The service is decent not over the top fantastic. The place is very reasonably priced.

This is my husbands fav sushi place. We usually ordered through fantuan and ordered like 2 times a week at least. The food is okay but the service not even simple thank you everytime i came to pick up. I know its not necessary to do so, a simple smile will be nice too but nah, they dont even bother. One time the lady also rude when handling the food, the treatment feels like i was asking free food from them.

Fresh sushi and fast service with good specials and variety. I love the tofu teriyaki and the nigri or salmon maki. Take out is better than done in right now due to covid and the restaurant is pretty dark. Before covid it was a nice place for dine in.

PLease dont use brown avocado in your rolls in the future. If that did not happen all the time I would give a higher rating.

Came here, food was okay but the service was not. I walked in and they looked confused as to why I was there. We stared at each other blankly until I asked if I can have a table and a menu. They sat me down and I had to call the. When I was ready to order. The 1 star is for customer service. Restaurant experience starts at the door.

I always order delivery from here. The order is always correct and is delivered in a timely mannered. Reliable.

Basic Sushi house serving decent Sushi. Food is fresh so no complaints there. Rates are not that crazy either so Id recommend it. I have tried a few other places but this one is always consistent with the taste so Id stick with it for a while. Their mix and match combo is great if youre on a budget. Food usually gets prepared pretty fast so weve always ordered ahead of time and never had to wait for our order, its always ready for pickup.

I used to eat here sometimes...now the portion control is becoming smaller and smaller over the months....rolls are getting smaller and smaller and their cutting corners to save money...what happen to good portion....back then..not coming back here anymore...lost a customer

The food and staff are awesome. The price is very cheap for the quality. I love their rolls and everything is so fresh.

Rude younger Asian lady working around 3pm on March 10. If the restaurant owner is reading this hopefully he can do something about such service before she gets rid of all the customers. We were the only customer so it was not that busy as it was around 3pm we went in. There was no greetings, or smile but rudely showed us where to sit. After ordering I asked for some hot sauce which we paid for and this waitress seemed to give us an annoyed look and just walked away. There was absolutely no service to check if we needed anything so I had to go up to ask for things. In the end when I was packing my food the rude waitress came right to me asking to pay. I paid and then she demanded to pay her tips for her negative energy and rude service. Unbelievable!!!

Best bang for buck sushi in New Westminster

Had a wonderful meal here for two. The maki trays are excellent. The food is fresh and the sushi is well made. I hade the bubble tea as well and it is incredible. Its very difficult to find good bubble tea in New Westminster and this place has fabulous Taro milk tea. Has a number of options. The smoke salmon is amazing!

I dont understand how one place can be so inconsistent. I gave them 5 tries, 2 times I would have given 5*, the other times were dreadful. Not going to order again.

Quick service and great food. They also have some pretty large booth seating thats perfect if you are out with kids that could use some drawing/ play space while you eat.

Honestly not the best sushi Ive had but its good enough, good prices and the location is prime. Its solid.

Horrible service. Do not order close to closing time. I placed an order through skip the dishes WHICH WAS ACCEPTED however, when I went to pick it up they had closed. Food is good, but the front of house service is non-existent. Eating in before covid they would ignore you the whole time, just bring your food and thats it. During covid they were incapable of keeping the entryway safe, letting delivery drivers stand around blocking the tiny space while your order sits on the side. If you get it do yourself a favor and go through a delivery app.

I think this place is now pretty well organized and the food is amazing!(I really recommend there bento boxes)The place is clean and the waitress was nice and polite. One suggestion though, keep the sashimi colder than room tempature.

I ordered the bento from fantuan app and I picked it up on time. Unfortunately, while they have good portion I felt like the tempura became soggy because they closed the take out container right after. Also they only gave the chopsticks with 2 pieces of napkins. I wish they could have give at least a spoon/fork perhaps. In terms of the taste, it was alright edible but nothing memorable.

