Veal, panzo, steak or any pasta... you can't go wrong with the large portions and amazing food quality. Just remember always say the 3 yeses. Lol ( you will get it when they are putting your sandwich together) The staff is always in a good mood and the place looks good and inviting
This is comfort Italian Food at its best. It's large portions, fresh ingredients and worth EVERY calorie!!! I had veal on a bun with ALL the toppings 😛. And it did not disappoint! I'm going to have to run extra kms later but on the other hand I won't be hungry again until the weekend. Although I could only eat half of it (because I promised my love one at home I'd share 😒) So, I topped up with their side of penne pasta. And I was immediately reminded of Nonna's Big bowls of pasta. The sauce is so good I bought 4 jars to take home. Their spicy sauce has a good kick I blend it with the regular for my delicate palate. Let's be Frank! They know what their doing!! Wear track pants and thank me later.
In Aurora and Newmarket, authentic Italian spots are few and far between, but when I'm in the mood for a quick Italian sandwich or some pasta, I always go to Let's Be Frank. You can count on them for consistently fresh food. For lunch, I highly recommend their Veal Sandwich.
Let’s be Frank, this is the Best Italian steak sandwich in Newmarket. Very kind staff, great ambiance with the kitchen right in front of you, seeing all the fresh ingredients. Highly recommend to get the steak sandwich with all the fixings (Monday-Friday), it was delicious! Cold Brio to pair and Tiramisu for the sweet tooth. You can add hot peppers, chili, peppers, chilli oil, an extra Parmesan at the side table (I did). Excellent experience. Will be back with friends & family a lot more.
Being frank as requested, this is a great place of you want to try out cooked Costco food. I was super disappointed to order the ravioli only to find out that it was literally from Costco (check the freezer out kept in the seating area), breaking the perception of being served with freshly made pasta at an Italian place. I bet there's so much more Kirkland stuff served here, I could recognize the tiramisu, red velvet etc ..all from Costco.
A little disappointed with this place. It’s a cafeteria style restaurant where you order up front at the cashier. Food quality was really just so-so. We ordered pasta, veal parmigiana, and eggplant parmigiana. The eggplant was okay but the veal parmigiana was cold. Price is more expensive compared to other cafeteria style Italian restaurants as well, but the quality doesn’t measure up. Not sure if we’d go back again.
Let's Be Frank Italian Eater is an absolute gem that I highly recommend to all Italian food enthusiasts. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a clean and inviting atmosphere, accompanied by a delightful aroma that immediately whetted my appetite. The staff were incredibly friendly, providing exceptional service that made me feel like a valued guest. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh boy, it was outstanding! The flavors were authentic and mouthwatering, truly capturing the essence of traditional Italian cuisine. Each dish was prepared with love and attention to detail, resulting in a culinary experience that was simply superb. The menu offered a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes, and every bite left me wanting more. The seating area was intimate, creating a cozy and comfortable ambiance. It felt like dining in a well-run family-owned establishment, which added to the overall charm of the place. The limited parking was a minor inconvenience, but well worth it for the dining experience that awaited inside. All in all, Let's Be Frank Italian Eater is a must-try for anyone seeking authentic and delicious Italian cuisine. With its incredible food, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere, I can confidently say that I will be back for more. Don't miss out on this wonderful dining experience!
Very good food, I had a grilled chicken sandwich with a slice of eggplant and mushrooms, very delicious. I also tried their Caesar salad, it was very creamy and yummy. Will definitely go back for more. That was the food. On a separate note, I think people who are working here can be more friendly, a smile goes a long way.
Amazing Italian deli and dine in I stopped at Newmarket for an errand and this place caught my eye with its name I tried the veal parmigiani sandwich and was thoroughly satisfied. Two veal cutlets showered in meat sauce, between a huge bun, with shrooms, cheese, peppers, and other toppings. The sandwich was huge and very tasty. Even half the sandwich kept me full for most of the day. This was so good that if I were closer to Newmarket, I would try their pizza, spaghetti and pasta dishes, other sandwiches, coffee, and pizzas as I am sure the quality of those must be good as well The dine in area has self serve condiments in including parmesan. The dine in space is nice and cozy, well maintained, tidy, and nicely decorated with appropriate themed regalia. This is how food should be. Its humorous that there is a McDonalds across the restaurant that is serving much less impressive food for about the same fare and people skip Franks. Shame. There should not be a McDonalds there with Franks here Vegetarian options: The pastas could be vegetarian Parking: Plenty of store-front parking adjacent to several other businesses and adjacent to a busy main road Kid-friendliness: Family oriented place
Always great
Great place.
