This place is so great. I camw from Los Angeles to visit Canada and found this great reastraunt. Dont be fooled by the area. The food is absolutely amazing, Tom and his wife were very interactive and got a great conversation going, the food is so great. I ordered the chicken Lebanese plate, it was great. The baklava and fallafell is great as well. The price is very reasonable and they are very kind.

This Mediterranean food place was Amazing,and was very pleased with there service and food ,the food is 10/10,I would love to come back here again. And if you dont know what to order, Tom the owner will recommend you some great food. Him and his wife are great conversation starters and great people

Omgoodness! Firstly Lovely people and service, the tabouli falafel salad I ordered was delicious and of course no Donair house is complete without the purple pickles! But truly, the custard I had was the best Ive ever tasted! I highly recommend stopping in.

I chose this place based on the reviews and sadly Im disappointed I went out of my way but also know I likely won t make a second trip. My meal was underwhelming. I ALWAYS have a salad with chicken salad instead of a platter or donair due to dietary limitations. Of all the places i have tried this one was the smallest, had the least amount of chicken and may actually hv been the priciest. The presumably husband and wife were friendly enough. Just ok overall.

Ive been here twice now and this place has instantly become my favourite donair spot in town. So far Ive had the turkish style donair wrap, once with chicken, and the other time with beef. Both were delicious but Im partial to the beef, and the fried onion that comes in the wrap is amazing. The portion is great, with an excellent balance between meat and vegetables, the wraps dont feel like theyre overfilled with lettuce. The service is wonderful and probably my favourite part, the owners are really nice people and very personable, if you like hockey and want to spark up some conversation, talk about the Red Wings with them!

I discovered this place a few weeks ago and absolutely loved the food quality, flavors, and friendly service. When I decided to have a build your own donair table for a recent birthday party I was hosting, I thought I would give New West Donair & Grill a try. The whole experience was stress free and the food was ready on time and very fresh. The owners knew exactly how much food I would need for the number of people attending, and there were enough sauces and pitas to go with everything. It s so nice to find a gem like this in the neighborhood.

Wanted a Donair poutine originally and the gentleman didn t know what it was once the female came she s like oh you could have got the loaded fries. Maybe would have had a better experience if she served me first, super disappointed with the meal though. Both nice people though.

I tried this place on a whim and it was such a pleasant surprise. The lamb shank platter was recommended and the meat was so tender and flavourful. The whole platter felt like a good home-cooked meal. The owners were very kind and friendly as well. Will be back to try other dishes!

I lked to support small family run businesses and this one certainly fills that bill. My son and i I stopped in one afternoon because we wanted something fast and easy. The food tastes like it could have been cooked by a chef in a 5-star or Michelin restaurant which isnt far from the truth. I had the Lebanese chicken plate and it was fantastic. Next time I plan to try the lamb which I AM SURE IS BEAUTIFULLY COOKED thanks to the couples Australian background. My son had a chicken donair which was equally tasty. So if you want tasty Mediterranean food cooked to perfection by a warm and friendly husband and wife, that really knows what they doing, look no further than Toma and Monas New West Donair & Grill.

Wonderful take out restaurant. Lovely hostess, Moona if I remember correctly. She was so friendly and helpful. Very proud of her product, and rightfully so. Definitely deserves 5 stars. The food is very good, I gave 4 stars due to personal preference. I prefer more of the Egyptian style falafel with more herbs and such. Hers is very good, just a preference. Rice is flavorful and fresh. Lovely little salad with lettuce, onion, tomato, turnip and lemon, was a perfect compliment to everything. Hummus was on point, both regular and beet. Oh that garlic sauce, get some to take home, I used it with my roast chicken, divine dip. Fresh pita. Fries perfectly cooked. Atmosphere is simple, set up for takeout. Very clean, I could barely smell the floor cleaner, loved it. Bathroom spotless. I was very happy and will be going back to try the chicken and lamb. Thank you for a great experience and conversation. Vegetarian options: Falafel is vegy and there is other items as well. Whole menu is small so dont expect alot. Parking: Lots of spots on the street. Kid-friendliness: Easy for kids to get in Wheelchair accessibility: Street level, easily accessible.

I come here whenever I m in the area for my eye appointments and it never disappoints. Both the platters and donairs are delicious. I also tried the homemade custard, baklava, and cherry pie this time which were all delicious. Mona, the owner, is so friendly and sweet and gave me a free shot of espresso to go with my baklava. I highly recommend this spot!

Stopped here to try a new place, really impressed by everything I tried. Tried a donair, loaded fries, chicken platter, baklava. The donair was perfect it had crisp onion bits that I havent had before it really added something special. The platter I enjoyed the rice was moist unlike how it is often dry from most places and the home made hummus was exceptional. The owner said they havent been open long but I hope They do very well and are there for me to enjoy for many years to come I would suggest this place to anyone it really is worth the stop.

Love the wraps and desserts! Beef and falafel are my favourite wraps. You are able to customize style of food - Turkish, Lebanese or Greek which is always a plus since you can try out varieties. The crispy loaded fries is very rich and indulgent. The desserts are homemade and delicious and are sweet treat!

The portions are large. The service is pretty great. I know I m always walking out full and happy and with a smile I m grateful for this neighbourhood restaurant.

I frequent this area about 4 times a week. Decided to finally stop in as I had some time to kill. I got a mixed wrap Lebanese style. The meat had great flavor and the sauces had their own distinct taste. Not watery sauce like other places. Since this is a new small business I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. The lady at the front was lovely and she told me they come from Langley to run their business. I wish them well as the location is tough to find parking and there is little foot traffic. The veggies were fresh and the wrap held together. The atmosphere is clean and hygienic. This place is better than Zaaki right now for price and cleanliness. Zaaki has become a shell of their former self and you can hardly get any customer service and the last two times I went there my stomach basically rented the food. Great job New West Donair & Grill! Keep it up and keep it consistent! I will be back!

Went here for the first time and ordered the Lebanese style shawarma. It was delicious but I wish it was seasoned a bit more. Was really hoping they had toum as their garlic sauce, but their garlic sauce was pretty good. It s hard to find authentic Arabic food around here, but this place comes pretty close to it. The ladies were warm and friendly and just so lovely.

I placed an order for catering our companys lunch event (for approximately 50 people) from this restaurant and everything was amazing. The ingredients were fresh and everyone enjoyed the food. The owners went above and beyond to ensure the food was cooked fresh and were extremely kind. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone :) Also, not on their menu but if youre doing a large catering event, ask for the cherry cake- such a delicious dessert!

Great customer service along with a very delicious foods.

We found this gem this week and we will surely come back. Everything that we tried was delicious. Muna and Tom are wonderful people and make all the difference.

Really humble, polite people! Just wonderful customer service, their food was great. I had both of their beef and chicken platter as well as the donair, both tasted awesome. Portion was also good enough, more than any other places. I also found it is reasonably cheaper than other donair places. They buy their meat from Shams Halal meat, which is a Halal meat supplier.
