I m looking at the reviews and there seems to be a little confusion. Don t listen to any of them. Listen to me, someone who visits this spot frequently as I work around the corner. This is the best chicken sandwich I ve had in my life times 10. Not one even slight recommendation needs to be made. The BBQ mayo chicken sandwich is a HIT and it needs to be studied aha. I highly recommend the lunch special that comes with fries and a drink. Very good value. Fills you up, portion size is solid and the taste is the best of the best. Cheers 10/10. If you ever are thinking of eating out or buying for family, buy the chicken sandwich combos and your night will be made. Thank me later.

Was my go to for fried chicken and wedges, unfortunately the last 3 times I went they said I would have to wait 15 minutes for my order of 4 PC with wedges. I didnt think that a 4 PC an unusual order. Ill give it one more try then its back to Mary Browns..

Best chicken anywhere

I was happy when I found this place with delicious chicken, we ordered it a lot at work and at home... but that was in the past, now you changed recipe... just regular chicken... Hope Ill be back wnen you return old style chicken (and Im sure Im not the only one with this opinion) Old style was unique, new nothing special.

Used to be little brothers and it was ok, but the new takeover has much better food and it s more affordable. The chicken sandwich is so good, not dry at all and fresh. Tater poutine is a must as well, great quality

A new place for our family for fried chicken. We chose sweet potatoes and Nutella cinnamon pies as sides. They were yummy especially when it was served hot.

Spectacular chicken! Ask them what oil they use, I really makes a difference. The owner is really nice and goes above and beyond to make sure customers get great Canadian chicken at competitive prices! Lovely atmosphere and inviting...Clean tables and washrooms go a long way too! All in all, delicious and finger licking good!

Great spot for fried chicken. Some friends and I stopped in here after a weekend away. I had three strips and fries. No complaints. The fries were crispy and delicious. The chicken was crunchy and cooked to perfection. Their spicy mayo is unique with a sweet tang to it. Very very good. I recommend coming here next time you crave some good fried chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meals. - portions are not big! Still worth it. Kid-friendliness: Good meal options.

Little brother kitchen or LBK as me and my wife call ir .. has the best chicken sandwich!!!!!!!! Sad news. LBK turned to a chucks chicken plus. NOT THE SAME Hope LBK opens up a new store.

Someone else bought the restaurant I guess. The entire menu has changed, to the point where I thought I was looking at the wrong restaurant at first. Literally every single menu item my friend and I liked are either gone, or changed. Absolutely will not be going back, thanks for ruining the best spot in Newmarket.

Ive been going to LBC since they opened up and I loved everything that they had to offer. Some other company called Chucks just showed up and seemingly replaced them without warning. I am saddened by the loss of a much beloved local restaurant. Chucks is sub-par, at best. They pale in comparison. I really hope that LBC pops up elsewhere!

Wow. This chicken is just awesome. Just enough seasoning in the crispy batter then super juicy chicken... not to mention their homemade wedges. Crispy on the outside with hot pillowy potatoes on the inside. Love it all. Will be back and would recommend with ease.

Their food isnt great, but its not bad. They dont make dips from scratch which is a miss for the price and all the chicken competition in this area. Their chicken fingers and popcorn chicken taste like its from a bag frozen though. Fries were decent but they taste like fried chicken and not really fresh potatoes. (Likely because they use the same oil) Coleslaw was good. Overall a little to expensive for the portion size and quality.

Sooo, Little Bros. is now Chucks Chicken. Still waiting on the signage, but the food has changed. Totally changed. First, I have to rave about the wedge poutine. Its amazing!! M*** B**** taters, with Little Brothers fry coating and gravy, cheese curds...OMG!!! More gravy would be nice, but otherwise, AMAZING!!!! The chicken though, to crunchy for me. I miss the steamed buns and softer chicken. Love the amount of mayo and lettuce...But, the pickles, I missed them...and would prefer them on top or to the side. The crunch of the breading is again, to much for me and I find I have to leave it and reheat it later to make it work for me. Glad to have the onion rings back and the chicken bites are ok. Missing the corn though. Do not like the wraps being done in a whole wheat wrap either. Hopefully they bring back, alter or get rid of some things but.... I will totally be back for that wedge poutine but hope some things change or gets more options.

This place used to be the best chicken in town hands down, until they change their menu.... Very disappointing. I dont know what the owner was thinking, we used to get this at least twice a month, we havent been back since they changed the menu.

Terrific food, lovely staff and timely service. So glad they are still there (and their menu offers better value compared to the new Mary Browns....). I truly respect and appreciate that you are closed on Sundays - but my, how I wish you were open at times! Thanks for always providing great food and great service. Accidentally missed the bus so I went in to wait for the next one and grab a bite. Best Chicken burger i ever had and the poutine is AMAZING!

