Omg, the food is amazing, my son loves the rice balls and the steak was cooked perfectly, the staff is amazing and I love Karaoke on Friday nights...... Since posting this review had a private party there where are the owner was nice enough to close the place for me the food was amazing the staff was amazing and the owner did such a great job and making sure my sons party was an absolute success, thank you so much Knights Arms.

If you can see Outcast when they are playing there, do it!

Dont eat here the food is pathetic ordered fish & chip and the fish was from a box it had no flavour the yams were burned my friend order a burger witha few toppings abd it cam with a sauce and sent it back the owner did not do a thing about it we are regular customers for about one year but that was the last time we will never go back to this pathetic place we should call the health department about the food and how dirty the mens washroon is who the hell owns this place

I went with colleagues for lunch. Many of us had meal salads and appies. The salads were top notch. Fresh, plentiful and original. I had the tropical with blackened chicken. Delish! And the calamari plate was generous with big rings. I m tired of overpriced places with skimpy portions. The atmosphere was very non-existent. But for straight food, who cares? The waitress wasn t overly perky but very professional which I appreciate. Professionalism and solid food trumps the rest. Appears to be many specials throughout the week too. Will be back!

Made an order for our office lunch but they forgot my order, so I had to starve while everyone else ate. Not impressed and probably wont ever be ordering from here again

So enjoy your food! Usually eat in but ordered takeout...a favourite...Meatloaf Platter with potatoes, steamed veggie, stringed onions and gravy. When l called to ask if the portions are smaller when ordering out, plus onions eliminated, the owner Sujee responded right away...Nooo..our mistake and either my brother Siva or myself will remedy that the next time you are in. Such great service as we will most certainly be back. Just wanted to say thank you as we are very satisfied. I always feel we, as customers, need to inquire with the Owner first before posting on social media that there was an error. Tony and Shelley Sampson

Its pub food, but poorly done pub food. Undercooked wings, overcooked fries and salad with lettuce that shouldnt have been served. The service was very slow and unfortunately, came with attitude. The atmosphere was fun, great with a live band and lots of sports on the tvs. Maybe it was an off night.

My neighbour recommended them as I moved to Newmarket a few months ago. I ve dined in and I ve ordered on skip. The food s always The service was solid, but I was only there once. Highly highly recommend for the food alone. Great pub food.

I went there tonight at 9 p.m., and the waitress was rushing to take orders, asking us to pay the bill right away, even though they werent closing until 2 a.m!!! I would not recommend this place!

We order takeout regularly and appreciate the extra effort to separate hot and cold food when its packed. They are also awesome about honoring reasonable substitution requests. Not to mention, the menu is extensive and the food is delicious! Our favourite pub to order take-out from.

Newmarket staple. Karaoke on Fridays rocks thanks to Keith! Friendly regulars, affordable drinks, decent selection. The food is surprisingly good for a bar. Our waitress Trish was so friendly and attentive!

We have only ever ordered delivery from here & we are avid delivery people - I have to say this is the only place we know that no matter what we try off the menu it s going to be good. They have an excellent kitchen / chef / cooks and I hope they don t change them. Some of our faves: - Bangers & Mash - French Onion Soup - Irish nachos - garlic butter shrimp - shrimp tacos - Louisiana creole pasta We are repeat customers & find this place to offer great comfort food! Would recommend :)

Spent family day with the family. Had a great meal and the price was great. Kid-friendliness: Great kids meal options, large portions. Excellent price for what you get. Kids menu had a pretty extensive word find. It kept my daughter busy before the food arrived.

The food is good portion size it is actually good. I never really had any issues with that. The service is understaffed and fairly slow at acknowledging you. Two ladies and the owner, every single one of them, passed by ignoring us. (They glanced at us) Went for entertainment, left after forty minutes of not being served. If the service was 5 times better, this would be a great place to go. Hang out with friends and live music.

Went there for linner on Sunday. We ordered several things, the calamari and Ruben sandwich were amazing. The dry wings not so much but the hungry garlic wings were the opposite. The atmosphere is ok, the place is old and it cold so a bit of an upgrade but at the end of the day it is a pub after all. The service was amazing, our server was super friendly and treated use really well. I would certainly good back to try other things in the menu. The price we paid for three of us was very reasonable.

Server is rude, takes forever for food to come out

We ordered a bunch of different food items for delivery tonight and it came well packaged, fresh and hot. We really liked the wings and fries. Big portions, fresh ingredients. Quits impressed. Will order again.

Disgusting and disappointed. I ordered a steak and lobster tail dinner. Ended up throwing all of it in the garbage. The lobster was slimy with a jelly like texture fallen completely out of shell. You could barely get through steak with knife. The mash potatoes where super lumpy. Just when I thought the vegetables were OK they weren t. Anyway what a waste of $$$

Huge menu sometimes a bit overwhelming but the food is amazing best butter chicken I ve tried in newmarket and the portions are large easy enough to share with someone else we order delivery from here for lunch often, Staff is awesome here if your dining in too!

Knights Arms is a very good restaurant. I have tried many meals and they are all very good. Try the more uncommon dishes. My favorite is the Creamy Irish Chicken. Mmm. Nutritious, yummy and great value I highly recommend it!!

Knights arms is possibly the best pub food available. Had the knights burger last night. Amazing burger. It s said if a burger doesn t make a mess it no good. This burger a messy and amazing. Try it you ll like it.

The food was good ...to floor needs to be repaired.....the server well lets hope it was her first time on her own ...or she may need more training....she brought out drinks 2 at a time...we were told 5 minutes for a coffee it was like 15 minutes....lost her pad for taking our orders ...forgot the ice. Diet coke was water with a little colouring....mixed up all of our bills . ..just needs more training and practice....

