Manchu Wok in Newmarket

Basic food court location but service is fast and portions OK. Very consistent Manchu Wok food (which we like). The THREE vs TWO uses the same containers but a little more in the three see the photo where the left one has three items. Parking: Mall parking so can be a bit of a walk sometimes.

Horrible. Dry with no taste. Small portion. and overpriced.

No flavour, chicken was dry, spring roll was mush and disgusting. Plus way overpriced!!! I will never go back again.

Food was cold brought it back and they microwaved it (in the styrofoam container!!!) Still cold spots. No manager on weekend. Terrible. Will never go there again.

They load you up with noodles or rice and give very small portions for the sides.

Overpriced and absolutely no taste. Friendly service, thats the only good thing.

Please teach your employees how to speak English and how to make food

Ripoff for $20 bucks June 23/2024 other locations give you way more food . What a ripoff , 3 chicken balls , wow , don t go there !

$23 for a 3 item combo and a bottled pop which is reasonable. Payed with CC and wasn t even offered a receipt .

$14.00 for noodles and a chicken dish that was filled with 4 pieces of chopped chicken breast. I returned it to let the cashier know and she added 2 more small chicken breast, total of six . This is ridiculous!

The staff were extremely rude after we had already paid for our meals and asked for an extra fork.

Blah food. I had got fried rice. Orange chicken sweet pork. So bad. Food was completely lacking salt. Seemed like rice were cooked with watered down Soy sauce. as they had 0 salt and were really bland. Sweet n sour chicken was ONLY SWEET with no salt or sourness. Maybe just some red food colouring. All this for only 15-16bucks. Price was ok but HORRIBLE FOOD.

The food was great and the spring roll was delicious.

The service was horrible, attitude from the workers. They give you absolutely nothing for an over priced meal. Do not go here

Soso food at a premium price. $19.72 tax in for a 3 item combo and they want an extra 50cents for hot sauce. Food was barely warm. Shrimp and veg was cold. Wont be back.

This is the best Manchu wok! I got lunch there yesterday, the Shanghai noodles and honey garlic chicken, and the chicken was absolutely delicious! I usually frequent the Promenade location and in the past but there was a location at Hillcrest Mall and it s like night and day. I believe they use white meat in there honey garlic chicken and it was tender and flavorful. Funny enough, I just want to go back to upper Canada mall to get Manchu wok again! The lady who served me was also extremely friendly. Can t wait to go back!

Best lunch option in the mall! Always gives me a nostalgic feeling eating from this spot. I would ve given it 5 stars but I ve noticed portion size isn t consistent. Regardless I ll still be coming back as the staff is so nice and always says hi when I walk by.

rude people and food is trash

After my daughter ate at this restaurant she told me shes not feeling well she wants to go to the car. Within 15 minutes she was throwing up from food poison. We almost end up at the hospital.

They only provide 1 fork for each combo and charge extra 0.25 for each additional cup or plate or spoon. I have never seen any place like this place

I love Manchu Wok, food is great! But I can say this location is quite lacking compared to others Ive been to when it comes to portions and service. Every where else Ive been, they literally load the containers full, but here they hardly even give you any noodles or rice. On top of that they never ask you if you have manchu wok rewards or even give you a card for it like they do at other locations... That being said, their honey garlic chicken is always amazing, but their sweet and sour pork is okay at the most. Might try something different next time Im at this mall.

I like their food but the repeatedly bad customer service makes me want to consider other vendors from now on. Really strange people that make you feel uncomfortable & dont even make eye contact with you. They look like they re serving a prison sentence for working here. Portions are really small. Also, be very careful, I presented a SPC card to them and they deducted the discount off of a two item plate, when I had a three item plate.

The quality of the food and the service of this location remains consistent. This is something I greatly appreciate

This is a very good Manchu Wok location and I always enjoy it here when I go to this mall. It is always the best place to choose at this mall because the food is fresh and hot, has all my favourites and the service is the quickest in the mall for hot food ready quickly. I also like their efficient and friendly service. Cindy was great and she quickly personally added in my wifes order when she got tired of waiting at the Thai place a couple spots down. We will be back

The best thing here is the Shanghai noodles and honey garlic chicken. I do find the food to be quite pricey for the amount that you get. They do tend to skimp on the meat.

