2859 Broadway, New York, NY 10025, United States
Pizza chain offering NYC-style pies & other familiar Italian fare in a counter-serve setting.
The cashier lady is a petty thief. She literally overcharged me for my food as if I wasn't going to say something. Stealing during the holiday season is next-level evil. There are so many reviews calling her rude, but stealing is just low class. Also, I got sick immediately after eating that greasy pizza.
$5 for a slice is crazy, but these guys are very nice, keep the place clean and the environment is good. Will come back for the people for sure
Love this place. Pizza is ALWAYS good, never soggy or burnt. My brother has always gone to pick up the pizza from here, and last week is the first time I ever actually went myself, and the atmosphere is perfect, relaxing. The staff is super nice. I have a few pizza places near where I live, but they all suck!! This place is 40 blocks from my place and it's the best pizza. I'll gladly take the trip to eat good fresh pizza! Even your friendly neighborhood Spiderman has been here!! lol
The meatball parmigiana hero was absolutely amazing. I tried this with an order of garlic knots (with mozzarella) and it was entirely too much. Big sandwich topped with a lot of cheese. The garlic knots had a lot of cheese melted over them, too. This place serves delicious food, and delivers a lot more than I had expected. I'll return often.
Typical greasy pizza joint. $5 for a slice of pepperoni. Big seating area in the back. Everyone here speaks Spanish - which I love. I miss fountain sodas. So tired of restaurants that only serve can soda. The pepperoni pizza was extra greasy.
Good Italian food. Their pizza is tasty, and the garlic knots are authentic 🤤 Prices are a little high for Manhattan, but it's to be expected. Recommend going there for lunch or dinner.
Famous Famiglia is the best place to get pizza in New York City. I’ve gone to this place for over 10 years. The quality of the pizza is amazing. My favorite slice is the Margarita or Grandma. It has a lot of flavor and you’re able to customize it with seasonings if you would like to. The prices are really good compared to other places and it’s very clean. Staff is always wearing a mask. I always see them clean the tables after being used and always recommend people to sanitize their hands. Overall, amazing experience. If you’re ever on the upper west side, stop by Famous Famiglia to get the best pizza in the city.
First time here, couldn't make it to my usual spot on 106. Decor was simple like any other Famous Famiglia. I was greeted the moment I walked in and was kindly given a moment to decide what I wanted. Ended up with two plain sizes and garlic knots. The garlic knots was more on the dough side (cooked of course) for some reason I like my garlic knots crisper. The slices themselves were decent, I have had better.
Good place to eat something quick, very good
The food is very very very delicious the service is very very good they are super friendly
My favorite pizza shop across the street from my job I and I rate this restaurant 100 billion stars. And the staff is nice to all there customers, smells fresh in here and they speak English and Spanish very good. Vegetarian options: Yes Parking: Once you find parking, that would be good, but you know about New York City not easy finding parking Kid-friendliness: Very friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Good pizza...
Fair prices and good portion not always a friendly staff
Thats was the best pizza Ive had in a while 10/10
Whenever Im in the upper west side neighborhood of West 110th, I always stop by Famiglia to have a slice of my favorite pizza: supreme.
The best cost-effective pizza restaurant in our neighborhood. A restaurant with a light taste that is easy to eat or drink, and a good price!
The delivery is constantly horrendous. Time after time the pizza has slid into a corner of the box and I am delivered a blob of cheese and dough soaked in tomato sauce. I thought I had the solution if the pizza place doesn t cut the slices. I ll cut the slices at home. Unfortunately, the pizza guy ignored my request or forgot and slices the pie. And again I am presented a box with soggy slabs of dough soaked in tomato sauce, with twisted lumps of cheese. Besides the ruined pizzas, their garlic knots are good.
These people are the worst scumbags in the world. Why do I say that? They literally robbed me. Let me explain. I ordered delivery. My pizza came cold and beef patties came hard like they were old. They were also cold. I call up and tell them what happened and I want to get a fresh order. My microwave was broken and I couldnt heat it up. Plus, the beef patties looked old. The manager Enraul or something like that, tells me that its late and I was the last of five deliveries so that is why my food was cold and he is so sorry and all he could do is a store credit. So I wasnt able to eat. I was hingry but very angry. I felt bad for the delivery guy because it was cold and rainy so I said, fine, Ill call during the week. But I was so angry that I just threw the food in the trash. I made an egg omelet and went to sleep angry. Now, I call for a store credit and this scumbag who answers the phone accesses me of lying and tells me I cant get my food. I have to now deal with the fact that I got robbed. I feel so disrespected and just lied to. Its not about the 20 dollars, its not about the 5 dollar tip. Its about a restaurant that truly doesnt care about giving quality food. I will never order again from there and I dont wish them well. Im going to make it my mission to leave this review on every single platform and I have many followers. They will rob you too. Their quality of food is disgusting and they will lie to you about credits. Do not trust them.