Probably the worst sushi I ever had. And its unfortunate because I ordered from here one other time and it was good but today....omg. The sushi smelt bad and the fish tasted not fresh at all I kept gagging just as I was chewing. Paid 45$ and only ate like 5 pieces and I had to throw away the rest it was so disgusting. Clearly this place is not consistent with the quality of their food. Never again.

Ordered from Kojima. Found a bug floating in our soup. I called the restaurant to complain and was treated very rudely. Was told the manager wasnt there, even though I could hear the host talking to him. They told me that it was ok. Take a pass on this place. Very rude, there is better sushi and definitely better service in New westminster

The food is decent but their Any three items combo has unlisted limitations, which is annoying. When I asked if I could change my order they said no and that I had to choose one of the available options under the combo. Ive ordered here a few times but I guess Ill be looking for a new sushi place. I told the lady that called me that there were no limitations on the wording of the menu and she said I know but still insisted.

Terrible Service. We were the only people in the restaurant, but dirty dishes left on the table for a long time. After we received our food, nobody came back to our table at any time, until about 30 minutes later when I waved for more tea. When the bill and credit card machine came, I had to ask for a takeout box. Really apathetic waitresses. Then no thank you or bye when we walked right past both waitresses by the front door. Sushi was so-so. Try Sushi-Well up the hill if you want decent service and better sushi. Waitresses were texting on their phones for the majority of the time.

Horrible service! I was craving for some Japanese food and headed out to Sushi Tang on 6th and 6th. It was take out only so opted for Kojima instead. First off, the server did not greet me or anything. No hello, no nothing. I helped myself to a seat and was given the menu and a cold cup of tea. I had to call the server after a few minutes to place my order. She was so busy with her phone I had to call her several times to ask for another cup of tea, for my bill and for a doggie bag. I had lost my appetite by then and decided to just leave. Worst of all, she gave me the machine and i left after i tapped my card wirhout her acknowledging my presence. Horrible horrible service! Or should I say disservice. To the owner, if you dont want to serve your customers, just post a take out only notice outside. As for myself, i will never go back! Neither for dine in nor take out!

Terrible costumer service. We went for family dinner, the air conditioning was to cold so we decided to take the food to home instead of eating inside the restaurant, the chef got super mad about that and the waitress was super rude with us. Never going back to that restaurant. Go to another Sushi restaurant in New Westminster because here the costumer service doesnt exist at all.

I ordered delivery from this place. Let me just say, it was the best take out sushi Ive ever had. It was neatly packed, tasted fresh, the gyoza were still very warm! The price was reasonable and the sushi was great. I definitely recommend this place if youre craving take out and live relatively close by.

3rd time in them not getting the order right my recommendation is repeating tje order few times to get the right order

We love Kohima sushi. The sushi is fresh and delicious, the prices are great. Their sushi special is an amazing deal The food was ready quickly and had a great presentation. The only suggestion is for the server to be a little more friendly.

Terrible service, wont be ordering from them ever again. I ordered a take out from them with Ubereats. I received a different roll from what I ordered. When I called them and said that they mixed my order, no apologies. Especially if you order a 12$ Malibu roll that looks like a regular roll smoked salmon roll. No mango, no cucumber, no nori. No refunds, just in store credit.

Good vegetarian sushi

Gorgeous rolls. Always happy when I order from here. Ive also had a few of the Bubble Teas and Slushies and found those to be very enjoyable as well. My favourite food items are the Negitoro Cone and the Hawaii Roll. The one downside is the atrocious service. The girls arent very personable, theyre standing there chatting and they have only checked back on 1 of the 3 tables that are currently dining in. All of my stars go to the kitchen staff for their hard work and delicious food. The serving staff is the reason I cant in good faith give a complete 5 star review.

The sushi was largely uninspired, kind of quickly, loosely made. The salmon sashimi was good, but the tuna and whitefish were bland, and the octopus was so chewy we couldnt eat it. They also missed an entire part of our order when we went to pick it up, so they had to send a delivery guy to bring us the rest of it. Just overall, disappointing.