Delicious food and very efficient staff!
Cozy place with great food.
I ve been before I ordered a veal sandwich. It was cold and had a salad. Sorry it s not the best Italian restaurant in Newmarket. It s more like a cafeteria restaurant and everything from Costco. Over priced $30. 3 stars nothing more.
Excellent food.
Wow, I didnt realize there was a sit down area, its beautiful! The employees are lovely and helpful, and food was amazing! Food
The best veal sandwich in Nemarket, hands down.
I m visiting this place a few times per year , what I love about them is food quality consistency. You should try at least once. Seeing is believing!!! Thank you for a wonderful atmosphere and food quality .
Food is delicious. Alittle pricey but delicious.
Great chicken parm sandwiches, colossal steak sandwiches in a nice place. Parking can be a pain but certainly worth it. Come hungry!
We ordered catering package and everyone was so impressed with the flavours of everything. From veal to each of the pastas, spaghetti and fetuucine Alfredo, and the mixed vegetables. Everyone commented on how delicious everything tasted and we have so much left overs. Many of the guests have asked for the name of the restaurant and where we got our food. Thank you Frank!!
There was no good smell in the food and when I ate it, I was sick for 2 days
Hits the spot every time.
VERY authentic Italian food. Veal and pasta to die for. We travel 30km. to get food from here. Anytime we are within 10km. is a great reason to go.
Good Italian style food. Steak sandwich is huge and delicious.
Amazing place, not only is their food DELICIOUS, we had the chicken parm sandwich . Also I have to say one more thing, their kindness when they found out we were buying for someone in the hospital literally brought tears to our eyes. I will forever support them. Thank you, it s really amazing how the kindness of strangers sometimes restores your faith in humankind. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts
I stopped here for a veal sandwich and was disappointed that each topping was extra (even simple ones like onions and hot sauce). The veal was a bit chewy, especially given that a sandwich and drink was 22$. I couldnt find a table that had been wiped after the last person so I had to find the least dirty table, which is disappointing as it wasnt very busy so Im not sure why the service was lacking. All in all, I wouldnt recommend this place as the food is not worth the high prices, and the dine-in service is lackluster which is a shame because the atmosphere is lovely. If youre looking for a really good veal-on-a-bun in Newmarket, youd be better off making the trip to Yonge and Sawmill Valley to go to Molisana. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps in this restaurant and theres a good amount of space between the tables, so its good for wheelchair accessibility.
Nice place tried the chicken sandwich with tomato sauce really simple and good.
Great food. Their tiramisu is better than many in Italy. The veal is perfect. All the food and drinks perfect. They serve Moretti beer. Beautiful!
Food is constantly delicious. Staff are welcoming and helpful
Great old school Italian spot. Big portions, pasta tasted fresh and the sauces seemed to be from scratch which would be appreciated and a pleasure. Service great. The takeout trays definitely serve the people count and more. Parking: Parking out front. Kid-friendliness: Its pasta, kids love it.
The lasagna was very delicious
We had our family Easter dinner catered by Let s be Frank and it was fabulous! I didn t have to spend all day in the kitchen and my family thoroughly enjoyed their meals! Friendly and courteous service. I will definitely use this service again! - AM
So many options, I couldnt decide!!!
Everything was amazing. We re definitely coming back Food
Had no idea this place existed. Walked in and they made me a fresh veal and chicken sandwich. I m Italian and have high standards. WOW. For $10? can t believe people are going to the macdonalds next door. Thank you will be back monthly
Amazing food! Will be back!
Amazing food, amazing service. Love this place and can t say enough good about it and the owner. We use them often for catering as well. Highly recommend.
Delicious meals. Great value for the money. Weve been coming here for years for family meals and for catering. Weve never been disappointed. Food
The veal sandwich was excellent!
