Wu and Nussbaum is an eatery located in the heart of the Upper West Side of New York City, offering a delicious blend of Chinese dumplings, gluten-free and vegetarian fare. Their delectable bagels, sandwiches, and baked goods are a hit with locals and students alike, making them a sought-after spot for mouthwatering meals near Columbia University.
I don’t usually write reviews, but you’ve left me no choice because I’m still thinking about this *eight months later*. That one time I decided to choose your bagel shop over Absolute Bagel—only because their line was wrapped around the corner—was a mistake I deeply regret. This, despite the advice of my girlfriend, who warned me after visiting your spot *once* 15 years ago, back when you had the name the other way around. Boy, was she right. $53.25 later, I experienced not only one of the worst bagels but one of the worst breakfasts of my entire life. To put it in perspective: I grew up in poverty, and I can confidently say this ranks in the top two worst breakfasts I’ve ever had—and you’re not number two.
We live in the neighborhood and I come here often. The bagels are good and Chinese food just ok. My issue however was with the cashier today who took my order this afternoon and asked me to pay without showing me the screen. I had to ask twice — she quoted me the amount— and when she finally tilted it for me to see she had added her own tip. I imagine she’s doing this on a number of unsuspecting orders. Not cool.
Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience and a lot of it had to do with the older gentleman who was our server. He was not knowledgeable when it came to the vegan options, brought my partner an entree and side of dumplings instead of the combo (didn’t even have the decency to apologize) and creepily waited to see what tip I left him. Then shortly after verifying his tip he nonchalantly walked off and left my credit card on the the table. He was unpleasant and the food was just okay. Would not recommend nor comeback ever gain!
I come here for bagels and I think the quality of the fish is way better than Absolute Bagels. The smoothies are also delicious. I like how sanitary the food prep area is. The dining room is airy and bright. I don’t love the vibrating buzzer system and some tables need wiping down, but they open early and I always have a good experience.
I order bagels from here all the time and love that you can order lox by the quarter pound. my orders always arrive quickly and are accurate. Occasionally, I'll order their Chinese food as well which is solid. Less greasy than some other local spots. Also I cannot say enough good things about their vegan offerings. This is definitely a go to for brunch or dinner if we need quick food that accommodates a variety of diets.
The place advertises bagels and noodles. We focused on the Chinese food side and may have made a mistake. Those around us all had bagel sandwiches. We ordered the pan fried pork dumplings and the scallion pancake beef sandwich. Both were okay, but just okay. The scallion pancake was too thick and too doughy, which kept it from being crunchy. They went with a Peking duck template with scallions, oyster sauce, cucumbers, and marinated beef. The filling was excellent; it was just that the pancake was too thick. The pork dumplings were lazily made, with the ends open. Every bite one takes moves the filling out the other end for a less than satisfying eating experience. We'll try the bagel sandwiches next time.
There are two ways to contemplate this eclectic locale. You can either wonder about the synthesis of cultures and styles- Jewish and Chinese, paper lanterns and minimalist chic- or you can simply indulge yourself in the delicious, stomach-filling bagels and soft, creamy noodles. I do wish this place had a little more stylized ambiance, but it's not meant to be a place that one stays in for an extended period of time. Come in early in the morning, when the line is short, grab yourself a sumptuous, tantalizing breakfast bagel, and enjoy. The bagels might not be the best in New York City, but considering the high standard of bagels in this city, that's not necessarily a failing. I adore how plump and rich the breakfast bagels are. You can get two servings out of one single breakfast bagel if you're not too hungry. Both the servings will be absolutely satisfying.
I recently visited Wu and Nussbaum mainly because of their vegan items advertised on their store front sign. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors and portions sizes. I tried their pan fried dumplings, a seaweed salad (on a generous serving size bowl) and their delicious and unbelievable general tso unchicken (made with seitan). I also tried their refreshing mango iced tea. Undoubtedly, will be ordering from here again and again. This place is also on grubhup if you live nearby Columbia University area.
