After visiting the nearby cathedral, it suddenly started raining, so we went to a nearby restaurant and had a delicious meal so I couldnt take a photo. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is excellent!

I tried the sushi burrito for the first time and it was amazing. The inside is very calm and relaxing and the staff were all very friendly.

The clerk can speak Chinese, which is pretty good, and the portions are generous.

For 15$, at least give your customers a reasonable amount of protein. For the 3 proteins, they gave me one tempura shrimp cut in 3 pieces, tiny scoop of spicy tuna, and 2 crab sticks. Didn t even give a generous bonito flakes. Literally a pinch of bonito flakes was given to me.

Both Bowls and Sushi Burritos are equally delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful.

My son and I were on a way to eat at a different place when we spotted Hula Poke. Upon entering, the atmosphere is nothing crazy or fancy. Its not necessarily a bad thing. The options are simple... but the taste and freshness... will definitely put a smile on your face. The sushi burrito was delicious. As my son said, it fills you up with a clean satisfaction. The options are limited, but the combination is endless. A must visit.

Amazing. I order from Hula 1-2 times a week. Their portions are great (not itty bitty like most poke places) and the fish always tastes fresh. And they have a big assortment of toppings!

So freaking good. The ahi tuna turnt up higher than lil Wayne on crunk juice. I m telling you I was a walking hard on after strapping into this rocket and feeling the Gs. Eat here if you want to. If you don t; your loss. Manhattan sucks, but at least the food at Hula rips

Customized my own poke bowl with 2 proteins (tuna & salmon). Love how they let you be free and choose almost as much or as little toppings, sauces, etc. My order catered to me and it was so delicious . I finished every last drop. This place is somewhat close my home and my now husband used to come here a lot, but havent since before the pandemic. This is the first time ordering again post pandemic and I forgot how much miss this place. Majority of the time the ingredients are fresh and just right. Highly recommend!

Hula Poke never misses. In store, the staff is always friendly and efficient, and for online orders, delivery is prompt and the food arrives in perfect condition. The facility is extremely clean and fresh, and while Ive never sat in to dine, theres always plenty of seating open. Hula Poke is always my first choice for fresh, healthy food on the go!

Awesome Poke! Love coming here with my friends after school. Its perfect for a girl like me who doesnt like raw fish, because they have a couple substitutes (chicken and tofu). There are many assorted toppings and the food just exceeds my expectations! The atmosphere is also very nice, and the staff are very helpful and kind. Come here when visiting the Upper West Side!

I like the various options for the poke bowls, for example this is one of the few places where you can add cooked eel. They also have cool Japanese novelty drinks.

Good, should have asked for less sauce

Usually, I place a Seamless order and pick it up. Always quick, correct, and ready. Dining in, the experience is much of the same. Bowl was assembled quickly, accurately, and youre eating delicious food in minutes.

3.5 stars. The service was good and the food was tasty. There was a lot of rice (no surprise) in the custom eel poke bowl. A hit more expensive than Id like but if it means that they dont have to raise prices frequently, thats ok.

Its just okay. Not sure why it has a high rating. The music is so loud you cant hear what the people are saying behind the counter. The protein portion is quite small. There is nothing really special about this place to be honest.

DELICIOUS FOOD . Its fresh and many varieties to choose from. This is the Best Poke bowl Ive ever had and Ive had Poke bowls from different places including states.

I get the Geisha Crunch bowl every time. In the comments, I ask for spinach as a base instead of rice and they do it without issue. Love it.

Love the food

Im new to US and after days of unhealthy food, I tried this place. Im so content with their food. Its a balanced diet, not too salty or too much carbohydrates unlike average resturants in NYC. The only thing is their price is on the expensive side. I wish they had some kind of reward system for people who buy often from them.

Best poke on yours

I placed the order on Uber eats 10 mins before the last order time (7:35pm), restaurant closed at 8pm. Hula poke accepted my order. However, I ve been waiting for almost an hour for my order to come. Then I got contacted by the delivery guy said the restaurant is closed at 8:30pm! The poor guy is waiting out the restaurant to pick up my order and no body it there!! I want to support the local business and this is what I got in a return???? If you re not able to fulfill my order why you accept it????!!!!! WORST RESTAURANT EVER!!!!!

WELL, my salmon poke bowl either entirely didn t have any fish in it or I just got smooshed salmon-flavored paste. Couldn t tell sauce from salmon paste. Only refraining from giving 1 Star bc ingredients otherwise we re pretty good.

It was all good until a guy working in the store yelled at you for taking delivery bag that belongs to you. Never went ever since. Should teach staff how to treat customer nicely.

Food is great. However, I order delivery only (via Ubereats) and one out of every three times I order my poke bowl is completely devoid of any poke. If I just wanted a salad with no fish I would make that at home rather than spend $20 on it. How do you forget the poke in a poke bowl? This has happened multiple times so I will not be ordering delivery from here anymore. If I am ever in the area I will just go there in person. Unfortunately, you have lost a regular customer.

Customer service was horrible. While waiting for them to pull the ingredients for my order they served minimum 10 people before me. I didn t mind waiting but it was the manager s disgusting attitude that sent me over. I asked for sushi burritos and they had already started making sushi bowls. I requested that my order be corrected and the manager refused claiming that sushi burritos and sushi bowls are the same thing. Just rude. Not going back. The food is not worth bad service.

Very good poke! There isnt much to say, I found the staff friendly and the food was tasty and what I expected from a poke ball. One thing that would have made it slightly better would have been to use fresh pinaple. Nonetheless it was great and I enjoyed my food. Watchout, the spicy tuna is really spicy, not slightly, which I think is great. Overal Ill visit again and recommend this place.

I love this place and come here about once a week. The staff has gotten to know me, and best of all, they ALL seem to remember the nuances and specifics regarding my order (I usually order the same thing every time). The restaurant is always clean and the offerings and portions are consistently fresh and fantastic. I highly recommend this place for poke or a sushi burrito!

The food here is fresh and delicious and served up quick. I bought the tempura shrimp, boiled shrimp, cucumbers, red cabbage, shredded carrots, crab salad, Seaweed salad, nori, mango, and pineapple over white rice with siracha mayo. I love this place and I eat here three times per week.

I got the spicy tuna and spicy salmon poke. The amount of salmon and tuna was so tiny that I literally thought they forgot to add it. It took me a moment to realize the quarter sized pink thing on the side of the bowl was the protein. This was a first and a last for me.

Great place with great food!

I like this place and eat here often. Its a no frills joint for poke bowls and sushi burritos. I always get the burrito, and they always accommodate my request to go easy on the rice. Good sushi burrito filling options and the quality and portion sizes are good and consistent. The place is clean and theres a nice view of the cathedral across the street.

Great food and great service

Hula Poke is my favorite spot for lunch. The people that work there are great and quite generous when preparing your meal. The food is great and the atmosphere is welcoming as it is, but they continue to find ways to improve. Most recently, they started serving ramen. I haven t tried it yet because I like the poke bowls so much, but I ll get to it.

One of the worst dining experience in new york... I ordered a Ramen and waited for nearly half an hour without any food served and the staff simply said SHE HAD NO IDEA :) So I left :) Will never ever come to this place again

Choose your protein and picking your toppings + sauce. This place is pretty much exactly what youd expect. Its totally okay, especially for a quick meal. There is a bowl or a burrito option and if you pick the bowl you can really pile it up with toppings at no extra charge. The place has a student vibe. Theres water you can help yourself too. The restroom is clean. The staff is friendly.