Have eaten here a few times and found that as a Pub the food is great. Great selection of food and has always been excellent. We had my 65th birthday here and had friends from Toronto to Markdale and everyone loved their meal. So if you looking for a good meal great atmosphere try them out..staff are fantastic.

The food was great, the salad was fresh, good portion size, good pricing. The server was friendly and attentive. We would eat there again. Just one thing, I found the music to be a bit too loud but not overly so, we could hear each other talk.

Went there for dinner tonight Kayla was my server great person and she saw to my every need got the Saturday special the rib and wing combo when the meal came to me the fries and onion rings were cold she promptly brought it to the kitchens attention and fresh were made and served within 10 minutes only other complaint I had but nobodies fault is the ribs are side ribs so quite a bit of fat But still give it 5 stars for service alone will definitely return and thank you Kayla for a enjoyable dinner Parking: Lots of parking spaces throughout the plaza

Had a great time here the other night. We loved the karaoke, the fun atmosphere, and everyone was in good spirits and cheering each other on. I only had the fries to eat, but they were delicious! I would definitely come back.

Me being a bigger woman the booths with the tables nailed to the floor with minimal space makes it a bit uncomfortable to sit. But they have lots of TVs, good bar area, upstairs seating ( Im disabled and have a hard time climbing the stairs) and outside seating.

On this day, there was only one chef and 1 server on stuff. Even though, their service was excellent and so was the food. We waited a little longer, but everyone in the restaurant was very patient. The server was run off her feet but smiled throughout. I had the best roast beef dip that I have ever had anywhere.

Horrible service and waitresses harass you for tips I ll make sure I never return. I paid my bill with credit card and I was going to leave cash at the table when I left but waitress was rude and requested a tip. My friend gave in and left her a non deserved tip. I ll make sure never to return

I was picking up an online order, the guy came out with the order shouting at me after waiting almost 15 minutes, telling me give me your order details I cant wait for you, I asked him why are you shouting at me he took the order inside and refused to give me the order. Never ordering from here again!

This is our favourite pub in the area. The food is amazing. There is an extensive menu and they manage to do it all very well. Portions are plentiful and specials are great value. The servers are all very pleasant and friendly (all great at what they do). Beer is always cold and wine is not overpriced! (Which is refreshing to say the least). I d highly recommend it for fresh homemade food and pub grub as well as a cold pint!

Food is great, but they prioritize Uber eats orders over their patrons. Waited about 80 minutes to get our food after ordering. Shocker: it was cold. Waitress asked if we needed anything when she brought the food: we said ketchup and another beer. Neither ever came. Foods great but just order on Uber. Don t go in.

The seafood linguine was good, however a few less muscles and a few more shrimp and more than just 1 scallop. Will try something else next time. Food

I first time here for us. Food was ok , they were short staffed but to be honest the worst part was there was a poker game going in and the woman running it was so loud shouting above everyone! Although the waitress forgot to put in our order, there was about 50 people in the restaurant and only 1 staff working the bar and the dining area. She was new too. The owners need to do a better job of staffing.

We come to this restaurant every now and then. Food is good. Service could use some work. Generally the wait staff never comes back after dropping off the food, always have to wave them down if we need something or for the bill. Last few times we ve asked for glasses of water when our food came and never got it. Last time we asked for water 3 times and it never came, waitress never even acknowledged it. We gave up trying.

Average pub food. Our server was super nice but the kitchen was very slow. First there was a bug on the straw of our drink then there was hair in our wings and the kitchen took very long to remake the order. The beer and wing combo have bare minimum options for beer that is applicable.

Worst food I have ever had very disappointed wont go there again

The food was amazing. My only complaint was the washroom. My wife isnin a wheelchair and she went to the washroom and the wheelchair would not fit through the door. She had to get out of her chair and it had to be pulled out without her on it. Plus there is no wheelchair stall.

Food here was excellent. They have a large menu with something for everyone. Lots of wing flavors. We were a party of 4 and everyone enjoyed what they had. Service was great. Cant wait to go back.

In knights arms Many days I ordered food by Uber and skip the food was so nice. Today I came for dine in with my family . Food was delicious . and restaurant looks nice, clean .service was fantastic friendly staff. The price is reasonable . We are all of them. Are happy . The menu of this pub is surprisingly rich and varied. After 2 visits, I highly recommend the salads (beet and avocado) and their Pad Thai. Sarah is an excellent bartender and she appears to be friendly with all the regulars.

Our server Sarah is not just great at her job, but a genuinely nice human being! Food is delicious, such an amazingly diverse menu, and great value! I really dont know how they get it all right over and over again but weve had nothing but perfect meals here!

If you value your dining experience DONT order the fish & chips. I have had better quality from a food cart. Garbage is all I can say. My son ordered two pounds of chicken wings and it was more like a pound and a half. Over cooked and tough. Garbage once again. The wait staff was ok. I will not go back ever. $120 for my two teens and I to eat garbage is ridiculous.

Ordered Delivery from this place. I was missing an item from my order and the delivery driver from SKIP called the restaurant to find out what happened to my order. The place was busy with a party as it was so loud in the background you could barley hear the manager. Manger was rude and said it was out of his hands, pretty much it wasn t his problem. Saying he had no drivers. Very disappointed in this place if you are too busy as a restaurant and can not fulfill online orders turn off your skip until u are less busy. You loose customers and money when u are unable to meet demand. Will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Entered Friday night.. met by young man who first off told us he was exhausted. We ordered two beers and off he went. We were hungry and wanted an app and meal. Young fellow wandered around the bar, in and out of kitchen with no attempt to get our beers. Did I say the place was almost empty. Not busy. Waited 8 minutes nothing and left. Very abysmal customer service.