Falsely advertising as pick-a-bagel on delivery platforms. Outsourcing delivery to an external provider, Relay, that is consistently late and delivers cold food. Customer service on the phone is brusque and unhelpful with updates on the service provided, only continues to say I m sorry without any sincerity. Ultimately the order was partially incorrect, and hot food was cold when delivered. Not worth the effort or high price for bagels that aren t even fresh, to order from here again with poor execution and subpar food items. If you re in the food business, at least get the food right and make it good.
Waited more than 15 mins for a coffee and a bagel (please just give me the coffe at least!)
Best bagels in Morningside Heights! Highly recommend.
I ordered in person, and they put plain cream cheese instead of scallion (which costs more). Bagel is decent but disappointing that they couldn t get a simple order correct.
i love this place so much! unfortunately it looks like the employee with long black hair is tasked with everything in the front without anybody else back there helping
Great tuna melt bagel! Friendly staff. I will be back.
A place I would recommend to Israelis to visit, especially if you want to eat a quick and simple meal. There are dishes of bagels and salads that are delicious and simple. Also recommended for vegetarians, they put a huge portion of vegetarian dishes on the menu. On the other hand the menu is pretty crazy, there is a very large Asian section. One drawback - there are no waiters and the menu is very varied so you get quite confused.
It used to be really good when the names were the other way around. Decided to take a chance and try them out again. In the past they had always messed up my orders but they had just reopened. But today I just tried to grab a black and white cookie and a fruit danish. Instead of just completing the transaction and grabbing the two pastries that were right next to him I was given a buzzer to wait, irritating but not that big of a deal. When my order was ready I told them they got my order wrong. Without even really acknowledging me they just snatched the incorrect food from my hand. And when I reached out my hand thinking they were going to hand me my new order They just kind of threw it at me and it hit the counter. Really unnecessarily hostile environment now.
I loved the Vegetable Noodle Soup from you guys
Have eaten here multiple times, very consistent and quite good. Service is straightforward. Ive gotten the general tso chicken, the Xiao Long Bao, the pickled cabbage and beef noodle soup as well as the snow cabbage beef noodle soup, both are great.
Wonderful service. Perfect for eats. Always
Great bagels and quick line. They don t make black and white cookies right though. You are supposed to flip them before frosting them so the frosted surface is the flat part that was touching the baking sheet. It bothers me whenever I go in there.
I ve been going here for the past two years, it s my favorite bagel shop in the area. Fast service and great bagels!
I order the Pork Belly soup and the passion fruit green tea, the broth was okay, I was expecting more flavor, it was bland, the pork belly slices was AMAZING! Good flavor and the green tea was also okay, need more passion fruit taste and missed the gummies lol. Friendly staff, outdoor seating available.
I love all the food (except the berry blast cream cheese it s awful) but they forgot my pickup/delivery orders three times over the past like 10 times I ordered
I ordered the shrimp fried rice it was delicious currently my New obsession meal lol always getting it for lunch
Upscale, clean, modern, idk about the bagels as I came later in the night, but the Asian food is delish even vegan options
They consistently don t send the coffee I order when I order via Uber eats. Waste of money to not receive an item. Update 4/17: ordered a corn muffin and they sent me a chocolate chip muffin. Good thing im not allergic to chocolate right?
delicious bagels, great chai lattes, good atmosphere -- one of my favorite spots in the city! You dont want to miss out
Usually this place is better but the quality has been declining. Today my bagel tasted stale but overly damp, like it had been defrosted. Not fresh at all. Not worth $5
awful service
Incredibly loud, rushed customer experience. Saturday brunch tho so probably not their whole fault. Frustrating 15 minute wait for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Bagel arrived with hair in the cream cheese extremely disappointed with the experience and blatant disregard for food health/ safety standards. No gloves on the food line, no hairnets, cash handlers touching food w/o washing hands the list goes on and on
Food is always fresh , good service and clean
This is my final straw w this place. I asked for EXTRA. I ALWAYS ask for extra and this is what it KEEPS looking like. I let it slide a few times but they clearly love saving money more than listening to customers . Hard pass
The cashier was hiding (I could see her crouched behind the counter) and it took her a while to stand up even though we made eye contact. I ordered a black coffee and then she did a bunch of stuff and gave me my order. I asked her if it was a black coffee and she laughed and said yes, but after getting to work and opening it, I saw that it was very light. For health reasons, I was upset enough to write this review.