I was looking forward to trying the schnitzel. Placed an order for two and it was ready in 10 minutes. Opened it at home and I could see that it was just a thick breaded pork cutlet. It had not been hammered thin. At least the breading was crispy. The fries tasted like they had been bleached and were inedible. The coleslaw and corn was good. The mashed potatoes were chunky (lumpy would be too kind). The gravies tasted like they came from a can. At least the dill sauce was good. The staff was friendly; but, I wont be returning.

Well this place here it is definitely interesting because it almost seems they have the same chicken as Mary Browns but on the other hand it is actually not bad its worth the money so give it a try

Order and requested an extra crispy chick like the other review and I recieved a very soggy chicken like it they intended not to make it crispy at all. First time trying them I guess the quality has gone down hill from the previous reviewer.

Great little Restaurant.

Had lunch here with a couple family members. Their chicken is quite good surprisingly. Was unfortunately expecting like KFC kind, but was much much happier with what they made. Not greasy and very flavorful. Their pulled pork sandwich was good as well, with their coleslaw inside. Quiet place, clean, staff was friendly enough and actually was very accommodating. My reason for 3 stars and my only complaint; which I find is actually a concern for the staff, is the lighting was close to inexistent. Yes there are large windows, but they do not give enough light. It would have been nicer to have had a properly lit restaurant, while I was eating with family. Please fix your lighting for your employees well being.

Little Brothers doesnt deserve a 4.5 rating. It should be 5.0 atleast. Name all the fried chicken food chain you know, but Little Brothers has the juiciest and cleaniest meat down to the bone. Not salty and smells good. Btw, their poutine was so good. Will explore some in the menu next time. But their fried chicken is the best by far.

This place WAS great. Must be new owners. Came in and no one acknowledged us. So we waited. A very nice gentlemen eating popped his head in the back to let them know we were there. Again, we waited. A couple workers looked but no one came. So we left. They didn t even care we left. Too bad. This place WAS great.

I have been to LBK a few times now and I am very impressed by this non-chain establishment. Not once was I disappointed. The flavour, the spices and the tenderness of the chicken are fantastic. It s, in my honest opinion, leaps and bounds better than the go-to Colonel s recipe. Not greasy and not too salty, chicken is fresh and full of flavour. Breasts are full size (unlike certain American chain) and thighs are juicy. None of them tastes like days-old chicken fried in rancid oil. One thing that can be improved is the breaded thick cut fries. If they can come unbreaded that d be awesome.

Best spot in town

Went for the first time, I loved the chicken, popcorn chicken, and chicken strips. Not to mention the sides are very good also. Not very greasy and the breading tastes very good. Everything was prepared fast and fresh. Will definately go back. My new favourite now, bye bye kfc.

The chicken burger was good ($5 special on Mondays) and the chicken itself seemed good too, it s not your heavy Popeyes batter which isn t bad for a change lol with the chicken combo you receive two sides and that coleslaw side is pretty large and good well it reminded me of the old school KFC coleslaw taste minus the green colour. The fries were good they seemed battered which was interesting but if they cool down they aren t that great. I need to go back and try just the chicken!

First time there. It was delicious. And fair prices for the portions and good tasting food. We had the chicken, Real mashed potatoes, gravy and the best milk shakes. Kawartha ice cream they use, the best, in the shakes. No one uses real potatoes, anymore, as its usually instant. The quality of the food was awesome. We will definitely be back. The chicken wasnt greasy, sure a bit, but anything deep fried is. Not like other places. Too greasy. Its our chicken go to place, now. I cant say enough good things about it. Great customer service too. Very friendly. Thanks for everything. And the chicken Im already craving for. Up. (Best tasting chicken). Well, went back the other day. (Friday May 4 @ 4:30 pm). Not so happy this time. Prices went up in under weeks. And charged me $1.50 extra, per piece, of dark meat. First of all, dark meat is always cheaper. White meat is more. Its a fact. Not happy at all. And it was very greasy this time. Our First visit was amazing. The staff this past Friday were not very friendly. So were done. As it cost me so much more this time. A RIP Off. . . I was so shocked by this. It was like being in a totally different place. I just wont pay that much per piece. It added up. Costing me an extra $12 bucks or more. So much for ordering a set priced combo. No Xtra charges last time.

Stopped here for a late night meal and its really good and really fast! Not sure how they got the deep fried feel since I didnt hear any deep fryers going, but it was a really nice light, and very tasty coating. The meat was super juicy to the point it was leaking when biting into it. The fries and coleslaw is is wonderfully made. Definitely want to head back!