Great food and service
$18 for chicken parm sandwich and a bottle of water, which for how huge the sandwich was (plus all the toppings I added) is worth the price. Very fresh and the hot peppers added a nice little kick
We ordered catering once again, and were completely impressed with the food and the friendly service, as we always are. As the hot sandwiches were take-out, the meat, grilled onions, mushrooms, peppers and buns were all in separate containers. The portions were very generous, and everything was so delicious. The restaurant is not open on Sunday, but our order was made available late afternoon on Sunday for us, when we needed it. Dietary restrictions: We have allergy concerns. They are always very attentive, give us the info we need, and have always been able to accommodate us.
Great homemade flavour.
Had an issue with my online order. The meat sauce was super spicy and my kids couldn t eat it. Emailed them asking if my order got mixed up with someone else s and never heard back. Lost my business.
Food tastes good, but service is lacking and price is high. No one seemed happy working. I walked in.. wasnt greeted and stood at counter for almost 5 minutes before being acknowledged and asked if I had ordered. In todays economy to spend nearly $15 on a sandwich, I expect more.
Delicious food! Lets Be Frank Italian Eater is an absolute gem. Order from the front, and they bring the food to you. Friendly staff for an Italian restaurant. Wide variety of choices. Lets Be Frank Italian Eater is a must-try for anyone seeking authentic and delicious Italian cuisine.
So delicious sandwiches
I feel that when they opened the food was much better. I have been disappointed a few times now with bland tasting food - sometimes different pasta dishes indistinguishable from one another. Definitely feels like a level of care and quality has diminished Truly sorry because they are nice people.
I was told to go here by my crew in Newmarket. Now, it was fast. The lady maybe not so cheerful. I had the veal parm. Toppings were incredible and the size of the sandwich meets the price. I think the veal may have been in the tray a while as the breading was a little tough. But other than that it was a very good sammy. I would go back when I am in the area
Eat there quite often Food is always good
had our VP at work bought full tray of Penne Alla Vodka (you can also add chicken if want) for our Christmas party had some super delicious that my co-workers was raving about it at work...even to the point we were fighting to bring the left overs home lol....I had to go there and get my own half tray of Penne Alla Vodka literally the best homemade pasta I ever had at a restaurant SOOOO good! Staff are wonderful and friendly ^_^ definitely will recommended this restaurant to everyone who wants yummy homemade pasta!!!
If you order tomatoes on your pizza specify if you want sliced if not you get diced tomatoes they use for the bruschetta. My pizza tasted like bruschetta bread??
Great local treat! Their veal sandwich is amazing!
We have eaten here a few times when visiting our daughter and it s been great! Today (Monday), it wasn t very good We ordered veal sandwiches and the bun was stale, the veal wasn t as tender Was disappointed
Great food and great service. I would definitely return.
Meant to be 5 stars. Excellent food and staff
Got a bit of attitude from the lady behind the counter. Food was decent.
Lets Be Frank Italian Eatery, is a top of the line establishment owned and operated with passion, love and kindness. 100% recommended.
Didnt eat in so hard to rate the atmosphere. LOOOVE their spicy olives. Place to go for Spicy olives anywhere. Food : 5/5
Tasty and huge steak sandwich makes you sleep for a few hours. Highly recommended, if you have enough time.
Great sandwich. Friendly staff. Cosy atmosphere!
Amazing portions, delicious food, super friendly service. Had the meatball sandwich. Great flavour in the meatballs, delicious bread. Overall a lovely experience. Will definitely be back!
Great food, service, and price. A must try...