Such good food here
Good pizza!! Bern coming here since 1986. Its a local staple if you like specialty pizza by the slice.
This is the GOOD pizza place in the neighborhood. Dont go to Koronet - yes they have big slices wow but the pizza is bad. The real ones do to Famiglia
Reliable pizza, usually plenty of seats. A decent neighborhood pizza joint.
I grew up eating pizza here, Best New York City pizza and AMAZING garlic knots. Kid-friendliness: Went here as a kid and grew up eating here every week Wheelchair accessibility: Two doors both wheelchair accessible
Best pizza I had in NYC
ASKED FOR EXTRA CHEESE G SAUCE G I WAS TOLD NO BECAUSE I EAS SUPPOSED TO CALL IT IN... THE PLACE WAS NOT BUSY & THE GARLIC KNOTS SHOULD BE RENAMED TO TINY DOUGH BALLS.... WAY SMALLER THAN A GARLIC KNOT... COLD PIZZA & HARD DOUGH BALLS....
The pizza here is delicious. I liked the white pizza topped with broccoli. Recommended! And that orange soda is crazy.
So much better than neighboring competitors (ex. Kornet has been awful in recent years) Famous Famiglia keeps me coming to Manhattan. Keep up with the great food and atmosphere. Always a 100% Thank you,
Not only is the Pizza yummy and warm, but the pasta is Very very delicious. There is also plenty of seating for those who like to eat for lunch or any other time. Still visit often and the quality of Pizza is still amazing. Vegetarian options: They do offer Veggie Pizza. Kid-friendliness: This Location is Kid-Friendly Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, and door spacings are very wide. Everyone is welcome.
A very clean restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is very good.
One slice of cheese pizza $3 Pepperoni for $4 I got 3 cheese and 1 pepperoni for $14. It was delicious and very big, so I couldn t eat it all. Just like everyone else, it warms you up.
For me to love lasagna so much I would never go here again and buy it. Its basically just cheese and what 2 maybe 3 piece of pasta from top to bottom, I think the tiniest portion of meat to where you dont know its in there until you look. But yeah all I chewed was just cheese.... oh cant forget the sauce... taste was good but didnt know I order a lasagna thats 90% cheese. Eww Im lactose...
One of my sons favorite pizza spots in the city. For $25, a plain pizza and three drinks will feed the family. Clean with an easily accessible restroom.
Good service and good food
Says open at 10am when I call they say they open at 11, fix ya timing
Our favorite must stop pizza in NY
Great slices amazing prices.
Great slices!
Old school pizza place. Huge slices
Ive been to a few Famiglia locations around the city and this one is by far the best.
Better and cheaper than the place across the street
Always friendly, the folks at famiglia are consistently welcoming. The pizza is consistent and there is rarely a line.
Amazing food and service Kid-friendliness: very kid friendly Food : 5/5 |
Excellent Customer Service. The staff was amazing. One the best grandma pizzas I ever ate. Wishing you many more years of success.
Nice warm place. Great wifi-connection. Good, reasonably-priced food
Tasty pizza and pasta a delight
An excellent New York slice at a fair price. Cheese to sauce to crust ratio on the cheese slice was great. Better than the overpriced and overrated place across the street.
Nice place and great food!
Classic old school NY pizza place!!
BEST PIZZA IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!! friendly staff and great service
The pizza may be fine, but their take on a Chicken Ceasar Salad was just awful. They used a frozen breaded chicken patty and gave me a squeeze bag of dressing. Just Awful.
Pizza is delicious $3.26 **** 4 stars especially the vegetarian pie
Great pizza spot on or around Columbia University.
I love
Ate chicken parmagiana with penne pasta. It very tasty and the quantity was worth the price. Shoutout to the person at the counter for being really nice :)
One of my childhood favorite spots. The best pizza in Manhattan 111st & Broadway, come one come all.
You cant complain! Italian owned uptown area! The pizza remains the same. AMAZING! I LOVE primavera and a side of garlic knots! Yum. I could taste it as I speak.
The pizza was good but it could have had more flavor. However, youre not going to Famiglias for the food, if not the experience. Sure, the decore is a little outdated but it never fails.
This has to be one of the worst Italian restaurants in NYC. We ordered baked ziti thinking it would be of good quality but the ziti was drenched with inches deep water, tasted old and frozen, the cheese on the ziti was cold. We simply couldnt eat the baked zitti so we ordered a slice of cheese pizza but it had little to no sauce in it, tasted like rubber. Horrible food. If you want good pizza, just go to Koronets and if you want Italian, just go to Fumo
Those Pizzas were GOOD
Great pizza and they please the customer with any specific style.
Staple pizzeria. A New York classic.
Love this pizza place. But lately. They are getting a little sloppy serving the food. They forget most of the time to put intensil in the bag.
Consistently Great Food and Service. They have the best pizza anywhere.
The pizza is always on point. Buffalo and margherita slices are my fav.