I actually do like the bagels quite a bit! Not too doughy and not too big. however the cooked foods are pretty mediocre.
Meh. Nothing special, not bad either.
I got my order working 5 minutes after I payed , I come almost everyday and today them decorated everything on the occasion of Valentine s Day and it look very nice that give the store a makeover
I have come here twice with two very different experiences. Ill spare the details but overall a decent option but honestly nothing special. Once you get past the novelty of a Jewish and Asian fusion, you understand that its kind of hard to execute both well. The first time I came for dinner and while the experience was fine the food was relatively overpriced and really not especially tasty. I decided to give it a second shot and try a bagel sandwich, and while better tasting, still far from anything special and still overpriced. My advice would be to try somewhere else.
terrible chai
Pleasantly mediocre
Bagels are good. Service was fast and friendly. Fernando was super helpful and made my day better.
Convenient as it is near campus, other than that is just okay
great staff and bagels
Great place with great food and a decent variety. Its very nice to sit in, great for a short or long chat. The chicken noodle soup, dumplings, and fried rice are extraordinary!!!
Some of the best bagels.
Really getting annoyed. I now have to open it up each time because they repeatedly screw up the order.
Very tasty bagels and food. I got the avocado toast, which comes on a bagel of your choice for the bread, i chose a salt bagel and it was VERY salty, so if you re into salt, that s what i recommend for you. I also got a strawberry passion smoothie with an orange juice base, that was also very good. :) Atmosphere and service is great as well.
delicious bagels and noodles! perfect breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot all in one. love their lions favorite bagel sandwich, the best!
Place seems like it is under new ownership. Not as reasonable as I recall.
Ordered a Lox bagel: its enormous, crunchy outside, lox tasted great. Comparing the quality of bagels of this place vs Absolute Bagels: presentation is better, taste is better. Nice shop with free wifi, ample seating.
I liked this place but after having disappointing services, I decided not to go here.
Excellent service. Food came temperature hot. Best dumplings I had so far. Each dumpling had about a spoonful of broth. Thats the way it should be. The noodles were delicious and had just the right flavors. This is a good place to grab a bite if you are in this area. Its right across the street from Columbia University and the subway station/bus stop that are within a few feet away.
Mediocre. Staff gets the orders wrong. We ordered 3 egg and cheese on sesame bagels. Repeated three times what we wanted. Yet, out of the blue, they put bacon in them and when they redid it - with a wait time - they gave plain bagels and no cheese in one of them.
The bagels are great. Sometimes you have to wait like 10-15 minutes to get your order.
I went to eat lunch at this restaurant twice, and was pleased to see some vegetarian options, as I can not eat meat for health reasons. I came back a third time with a friend who wanted to try their vegan chicken, and you can surely imagine how big was my surprise when she received a totally different order. After checking with the kitchen, I found out that I had been eating chicken. Mediocre service, I felt huge disappointment and disgust, to all fellow vegetarians, please find another restaurant.
Really good bagels! Egg everything was lovely. Bathroom also easily accessible. Past the order line, towards the kitchen, behind the frosted glass. Food : 5/5
Chinese, bagel, sandwich, coffee or whatever you fancy in a bistro setting. Love this place! Well this place has character and unique calling. At the same time the Chinese noodle and tofu was as good as any authentic Chinese place. I think the negative review was more due to confusion on the customer sides. This place doesn t fit into any norm for sure. Just go!
Vegetarian options: The new plant based menu is wonderful!! Food
This place has the best black and white cookies, great bagels, crumb cake, and also great dumplings. Been a favorite of mine for decades!
I ve been coming here for the past 15 years on and off and it s one of my favourite bagel places in the city. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the food is very delicious. The interior used to be nicer IMHO and I definitely miss the old salad bar but other than that still a great place.
Great food!! Highly recommend!
Very good food! My food came very fast ok that it was empty, but still, I appreciated it.