Yes Let us be frank... very frank indeed. This is an Italian style sandwich and pizza shop on Davis Drive In Newmarket right near a McDonalds and Wendys/Tim Hortons. It was the crack of noon and they advertised on a billboard as the best veal sandwich in town. A guy outside said all the sandwiches are good but he just was at Mr Sub and he didnt eat veal out of principles. So I ordered the chicken sandwich which comes in at $9.95 and any toppings are extra. The owner or worker told me that fully loaded this was around $16. Thats a bit steep if you ask me so I stuck to the chicken sandwich with no additional toppings. He had ONE piece of chicken ready in the warmer tray and proceeded to dunk it in sauce and put it on the bun. This is one tiny piece of breaded chicken. I am used to California Sandwiches and by comparison this is almost the same price and maybe half the chicken as California Sandwiches. You are basically getting an $8.50 tiny piece of chicken and a $1 bun with a smidge of sauce. This is perhaps the biggest rip off in the sandwich venues available on Davis Drive or in fact anywhere. Absolutely a terrible value and a fairly run of the mill sandwich. It is basically a giant bun with a touch of sauce and small piece of chicken. Clearly I am not the only one unimpressed since this was 12 noon and there was only one other person in the store. Everywhere else in the mall was jammed. I would highly suggest people avoid this place since its as easy as falling off a rock to find a better product and value. Popeyes even with the raised prices is cheaper and bigger and better. Even McDonalds with the new Chicken Big Mac at around $7 you are getting two pieces of chicken. Just look at the photo. You go to California and the chicken is falling out of the bun. Even Pizza Nova at just over $10 includes hot or sweet peppers and its not all bun. Lets Be Frank.. if I wanted a bun sandwich I could just go home. In no way worth the money REALITY check to owner. ALL the other real Italian places make their food from scratch. California Sandwiches has been around since the 1960s. The Nonas in the back used to be making the stuff from scratch since forever. Lots of places in Vaughan make it from scratch. But they dont gouge on price and skimp on portion size.
Got the chicken fettuccine it wasn t good at all!!! I spent 25$ on this it s not worth it at all! Chicken is dry and pasta is a little over cooked and the sauce is super watery. I will not be returning.
Great guys behind the counter and tasty food!
Great italian restaurant! Been ordering veal sandwiches from here for years now. Excellent italian food, highly recommended. Make sure to order the veal sandwich fully loaded :)
Not from here. On business. Decided to order for delivery. It was delicious. I ordered chicken limone. Lovely cream sauce. Two chicken pieces. Mushrooms, plus a side pasta and garlic bread. Very tasty.
This is for the chicken sandwich. Ill echo what others say. $20 for the sandwich with toppings and a drink? Very steep for a warm sandwich. I came during lunch and didnt have time to wait but I will try the panzerotti to give a fair chance if something made fresh to order is better than the sandwich
To start with, they got my order wrong - asked for no onions but there were so many.. Pasta itself tasted okay, but picking onions out was a nightmare. And garlic bread was only soft and garlicky only on one side, and really dry on the other. Honestly expected better based on the reviews..
We regularly pick up the veal sandwiches, rice balls and the Caesar salad. All delicious, generous servings, well priced and consistently prepared. The rice balls taste exactly as I remember from Italy (Rome) circa 1972. Never a disappointing meal and always friendly service. Absolutely recommend!
The food is good, the portion is good, but I find it overpriced.
Amazing place. I travel a good distance to come here and its worth it every single time. I have tried many items and each one has me coming back for more. The owner is an amazing friendly guy. I would talk with him more if I wasnt shoving his delicious food in my face.
most generous and kind owners/staff, make you feel like you re family. It also helps that the food is delicious:)
Some dishes are great while some are not. Im not a huge fan of the spaghetti and meatballs and the meat lasagna. It just doesnt do it for me. But the Tortellini and vegetable lasagna is incredible! Best in the city. Their Greek salad is fantastic. The restaurant itself is a vibe. Staff is friendly, and the frozen options are great. Vegetarian options: I tried the vegetarian lasagna when I was visiting my aunt. Its the reason I travel from Markham to Newmarket for their food. The veggie lasagna is phenomenal!
Highly recommend this restaurant, their fresh ingredients and large portions ensure you wont leave hungry. Definitely coming back!
Great pizza!
So simple but so delicious
Let s be real this place has fresh ingredients, caring attentive staff, a chill casual atmosphere can grab and go, eat in, takeout pre-packed meals. really like this place!
The food is delicious! It was our first time ever eating here. We re from the U.S.A and this was the best Italian food we ve ever had!
Best Pasta ever had in my 28 years on the planet, great pizza s too, super nice chef/ service
Always a great place to get food. Super quality and taste
Been coming here for several years. Always enjoyed our meals. Made fresh while you wait, or order on line
The best Italian food in newmarket
Had the pansarotti it was so good baked to perfection.