My son comes here everyday with his grandmother he loves it so it gets five stars from me
Was greesy it filled my whole plate of it couldve been cooked longer
Affordable and fast. Great customer service
You guys have good quality menú but your delivery boy calling a doorman building to get the order in the street is unacceptable. Third time it has happened in a week. Never ordering again
Great pizza. Definitely not worth $3.80 a slice. I get where in NYC but a slice of pizza should be no more than a $1.75 when its only cheese.
Good place
Ordered pizza
The quality of the food hasnt waned but their prices have, and astronomically so.
Very rude delivery people do not speak English and often get lost when delivering. I called the store no one speaks English and could not tell me if my food had been delivered. The staff hung up the phone when I inquired where the pizza was. The staff need supervision in terms of customer service.
Food was good. Service was good. Sitting area is okay.
nice and clean
One of the best pizzas in NY
Great old school pizza
If you love Pizza or Italian food, then this is the place to go and enjoy some delicious food... Try the spaghetti with meatballs this is my favorite dish...
Spend the extra $1 and go for the medium size. Even in the dead of winter there is a line because having Pinkberry froyo is a refreshing treat. Not too heavy. The staff is always pleasant and patient too at this location. Today I had green tea and pomegranate. My hubby had hazelnut. Go for this over ice cream all day long
Expensive pizza with cheap ingredients
The food is always fresh and tasty, the service is always spot on. The delivery service that they provide is always within the time that is promised without any issues. Enjoy
Pretty average greasy pizza. Often lots o college students.
Great pizza!
Very expressive
Made food the way I like
I wanted a salad but Im allergic to green peppers. All salad were already prepared so I aksed if they can do one without green pepper and they said no to me.
Best place for pizza and pasta!!!! Specifically this location!!! The best!!!!
Best pizza I have had for a long time. Bread had that great chewy texture, sauce was flavorful and abundant. Nice and greasy, full of flavor, and just plain delicious. Delivered in good time as well.
The best pizza Ive tasted thus far and their slices are nice and BIG
Great food. Great people. Great seating outside.
Real pizza, fantastic everytime!
Food is so good! Gotta try it, if you havent.
Great pizza great place. But the cashier lady is rude. Went in to get pizza before Pinkberry the lady says no bathroom as soon as I walk in. I say I want pizza she says sign outside no bathroom on for customers. Really!
Love it chicken Parmesan with noodles the pizza was great too. This place never lets you down. I m always happy I bought here. The food is always great.
Excellent Excellent pizza place best pizza Ive had in soooooo long
Excellent service from the lady who is there and all the staff
Great pizza and great service with low price. What do you expect more!
Need some oregano in the sauce
Loved it
Very good service!!!
Very very average pizza, did the job as we were there but the ingredients are average and the seasoning is poor. The base is relatively tasty I guess. it was overall an average experience in a dated venue which relies on a more colorful past. Needs modernization.
The food is great!!!
Fast service, good pricing, and great food.
Wonderful place, delicious, fast service. Favorite place of my best friend and I since college. Decently priced, too!
One of the good pizza restaurants to go for lunch and for dinner.
Best pizza in that area!
A little expensive for what it is but I like the location and spacious-ness.
Delicious
Also a good cheap purchase.
Love the nice crisp crust, clean atmosphere & kind staff
Friendly atmosphere and delicious pizza! A bit pricey by the slice though.
Czone is pureed cheese. Tasteless.
I highly recommended
Card minimum $5. Overpriced for small, mediocre pizza. Ended up spending $6 on a single chicken slice with a tiny bit of Cesar sauce on it. The ice cream things are probably the most worthwhile, though still up there in pricing, $1 each scoop. Workers were nice I will say, very clean, dim lighting.
Great pizza, NYC classic!
Nice nieghborhood style place, staff is friendly and cheerful! Good old fashioned Brooklyn pizza plus specialty slices. Other Italian entrees offered. If youre in the mood for pizza make Famous Famiglia a stop
Good enough.
Been going here for years. Staff is friendly and the food is good.
Wow! The pizza and choices are Deliciously Fresh! And, pizza, an all time favorite. A perfect spot to grab a quick bite, that will leave you wanting nove. And, dont forget to try they garlic rolls!
The taste of the pizza is great and the staff are friendly as well. Lot of pictures to look at on the wall while eating here
It is the BEST PIZZA.
Quick, easy, and a great slice of pizza. A little pricey but thats to be somewhat expected. Theres nothing like NYC pizza!
I love pizza, theirs is ok, definetly over priced!
This place is very pleasant. They treat you with respect.
Its good to have an old school pizza place like this. Old Hollywood style. I hope it stays around forever. Friendly stuff, good slice, fast and quick.
Taste and fresh
Nice place to chill and have awesome pizza!
Great pizza just expensive.
Pizza was EXCELLENT
Good food
Nice service and ATMOSPHERE
Delicious
Love the pizza. The service was great.
Fast efficient service for mediocre expensive NYC pizza, despite jumbo slice competition directly across the street. Friendly staff.