Truly one of the best bagel places in the city. Lox on an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese here is the perfect salty breakfast. Muffins are good too.
I enjoyed both bagel sandwiches I had here. Good bagels and good toppings.
Dumpling takeout was divine.
I really liked it! The food was quite tasty! We got the chicken friend rice. The prices also seemed quite affordable for the area, especially for Chinese food! I hope to return shortly. The staff were very friendly and constantly checked in on us to see if we needed anything! The dumplings were good, and there were many vegetarian and vegan options available. Thank you!
Food
Great spot to get really tasty food! The portion was perfect, and the noodles were great (could be spicier)!
Ive only had breakfast here but while the food is tasty, I had the scrambled egg dish, the place has a hectic vibe about it that makes it less enjoyable to eat in.
Very good.
Love the dandan noodles--some of the best Ive had though could be a little spicier.
Back when this was Nussbaum & Wu I used to really enjoy a bagel every now and then. I was very excited to try the new Chinese foods when they re-opened unfortunately the Impossible meat dumplings and noodle dishes leave a lot to be desired in terms of both taste and texture. Three stars because the bagels are still tasty, though not as good as Absolute six blocks away. Vegetarian options: It s great that they offer vegetarian and vegan items, they just need to work on making them tastier.
Nice local place for an above average bagel. Just be aware they run out of bagels around 4 PM and they can get very busy with long wait times
Pan fried dumplings baby!!! With the house soy sauce might I add!!!
Despite having been a long-time customer of Nussbaum and Wu (now Wu and Nussbaum) for nearly 15 years... I will no longer be supporting this business. In the past 6 months Ive experienced numerous issues with the cashiers and staff that have been extremely frustrating. The most recent issue occurred this week when I ordered a bagel with egg, cheese, and tomato. I was charged just shy of $7 (never-mind that this is an insane price to be paying for this item - this is entirely besides the point). This included separate additional charges for the cheese and tomato. I received my order and noticed the bagel was missing the tomato (this kind of missing-item mistake happens frequently here, but in the past such problems used to be swiftly corrected by the staff without issue). I asked for a tomato slice, since the bagel was missing this item -- which I paid for -- and was told this would cost extra as the cashier began to charge me an additional amount for a side order of a tomato slice. I told her that I had already paid for the tomato (as I ordered a bagel with egg, cheese, and tomato - and paid in full). Rather than apologizing for her mistake and making this right, she decided instead to argue with me that I did not order any tomato and that she could pull-up my order history to prove that I was wrong. I told her that I was not mistaken and that, if any mistake had been made in entering the order, that it was her own. She refused to give me the single slice of tomato without making me pay twice for this item. Since I usually prefer not to engage in forensic analysis of my receipts and order history with cashiers first-thing in the morning, I decided to simply leave and never return again. This place can keep the pennies they gained on the slice of tomato I paid for and never received --- and they can lose the thousands of dollars I would have continued to spend here year-in-and-year-out. Summary: Awful customer service. Businesses that treat their customers with suspicion and refuse to own-up to their own mistakes do not deserve to continue to operate.
When this place reopened a few years ago, I was happy to have a decent bagel place closer to campus that took credit cards. Now the amount of cream cheese they put on their bagels is criminally low (barely there) and their bagels are horrible. If you want to satisfy your bagel craving, take the time to hit the atm and walk to Absolute.
Fantastic restaurant! Crazy concept Asian-Jewish fusion food but it somehow works and both cuisines are absolutely delicious!! I somehow didnt end up trying this place for a year living right across the street but now this place is my go to for bagels and Chinese food alike. Their sausage egg and cheese bagel is fantastic and would firmly attest that this is the best bagel you can get in the Morningside Heights neighborhood. But be warned, the bagels are no longer available in the evening when they switch to solely Asian cuisine. They even have options with Impossible meat although I have yet to try these dishes yet. Could not recommend this place enough as my go to for bagels and a great place to get Asian food!
It was good. Very odd set up and should focus on either being a cage or Asian cuisine. That would be my only real complaint
Very generous bagel fillings, awesome bagels. Excellent dan dan noodles .