I love Chinese food! Their food is great but for the prices should be more food portions!! And for 3 items for $14-15 bucks you should get more And the chicken balls are so small!! But over all great food!

Good stuff but they got the order wrong

It is my first time to order lunch food at Manchu wok in upper Canada mall. Before I ordered any three item (around $14.xx) package, i do confirmed with the waitress any three of them is $14.xx. She said yes. But later, i found that they charged me the seafood (any item with small shrimps) for extra $1. I hope they can reminder me earlier when I ordered. No one can see small print on the above Ad board clearly, when it is really small text and sit on bottom right corner. Eventually, I paid $18.xx for 3 items. The food is good.

The service was prompt and the food was all plentiful. It tasted consistently good, like what I was expect from Manchu Wok.

This location is the best,it s amazing and the manager Maggie is awesome easy to talk to and helps make your order fresh and personalize . I talked to her a few times and she was awesome to deal with and the food is always very fresh and very tasty and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! They actually care about their clients and customers!

It was delicious! Only thing, didn t come with soya sauce or chop sticks or utensils. Specifically asked for utensils and never came with. Quit a bit over priced for the portions.

I wish I could give this location zero stars but google won t let me. I ve been to a few locations and have never had such a poor experience. The staff were great I have no issues there but the food was horrid. This was the first time I could not finish a meal from here, I genuinely felt sick to my stomach and nauseous after eating only half of what I ordered. The chicken tasted as though I was just eating mass, the sauce tasted aged. I don t think I ll be coming back to this location ever again.

Great food good amount of great service

Good, fast food/steam table, food court, Chinese food, at a fair price. They have the basic, rice or noodles + your choice of 1,2, or 3 items. The items include vegetables or meat, dishes, plus they have add-on items, like spring and egg rolls. I ordered the 2 item combo, I choose the, lo mein noodles, green beans, and broccoli with shrimp. The portion was large, the food was fresh, the staff was friendly. Not the best Chinese food, but good enough when at the mall

Always liked this North American style, food-court Chinese food for a quick bite or taking out. Had pork, chicken and rice. You get a good helping for the price and the service is fast and helping. I would not eat it all the time but getting home late from skiing it was a good choice

Food tastes good but portions are off I got 4 small chicken balls and a container of rice for 9$

I ordered the Rice, Chicken and Vegetables dish. The chicken was deep fried and so dry and chewy and Rice was old and dry. Wasted my money over this dish. Not recommending this location to anyone. There are other fast food in the mall which offers better food quality.

The staff are always very friendly. Sometimes the food can be a bit dry but what can you expect when they have it siting out ready for you to order it in an instant. They always serve their lineups quickly, fastest service in the food court.

Ive been here a few times and enjoyed the food, but today I had it, and then started to feel sick. Will definitely not come back...

I wasnt aware that they were opened up back at the mall..we ordered 2 x3 items and was pleased with the flavor the amount of food and price.staff was pleasant.will definitely be back.

Amazing food , don t listen to other customer about how the workers faces look . It s fast food, not a restaurant. You get your food and go. You don t need a greeting from them. They have great food and I haven t had one bad experience in Upper Canada Mall with them.

Very Disappointed. Food was ok but the portion was way to small for the price. $17 I paid and did not fill me. Should have gone to Wendys for a fat burger.

The food tastes as though the chef rushed everything or heated up meals that were days old. The one in Upper Canada Mall is much better.... Nice staff though.

Worst chinese Ive ever eaten. Food tastes old and as if it has been reheated in the microwave. Funny thing is they have signs that say no msg which is an infamous preservative so i guess it makes sense. Very friendly staff though.

Food is below average quality, feels like they use way too much sauce and bread on their meat diahes. Whole place looks like some money laundering business with so little customers coming through.