Ordered a panzarotti, was very quick, and tasted amazing. There was a guy who gave me a free sauce when I asked for garlic sauce, very good pace to try
Its okay. The vibe is more cafeteria than sit-down restaurant, but seems to do a brisk lunch trade. You order when you first enter, with seating around the corner. The menu is on giant boards attached to the wall. If you order an entree, the food will be brought to your table. If its a sandwich, its made at the counter while you wait. Some of the front staff seemed unhappy to be there. The food came out quickly and was hot, but didnt have the fresh flavor we had been expecting for the price. Thankfully, there is a side table with salt and pepper packets, dried chili flakes, and a large bowl of grated parmesan. We had originally planned to also get dessert, but couldnt justify the cost for the size and appearance of the cake slices.
By far the best veal sandwiches in Newmarket, any time of day, any day of the week lets be frank delivers everytime. This is my go to and will be for as long as Im in Newmarket!
Gem of a spot! Steak sandwich is a must
The sauce is so fresh and yummy! My son loves the meatballs and my hubbie was impressed with the Lamb Shank special. I love the eggplant parmesan and cant get enough of the riceballs!
Very good chicken parm sandwich. Excellent service.
Great food at a reasonable price. Love their sandwiches, pastas and salads.
cant beat the steak sandwich. awesome.
They just throw something in a box for delivery even if its not what you order. Would rate zero stars if it was an option.
Pasta made fresh and hot- and the chicken parm is great. Highly recommend
Amazing food the people that own it are very nice
Very nice place. Great food.
Delicious food! I ve had take out numerous times, but finally went in to eat. Cute little spot to dine. Lovely staff also.
Great Italian food
Great lasagna and veal on a bun
Im disappointed and wont be coming back. It was my first time. All lunch meals were $19.99, nothing less. The board said that some sandwiches were $9.99. I didnt see the sign that every topping was extra. The server asked me nonchalantly if I want cheese, onion and mushrooms (I think), to which as I said yes, and was surprised to learn that this sandwich and a bottle of juice came to $19! The sandwich was okayish, but nothing special, no harmony of taste, and meat was way too saulty for my taste. Inside looked clean, but Im not sure why people say that the ambiance is great. There is nothing special, a typical lunch place with extraordinary prices.
Great food yummy
Food is amazing and the service makes you feel like home. Frank knows what he s doing.
Best food in town
I love this place everyone should try
The best pizza in town
Stopped in for lunch. We had the spaghetti with meatballs, chicken sandwich and Panzerotti. All were excellent and served fresh and hot!
Ordered a large pasta tray. Excellent quality and flavour. Highly recommended! Please keep up the great quality.
Always made fresh to order and great tasting food! Finally got to try the seafood risotto! If you havent yet, its simply delicious! Get there early before they sell out!
The fettuccine alfredo was so disappointing! Completely bland, clearly the chef did not taste the dish before sending it out : ( the wife ate the chicken, which also wasnt that great). HOW COULD THEY CHARGE FOR FOOD LIKE THIS. I DONT GET THE REVIEWS. The calzone is definitely a go to here...its worth easily 4 stars. The dough was fresh and the sauce is so tasty. What a waste of money for the pasta though. Paid $37.50 for both, should have gone somewhere else. I would not recommend this place. Sad :(
Ordered stake sandwich with 2 toppings and drink, charged me $22, the menu says $11 plus $1 for each topping, that should of been 13 plus the drink. Second time they over charged wont be back.
Ordered the Deluxe Pizza, it was absolutely delicious!!! Delivered right to me
Delicious food and big portions. Had a large order for six people and they were ready for pickup in only 20 minutes!
Best food , great customer service
The food!!! I have wanted to try this place since I moved here. And I was not disappointed! So great!
Food was amazing! Tried them for just individual meals which the family loved then ordered a large order from there catering menu! Our guests all raves about the food. Portions were massive and all delicious! 10/10
excellent
Ordered catering from here and everything was absolutely delicious!
Fan. Tas. Tic. Fresh, delicious, and stunningly speedy.
I have been lucky to travel around the world and try many restaurants in Canada and around the world, trust me Franks eatery is by far one of the best you can find , clean kitchen , professional dining area and man food tastes exquisite , top of the line , Thank you for giving us the joy , keep up the good work
The best lasagna I have had from a restaurant! The veal sandwich is great too!
Gnocchi and Meatball sandwich. Both delicious!!
Meals are quick and tasty and well priced. I had sausage and spinach with penne, the noodles nicely al dente. Cafeteria style, order and pay, they bring it to the table. Enjoyable meal!