The food was not good.
My husband and I stopped in on a Friday night for a quick bite. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! We had soup dumplings, chicken dumplings, and cold sesame noodles, all of which were delicious. I cannot speak at all to their bagels or take out service, which seem to harbor most of the complaints in the other reviews.
Every time I come here the employees are generally disrespectful and unmotivated. However, this time the employee with the blue hair (Nancy) was EXTREMELY disrespectful. She refused to make eye contact, or even speak to us directly. This is not the first time we ve had issues like this with her. Although the food is decent, this place suffers from a severe lack of competent management and customer service. There are too many quality bagel and Ramen shops in the area to justify being treated so poorly
They make the best bagels near Columbia imo, I usually get an everything with egg and cheese and its solid.
Unbearable smell of soot
We liked it; take bok choy and general TSO, its a good general in general
Always takes forever. 20 min wait for plain bagels (not even toasted)
Delivery person +1 (516) 601-1941 was rude. Did not want to bring my order up and hung up on me. Bagels were amazing!
Food is fine but it costs too much and takes too long... 20 minutes for a to-go soup. If you want a breakfast sandwich go to Samad-- cheaper faster and tastier
The Chef Wu s chicken dumplings with spicy vinaigrette were delicious. The vinaigrette was not spicy but did had a nice flavour.
We ordered Pork Soup Dimsums (Bao), Chicken Cabbage Dimsums and Noodles. The chicken cabbage dimsums were really tasty while the soup dimsums were not so good. Overall experience was fine.
Ordered $50 worth of breakfast for two people (pricey, but not my main issue here). Order was incorrect (1 persons mocha was missing), instructions for additional toppings and things on the side not followed at all (they dont understand that a refund for what is missing, is absolutely, 100% missing the point). One person gets to eat, the second doesnt and/or food gets cold. They werent even willing to rectify the missing toppings. If you cannot resolve by bringing what was paid, then the entire platter and a persons expectations and desire to still eat what they didnt order drastically changes the experience, but... what shocks me most was when I called back to explain what happened... No apologies for messing up the order, worker copped a really bad attitude, extremely rude and essentially told me that if I wanted to, I could resolve through GrubHub, because the worker clearly couldnt be bothered to make things right. Will NEVER order from here again. Shocked by their lack of customer service and professionalism.
I m sorry to have to do this but the obscenity of the prices has forced my hand. Outrageously expensive food utterly disproportionate to the outcome. I m sure they ll survive this review, but don t let your wallet suffer!
Ordered the Nussbaum Classic on an everything bagel. Was too salty and overall unpleasant, although the smoked salmon was good. Cashier seemed to have an attitude, and bagel also came toasted although I did not order it that way. Disappointing for spending nearly $15 on a single bagel. Was intrigued by the concept, but unfortunately will not be returning.
great food but give them 10 tries and they won t get your order right
I am vegetarian and after ordering off their vegetarian menu I was served dough drenched in excessively sweet sauce. Not great for the 20$
Food is ok way to overpriced & they messed up my order TWICE! Simple instructions they can t seem to follow it s frustrating
Good impossible soup dumplings.
This was my first visit. They make their own bagels which are very tasty!! Good selection of spreads for the bagels. Great timely service & friendly staff. I also loved that they had outdoor seating especially some on the side street where there was less foot traffic. I highly recommend this place for breakfast!! Part 2 of review: I went by this morning & had a deliciously fresh onion bagel with low cream spread!!! Sooooo good!!
If this is a cream cheese bagels and I m not sure I m in New York. Honestly, the bagel is good but I asked for butter and cream cheese and what the hell is this
Quick, yummy meal. We had beef lo mein and steamed dumplings. The mango green tea was also good.
Food is decent, but the people at the counter were some of the rudest people Ive seen. One short guy was grumpy from the very beginning. Was not very helpful and got my order wrong. I literally asked for a platter and a large coffee and he gave me a bagel and a small coffee. When I came back to pick up my food, the guy just nods into the general direction on where my food is supposed to be, which I didnt even know was my food, and I stood there for 3 seconds waiting for my food as after handing him my beeper, he just turned to the side. There was a taller guy who was actually nice and helpful, but he was the nicest person at the time. The gals were fine, but that one short guy makes me not want to come back here.
My favorite Salmon bagel place in nyc so so far
Blueberry bagel had anise which was weird. Price is a little high.
No tufo??? Other then this everything was good!
Amazing bagels, decent coffee, incredible Chinese food, really good vegan options/meat substitutes! One of my favorite places near campus.
This is a great place for both ramen and bagels. Everything is so tasty. Highly recommend the new impossible dumplings, so delicious!
Bagels, noodles, dumplings, and smoothies and they do ALL of it well. I ve had so many delicious things at Wu & Nussbaum and I ve enjoyed all of it. I love their pan fried pork dumplings and general tso s and i love their BLT bagel and peanut butter smoothie. Definitely a great way to make multiple parties happy. Vegetarian options: Several dishes including the dumplings have options and many impossible options as well Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and veg options Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading to inside the restaurant and most tables can be configured to accommodate a wheelchair.
Forgot my order- chicken noodle soup had no flavour although the pork belly noodle soup was amazing. Food was warm but not hot. Tapioca pearls were very hard and the staff were not particularly friendly. Music was awesome though.
Disgusting. The food is packed with MSG and it made me ill. I knew something was wrong with it when I tasted it and even gave the supervisor a full bowl barely eaten. He looked at me and basically told me to F off.
Ordered an acai bowl, was soupy when I got it. I guess that s what you get when they re priced below everyone else
Stopped in with a friend. Decent vegetarian choices. Service was nice. Place was very clean.
The best place to take your Vegan friends! Vegetarian options: The fried rice can be made with vegetables only. Dietary restrictions: Vegan Beyond Burger Pea Protein Meat
This restaurant needs to fix their ventilation system. There was a cloud of haze and grease throughout the dining area that just smells unpleasant. Also, the staff was unfriendly and could be more pleasant.
Good salad bowel for health conscious Columbia students and fresh bagle with different Cream decent foods. Vegetarian options: Decent salad bowl
Tasty noodles and steamed items from friendly efficient staff in no nonsense, tiled surroundings
I love their cold sesame noodle and mapo tofu!!
Ordered a breakfast sandwich and 3 plain bagels. I m not sure who made these bagels but they were ROCK HARD and there was no rise or fluffiness to the bagel. Delivery was fast but disappointing food
Good memories
Been going here for a year or two and finally decided to leave a review. They have pretty good bagels but its such a shame because theyre ruined if you get toppings. Whatever you do, do not get butter or cream cheese on your bagel - they put way too much on, to the point where its inedible. They dont seem to respond to instructions to put a very small amount on, etc. Also overall pretty poor customer service/watch out to make sure they dont forget your order or get it mixed up. Walk a few blocks down and spend your money on absolute baglels - its cheaper and better.
Today I picked up a bacon egg sandwich and could taste the freezer burn the whole time.
Get bacon egg and cheese here from time to time and they have great bagels.
Ive never eaten here I work in the area but it is very popular its Jewish and Chinese. Very nice decor, very clean at the moment of course you can eat outdoors, take out or delivery. When I do eat there I will revise.
Great everything bagel, cant beat it
No place offers better plain bagels than Nu and Wussbaum, nor can one find elsewhere coffee that exhilarates the soul to so high a degree. This is my favorite place to go to when Im too tired to walk beyond the street corner nearest my apartment. I always leave Nu and Wussbaum feeling happier than when I arrived.
The bagels were pretty decent, not too shabby but not mindblowing either. We ordered some breakfast bagels, and the bagels themselves were very fluffy but also chewy at the same time. The spread wasnt seasoned enough in my opinion, but the size was quite large and extremely filling. I really liked the space as well. Sitting outside on a sunny day is so soothing, especially for people watching! May or may not come back, overall a good place to go for bagels.
I live in the neighborhood and I ve always heard about this spot from a few classmates, but I never tried it until tonight. I ordered the chicken fried rice, general TSO chicken, and pan fried pork dumplings. Everything was impeccable. I gotta try their famous bagels, next. With that said, I believe it s safe to say that I ve found my new favorite place.