We bought food from there last night and was so disappointed. There was barely any flavour to the pasta.. their chicken wings were awful! Again no flavour, salt or spices. The portion was not representative of the price as well. Never going there again.
This place is my happy place, the steak sandwiches and the chicken parm sandwiches as well as the hot table for meals is the best.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! :)
Good food with amazing service!
Always good food !
We stopped in for some lunch and the food was great. We had so much left over, we took it to-go and had enough food for dinner.
Ordered a catered dinner for 40 people and it was absolutely delicious! Everyone raved about the taste and authenticity. Lots of leftovers yummm!! LBF was also very accommodating when it came to providing meals for several gluten free guests. Always love the Let s be Frank experience!
The food is amazing. My daughter had an amazing pasta dish for lunch and brought home a lasagna for the family. Best lasagna ever - homemade and authentic Italian.
Amazing food. I feel the service is kind of like the soup place in seinfeld lol. But nice owners. They are there doing the work! A bit higher price but the quality is good and with todays food prices i think this is pretty understandable. Point is the food is good! Fresh and delicious.
Amazing food, big portions and lovely staff
Portions are huge and stake sandwich with mushroom and onion is super good
I ll caveat this with the fact that it was my first time here but I was not impressed. The veal was chewy and the experience ordering was poor - low lighted by a server who wouldn t crack a smile and a cook who sneezed directly in his hands. At least the owner came out to check if we had been served by his non attentive staff.
This place is amazing. My sister catered back in Feb and I was really empresses by how their presentation and how fresh and hot everything was. I went on Friday to order a veal sandwich with onion and peppers and a chicken parm for my girls and it was fantastic. The bread was incredibly fresh, their food station was really clean and everything was perfection. The gentlemen and lady at the front were great. I will definitely be a returning customer.
Excellent atmosphere. Amazing food and excellent value for money.
The best Italian foods in Newmarket! I tried Pizza and pasta a few times and each time I loved it, pizza crust is crispy and the pasta sauce is just right! The owner is also so nice and friendly, we already are regulars and I will recommend this place to everyone.
I use to eat lunch here all the time it was amazing. Yesterday I was severed a stone cold chicken parmesan sandwich for my to go lunch. No care and no effort from the staff.
If you like veal you have to go here Awesome sandwich!
The name sometimes is the reason you stop by a place. Decided to give them a try but I just went for the pizza and it was fantastic. The steak sandwiches looked fantastic as well and theyre known for their veal sandwich I guess. Has the back of the employees t-shirt said best veal in town. Frank the owner was very nice and friendly I will definitely go back and try a veal sandwich
Great food, excellent staff. Nice dining area.
The place is nice. Relaxed atmosphere, definitely has the potential to be better. Liquor licenced, so thats a plus. I went on a weekday afternoon. They dont have any pizza slices. If you want pizza then you have to order a whole pizza. (Not great if youve never tried before.) The hot counter where you pick your food was a mess. They clearly dont clean up after helping each customer. I got the breaded chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was decent. The tomato sauce is literally a paste. Its supposed to be a hot counter. My sandwich was cold. The shredded cheese wasnt even melted, because the sandwich was cold. It was like eating shredded cheese out of a bag. My husband got the steak sandwich, & he had no complaints. The other unfortunate thing about this place is the seating. People leave their dishes & cups on the tables. Finding a clean place to sit is a task unto itself. In the time I was there, I didnt see 1 staff member clearing tables & wiping them down. The prices here are ridiculously high, considering the food quality your getting.
tasty veal sandwich could have been served hotter..it didnt melt the cheese which was grated
We had 2 veal sandwiches with all the trimmings: I would have preferred it a little warmer, but excellent in taste and quantity. I will come back!
Always amazing food & customer service. I highly recommend Lets Be Frank!
amazing staff, friendly place to eat
I enjoyed this place. If youre looking for real food (we were planning on having McDonalds), youll enjoy this place. They let me customize my order. I had veal cutlets with a salad and it was delicious! They were very friendly and happy. You can tell the owner loves his food.
The food was amazing along with great costumer service!!!! I would 10000% recommend!!!
Good food!
If you have allergies to dairy or anything else, don t risk coming here. No matter how many times you tell them to make something dairy free, they will continue to put it on. This has happened more times then I d like to admit because I kept giving chances, they just don t listen and seem very offended when you confirm with them if they made it dairy free. The food is good, the pastas are prepared while you wait but it s not worth the risk and it s so disappointing to get home and not be able to eat the food you paid $$$ for because they doused your allergy all over it.