Friendly service high prices poor tasting Unchicken & Broccoli was not worth the $18.45.
I order constantly, food is always delivered warm, and tastes great.
Ok, its expensive, but their bagel, Nova cream cheese offering (with capers and red onion) is perfection. Dumplings are doughy but decent, however, the portions are small. Maybe just go for the bagel menu.
Very good in general. Everything bagel is too salty, so I would not recommend it if you dont like salty food.
Very good
My favorite place they never go wrong. The staff is amazing
Very good Foods and place were very nice and comfortable
This was our second time trying Wu and Nussbaum as we had a good bagel experience prior. When we came home and opened our sandwiches, what looked like a hair ball from a drain came spilling out. I called the restaurant and while they gave us a refund, I don t feel comfortable eating here again. I have no idea how something like this would even get near the food they prepare but we are completely grossed out.
Excellent food
Bagels were awesome
It tastes awful.
Overall good. Local to Columbia U.
Comfortable outside seating. Morning bagel spot and afternoon noodles. Clever combination
Breakfast sandwiches and coffee. REALLY GREAT
I liked the service. The food is delicious. I ordered General Tso s unchicken . We ordered vegan dishes.
Chinese food and bagel food... whats not to like. Lots of customers but many hard working staff to keep everyone moving. A good place to grab a bite.
I thought I was getting soup but it was good
Hope they see this. I got their Bagel Package #3, ordered online to pick up. Six assorted bagels and two containers of cream cheese, $14.95. Nothing misleading here: They tell you exactly what youre getting: Those cream cheese containers are a quarter pound. I weighed one of them: 4 oz exactly. The problem is that two 4oz containers of cream cheese is not enough for 6 bagels. Its just enough for four bagels, slice and with a modest, even slightly stingy schmear on each side. So, add a third 1/4-pound container of cream cheese to the package. Increase the price if you have to, but $14.95 isnt exactly a bargain. Maybe the most important thing here is to warn customers: If you get this bagel package, youll need more cream cheese.
I had eaten 3 Impossible pan fried dumplings. I wolfed down the last 3. Very good and the dipping sauce was a great pairing.
Clean place. Evening taste delicious.
I was hospitalized due to severe abdominal pain after ordering a bagel from here. I do have food allergies which I shared with the staff when placing my order. It is unclear if it was food poisoning or an allergic reaction.
Absolutely delicious Xiao Long Bao. I would definitely come back for it. The pan fried dumplings were very good.
We went for the full service dinner. Low key and good Chinese food. Slightly on the pricy side but a good deal for no husstle eating out
Service could have been better. If you make a mistake with a bagel which requires a customer to come back after they left, the very least you can do is to treat them coffee on the house. This did not happen. Also missed the extra spread in the second bagel, which I did pay extra for. Disappointing.
Small portion for $13... Taste: ok Atmosphere: ok, can be noisy Repeat: I might try to taste bagel and spread.
I wish the service was better
Bagels are amazing!!
Bagel were on point
Its impossible to reach them by phone. None of the numbers on their site are current. What a shame. Ill order from elsewhere.
Best Chef Wu chicken dumplings
Overpriced and food was mediocre
Waited a full 20min to get 8 dumplings..dont go there unless you want to waste your time
Food was quick, staff was very attentive..but food was not spicey as advertised on the menu, and the only provided 1 type of noodle.
Great chicken broccoli and rice, cute cashier ;)
Its my first time. The customer service is great very clean and tidy atmosphere, with hand sanitizer.Did not have to wait very long for my order
Delicious meal outdoors under awning! Chicken & broccoli - very filling for 2 people.
Came for bagel - everything toasted with cream cheese, capers, tomato & onion. Bagel was burnt, cream cheese only on one side - I could recreate this at home and it would taste better. Ill stick with Broadway bagel on 101& Broadway - they are experts!
& together at last!
Korean dumplings noodle evenings, etc, plus, bagels deli fare mornings until 4 pm.
Noodle soup was very bland. It also had two strands of hair.