Delicious food. They cook pasta in front of consumer with hot flame, the flavour from cooking and food filled restaurant.
Had the chicken caeser salad. It was very bland chicken looked like it was boiled. The veal sandwich was just okay.. nothing special about it
Had a great experience here. Service was attentive and friendly. Food quantity was excellent! Definitely worth stopping in.
Best Italian in the area
Friendly service, generous portions and delicious food. Plenty of options and has prepacked dishes to take home to enjoy later. Will come again next time Im in the area.
If you adore deliciousness come hither.
I got chicken parmesiani pasta and half of it was scolding hot and the chicken parm was cold, bland tasting. The dish was ready after 2 min of ordering and definitely not fresh would not recommend and spent $70
Great food!! Highly recommend!
Phenomenal steak sandwich, I would highly recommend if in the area to try it out for lunch!
Great food! Friendly service!
Awesome spot! Frank is the best. Amazing pizza.
Amazing food Amazing customer service! I drive more than an hour to get Frank s amazing food combos for different family function and am always impressed with the food and well priced! Can not get this great quality for a better price anywhere when feeding a crowd!
Best steak sandwich!!! :)
Nice place for good espresso and tasty take-outs.
Delicious!!!! This was our first visit to LBF and it will not be our last. Great food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. Overall great customer experience!
Cant dine in yet very expensive for what u get not worth it
All though the food was delicious we did not receive what we ordered, when I let them know that the order was incorrect they did offer to replace 3 sandwiches BUT still disagreed that there was a mistake. I had the order confirmation showing what I ordered and what was received.
Huge portions - so if volume is what you re after, then this is the place for you! I found it to be okay but definitely not excellent. I d categorize the cuisine as typical cafeteria quality food. No doubt this place does very well in Newmarket but wouldn t survive in the downtown core where tastes are more discriminating and the quality of the competition is much higher. Final point about this eatery: You d be naive to expect high quality Italian food from a place that s owned and operated by a non-Italian!
Ive been here multiples times, since it first opened, the owner has always been friendly, made me my first Italian coffee years and years ago. Always come back for the veal sandwhich or when ever special is on. A great place to grab a quick sandwich.
Good seafood and pasta, very friendly staff, great throwing skills
I order 4 different pastas, taste really good, big portion, second day reheat still good. Cake is normal. Will try pizza and frozen pasta next time.
Granted, it was somewhat close to closing time, but I was served a lukewarm steam table veal piece in my panini, with added cheese which did not melt. If you cant make it properly, dont sell it.
We ordered through Uber eats to give this place a try and honestly it was just not good. I try not to be negative as anyone can have an off night but the food we received was cold and inedible we actually tossed it in the recycle bin. Pizza ice cold, eggplant parmigiana cold and tasteless , lasagne covered in cheese so much that you tasted nothing absolutely gross. Rice pasta overcooked so much it disintegrated on the fork. Desert was totally ridiculous as the tiramisu was from Costco in the little glass cups and the cake was from frozen grocery store box for sure not restaurant quality period. I absolutely will never order from them again as it s absolutely not good food Save your money as I lost mine and ended up eating cereal.
Got served by Frank himself. Delicious veal sandwich.
Ordered carbonara. I got bacon soup. No bruschetta with order I get a credit for a place I ll never go back to. This is Mangia cake food at its best. A little container of Kraft dressing for a large Greek salad. Wow awful never again. Keep the bruschetta I paid for. 75$ in the garbage.
I hate giving this place 5 stars, cause anyone who reads this may want to go, and that may make it longer for me. I love this place. A must try.
Great tasting italian sandwiches which are very large. However at lunch time there can be lineups outside since covid limits the number of people inside
The steak sandwich is pretty big. Almost shareable. Great flavor and fresh buns make it a destination.
Great food, great prices...
Great sangwiches
Great catering. Arrived on time and the guests really enjoyed it. Will order again for my next party
I went here many years ago to try the eggplant sandwich and it turned out to be so delicious. They have many items on their menu to try and the value and taste is perfect. The location is convenient at Davis and Leslie intersection. If youre craving good italian food, give this place a try!
